Making an AE CS4 project compatible with AE CS3

Hi,
Is there a way to save a CS4 project so it can be opened with AE CS3?
Thanks!
Pau

No, not at all. The only thing you could do is to copy&paste items from CS4 back to CS3, if it's important. It will however only work on a 64bit operating system, as normal 32bit OSs will not allow to launch two instances of After Effects.

  • Encore CS4 not compatible with Windows 7 [32] ?!

just reinstalled Windows 7 [32 - ultimate] and Adobe CS4 Master Collection and I get this error message each time I try to start Encore: "Encore is not compatible with this version of Windows" I had it installed before, worked perfect, till now. when I force it to start it goes only till Import as asset, then it freezes, shows a blue screen, then the computer restarts. any suggestions?

    Hi,
As you mentioned that you are using Encore CS4 on win 7. There was an issue with Encore CS4 being used on win 7.
There might be the case that the pxhelp is not compatible with win 7 (64 bit)
    Install latest pxhelp from -
    http://kb.roxio.com/search.aspx?URL=/content/kb/General%20Information/ 000070GN&PARAMS=
This has solved the problem of lot of people. I hope it works for you also.
Let me know if it solves your problem.
En CS5 and 5.1 are shipped with the correct version of pxhelp engine.
    Thanks,
    Ramesh.

Where? Surely you are misinterpreting that - it has Spry
    menus built in,
but a much better choice even than those exists.

  • Making The Weblogic Portal Pages compatible with Mobile Browsers

    Hi All,
Is there any option available to make Weblogic Portal Pages compatible with Mobile Browsers & IPad Browsers.
    Thanks,
    Venkat sarvabatla

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
No, you don't need Office installed. That's the whole idea. Go to File > Export & choose Word (or text, rtf or pdf). The option to "save as" Word has been added in Pages 4/iWork '09 as well as in export.

  • Keynote swfs not compatible with Flash cs3 As3

I have flash timeline controls now written in AS3 but when I export swf from keynote I get a conflict- looks like keynote swf exports in as2 only. Is there anyway to change the keynote preference? Anyone know of other converters to produce swfs compatible with AS3?

Have you tried visualhub. It is a very versatile format transformer.

  • Making the Webcenter ADF pages compatible with Mobile browser

    Hi,
I'm trying to make the already developed ADF pages compatible to Mobile Browser (like blackberry etc).
I have tried with the way what oracle ADF specification says like have to create a Fusion proj then have to add a new project into that and develope the mobile browser pages. In this way, it is working absolutely fine. But the problem is, i have already developed an application which uses lot of web center stuff and we have created so many pages in the application. Making this pages compatible to Mobile browser will take hell of effort.
Is there anyway that these pages can be made compatible to mobile browser (like blackberry etc).
Suggestions and Help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mahipal
    Thanks,
    Mahipal

    Hi Wiebke,
You need to change the property Supported User Agents for all objects you need to access with MS Mobile IE. The procedure is the same as enabling your portal to be indexed by Web Search Engines for external facing portals, which is described here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/44/ccf6bf687f3b9ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm.
This will technically allow all browsers to access the portal. Note that SAP does not support them, and especially in the case of mobile browsers, you may have issues regarding screen size and scripts (maybe fix this by creating a custom framework page+custom navigation iviews?).

    Johan

  • Is Flash CS4 not compatible with Intel Graphics (laptop)? Really?

    Hi!
I'm graphic and animation designer. My company buys CS4 suite
including Photoshop & Flash. And I'm buying a laptop and now
choosing between one having Intel Graphics and another with ATI
Radeon. Intel has some features I need, but after googling, finding
    and reading this topic:
    http://www.adobeforums.com/webx?14@@.59b6c473/0
till the end, I see it does not fully support Photoshop
CS4!!! I also need Flash CS4 working, so does it support Flash?
So can you still recommend me buying intel integrated-laptop
or should I take an ATI Radeon powered one? I need Flash working
without annoying compatibilites problems. I don't want to buy an
Intel one, if it is not Photoshop- and Flash- compatible....
    Thank you!

    Anne,

    > it support Flash?
It's important you understand what "fully support" means in
    this
context. According to Eric Palmer's Dec 4 reply (12:11pm),
    Photoshop CS4
does, in fact, run reliably on systems with Intel graphics.
    Eric purports
to be an Intel employee, but obviously there's no proof of
    that.
Regardless, his assertion jibes with with I hear from
    colleagues with Intel
    graphics chips.
It's not as if Photoshop suddenly fails if you happen to
    choose, say,
red from the color swatches. It's not as if Photoshop fails
    to export GIFs
on Intel machines. The only thing you're missing -- and this
    is true for me
too, even though I don't have Intel equipment -- is
    functionality that
relies on OpenGL. One of these features, for example, lets
    you rotate the
canvas while you work on a file. I don't mean rotate the
    image itself ... I
mean rotate the actual work space without resampling the
    image, just as if
you were rotating the piece of paper on which you were
    drawing. Granted,
that sounds like a neat feature (I'd like to experiment with
    it, myself!),
    but it's not a deal-breaker.
As far as I've seen, the Flash CS4 authoring tool doesn't
    rely on any
    OpenGL-accelerated features.

  • Indesign_ cs4 &  photoshop_cs5 compatible with Windows 7 64-bit OS?

Am buying a new computer, probably a Lenovo with Windows 7 64-bit OS.  Want to know if I will be able to use  indesign_ cs4 &  photoshop_cs5 on it. They were originally installed on Windows XP.

Shouldn't be a problem but you should be aware that if you upgrade to CS5.5 now you'll get a free upgrade to CS6 when it ships.

  • RH6 projects compatible with RH4?

I have a client for whom I am building a Help Guide, and they
want the RH project file, not just the published file. They are
adamant about not upgrading to the latest version of RH, and have
version 4. If I give them the project from 6, will they be able to
open it and make changes from RH4?

Hi mcardle418 and welcome to the RH forums. Two things.
Firstly RH has changed considerarbly from version 4 to where
it is today. One of those changes is that the main project file
went from a MPJ file to an XPJ file. Opening a project from the MPJ
file when it was created using an XPJ file can be done but there
    are implications. Click
    here
    for a list of these.
Secondly you are limiting what you can do with your help
project. If you use a feature implementing in a later version, they
will not be able to change it. Indeed they may even have problems
    trying to open the project.

  • Cs4 files compatible with cs3?

I'm the graphic designer, others do PHP, ASP, etc. If I
upgrade to CS4, will my associates have difficulty working with my
sites and/or files if they stay with CS3?
    Thanks,
    Karen

I don't think so. It would be prudent to backup your site
    definitions, and
any custom snippets, but other than that, I think it's a
    smooth upgrade.

  • Preview mode Dreamweaver CS3/CS4 not compatible with Firefox 3.6.8

I found a post about this issue, which was marked 'solved', but it isn't! To use Firebug, I had to upgrade Firefox and since I did, I can't use the 'preview' function in Dreamweaver (It works only once, when Firefox is closed, but I don't like to close and re-open Firefox every time I want to preview a page). Downgrading is not an option, as I can't use Firebug and I really not think Adobe has to solve a problem caused by Firebox, as suggested in the previous post.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened

There is a fix available for Dreamweaver, so it works in Firefox 3.6+ versions:
    http://solutions.marketingmedley.com/
There is a $5.00 fee for that Dreamweaver fix. That website and the fix are not associated with Mozilla in any manner. Support for that fix is provided by that that website via email.

  • Are Logic projects compatible with later versions of Apple Logic?

I am using Apple Logic Express 7 and I love it. I kind of want to use it for the rest of my entire life but I want to know...if I was to get a more up-to-date copy of Logic, would I be a blind man in the dark when using it? I don't even see how you can anyway improve Apple Logic Express 7. Can I please have your thoughts on this?

logic 6 iso files work with 7. but i haven't used logic 8 yet so i'm not sure about 7 files working with 8.
logic 7 express becomes a bit limited after a while. < like not having the sidechain feature on the compressor!!!
i'm just itching to upgrade to the pro-version. but i might just wait until i can afford a new imac and get logic 8 instead as i can't upgrade my i book further.
and i'm experiencing performance issues atm with express
