Making a project multicam

Here's my workflow: I import video from a Canon XA10 and from a 7D. I transcode the .mts footage using Pavtube, then put all footage into Pluraleyes 3 to sync up.  I export to FCP X as a multicam project.
Problem is I can't figure out how to get into muticam editing mode. Meaning I can select different streams as a multicam project. What am I missing?

Hello folen,
I like creating each animation as its own swf file and then
using loadMovie
to load them into the main Flash when needed. It cuts way
down on your initial
load time, and you can put preloaders on each indiviual swf
if necessary.

  • I am making a project on iMovie and I would like to share with my other group members so they can edit as well, they also have macs is that possible?

I am making a imovie for a class project in a group. We all need to do work on the project. Can other Macs edit off of the same imovie?

    It's not a practical idea.
Dedicate one machine in the class to do the project from start to finish. Change the person in the chair.
You could also use an Apple TV in the classroom and "mirror" your iMovie work on a TV for the class to view.

When I make a project in iDVD'09, there are sometimes - at voluntary moments - green blocs with points flickering in some scenes of my iMovie-film.

    Hi
Can be a problem that get multiplied and visible when iDVD encode for DVD.
    A. See if problem can be isolated to a single frame in the movie and re-import this clip and see if it's better
    B. When free space on Start-Up hard disk goes low - strange things like this might occure. I never go under 25Gb free space on this Start-Up Mac OS hard disk !

  • Not rendering before making iDVD project

OK, by reading the post, it appears that the culprit for bad photo quality when making a photo slideshow in iMovie then going to iDVD is the iMovie render process.
So, when I hit the iDVD button is it OK to not render and make go right to iDVD?

    Hello NH Sullivan,
You've opened up a can of worms here! The images, when import into iMovie, are rendered as movie files, thus greatly reducing the quality of images. It is not iDVD that distorts the images. The best solution is to create a slideshow in iPhoto, export it to Quicktime and then import the slideshow into iMovie for titles and music. - Perfect every time!
iPhoto won't let you create a one photo slideshow. If you only want one image add the same photo twice to an iPhoto slideshow. You will have drag the image out of iPhoto and change the name. Then drop it back into iPhoto. Turn the Ken Burns effect turn Off and no transition you'll have a 6-20 second still (static) movie of your image that you can export to Quicktime and add to you iMovie project for editing without any compramise in image quality. You can make the two image slideshow as long as you want and cut the length down iMovie. You'll need about 6 seconds minimum to add transitions in and out.
    Have fun!

  • Making movie project in iDVD without a theme - still having trouble. help!

I am trying to make a movie in iDVD without a theme. I am following previous instructions but having a problem. I open up iDVD, create a new project. Pick a theme, then select the map view. When the screen opens I drag my movie into the first box which says "Drop content here to play....". I also loop the movie to play over. I am not able to move forward with burning a disc because there is a yellow triangle warning in the main theme box which says "menu contains no buttons". Nothing in HELP addresses this as far as I could find. Since I don't want to use menus and just want to burn my movie, how do I get around this problem. I finally decided to try and burn a disc anyway and iDVD quit during encoding process about half thru. Help....

Thanks Geoff - Your suggestion seems to be what I am looking for. However, halfway thru encoding/burning iDVD app quits on me. I don't know why that is happening??????

  • Jdev 10.1.2 errors in making a project file/ repackaging into an ear file

    Hi Guys
I am new to jdeveloper. I am using jdev 10g (10.1.2) for an old application modification and need help in running it.
I used ear files to create a workspace which was consisted of two projects. One was myfiles.jpr and the other-one myfiles-ear.jpr. I went into the htdocs of myfiles.jpr and modified some of the jsp files in one of them. Can you please tell how to repackage it into an ear file.
I tried to deploy it into an ear but I do not get the option for Deployment to an ear (right click on project, New, Deploy to an ear). I also tried to make the file and received a whole bunch of errors.
    please help.
    thanks!

As far as I know repackaging always means recompile the Java classes. If you only have changed jsps, you can try to just change the original ear file and deploy this.
Don't you have access to the original project or workspace?

  • Making multiple projects into one SCORM

I have made multiple Captivate 5 projects that need to transform into one SCORM Module on my moodle LMS website, and count as one SCORM Quiz/Test. I've tried to even load multiple projects in one zip, but it failed to jump to the other projects when I had them all linked together leaving only this: "loading..." when I click the button to open project on the SCORM package. Please Help... Thanks...

I'm assuming here that your questions are related to the fields in the Quiz Preferences in Captivate.
The Objective ID is the same for all reporting elements in a given module. The Interaction ID Prefix just helps to distinguish which particular module your question data came from if you happen to be viewing it on drilldown inside your LMS.  As long as it's not the same prefix as for other modules, it should be fine.
In the Multi-SCORM Packager dialog, the information you add to the fields will be written to the imsmanifest.xml file for the overall package:
Identifier is to provide an ID for your course that will be unique in your LMS. This will also be used to generate the filename of the final zip file.
Title is the name of the course.
Description may or may not be required by your LMS.  Test and see.  In some LMSs this info gets displayed to the user when viewing a synopsis of the course.
Version is the version of the package.  I actually use the date reversed for my versioning (20110520a) with a letter on the end in case I output more than one version on a given day.
Duration is important to add. Some LMSs won't regard your package as compliant without this.
Subject is not something I've generally worried about, but it doesn't hurt to put a brief phrase on what the course topic material is about (e.g. Health and Safety)

  • Making a project into an album

I got my Aperture 2 when I was busy trying to install my Time Machine. I automatically put all my new pictures into project boxes as shown at the top of the pull-out tab. Now, since they are varied shots of my three year old grandson, I'd like to make them into folders to store under his name in the program. I already lost one set of photos (I still have the original images. Is there an easy way to transfer the images from that 1st on the list project into an album so that they won't disappear when I semi-close the list?

you can't turn a project into an album ... images live in projects ... albums are "references" to images in those projects ...
projects can live in folders ... projects can contain folders and albums ...
    i'd suggest reading these articles:
    http://www.bagelturf.com/aparticles/library/index.php
    and getting this book:
    http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Pro-Training-Aperture/dp/0321539931/ref=sr11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1220620646&sr=1-1
you need to get the basic understand of the aperture library way of storing and sorting images ...

Hey guys, I'm obviously new to Java and had a simple question in mind... I have a finished program in the form of .class files... what forms could I convert the project to in order to be a normally working application like the commercial ones... can I convert it to a Windows exe or to a linux application file... is there a platform-independent extension?
I would be grateful if anybody overviewed the forms to which I can convert the .class files and how to do that...
    Thank you

Hey guys, I'm obviously new to Java and had a simple

the project to in order to be a normally working

I would be grateful if anybody overviewed the forms
to which I can convert the .class files and how to do
    that...
You can make a self executing jar.
As far as exe "conversion" goes. This question is asked with great frequency please search these forums and google for results. There are tools to both "wrap" your code with an exe loader and tools to actually turn it into to executables.
There is also Java Webstart which may be what you are actually looking for
Anyway good luck with your searching.

  • Question about making a project backup with Media Manager

I have several projects that I am working on right now. I'd like to make a backup of these projects and burn them to DVDs. The question I have is when I select "copy" with Media Manager it shows me how much space the backup will be. Without selecting the render files each of my projects would fit a a single DVD. If I don't include render files can they easily be recreated by just re-rendering the backup project?
    Thanks!

Backing up a project file takes very little space. Backing up the media associated with that project can take up a tremendous amount of space. By using Media Manager, I assume that you want to back up (copy) the media ... correct?
Do you only have 4.3gb of media used in the project you want to back up? That's all the data a DVD disc will hold.

  • Making a Project Clip Repeat

Is there a way to make a clip of a project I am working on in the timeline repeat itself over and over again the way it does in the Events rather than moving on to the next clip?

If i highlight a clip in the timeline and start the skimmer at its beginning by pushing the spacebar or the L key or the play key in the view when the clip completes itself in the viewer the play just goes on to the next clip in the timeline.  I would like it to go back to the beginning of the clip selected  and have it keep repeating itself.  A clip repeats itself over and over again in the Event browser when I push the space bar but not in the timeline.  Is there a way I can make an individual clip I highlight in the timeline repeat itself.  I get nothing when I push CMD-L and when I push the  I key it  just moves the selected portion inward for editing.

  • How do you use projects?

I am an old hand at LabVIEW, but new to LabVIEW projects.
I've used projects in other languages, and understand them fine.
But I'm having real trouble making LV projects work FOR me.
The ONE good thing I found is that I can place a VI into the HOST target or the PXI target, and LV knows to run it on the host, or run it on the PXI,
    Great.
Beyond that, what do they do FOR you?
If I double click on my main LLB file, the LOADING box comes up after about 420 VIs, and shows progress up to about 950, then PRESTO, my main window is there, ready to go.
If the PROJECT that contains this VI is open, though, after the LOADING is done, I get 10-12 seconds of an empty window frame (the size and title of my main VI), before it draws the front panel and is ready.
If that's a benefit, then somebody explain it to me, because I just don't get it.
If I drag an LLB into the project, I don't understand what happens. I get a FOLDER with the current CONTENTS of the LLB in it. But if I put something new into the LLB, it does NOT show up in the project folder for that LLB. Isn't it obvious that I want to put the whole library into the project?
If my MAIN vi is in the project, and it calls subVIs A,B, and C, what benefit is there to putting "A" into the project, versus leaving it out? Everything still works, as far as I can tell.
In what circumstances should I leave OUT subVI "A"?
Do I have to put all 950+ VIs into the project to enjoy a benefit? Since it's unable to follow libraries properly, that becomes a giant PITA.
Basically, how do you make them work FOR you?

I'm quite a fan of the project (maybe because I naive (?) thought if NI thinks we need it, I'll probably need it)
The shift you have to make to embrace the project is that it is a storage room for everything related to your code. It's not a mirror of your desktop (for that we have explorer).
Just like every new feature it has its bugs....
One of the things I love, is the ability to have one installer for several executables!
The ability to have good tweakable bld file for distributions, easily adjust external routines for different tasks.
The project itself is quite accesible from within LV, the only thing I miss is  a 'get current project' method for VIs, but I can see why this is not available.
