Making the "!" Appear so I can make the Duplicate Items Disappear

I just recently somewhat successfully relocated my itunes library to an external hard drive.
I actually had been manually backing up music to that hard drive by dragging and dropping over the past year or so, and clearing out my itunes library on my computer.
Once I relocated the library to the folder on the external hard drive, I dragged and dropped everything from the external folder into itunes. It copied everything successfully and also organized everything on my hard drive and will continue to do so.
The problem is that I did not remember to clear out what was in my itunes library on my computer until afterwards. What I should have done is wiped out my library in itunes, and moved everything to the trash but I didn't. I chucked the whole itunes file without checking and then created my current situation:
For about 20 GB of music there are duplicate listings in the library itself but no files to back them up.
The issue is that some of those link to actual files, while others if played would show the exclamation point.
How do I get the duplicates without files to show the exclamation point so that I can delete those entries in the library without mistakenly erasing files from the library itself?
If there is a better way to make these "dummy listings" disappear I would be happy to hear it.

This application will list the file paths of the files in your designated "iTunes Media" folder which are not in iTunes' library. Additionally, you can select a different parent folder and its contents will be compared to the iTunes library. Options to Add a selection of found files to iTunes or *move them to the Trash*.

Making the region items readonly.

I have a default single column that corresponds to a VO that uses a single select statement in my page. This page is used for inserting into table. When user enter the details and press continue button, i need to use forwardImmediatelyToCurrentPage(), and make the default single column region items readonly. so that the same page will become a review page. How can i make the region items readonly at runtime?

How do I delete the duplicate items in my library on the new iTunes?

I just backed up my library on a new external hard drive and noticed that all my media is doubled up. Aside from going through each item is there a way to do this on the latest version of itunes. There use to be a way via the file and clicking on duplicates items....Please help I have over 20000+ items!!!

Apple has removed that feature along with several others, but

Until then you will have to resort to sorting by a particular label such as artist and manually scanning, third party utilities such as Dougscripts Dupin to deal with duplicates, or revert back to iTunes 10.7.
Somewhere you're not doing something correctly. Backing up a library should not produce duplicates. There's no way it can.

Can't make start up items disappearing

Hi,
Everytime i start leopard there are two things starting automatically. I can't figure out how to make them not starting:
1 Finder opens some path on idisk, always the same path, though it wasn't there at last shut down
2 Automator want me to create a new project. Since I once opened Automator it comes back at every start up..
There is nothing in my start up items list nor in administrators account that have to do something with these applications.

Try starting in "Safe Mode" (It will take more time to startup in Safe Mode because it runs a directory check.)
If that works go to System Preferences >> Accounts >> Login Items and remove them. Boot normally and test. If not go to ~(yourHome)/Library/Contextual Menu Items and move whatever is there to the desktop. Then do the same with /Library/Contextual Menu Items.
Log out/in or restart, if that sorts it start putting items back one at a time until you find the culprit.

EA Games ran a great promotion over the holidays that offered free iphone/ipod and ipad games. I won a few but have not been able to access the games due a weird bug. Everytime I attempt to redeem the code on my iphone in the app store or via Itunes app a pop-up appears "before you can make purchases, you must tap Continue to sign in, then verify your payment info." I'd happily click the continue button if there was one. But there isn't. I click on for the pop-up to move on and I'm back at the screen that asks me to redeem. Which I do and the pop-up returns. I'm fully logged in my payment method works for other app purchases or updates but not these EA codes. Very odd.

Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin. Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See thisthread for background and please take note of the warning tobackup your library before deduping.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)
Note if some of the duplicate items have the iCloud link icon sign out of the store, then sign in again.

You showed a kernel panic file from OS X, apprantly Log Me In is installed into OS X or running when you log in.
You should be using the developers installer/unistaller to remove Log Me In from OS X.
Somehow it's in OS X, I don't know, but it's there and you need to remove it. I'm not dealing with Windows, just OS X.
Talk to Log Me In people and find out what is installed where so you can do a manual deletion out of OS X.
If that doesn't work, you have to reboot holding the Shift key down manually search for any Log Me In or Himachi files on your computer, in your System/Library/Extensions folder too, use the free Easy Find.

You need to take into account any applicable taxes and or fees. iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
So if the total cost of the app exceeds 17$, you'll need to purchase and redeem another iTunes gift card.
