Making ultrabeat sequence 'real' audio

Hi there,
Having programmed the rhythm I want in UB I would like to put it in to my overall mix. However I can't seem to record it into a track.
I have done it once but can't seem to succeed again.
I set up an audio track and create an input but I don't know how to record the ultrabeat into a 'real' track, as such.
I know this is probably really simple but I can't figure it out.
Any help is very much appreciated

Cannot play Real Audio stream in my N82

Hi there,
i have this Real Audio link:
rtsp://stream2.rbb-online.de/encoder/radioeins-live.ra
It plays fine on my desktop computer. But, when I use the URL in the web browser on my N82, Realplayer opens, tries to establish a connection and thats it... nothing....
I have correct settings, I connect via WLAN and have opened the UDP ports on my router, so no issues here. I would be grateful for any hint!

No solution found yet. I believe the radio station's stream is encoded in a real audio format the installed Realplayer does not understand. This also applies to MPEG4 AVC1 encoded video podcast streams that cannot be handled by the Realplayer used on Nokia devices. More and more podcasts use this codec.I hope, Nokia will adress these issues, the Realplayer on the N82 and maybe on other devices as well is dated 2007 and obviously can only handle very basic codecs. Nokia, do something about this! The only way out *may* be the N900 which *might* have much more powerful media players due to its Linux based OS.
Ich vermute, das ist ein real audio Format, dass der Realplayer nicht beherrscht. Bei Videopodcasts im mpeg4 avc1 Format ist das auch so, den Videopodcast z.B. von "neues" oder "Neues aus der Anstalt" kann man auf vielen Nokia auch nicht wiedergeben.Keine Ahnung, ob es für Mobilgeräte einen neueren Realplayer gibt, der damit klarkommt, der installierte Realplayer scheint nicht alle Codecs zu unterstützen. Es liegt an Nokia, hier einen besseren Realplayer anzubieten. Ich liebäugele mit dem N900, das hat vielleicht aktuellere Mediensoftware.

Import Real Audio files?

I've got several hundred Real Audio files (*.ra and *.rm) that I'd like to convert/import into my iTunes library. Is there a freeware/cheapware program to do that?

Just do a search on yahoo or google. I just did and it pulled up abunch of converters. Just overlook them and pick the best one for your needs and taste

Intel iMac won't play Real Audio samples from Amazon

I know this problem could reside with Amazon or Real Audio, but the Apple forum seems the place where knowledgeable and helpful folks hang out, so here goes ...
I've got a brand-new Intel iMac. Going to Amazon, I can no longer listen to sound samples, as they are all in Windows media and Real Audio. The former is not supporting new Macs. As for the latter, I installed (and reinstalled) the latest Real Audio player, but when I try playing an Amazon sound sample, the RA player says "components are missing."
I've already checked my Mac's sound utility to make sure it's at 44.1K (it is, and was), but the problem persists. Any ideas?

Regarding, the VideoLan player, I was under the impression that it would not play through a browser, but required the file to be downloaded first. Is that correct? (Amazon soundclips don't download, I believe.)

How to stream audio/video to real Audio Player

Hello
I am planning on doing a project on streaming audio/video onto Real Audio Player . I am very new to JMF . I would appreciate some pointers on how to start off. I ahve read the documents but am not able to get started right .
I wanted to know the following :
1. Isnt the RTP streaming streaming for live audio or video ? If I want to stream something which I have stored in my local machine then how do i do it - do i need to use RTP ?
2. I undertsand that if i need to stream the audio/video file I need to convert it to a format the Real Audio Player supports. How do i go about that ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

JMF doesn't have any support for Real media. Real has gone open source with their Helix Community, so maybe you could find some useful information there: http://www.helixcommunity.org

Safari launches Adobe GoLive instead of the Real Player. Other sites, like BBC, will always launch the correct application.
Is there a preference somewhere I need to change?

This is a problem I've seen too. Go to the downloaded file located wherever you direct your Safari Downloads (Safari Preferences>General panel). Right click or control/click on the file and select "get info" from the Contextual menu.
In the Info panel, go to the "open with" section (you'll see GoLive) and click on the drop down menu. Select "other" and navigate to your Real Player. Select it.
Then in the info panel select "change all". That will direct all similar future downloads to Real Player.

You can only listen to .ram/.rm live or pre-recorded streaming files on the RealPlayer.
Some websites let you pick a player to use as alternates & will alert you as to which player you want to use when you click on the streaming file link-QT, RP or WMP. Check the website.

Quicktime/Real Audio/WMV

I've been trying to play several files with a wmv extension. I've done this before, as recently as a week or two ago, but something must have changed. I'm getting an error message telling me that Real Audio is not compatible with QuickTime. What does any of this have to do with Windows Media Player? Could I have installed an upgrade of some kind that changed settings so that I can no longer use the Windows Media player? At one point, I seemed to have two different versions of Real Audio showing in the dock. Is that relevant? Should I change the settings in Real Player to play, or not play, WMV files? I can't get those files to play in any format.

Additional info to the original message:
One of the sources of wmv files is a DVD of professionally recorded sessions from a meeting. I have played many of these files in the past few months. Out of curiosity, I tried one of the DVDs on my MacBook, and it opened in Windows Media Player. But when I try the same thing on the desktop computer, I get all kinds of error messages, when formerly the file also played on this machine. Clearly, something has gotten screwed up, but I don't know what.

Something to play Real Audio files? (.ra)

I sometimes see Real Audio files on websites, on Windows, they have RealPlayer that will play them. Is there a similar app on linux/Arch. I'm mostly interested in Audio (*.ra), though I am also curious about the video files (*.ram).
I'm hoping to find a plug-in for mozilla-firefox, or link in an outside app.
I've been searching through the package database, but didnt see anything.

Problems with Ultrabeat sequencer

Someone can tell me why before a jump in a playback cycle Ultrabeat sequencer lose the last notes i've prepared in the pattern? Before tho loop ends and starts again there is an empty bar of the drum sequence. Why? Can I solve the issue?

my question is whne i finish a sequence and want to record it to my arrange and cant?, watched the ultrabeat tutorials and on the bottom left hand corner it says pattern with a button to the left of that, which maps the sequence to the matrix editor, Now the problem is that when i open ultrabeat on multi ch this magic button is not there and is replaced with a #sign so the very bottom left corner of ultrabeat it states pattern# .............could antone help me with ,not only enabling this feature, but actually finding it???, or any tips on recording my sequenes to my arrange?

Safari won't recognize Real Audio

I am having trouble getting safari to recognize real audio. I downloaded real audio for mac, but safari still doesn't recognize it. What can I do to remedy this?

Though not Universal, I downloaded Realplayer v. 10.0.0 (v.352) yesterday for the intel imac, & it works great in Safari, running under Rosetta ( I see no slow down ) click on Safari in Application Folder, Get info, check the box Open using Rosetta.
This is where I downloaded it from, just follow the download steps & quitting safari, as prompts and in the Realpalyer preferences , Media type, save Media types (after it is downloaded & safafri is quit )

Getting real audio into gb2... using my sound card?

Ok. I have my garageband2 going and i pretty much have got the hang of making music using virtual and real instruments. I just don't know how to get Real REAl sound (such as my vocals) into it. my g4 has no mic imput but I have a didgidesign 01 sound card that i would want to use.

Try going into your utilities folder and look for Audio/Midi setup utility. This may be where you would set the soundcard as your input.

After encoding a sequence, music audio (Track 1) is fine, but speech audio (Track 2) is sped up and crackling.

So I've run into an odd problem I haven't experienced before. I exported my docu film last night. I have my music audio on A1 and speech audio on A2 in the timeline. When reviewing it, the music audio plays back fine, but the speech audio is playing back slightly fast (resulting in a bit of a chipmunk effect) and it's crackling (possibly because of the speed-up). The video appears to be in sync with this weird speed-up.
I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro and the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Although this is happening on two different systems, here are my computer specs.

I did a bit of troubleshooting and thought that perhaps I nested sequences too many times. So, I did a few test renders from the ground up on each sequence where the nesting gets deeper. I got up to two nesting levels (where one sequence has a nested sequence which contains a nested sequence - Sequence-ception ) with all audio rendered normally.
However, the next nesting level resulted in the audio issue. So, I copied and pasted the timeline from the previous sequence to the current sequence, overwriting the nested timeline. Oddly enough, it still caused the problematic audio, which has me thinking that it's not related to nested sequences after all.
Keep in mind that playback inside Premiere works fine. I even created a new sequence from scratch into which to paste the timeline. Also, encoding using different codecs didn't make a difference. Of course, I also did the basic things and updated my video card drivers, restarted my computer, uninstalled/reinstalled Premiere Pro and Media Encoder, and tried encoding without GPU hardware acceleration.
Here are some 5-second DNxHD renders to get a grasp of what the results are.

I should probably mention that I configured symbolic links to remap the Users folder to my data drive, as that has been known to cause some problems with Windows, but I made sure to link all the assets in my project using the actual file paths rather than the symlinks. Also, I've been rendering other projects prior to the previous patch with this setup and didn't experience any issues.
Has this happened to anybody else as well? I did some searching for this issue but I'm apparently the only one. I'm just hoping this is some weird bug introduced in the last patch.

That may be so, but why even have that feature if one can't even take full advantage of it? I'll be asking Adobe that if I don't get many suggestions or input here.
