Making a line's coordinates adjust to a Dynamic/Scrolling Canvas

Hi,
I am trying to use Flex to develop a simple display... I have a canvas
with couple of Buttons. I draw line between some of these buttons. As long as
there is no scroll on the screen the line show up fine. But once width/Height
of the Canvas increases and you get the scroll... the lines don't scroll
accordingly. The lines appear to be sticky on the Canvas rather than
move with the buttons...
Any idea how I can overcome this???

Once i draw the line i add it as a child to the canvas. But when the size of the canvas changes, the line seems like it sticks to the canvas while the other components of the canvas adjust well.

VC Multiple Table Column Header Lines, Table Width Adjustment

Hi Experts,
1) How to have Multiple headers for a column in a single cell i.e multiple lines in the same cell. please provide with example.
2) How to set your table to adjust the width automatically for all screen resolution since columns of the table disappear and some of the content of the header is not visible if the screen resolution is low.
3) Is there any way to set the screen resolution for our report alone to very high resolution even if the end user has set the system resolution to low. The reports were developed on a high resolution and now we face the problem as citrix is rolled out and it is standard 1024 * 768 resolution.

Wrapping the text of a table column caption into lines is currently not possible. Workarounds could be:
- using a single character text and a tooltip for the description
- using an image containing the wrapped text
Both workarounds have their problems.

Making swirly lines -adobe bridge-no good

How do you make those lines that are looking like they follow a path so that it seems like an animated paint brush or parade ribbon?
I did a tutorial from creative cow on ribbons but it's not what I"m looking for, I want some flowing, whirly lines for a background animation.
btw, why aren't previews of all the effects avalable in bridge; I need an effect guide.

Making a line image sketchy

Hi,
I can render out from my 3d software as line/contours such as in this link;

The first problem, will, is that you are trying to generate new 3D information from what is essentially a 2D image. The text is in perspective but since you are bringing it into PS as an 2D image, there is no way for PS to recognize the 3D-ness of the image.
The second problem is that PS, unless you have the Extended version, is essentially a 2D image editor.
Given those two problems, here are some ideas:
- Do everything in a 3D program. You mentioned Sketchup and it has a free version so that could be an option.
- Fake it in Photoshop. This could range from the pretty easy:

Stop creating multiple points when making a line

Hello, new to this and for some reason when I go to create a line or shape it keeps creating multiple end points like a fan for example when using the line, or multiple boxes from the same start point etc...any help? Can't seem to find any content on this.

Making a line interactively move on a map clip

You've seen how a map is shown on the page and then you see the line with an arrow superimposed on it to show the route traveled across the clip (I do want it to be interactive not just one line all at once from start to finish). Can anyone give me step by step on how to do this. Briefly I want to show the entire world and start from NY moving on to California then on to Asia etc. Wondering if Motion would come into play on this? FYI I'm familiar with FCP to the extent for what I do with it - that is to say I'm not an expert or even an advanced user and am well aware of the fact that I probably only use 25 percent of it's capabilities. Do you have iMovie? That is a built in feature. Click on the button for the Animatic Browser:
Create your moving map, then export to FCP for use.

Making later changes to Local Adjustment Tool

While the local adjustment tool is great - is there a way of "unpainting" parts of the adjustment, allowing you to refine areas/edges etc, rather than having to delete whole mask ?
ie like switching from a black to a white brush when using Photoshop masks ?
Also with gradient masks eg when object portudes into an adjusted sky area

Pretty basic...hold down the Option (or Alt for Win) key while painting to erase. Note the erase key can have different size and hardness settings than the paint in brush. This is use for painting with a bigger broad brush and using a smaller harder brush to erase the mask.

How to view lines in table control after pressing vertical scroll bar

I created table control in MPP, While design my layout I design table control with 12 lines(Fixed), But I am moving my internal table values to table control. my internal table have more then 12 lines. My problem is I cant view my 13, 14th line in table control. Could you help me in solve this issue?

Making a script that generates an output file dynamic

I've created the following script to run it from within SQL*Plus on my PC to generate a report regarding specific details about all my databases in one file. The idea is to get 1 result of all my databases.

The above script, for instance, generates the name of the database and the sessions details of all my databases.
I have 40 DBs and they all have the same password for user system.
My question, is there a way to re-write this script to achieve the same thing but in a dynamic way. ie: the database connection string becomes dynamic, so that I write the code only once and if the code changes, I change it only one time instead of 40 times.
Notes: I'd like to run the script from SQL*Plus on my Window PC, I know that the same thing can be achieved by running a script on the DB server by using /etc/oratab, but actually these 40 DBs are on 10 different DB servers and there is no oratab used.

Adjust page size dynamically ?

Hi,
i have a page with 2 iView created from PAR (URL isolation mode), i need the page to dynamically adjust the size to fit with the size of both iView together.
At this point i set the height type to automatic, but when the iView reached its maximum page height. Then it comes two scroll bars in pararell one in each iView and another one in Page.
how can i dynamically adjust iFrame sizes for both iView?? i heard that i can be done with javascript??
