Making blog available externally?

Hi
I've just bought a MacMini server & have got most of the bits & pieces I need up and running without any hassle, however I want to make a blog available externally..
I know that the user files are stored in /library/collaboration but when I point it to the user account in there, I am offered an index page with options to go to mail etc & the blog. Is there a way I can point directly to the blog?

If you have no control over that external swf there probably is not much
you can do outside of opening it in a separate browser window so that the
window can be closed and your original page is still showing in its
browser window..

I compose an iMessage with the destination as my email address and I attach 2 photos I want on my PC. I send them several times from my iPhone 5C but they never arrive. I look at my ipad later and realize that it's iMessage app is getting ( and swallowing) these emails. I then turn the ipad off. Still can't get the photos through because iphone is now getting them on it's iMessage. I turn off the iMessage feature and try to send photos from text msging. Phone tells me it can't send photos unless iMessage it turned on. What happened to regular MMS text messaging? I go and try to send photos as an email attachment and see that there is no option to attach from the stupid email program. I look up online to learn about the brave new world of apple attachments and send them.

The email program on my iphone is not configured to remove messages from the server.
If iMessage is turned off I don't have the issue.

Did not work. I've selected iMessage to ON and left it. After a few hours I recieved a message "activation unsuccessful. Turn on iMessage to try again". This has been going on for the past 3 days.

I share a an apple id with my kids. We all use the same credit card for purchases. Is it possible for only me to use the icloud online storage without making this available or visible to the kids?

My kids and I all use the same credit card and password for app and music purchases. I'm assuming we all use the same apple ID too. (not sure) We can share apps and music although we all have our own itunes libraries. Any blog avail. as guideline for Designing n arranging UI Elements

Hi,
    Any Blog available as recommendations to design a page and arranging UI elements and which property of the UI element should used under a scenario.
Because, some times its difficult to arrange UI elements in a position what we like.
for example I like to arrange a button UI element at the center of the view, with Matrix layout. I tried few things, but I unable to move it.

Hi Sam,
    In your case you can try using transparent container. Use transparent container UI element and make it grid layout. Then put your buttons inside transparent container. I have done the same in my project.
   As per my experience we need to do trial and error to get UI elements in place.
It is difficult initially but once you are used to then you can get it. I tried using groups, transparent container etc. to get UI elements properly.

Making a new external drive available for Time Machine over wireless network

I connected a new Seagate 2T external drive to my iMac to increase backup capacity using Time Machine. I have a 1T Time Capsule. I am backing up to the Time Capsule wirelessly to another Mac in the house.
The Time Capsule is full.
How do I make the new Seagate available to be used for wireless backup? It does not show on the other Mac as being available in Time Machine?

Doubt in Making IDOC as External Def

Hi,
I have imported the IDOC From R/3 to XI ( IR ).
If i changed the Occurence of one segment say 0unbounded to 01 by exporting the IDOC into notepad and imported as External def.
Q1) Is ther any problem that having the 0--unbounded occurence at R/3 side and 0-1 occurence at IDOC structure in XI.
Q2) While Trigering the IDOC values from R/3 we may provide multiple lineitems but we have changed the structure to 0...1.How this will handle

Internal blog vs external blog

Does having an external blog like Tumblr coded into Muse a big negative?
I want to start a blog and of course have it on my Muse site but I had a SEO company tell me that it is defeating to not have a muse hosted blog so I should rebuild my site using WordPress and have the internal blog and get rid of Muse.
I got the tumblr code to work in Muse very well and I don't see a problem but I guess I'm looking for better feedback about this idea from the Muse community. I hope this makes sense what I'm asking.

Making app availabe externally (Error ERR-7620 Could not determine ...)

For the past couple years we've been running 10g and htmldb/apex, but have only been concerned with LAN access. We now have a need to page an app available to the world, but are having trouble doing so. We've opened up 80 (and tried the default 7778 as well) on the firewall. From outside we can reach apache, but /pls/apex/f?p=xxx fails with the following:
Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner.
Error ERR-7620 Could not determine workspace for application (401).
I figure I must have missed something in the configuration, but I don't know what.
Is there something not set in the default configuration for apex3 that prevents the /pls/apex path from not working for requests from outside? Or is it trying to use the internal hostname for something and thus not allowing it to be reachable?
I saw the error listed in a number of threads but none of the cases seemed to be applicable..
Any info would be great, thanks.

Hi Chris,
I had the same problem the other day too. Are you using an application alias name of the application id?
Because you get that error message when the application id or alias name for the application doesn't exist on that APEX instance.
Check also out if you haven't configured a wrong database in your DAD.conf, that would also explain why the application id might not work.
Have you tried to go to the developer login page to run the application from the Oracle APEX Builder?

Making IWork available to multiple users on the same Mac

I've downloaded IWork. it's available under my user name but not the other users on the same computer. how do i make it available to them as well?

Did the iWork '09 folder get installed in HD > Applications or in HD > Users > (your account) > Applications? For the iWork applications to be available to all users they must be installed in the main Applications folder. I think if you were not logged in as an administrator for the installation they would only be installed in your Applications folder. You will need to reinstall while logged in as an administrator to have the applications installed where they will be available for all users.

Making a loaded external image into a button in Actionscript

I have a flash web site that I am putting together. I am using AS to load some images from an external source. These images are being loaded into a movieclip. These images need to become buttons once they are loaded. The images will link to the particular menu category pages beef, chicken, etc.
The images are loading fine they just are not responding like a button or link.
I am getting two error referencing the buttonMode and usehandCursor. Below is just one image that I am working on till I get it to work.
I am getting these two Compiler error code:

Making user available in db trigger

Hi
I have a requirement to make the current user available in a database trigger. Is there any way to do this?
I am currently using ADF 11.1.1.1.1 deploying to a Weblogic server 10.3.1. There are no users/groups setup on Weblogic.

One more piece of information. The ADF application uses the same DB user to insert/update information on the database.

Making users available for OpenSSO realm group and role assignment?? Help.

Here is the situation. We have 3 Open SSO realms set up. One we have called OpenSSO-Admin, a second called OpenSSO-Provider and a third OpenSSO-Internal. We are having issues provisioning and managing the OpenSSO-Internal OpenSSO-Provider realms, but OpenSSO-Admin seems to be fine.
Here is the behavior that is manifest.
In the 2 'broken' realms, when we create users and assign them to the appropriate Open SSO realm, they appear to be provisioned correctly in IDM as well as the realm (We have validated user creation in LDAP and everything about the user appears to be fine). When we view the groups and roles in the specific resources, we are presented with a list of users that are in Brackets and appear to be provisioned. The brackets indicate that the users are not found as available users. The bracketed users can not be unassigned, nor can any others. note, our bracketed users in the list of assigned users are created from a workflow which assigns them directly to the appropriate group and role based on their business role.
The third realm, OpenSSO-Admin works fine and we can add, and manage users in the groups and roles within the realm.
We have ruled out the workflow as a source as the problem persists when we use the tool to manage users. We can create a user from scratch and add them to the realms. In the 'Broken' relms, the users do not appear in thelist of available users to be assigned to the groups or roles. Yet in the 'good realm, everything appears fine. We can move users from one realm to another and the problem persists in the broken realms, but when a user is added to the 'good' realm, everything is fine.
I have tried reconciling and get no different results.
Question is, We have isolated that the issue seems to be in the generation / management of the left hand "Available Users" list. How and where is this generated from and how can we check/fix or regenerate this list?

Making class available to bootstrap loader? interesting twist.......

We're deploying our jar wrapped in an exe (created by exe4j). It's not an option to unwrap the jar, but I want to make a particular class available to the bootstrap loader. If you're not familiar with exe4j, you can pass arguments to the jvm, so I can pass an -Xbootclasspath argument, but I have no idea how that works when the class is in a package in a jar in an exe. I've tried to pass arguments like -Xbootclasspath/a:com.organization.project.package.MyClass and of course it didn't work. Note that what I'm doing is security policy related, and I'd really prefer not to have this class outside of the wrapped jar.
Is what I want to do actually possible? If so, what am I doing wrong?

About showing more code, I wouldn't know which part to show : several classes are involved already, each of them weighing a couple hundred lines. That's why I prefer explaining rather than dropping unrevealing code snippets. :-x
If from this description you know what piece of code interests you, I'll post it asap. Until then, here goes a shorter explanation of the situation.
My custom ClassLoader loads .class entries from jar files using the java.util.jar package. I define those classes using defineClass(String name, byte[] b, int off, int len). At the same time entries from the jar file get processed, I list the classes which could or couldn't be loaded. The second list being empty once the jar is processed proved me the classes are well-loaded.
Then I seek through the list of loaded ones for classes implementing AIPlayer, Player or other interfaces. My problem is that the classes implementing AIPlayer (c in my previous example) can't get assigned to AIPlayer though they can get assigned to Player, Player being a super-interface of AIPlayer.
Additionnal information are : Player and AIPlayer are loaded by the bootstrap ClassLoader, the bootstrap ClassLoader being the parent of my custom ClassLoader's instance at some degree (it is either the parent or the parent of the parent).
My question is : why can not a class implementing AIPlayer (and thus, Player) be assigned to AIPlayer, though it can be assigned to Player ?
