Making duplicate drive for another editor

I have a project with media spread across two external drives.
I want to copy the project(media) to one tb drive for back up
and for another editor. When I did this and reconnected the
media fcp warns of media in and out point changes.
All I want to do is copy the media to the new drive?
Any suggestions of the best way to make a back-up?

If I'm not mistaken, the prompt is likely referring to 'in/out' points that have changed during editing...that differ from the original captured Media Start/End points.
You should be fine just copying all files to the new drive. This would include project file(s), captured timecoded media, any 'created' clips (exports and such) and all non-timecoded media (graphics, music...etc.)
You could use Media Manager for this, but make sure you fully understand the process. I've not used it much, so won't advise. Others here have more experience using Media Manager.
Either way you go, make sure you've worked out a file naming/placing convention with the other editor.

Need to find printer driver for OS 9.0.4 for Epson Stylus NX415

Here's my problem:
I have an old strawberry-colored original iMac, running OS 9.0.4.
I also have an Epson Stylus NX415 all-in-one printer.
But -- the iMac does not recognize the printer.
In order for this printer to connect to this Mac, I need to have a "printer driver" extension that I can install (and then restart), so that the printer appears in the "Chooser" window, so I can select it there.
I'd need either a printer driver specific to the NX415, or some kind of generic Epson printer driver compatible with this specific model.
But here's the problem: I think the NX415 was first manufactured AFTER OSX was introduced, so it could be that Epson never even bothered to make a printer driver for OS 9 for the NX415.
Help!
I've scoured the Internet and legacy sites that specialize in old OS 9 software, and also scoured Epson's site, and could not find any appropriate printer drivers in any of those places.
Any suggestions, or specific links to where I can download such a driver?
Or is it the case that this printer simply physically will NEVER work with this model of Mac, and I should just give up?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A good guess would be that you are right in that an NX415 driver for Mac OS 9 was not made because of the fact that the printer is much newer than the operating system. It is probably going to be difficult to find a Mac OS 9 driver for another model that will allow any or all parts of the all-in-one printer in question to work properly. However, if you wish to carry out experiments, the Mac OS 8/9 drivers on the Epson support page for CX3200 may be as close as you can get.
Perhaps someone else has a better idea.

I went to manually find an update for my driver because of this:
reason for searching for driver -> when I play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, when people talk through their microphone on the multiplayer of that game, all i hear is blurry/laggy sound and can hardly make out what they are saying. This happens whenever anyone with a mic on that game talks so it has to be me since alot of people say they hear each other just fine.
Now I went to find the driver and when i got to audigo it didn't show the next part which is audio, it had stuff like audigy LS etc. but no plain audio.
Should I be looking for a driver for another soundblaster or something? help please

You can check which exact model (SB0xxxy) you have by looking what's printed on card.
I suppose if you download drivers intended to Platinum you get your drivers updated (If you do not have Audigy LS (SB032). It has it's own drivers).

Is there somthing like a plain SCPI instrument driver for LabWindows/CVI
that works with all SCPI-DMMs ?

Manfred,
You could look for a driver for another Keithly model or try one for a
different brand. They may be similar enough to modify easily. I realize this
goes against the idea of SCPI and standards but it is the best we have now.

Is there a Windows 8 driver for HP DesignJet 750c?

I have an old DesignJet 750c printer/plotter that has been running as a network printer connected via Ethernet. It is running perfectly under Windows 7... I used the XP 64-bit driver with no problem at all. But I cannot load the same XP 64-bit driver under Windows 8 on another system... I get a 'driver not signed' error and the driver will not load. I notice that there are Windows 8 drivers for a host of other old HP printers and plotters, but apparently not for this one.... and yes, I did check 'Windows Update' for additional drivers.
Can I bypass the 'driver not signed' error somehow? Does anyone know of a driver for another piece of equipment that will work with my 750c? What is the solution for this?

I have the same printer and I'm using Lion 10.7.4.
I'm facing problems getting the mac to print via wireless.
I've installed the driver from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL904 as suggested by sig.
I've linked up the printer to the router via usb. It works like a charm with usb on Lion and wireless on windows.

iPhoto doesn't scan anywhere. It imports files offered to it. If it spots a duplicate it will warn you.

(I tried to just write this as a reply to someone who had already asked the question whos problem was magically solved after posting the question and the site was not allowing me to post to it so here I am)

Additionally, when I try to sort the photos by date to easily extract the newest photos which I have not yet uploaded, it is unable to put them in correct order regardless of the fact that the date is correct. Only the videos end up in chronological order for some reason while the photos stay in order by name.

I'm having similar problems with an HP OfficeJet 6500. One suggestion that improved the situation, but did not totally solve the problem, was to select "OfficeJet Pro L7700" for its drivers.
One other suggestion is to turn off the printer, then simultaneously hold down the "#" and "9" keys and turn the printer back on. This hot key seems to reset the printer to factory defaults, allowing you to set things up anew.
Finally, kvetch to HP. Their networking software clearly has problems in its relationship to OSX, but nobody on either side seems motivated to bring in a good therapist.

Thanks ,,A lot of installations reserve the C: partition for the os only, placing any installed products (like, say, Oracle) on another partition - Even if that other partition is on the same physical drive. This is done for management, not performance.

Sure you can. The real question is, can you transfer your old TM database to the new drive. This I would not attempt to do. I would add the new drive and point time machine to it in system preferences. This will cause you to do a full backup for the first time but you will know all the links are good this way. Before you remove the old TM drive, think if there is anything you want to restore.
My steps would be:
1) look through time machine to find anything you may want to keep, restore it if you want it
2) turn off time machine
3) power down and swap drives
4) power up and and format the new drive if needed, then open time machine preferences
5) select the new drive for time machine
6) sit back and let it do a full backup
How big is your internal drive? How full is it? How big is the new TM drive?
