Making a JList as a Drop target for 2 drop features

Hi there, would like to ask wat condition do i check for if I wan to make a JList a Drop target for 2 features. One of which come from another JList... the other is drag and drop internally(Reshuffling of Position)... would like to get it as soon as possible.. thanks!!!!

through event's source, definately you have two JList instances extended by JList, so just check event source instance.

Pen tool isn't making a path as i drop my anchor points.

hey guys,
my pen tool isn't making a path as i drop down each anchor point. it goes invisible after each anchor point is dropped, which makes it hard for me to know what i am doing.. any help? suggestions?!

ISCSI targets for the Mac

I setup a VMware vSphere 4 Server with RAID 10 direct-attached storage and 3 virtual machines:
- OpenSolaris 2009.06 dev version (snv_111b) running 64-bit
- CentOS 5.3 x64 (ran yum update)
- Ubuntu Server 9.04 x64 (ran apt-get upgrade)
I gave each virtual 2 GB of RAM, a 32 GB virtual drive and setup a 16 GB iSCSI target on each (the two Linux vms used iSCSI Enterprise Target 0.4.16 with blockio). VMware Tools was installed on each. No tuning was done on any of the operating systems.
I ran two tests for write performance - one on the server itself and one from my MacBook Pro (10.5.7) connected via Gigabit (mtu of 1500) iSCSI connection using globalSAN 3.3.0.43.
Here’s what I used on the servers:
time dd if=/dev/zero of=/root/testfile bs=1048576k count=4
and the Mac OS with the iSCSI connected drive (formatted with GPT / Mac OS Extended journaled):
time dd if=/dev/zero of=/Volumes/test/testfile bs=1048576k count=4
The results were very interesting (all calculations using 1 MB = 1,084,756 bytes).
For OpenSolaris, the local write performance averaged 86 MB/s. I turned on lzjb compression for rpool (zfs set compression=lzjb rpool) and it went up to 414 MB/s since I’m writing zeros). The average performance via iSCSI was an abysmal 16 MB/s (even with compression turned on - with it off, 13 MB/s).
For CentOS (ext3), local write performance averaged 141 MB/s. iSCSI performance was 78 MB/s (almost as fast as local ZFS performance on the OpenSolaris server when compression was turned off).
Ubuntu Server (ext4) had 150 MB/s for the local write. iSCSI performance averaged 80 MB/s.
One of the main differences between the three virtual machines was that the iSCSI target on the Linux machines used partitions with no file system. On OpenSolaris, the iSCSI target created sits on top of ZFS. That creates a lot of overhead (although you do get some great features).
Since all the virtual machines were connected to the same switch (with the same MTU), had the same amount of RAM, used default configurations for the operating systems, and sat on the same RAID 10 storage, I’d say it was a pretty level playing field.
At this point, I think I'll be using Ubuntu 9.04 Server (64-bit) as my iSCSI target for Macs.
Has anyone else done similar (or more extensive) testing?

I had a lot of trouble with SimCity4 on my iMac. It became such a headache that I returned it to compUSA. It ran very choppy and crashed repeatedly when the city began to develop. My system FAR exceeds the system requirements for the game, and after some online research I discovered that I am not the only person to have this trouble with SimCity running on 10.4. I have also read problems concerning the SIMS2. Some of what I have read indicates that 10.3 runs the games fine, but 10.4 causes them to crash. I don't know if this is the case, but I do know that I am now very weary before dropping $50 on a game that may not perform on my computer as it claims to on the box. Some people trying to run games are talking about waiting for Mac OS updates that will allow them to run smoother.

No Drag-n-Drop feature for my mounted Adobe Drive in my Adobe Bridge CC

I've developed a custom Drive Connector for our storage server. In Adobe Bridge CC, after connecting and auto-mounting to our server through Adobe Drive 5, there is no Drag-n-Drop feature for my data inside the mounted drive. But, if I browse other directories of my Mac with Bridge, all files are draggable. What could be the problem?
It's quite strange! Because, files within my mounted drive are draggable through Adobe Bridge CS6, but not in Adobe Bridge CC !!!
My configuration:
Mac OSX 10.9.2
Adobe Bridge CC 6.0.1.6
Adobe Drive 5.0.2.16
Our own custom Drive connector

I too have discovered the lack of Drag-n-Drop support in Bridge when browsing assets provided by my Adobe Drive connector. I have tried telling Drive that I support nearly all of the Drive features by adding "Capability" objects to the ConnectHandler's response object (including Capability.COPY and Capability.MOVE), but that had no effect; Bridge still refuses to let me drag an asset provided by the connector.
I would very much like to know what I have to do in order to provided Drag-n-Drop functionality.

Transport target for business system not found in System Landscape Director

Folks,
We have new installed new PI 7.1 system and importing interfaces from the OLD XI 3.0 system in to new PID 7.1 system.
We are getting following error when we try to import an interfaces in to new PID system:
Import failed because of business system transfer object
Communication component XID_FileSystem: Obligatory
transport target for business system XID_FileSystem not found in
System Landscape Directory
We are yet to install PIQ system.
All the interfaces in the old XID system have transport target of XIQ system. I removed the transport taget for the interface, but transport target is still showing in the Business system under transport target head.
How can we overcome this issue as we will not have PIQ system atleast for two weeks.

Hi,
You need to maintain Transport Groups and target for business systems while SLD transports between your XI system and PI 7.1
Illustrated with DEv & PRD here.
Procedure:
1) Call Integration Builder screen on DEV Server with http://hostname:J2ee Port/rep
2) Call SLD (System Landscape Directory) Component from the Integration builder
Save all the Following .zip files on the Local Desktop
3) Select the Software Component & say Export that you want to Export from DEV
Server to Production server and which is going to use in the IR of XI
4) Also Select the Product of the above SWC and say Export
5) Select the Technical Systems (TS of XI & TS of the SAP R/3) and say Export
6) Select the Business System(s) & say Export; those are associated with above Exported
Technical systems.
In Production Server
1) Logon to the SLD of the Production Server.
2) Create a Technical System and Business system which points to the Production SAP R/3
3) Go to Administration TAB in the main page of SLD
4) Select the Import option to Import the SWC , PRD, TS,& BS which we Exported Earlier in DEV Server
5) Click on Browse and select the .zip files that is to Import into Production Server,
Which were stored on the local desktop at the time of DEV Server Export
And say Import Selected File Option
By this we exported and imported the SLD Objects
Now we have to create transport groups and transport targets in the Production server of SLD
Creation of Transport Groups
Edit GroupsGroup1) Select the Business systems
2) Click on New Group and give the name of the group as DEV_group & select the
Corresponding Development serveru2019s integration Server
3) Similar way create another group for Production serveru2019s business system as
PRD_group and select the Production serveru2019s integration Server
Creation of transport targets
This is to Define which business systems in two different groups correspond to each other
1) Select each Business system in the SLD and select transport TAB---click on
Add/Change Target and select its corresponding target business system.
For Example:
If you select the business system of Production XI server means
In the target you have to select group as DEVGROUP and the business system of Development XI server.
Like this do the same for other business systems also
Ex:
BS_PRD_Integration Server----
BS_DEV_Inetration Server

Using HostComponent as target for effect in skin file

I am creating a collapsible panel. I have the component file and a skin file.
I have declared collapsed and normal states in my skin file.
when the state change happens i need to show some animation, so used the transition effects. as below.

Buying more hard drive space is a very valid option, here. Editing takes up lots of room, you should never discount the idea of adding more when you need it.
Another possibility is exporting to MXF OP1a using the AVC-I codec. It's not lossless, but it is Master quality. Plus the file size is a LOT smaller, so it may suit your needs.

DEV- QAS : Obligatory transport target for business system not found

Hi guys!
I have read all the other threads about this subject, but since I still have no success, I´m feeling obligated to ask you for a help (deadline approaching fast!)
I´m trying to transport a Communication Channel, from DEV environment to QAS. I'm having the 'usual' error:
Import failed because of business system transfer of object Communication Channel * | SIGA | SOAP_SYNC_SENDER: Obligatory transport target for business system SIGA not found in System Landscape Directory
Here were my steps:
Keep in mind that in DEV, everything was up and running: Software Component, Product, Technical System and Business System for this name "SIGA".
1 - In DEV, I created a new Technical System, named "SIGA_QAS", pointing to my QAS server. (Keeping in mind I already had a "SIGA" pointing to my DEV server.)
2 - Still in DEV, I did create two groups: GROUP_DEV and GROUP_QAS, one points to INTEGRATION_SERVER_DX1 (DEV) and the other INTEGRATION_SERVER_QX1 (QAS).
3 - Still in DEV, I created the Business System called "SIGA_QAS" also, pointing to my QAS server.
4 - Still in DEV, I went inside both Business Systems and put: "SIGA_QAS" as TARGET BS of "SIGA" (which automatically puts "SIGA" as SOURCE BS of "SIGA_QAS")
If I look at my QAS SLD, I can see all of these objects already there, since my BASIS team did activate the 'sync' between these two environments. So, I dont need to create anything 'new' in my QAS SLD, all the objects are there, same as DEV SLD.
If I try to EXPORT/IMPORT a simple Communication Channel (using file system or even CTS - I tried both) I get the error mentioned above.
But this is 'wierd' for me, since the error says: "business system SIGA not found in System Landscape Directory", but it is there, in both SLDs.
Am I missing something here?

Hi,
If you not tried this then try it. Delete the Business System SIGA from Integration Directory in your QAS system and then again import the business system from SLD. Acitvate the changes and then import the CC from Dev to QAS.

Setting target for the handler in CPO

Hi,
I would like to know how to set the target while invoking a handler at CPO end from CPSC. For testing at CPO end, i usually set the target at start time or as a default target. But i need to select the target based on the user who invokes the process. So how can i set the target for this scenario? My process is a webservice triggered and user trigerred one. There is an option of setting the target of Webservice triggering event's target. But am not able to configure that properly. Could anyone please help how to resolve this?

"Web Service Trigger" will always have the same target (Automation Service), so that will not be particularly helpful to what you are trying to achieve.
I think you may want to approach this a little different.
Suppose process A is the process for which you want to dynamically choose a target, based on how it is invoked (via a Northbound Web Service with some parameters or by a end-user or perhaps on a schedule).
Move most of the functionality of the process A into process B.
Modify process A to call process B.
Add "steps" to process A, before the call to B, to find the target that you want. You can use "Find Target" activity and utilize properties of the trigger to determine the right target. For example, if the name of the target is passed as a parameter to the process or if there by looking up the target in a table variable "username to target".
Call process B and use the target found in "Find Target" activity, instead of the one that process A is running on.
I hope that makes sense.

How can I disable drag and drop feature for a document library? Do I have an option to disable it from the SharePoint's feature set?
Or can I disable it using a script? If so, how?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to disable drag and drop feature for a document library.
Drag and drop in SharePoint 2013 is a feature that depends on HTML5, which requires version of browser, SharePoint by default doesn’t has feature to disable or enable this.
You can try disabling the drag and drop feature by disabling an add-on in Internet Explorer, or
using Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

Obligatorytransport target for business system not found in SLD

Dears,
We implemented CTS+ in our PI three system landscape.
While implementation we configured local SLD and after that for dev and QAs we configured a central SLD.
And for Production we have seprate SLD.
In DEV SLD we have three buisness systems:
File_Dummy of type DEv
File_Dummy_Q of type QAS
File_Dummy_P of type PRD
Now in transport target group of File_Dummy I put File_Dummy_Q and in File_Dummy_Q I put File_Dummy_P but for BS File_Dummy_P target group is empty.
Now I put all these BS into a request and import them in QAS then I get error:
Obligatorytransport target for business system File_Dummy_P not found in System Landscape Directory
Now I am not getting what to put in transport target of File_Dummy_P as it is of type.
I tried to put their File_Dummy_P but we can not put PRD type BS there.
I also tried with dev and qas BS there but still same error.
Please suggest how to resolve this error.

did you transported the associated technical systems of your business systems....?
Also I assume you have assoicated the targets foryour business systems in SDL..
like for D targets are Q and P
for Q source is D and Target is P
for P sources are D and Q... if not assoicate the same...
and also make sure the three groups are available for three environments...

We have installed New PI 7.1 system and stared migrating the interfaces from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1 . in Devlopement system .
IR object have been successfully deployed but while delopying ID objects got the following error . Obligatory transport target for business system SAPR3D not found in System Landscape Directory.
When I checked with business system transport target was not defined ., Please suggest how to go ahead further .
