Making phone call from calender notes

does anyone know if there is a program for the iphone that will allow you to dial the number that you have stored in calender notes? Also when on the phone if you can switch and look at the calender?

If you never find an app that will do it then you could have a go at making one yourself-I don't think you need to pay Apple as long as you don't want to sell it.

To troubleshoot this issue where your Mac believes you iPhone is still on a call while trying to make a call from your Mac, please first reset your iPhone, and then verify you have the settings configured correctly on your Mac and iPhone.

IPhone 6 seems to crash when making phone call from Mac

When using my iPhone 6 Plus to make phone calls from the Macintosh, (initiating call from Mac Contacts app in Yosemite) the iPhone continually brings up the Apple logo and does a quick restart over and over again. The phone call, however seems to work, but it's just that the iPhone looks as if it's going crazy showing the Apple logo and then the home screen over and over again. This had worked initially, but not anymore. Both iPhone 6 and MacBookPro up to date with updates.

Sound issues making phones calls from Mac

When making or receiving calls thru continuity on my Mac (27" Late 2013; IOS 8.1 iPhone 5S), the person on the other end says the call sounds like I'm in a tunnel, has some distortion and is at times not clear enough to understand what I'm saying. I have used the internal microphone on the mac and have also used a "Yeti" external microphone with the same results. I did try "Face Time" audio as a test and the sound was much improved and satisfactory at the caller's end. There are no issues with the sound from my end sitting at the computer.

On 3, is it turned on on your iPhone and your Mac?

Making phone call from Java Swing

I am not sure whether it is possible or not. I want my Java program to make a phone call and deliver a recorded message or call on a beeper and leave a no. for call back.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If there is a Telephony API for Java, it's not part of Swing. I don't know if there is one at all; you might try asking in Advanced Language Topics.

IPhone 4 updated from 6.0 to 7.1.2 and now the picture no longer appears when receiving or making phone calls. How do I fix this?

Hi I use my phone for conference calls and use the microphone jack to connect to speakers. It doesnt work when making phone calls but when i play music on the phone the jack works with the external speaker.

But basically make sure that iCloud is enabled with the same account in both your Mac and iPhone, turn off Wi-Fi calls if enabled in your iPhone and make sure that Facetime has the same accounts in your devices.

AAfter Apple relase iOS 8 update , I downloaded it on my iPhone and my iPad I have iPad 4 generations and iPhone 4S. I hope you can help as I have the same issue. First the basics: my iPhone 5 and iPad Air both have iOS 8 installed (there are still three family devices on the same apple id/icloud account that are not yet on iOS 8). Both devices list the same phone number in Messages and FaceTime and both those apps use the same iCloud account. Both devices are on the same wifi network.
But when I get a call on my iPhone, the iPad most definitely does not give me the option to respond. And nothing happens when I try to tap on a contact on the iPad. :-( :-(
I went through the links above and note a couple odd things. For instance, the user guide says:
"Disable iPhone Cellular Calls. On your iPhone, go to Settings > FaceTime, then turn off iPhone Cellular Calls"
When I go to my iPhone's Settings->FaceTime, there is no option to "turn off iPhone Cellular Calls". What are they talking about?
In the third link, the instructions for making phone calls have a fourth step:
4. Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off.
What does that mean? Where do I look to make sure it's off?
As an aside, I'm writing this from my 2010 MBP running Yosemite beta 3 and there appears to be no connection between it and my nearby iPhone either. My MBP is on the same wifi network as the iPhone and both the Mac's FaceTime and Messages have the same phone # set as on the iPhone. But when I go into the address book and look up a contact, no "phone" icon/button shows up next to the contact's phone number. When a call comes into the iPhone, nothing happens on the mac.
