Making/editing a .sqpreset file to need

I'm using gopro Hero2, and elements 10.
Previously I have edited a suiteable .sqpreset file to fit my needs, but now I'm filming in 48 fps in stead of 29,7 (using NTSC here, al though I'm in europe).
there is one line in the file witch could fix it up, if I were to understand the format.
I've edited a Flip Mino HD and Ultra HD 29_97p.sqpreset file, and the line I'm refering to is this:

Can anybody tell me what 48 fps is in this 'code'?

Adobe does not use a frame rate of 48 frames per second as far as I have ever come across for Premiere Elements (any version). So I see no opportunity for you to borrow that information from existing file documents.
I may be wrong but I do not see Adobe developers sharing that code type information as public information for proprietary reasons.
Have you contacted Adobe about this matter.

Need to edit a Captivate file that won't open. Can the SWF be edited?

We are currently using Adobe eLearning Suite 2 (Cp5).
We have 2 older Captivate files (Cp 3 or 4) that will not open; they act like they're opening but eventually they just time out without the error message that you normally get with a corrupt file.
So all we have access to are the SWFs & zip files that were uploaded into our LMS.
We are switching to a different LMS and need to quickly make an edit to these files before they are uploaded to the new LMS.
Is it possible to edit the SWF (delete about 30 seconds of content off the end of each file) and still have them function as far as registering completion? And if so, what program would I need?

Sorry, but only Adobe can speculate as to why the older files refuse to open in the newer version. Phase of the moon? Jupiter aligning with Mars while the house of the Moon is in retrograde?
Personally, I'm going with the Mass Coronal Ejection theory!
Assuming there is really no interaction going on, you *MIGHT* be able to fudge things to get that last 30 seconds to go away by playing the SWF and using Captivate to record the SWF as it plays.

Try updating iTunes on your PC. Hopefully it'll re-install or fix the Bonjour issue.

PDF is an end destination format - although Acrobat is capable of making minor changes to a file (e.g. to correct typos) it is not a word processor or DTP application. Major changes must be done in the original document, and the PDF file re-exported.
You can copy text from a file by selecting it and right-clicking, or you can save the file as plain or formatted text. To make small changes to the text on a page, use the touchup tool - see the help file for more info.

Making edits to iTunes 'get info'

I would like to know how I can go about making edits to my album info on the iMac (ie. genres, title, year, album art, etc) and they can actually stay permanently - when I do the edits - they stay for a bit and then a few days will go by and then they are back to the original settings - so, I ask, how do I make the changes in the 'get info' tab permanently

Yes, others are seeing this. Something in purchased media (I am pretty sure this has only happened with purchased media) is periodically checking back with the iTunes Store and resetting the tags in the iTunes library file but not in the actual media files (metadata are stored in both). I haven't seen a truly systematic diagnosis of the issue (I use an old iTunes and have no iTunes account so I can't test anything myself). There are temporary workarounds but tags will still revert after a time.

Workaround is to refresh tags so media file tags are re-read and used in library file.

I Trying to deploy a simple J2SE app by making an Executable JAR File, however I don'r understand how to add a valid value to the Main Class field.
I followed the following description within Jdev, after creating a Deployment Profile:
Deploying an Executable JAR File
You can make your simple archive or J2EE Client Module into an executable JAR file that you can launch with the java command.
To deploy an executable JAR file:
1) Select and right-click the simple archive or client icon in the Navigator to display the context menu.
2) Choose Properties.
3) Click JAR Options in the tree.
4) Select Include Manifest File (META-INF/MANIFEST.MF).
5) In the Main Class field, enter the fully qualified name of the application class that is to be invoked.
7) Click OK.
8) Launch the executable JAR file from the command line:
java -jar myapp.jar
where myapp represents your JAR file name.

Yes that was the problem so I have changed the element mainClass to
<mainClass>xxPlotPrint.MHCI.PlotPrintClient</mainClass>
But now another probem has occured, since I get the following error when run the jar-file (When I run the app from within Jdev there are no warnings or errors).

It's the same problem in all three exceptions (the exactly the same code), however I was a bit to quick this is the line (the line before I process the xml doc :-)

In R12 which file we need to modify as there is no jserv.properties

In 11i we used to set some proxy settings like proxy host, proxy port etc... where as in R12 there will be no jserv.properties.. so where and which file we need to set these settings.

in R12 all the JVM parameters can be changed in $ORA_CONFIG_HOME/10.1.3/opmn/conf/opmn.xml
But if you are talking about proxy and the rest then please check in $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/oc4j.properties

How can I edit a QTVR file and keep it as a QTVR file after editing. I just need to crop the size of the rotating 3D object.

How To Edit a .pdf file - Please Help!

When I Googled the above question, I was told to download the Adobe Acrobat XI.
I tried downloading the trial version. I was then told to download the Creative Cloud to be able to download Acrobat XI.
I downloaded Creative Cloud, then I was taken to the Adobe Applications Manager Page which show a bunch of apps to download.
I don't know which app I will need for the editing. I was looking for Acrobat XI, but it's not showing anywhere.
I tried downloading Photoshop. This took more than 2 hours. After the download was complete, I tried launching it, but nothing happened.
I went back & double-checked the instructions, & I'm directed & got stumped at the Applications Manager page once more.
I find this very frustrating. I wish it were not this complicated.
I just want to edit a .pdf file, and nothing else. I'm not sure if I want to go through all these maze, or just use FIVVER, pay $5.00 & AVOID all these hassles.@nikoledeon.

Error when running reports: "File Server needs to be re-initialized"

This error "File Server needs to be re-initialized" appears when our users try to run reports on 11.5.10. EBS.
There is also a message box that appears and reads:
"A error occurred while attempting to establish a conection to Application File Server. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener may not be running."
This is a problem in our test environment. We recently ran autoconfig on the test side.
I have checked Metalink and also wider google search.
Perhaps we have an issue with the tnsnames files? Well, I verified this and the tnsnames in production and test, and they are the same.
Perhaps a listener.ora file issue?
"The issue is caused by the variables APPLFSTT and APPLFSWD is not being set properly in the <8.0.6_ORACLE_HOME> listener.ora file. " (Note 263654.1)

Yes thanks for that. Metalink has informed me to do the same, basically.
But I am in the middle of a cloning, so I will finish that then run autoconfig once again.
I already ran Autoconfig on both source and target, so will do again once this process is over.

I just downloaded the Adobe Acrobat 30-day free trial, which comes up as "Adobe Assistant" on my machine, and I've been trying to use it for editing a .pdf file, but it doesn't do anything but want to download an entire folder of documents. I don't want it to do that, but can't seem to do anything else. When I load Acrobat separately from a .pdf I already have saved, (even logging in to Acrobat), and try editing the .pdf document, it keeps launching to the website page saying that it needs to be paid for to use. I'm confused. How can I try the editor to see if I like it? Isn't it all one program or is the Assistant different from the Editor?

I may be wrong, but I think you are not using Adobe Acrobat at all. It sounds as if you are still running Adobe Reader, for some reason, rather than Adobe Acrobat, which looks similar but has many more options. If you are not sure, tell us what you see under TOOLS - main headings - or look at the title bar.

How to find and edit an .htaccess file?

I trying to set up a podcast/blog in WordPress, and I need to edit an .htaccess file.
I use Fetch as my FTP client to access my web site's hosting account, and I can see that there's an .htaccess file there. I need to get it and add a couple lines of code to it to do a URL redirect.
When I use Fetch to "Get" it, it appears to download okay, but then I can't see it on my desktop or doing a search. I just downloaded EasyFind, on the advice given in another thread, but now I'm wondering, even if I can find the thing, whether I'm going to be able to edit it.
Anybody got experience with this?

After I posted my inquiry, I solved the problem. Here it is, step-by-step, for somebody wanting a simple solution:
1. Download EasyFind from this location: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/11706
2. Launch EasyFind; make sure the option to show hidden files is checked on; and then search for .htaccess. It should show up in a list of all hidden files in wherever you're looking (Desktop or wherever).
3. I double-clicked on .htaccess in EasyFind, and this opened the file in TextEdit. I edited the .htaccess file by adding the command info I needed (in my case, a redirect command). Then I did a simple "Save" command (not Save As...). This saved the edited version as .htaccess (hidden).
4. I launched Fetch, and clicked "Put." In the Put dialog box, there's an option to show hidden files. When I checked that on, there was .htaccess, visible in the list. I selected that and FTPed it to my web server account.
5. I tested the redirect, and it worked like a charm!

To open & Edit the XLS file in edit mode after Extracting SAP data into it

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement to open and edit the xls file imidiately after downlaoding the SAP data into this XLS file. The XLS file is getting saved on presentation server (e.g. Destop/C: drive).
I have used function module "GUI_DOWNLOAD" OR "DOWNLAOD" to download the data from SAP table to XLS file. But now I need this XLS file to be get opned automatically after finishing the Download, so that user can make changes into XLS file and can save the changes into it. After saving I have to upload this modified Data into SAP table again.
For this I am really not aware how to get it done..but I believe you experts will definately help me out..waiting for your reply.
