Making my defined home page stick and stay at every launch of firefox

I followed the help topic for defining my home page and everytime I quit and relaunch firefox, my defined home page has not been saved and I get this page instead : http://www.searchqu.com/.

I want to restore my home page the way it was before I downloaded Firefox 4 which destroyed my home page features (news, currency converter, horoscope, weather etc.) so I deleted Firefox 4 and re-installed Firefox 3.6.17.

The look of my home page was perfect with Firefox 3.6.17. I had a strip of whales breaching around the Google logo. Underneath I had all kinds of wonderful things (I forget what they're called) on the page which was divided into sections: weather, CNN, Reuters, currency converter, Rick Levine's daily horoscope, health tip of the day etc. I promptly removed FF4 because my home page was totally ruined and I can't figure out how to restore all these wonderful easy features. Could you kindly help me or has FF totally changed the entire home page layout and I shall never be able to restore them. I have saved a copy of my Profile on my USB stick. I, too had my book marks disappear when I upgraded to FF 4.0
I am now back and enjoying FF 3.6.17 (my original) yet I am still
without my book marks and am floundering trying to recoup.
Any help appreciated. If unable to see my book marks in the near
future I will definitely jump ship. It's too bad that FF people have
created this problem. I am mystified and disgusted with their actions.

My home page will not stay saved,it keeps going back to the firefox default page

After I've saved my home page(yahoo.com)there will be no problem until my laptop either is turned off or restarted. After I turn on my laptop when I connect to the internet, my home page is changed from yahoo.com to the firefox default almost like if I just updated firefox.And I'm getting tired of having to change my home page back every time I turn my laptop on.

Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 SP3, Firefox 3.6.11, Zonealarm 8.0.400.020. This started 3 days ago. I thought it might be cured by updating to Firefox 3.6.11 but no such luck. I am able to click on the home page icon and return to Google.

it wasnt listed at ALL on my toolbars, and when i originally open firefox, the first page is google. when id start a new tab however, this stupidness was there. i had to go into Control Panel->Internet Properties and change it there. Hope it helps you also :)

IPhone 6 Plus: home button sticking and making clicking noise

Hello everyone,
I bought an iPhone 6 plus 64GB Space Grey. I bought it about 2 months ago. Day by day the home button start to become noisy and sticky. Everytime I press the home button everyone in the room hear the sound very clear.
I brought it to an Apple Third Party store in my country. but the staff there seem not really care about my issue. They said unless the home button is completely broken. How could I do?
Day by day the sound become louder and louder. I really feel uncomfortable about this. And I just feel that my iPhone is going to be broken soon.
Note: my phone has official warranty from Apple.

I also have the 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey and after two display (includes Home Button) replacments and 1 full device replacement and I end up with this issue. My home button is LOUD and CLICKY every time I press to the point it feels plasticky...I will probably go into the Apple Store and demand a perfect (or at least close to perfect) full device replacement and inspect in front of the Genius to try to pinpoint any issues. If they do not comply, I'll just call Apple Care and set up an Express or Standard Replacement.
However, I do not suggest you do that. Last time I rubbed alcohol on my iPad mini 2's home button, it messed up the software and I got a replacement.

Firefox doesn't do email, so there are no "Firefox email accounts". If you are accessing "email" with Firefox, you are using web mail. Some web mail services don't allow for direct access, they want their users to access their email from a "portal" or "main" page and will re-direct any attempt to load an "internal" web site page back to the main page.
As far as loading 3 different web mail accounts at the same time, if they are in the same domain it won't work on Firefox without a Firefox addon. http://br.mozdev.org/multifox/
IOW, if those three email accounts all with Yahoo, without that add-on you would have to logon to each email account separately and log out of the first before logging into the 2nd. Then log out of the 2nd before logging into the 3rd. Firefox isn't capable of having multiple session cookies for simultaneous logon's to the same server. That add-on provides that "multiple sessions cookies" feature.

I unknowingly downloaded MyWebSearch and cannot unable it so I no longer have FireFox as my home page. What can I do to restore FireFox, I already redownloaded it with out success.

Home Page Structure and Components

We are facing some performance problems with the home page of our intranet (based on SAP EP5 SP6 - Migration to EP6 is starting) and we fair that the number of objects on the home page is dramatically impacting the load time.
We are interested to get the following informations for other companies :
o How many objects / components are loaded on the home page ?
o To have a printscreen of the homepage
o To have an overview of the laoding time (average) of the homepage.
In our situation we have about 100 objects on the homepage and the average response time is about 9 sec. I will post a printscreen soon.

When Firefox is closed, all previous search page and home page settings are not saved. Must reset firefox and reset homepage url everytime.

All previous search engines on "Manage Search Engines" are gone and cant access the "get more search engines"...all grayed out.

Session Manager and Save session are the ad-ons which can solve your problem of saving previous search pages and url.

When I change my Internet (proxy) and home page settings and then close and reopen Firefox, they are not saved. Why is this happening?

I am going under Tools and Options, then Advanced -> Network -> Settings and changing the automatic configuration script for my work network. When I hit OK everything works. But when I close out Firefox, and then reopen it at a later time, it does not save the setting change I made and I have to do it all over again. When I open up Mozilla Firefox the home page has been changed from "comcast.net" to "http://home.mywebsearch.com/index... Is this from Firefox? What happened to my homepage? What is this page, and how do I go back to the home page comcast.net? Who is "Mindspark" since it says it's the owner of the site when I click for more details. Yes, Jason, and I would like to assure you that for not being spyware, malware, etc., this thing sure acts like it. It phones home constantly and manages to still remain on my computer...even after deleting the app from my programs. I've had to resort to a very aggressive spyware removal application to get rid of your company's crap toolbar and the verdict is still out on whether it did the job. I rate applications on not just their usefulness but on the size of their footprint and how easy they are to remove if I don't want them. On a scale from 1-10, (10 being the best) MyWebSearch gets a negative 2.

Home page folders (and icons inside) missing and contents of folders inaccessible

Hello Everyone!
8820 Version 4.5 (AT&T Service)
My home page consisted of 5 folders where I organized all my programs, plus the applications item at the bottom.
Out of the blue a few days ago, the folders disappeared (along with all the icons for programs that were in the folders) and all that is left is a faint outline of the rectangular shaped backgrounds on the left side of the screen that are stacked on top of each other. And the application item at the bottom also does not have any icons in it to access the programs.
So, now for instance, I cannot find and open my contacts program. But, I know the information is still there because I can use the voice dialing feature to call numbers I don't know.
The only icons I can access to get to programs is through the "toggle" feature (alt and esc). Here I have the PTT, messages, bbmesenger,home, phone, and browser icons which I can access.
I purchased the phone the end of last year and just updated to v 4.5 a few weeks ago.
What suggestions would anyone have of the best process to fix this problem?

I don't have it in fromt of me at the moment, but in going through the Application Loader there should be an Options or Advanced button you can hit. From within that screen you can select the option to wipe all applications or something like that. Doing do will erase everything off the device, and reinstall the OS. Let me know if you see that option.

User profile and home page changed and Firefox hijacked by IE

I use Firefox with XP os with Kaspersky os. When I turned on computer it went through changing user profile.
Home page is changed to MSN-IE becomes the browser and all my files are gone. Computer hijacked. This is the second computer this has happened to.
