Making a website into Android/Apple app?

I have a mobile optimized website I was wanting to use to make a mobile app for the Android and Apple app stores for people to download. How do I do this in Flash Builder? (I'm assuming that's what I'm supposed to use?)
I've never used the program, so not sure how to go about having the app use the mobile website (as in, there are no functions being built in Flex...just using the Internet).

Well Flash Builder and AIR are meant to create mobile apps using AS3 and Flex and such. If you want to package up an HTML site as an app I would look at something like PhoneGap instead.

Having problems logging into the apple apps

hi i have got an iphone 4 and i am trying to log in to buy some games i am putting my id and my password but it keeps saying the password is wrong. i have resetted my password several times but still wont allow me to log in. can anyone help me with this please

I lost my account somehow also. I had to create a new alias and start over fresh.
Don't know what happened. I tried to log in with my iPod Touch and it kept telling me that I had to create an account. So, I went back to my computer (which was still logged on with my id)and logged off and then tried to log back in....my account was gone.
So...here I am with a new account. LOL

LR purchase through Apple App Store, No available Upgrade to 4.2.

Yeah, after downloading the update from the adobe site 3 to 4 times.
I realized that I puchased LR through the APP store which doesn't allow for updates from the adobe website only the apple app store.
I will never purchase a third party app from the app store again.
apple and adobe should send out update at the same time.

I would go back to apple. Go tothe same one and try to get the same guy who helped you last time. They will understand that this is the second time and know what happened last time.

Now even Apple is getting into Android apps, but alas, no plans for Windows Phones. I understand myself, that maybe WP isn't the most widely used platform. I also understand that some customers have issues with untimely updates. One could see why lack of support would lead to further lack of support. Still though, I personally wish there was some way for WP to rise above its own ashes and become more relevant, implemented, or at least more understood. Kindle App Store has an app names Child's Place. It lets you add only the apps you want your child to access and requires a passcode to exit it. That way your child cannot access any other content except what you have allowed in this particular app. Does anyone know if Apple App store has anything comparable? I know you can set up restrictions in settings but this is different.

Sorry but no, that is not possible in iOS. Other than what is offered in the Restrictions, there is no way to lock apps in general unless the app itself has a password feature. You can in iOS 6 lock the iPad into a single app, but that's your only option.
It's a tradeoff; apps can't affect each other except in very restrictive ways in iOS which makes such features from third parties impossible, but it also renders getting malware infecting your iOS device extremely unlikely, something not the case with Android-based devices.

My first app in Apple app store & Android Market...

I've been building a large multiscreen app in Air for boating that's quite involved - it's been about 2 years in development. I realized that I had no experience getting apps into the varous app stores so I made a small app and released it to the Apple app store and Android Market. It was accepted in both places within two days.
When you drop an anchor on a boat for an overnight stay, it's very useful to know that the anchor isn't dragging along the sea floor. If it is, it's a bad thing. It needs immediate attention before you end up grounded, tipped over ashore, or worse. Many navigation systems have an anchor alarm but they are often at the helm and away from the sleeping areas. As with most things, your anchor is most apt to drag in the middle of the night when you're asleep since that is the worst possible time it could happen.
DragQueen is an anchor alarm that detects if your anchor is dragging. Running on your phone or tab, it can be seated right next to you while you sleep. If it detects any dragging, an alarm goes off and wakes you since there's almost no question you'll hear it.
Amazingly there have been 3,000 iOS downloads and yet only 400 Android ones. It has 12 reviews on iOS with eleven 5-star ratings and one 4-star. Strangely on Android it has two ratings, a 1- and a 3-star. It doesn't freeze - I fear there is some game playing in the Android world. I have not asked anyone to put up a fake review on iOS. I've gotten dozens of emails of people actually using it on their boat including a couple of people who had the alarm go off and now owe me a beer.
DragQueen is free on both platforms. It was a great learning experience. It took much more time to get it into the stores than to write it (maybe 10 hours of development time versus at least 2 full days learning about the signing, submission process, store processing). I did uncover a bug in Air/Android - you can't detect a deactivate when there is a geolocation update loop in process. As a result, you can't turn off the GPS when the user switches out of your app. I submitted the bug in bugbase but there hasn't been any action on it yet.

I have all but given up on the android store, the mindset on there is to never pay for anything. "All apps should be free" is the general mentality of an android market user. At first I thought it was just the attitude of an android user but after having decent success on the Amazon App Store and great success on the NOOK store I just think its the market and the no review system, its hard to get noticed with all the junk apps floating around and all the users expecting everything to be free.
As a side question to the original poster or anyone to whom this may pertain, why do people make quality, ad free apps? I dont get it, whats in it for them other than good vibes from the users? I understand free ad powered apps, and free lite apps but I can never figure out why people will use their talents and time to make an app thats totally free and has no ads? Anyone?

It's real easy to create a new one and, in fact, it's too easy. I say that because multiple IDs are a PIA. The problem is that anything obtained from the iTunes Store is PERMANENTLY associated with the ID that was used to obtain the item(s). iTunes items can not be transferred from one ID to another and IDs can not be merged.
The problem arises when you want to update an app. If you're doing it from iTunes on your computer, you must log out and back in to get to the correct ID. Then you update and log out/in again to get back to where you started. It's slightly easier if you update from the iPad/iPod device as there is no need to log out/in BUT you still need the correct password for the appropriate ID. Of course, with a disabled ID, the problem is much worse!
A replacement Apple ID makes sense ONLY if you wish to start out absolutely brand new with zero iTunes Store purchases.
If you're really butting your head aginst a wall and you're reasonably close to an Apple Store, my suggestion is that you make an appointment with the resident "Genius" and get his/her help.
One last thought... If your brother actually got a human on the phone to dispute the charges, go there and explain the problem. Of course, if Apple did not accept his explanation of what occurred, that could be the whole issue. Apple believes that money is owed on the account!

Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.
Sometimes it even seems that the problem was solved, but my joy did not last long after I celebrate all the problems return, is incredible ...

It is not possible to merge Apple IDs.

At some points it's a vicious circle because it asks for a password at key times when trying to correct the problem. Note that the new email address shows when I log into my Apple account and shows it was verified. For some reason the system isn't updating to the new email in ALL places.

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.
