Malware Concern with 460_B015_ENGLISH.EXE

I too am concerned about the possibility of malware in this. A few wks ago, I had to reformat my HD's due to severe virus infections (both laptop and desktop). Installed ZoneAlarm SS. Ha d excellent results for past 3 wks. Yesterday, I did a synch of my BB Curve. Last night somebody got control of my computer. Various windows opened, one of them Blackberry. Zone Alarm A/V scans find nothing. I did a search of exe files run yesterday and one of them was the 460_B015_ENGLISH.EXE file. I don't know if that is sig or not, but when I Googled is below. I would appreciate any feedback.

I don't know where you download your Desktop Manager from, but I would highly advise downloading it ONLY from the RIM downloads...

You can rest assured this ^^ will not be infected or full of malware or whatever you suspect.
Then, you can ignore any of your fears of any problems from it. Do a clean uninstall of the current version if you are convinced there is a poltergeist.

Problem with searchsettings.exe (Mozilla Malware)?

For several days I have had a screen that comes up on boot-up that says basically there is a problem with SearchSettings.exe and it will not start. I did some research and see that it is part of an iObit toolbar system and is basically malware. I found a fix online, but it didn't work so I had to restore. I think my registry cleaner might have remove part of it but I can't find out how to get rid of this annoyance.

How to open a pdf with a ".exe" extension?

Hi everyone,
I am new. Someone just sent me a document they created in Acrobat 9 pro. They say it is a password protected pdf. When I click open or download, it changes from 1 KB to 28 bytes and displays a message that the content has been deleted. I would really appreciate any insights!
In case it helps, I am using Windows 7 and have Acrobat XI Pro. Thanks.

If it was a PDF with a .exe extension I suspect you have just been injected with Virsus, Worm, Trogan Horse or some other malware. A PDF if it’s a true PDF will only have pdf extension. When some one says it’s a Pdf but say it will be sent as exe file don't download it. Or if itd ownloaded don't open it trash it immediately.

Application error with btvstack.exe

I installed the Win 8.x drivers for Kworld's USB ATSC hybrid TV stick (UB445-U2) and they caused errors in btvstack.exe and bitcasa.exe. I contacted Bitcasa and they were able to help me resolve the bitcasa.exe error. I contacted Kworld about the btvstack.exe error and they recommended contacting Lenovo about this error because it is an application that is part of Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth suite.
Please let me know if you know how to resolve the apparent driver conflict with btvstack.exe.

Run the cleaner tool and reinstall with sufficient user privileges and security stuff turned off. Your install went wrong because you didn't consider this.

On command prompt to execute any java program we give :

This ClassName I need in my application, I want to do some post processing on that.

I am trying to Run Derived Class, since there is no entry point found, default JVM invoke the Base class's entry point, there I want to load

I found one temporary solution to this problem :

& in Base class, I have loaded class
object=Class.forName(args[0]).newInstance();
But I dont want to write the same thing twise just to know the Class name which is given along with java.exe.
Is there any way to get the ClassName supplied with java.exe
I have tried a lot, still I am trying !!!

I'd like to get any feedback regarding performance of oracle directory server implementation. Below is what I copy&patested from 9i Net Services Administrator's Guide, I found no 'directory server vendor documentation', so anything regarding this is welcome too.
Performance
Connect identifiers are stored in a directory server for all clients to access.
Depending on the number of clients, there can be a significant load on a directory
server.
During a connect identifier lookup, a name is searched under a specific Oracle
Context. Because of the scope of the lookup, you probably want users to experience
relatively quick performance so that the database connect time is not affected. Users
may begin to notice slow connect times if lookups takes more than one second.
You can resolve performance problems changing the network topology or
implementing replication.

Calling an rss script with rs.exe fails to result in a report pdf from VB6 w/ ShellEx.
If I call rs.exe with the various parameters from the command prompt I have success(other than rs.exe using the temp folder, which is a different issue). But when I try to execute the same process from a Visual Basic 6.0 application utilizing
the ShellEx api call, the report creation and output to PDF format do not occur. There is no error raised.
Yes, I wish I could use a newer dev tool but that isn't an option right now. I think this should work. Can ya'll tell me what I'm doing wrong?

The path for rs.exe includes spaces, you should set it in hyphen, as you already did for file "RunOrdReports.rss" in variable "sArgs2

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Strange issue creating a BCP xml format file with double dagger '‡' (alt + 0135) as column terminator with bcp.exe

I'm having issues generating a BCP XML format file using a fairly unusual column terminator, a double dagger symbol
‡ (alt + 0135) which I need to support.
I'm experiencing this problem with bcp.exe for SQL2008 R2 and SQL2012.
If I run the following command line:
bcp MyDB.TMP.Test_Extract format nul -c -x -f "C:\BCP\format_file_dagger_test.xml" -T -S localhost\SQL2012 -t‡
I end up with a XML format file like so:

You will notice that the TERMINATOR="ç" (Minuscule c-cedilla) is output instead of TERMINATOR="‡". The
ç character, is strangely enough is alt + 135 (and not alt + 0135) so this might more than a coincidence! I know you can specify the codepage but this switch applies the data being imported or extracted and not for the format file
itself (I tried it anyway).
In order to use the XML file to bulk import I manually did a text substitution of 'ç' character for '‡' and then BCP imports '‡' data fine.
This character swap doesn't occur if I generate a non XML format file (the '‡' character is output in the format file correctly) however, this file produces other import errors, which I don't encounter if I use a standard delimiter like a comma. So I have stuck
with the working XML format file which I prefer.
Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm planning to automate the generation the of the XML format file and would like to avoid the additional step of text substitution if possible.

According to your description , we do a test and find that the character of the terminator is changed due to the code page of Operation System. When you choose the different time zone in Data and Time bar, and do the same bcp test, you will find it will
export the different TERMINATOR in your XML format file. For example, you can import the character "ç" (alt + 135) in (UTC-12:00)International Date Line West time zone and (UTC+09:00)Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo time zone, and check if the terminators are different.
By default, the field terminator is the tab character (represented as \t). To represent a paragraph mark, use \r\n.

Execution problem with java.exe

Hi everybody. I am a student in a belgian university, and i've got a problem with the execution of my binaries in the JVM.
I'm developping my project with Eclipse. When I build the project, Eclipse launch perfectly my application with javaw.exe (I supposed it because it's written in the console when I run the project).
Thus, I wanted to try to launch my application by myself, to check if everything is right...
My project is composed like this :
- creavea/src : the sources of my project (a package called "main" , and a package "com.creavea. ..." and other .jar files like a MySQLConnector/J, edtFTPj, the JOutlookBar by lf2prod, ...
- creavea/bin : Eclipse puts the binaries there, when I run my project.
- creavea/files : Somes files like configuration files for my application, etc ...
- creavea/images : Images for my interface.
- the main class, containing the pubilc static void main method, is called CreaGesta, and is in the "main" package.
creavea is the name of my project, but i think you supposed it !
I want to run the binaries, then i do this :
- I open a ms-dos console
- I'm going in the C:\eclipse\workspace\creavea\bin folder
- I execute the command : java main.CreaGesta ...
And it doesn't work :'( ! An error appears :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : com/lf2prod/common/swing/JOutlookBar.
This class, JOutlookBar is used by my application, and the jar file containing the class is in my /bin folder. I can't understand, i'm a little bit disapointed.
It's my first big project in Java, then i don't really understand what's happening. So if someone can help me, it will be really nice for me ! Thanks a lot for your help !

Like this : java -classpath edtftpj-1.4.9.jar; jdom.jar;l2fprod-common-outlookbar.jar;mysql-connector-java-3.1.8-bin.jar main.CreaGesta But now, i've got an other error message :
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError : main/CreaGestaOh, it changed ! but I don't understand the problem . What does it mean? "Java cannot find the class main/CreaGesta", or "An error occured in main.CreaGesta" ?
Can somebody help me to solve this new error ? Thank you !

XMAM30 - digital signature - new applet running with MobileEngine.exe

I am new to this forum and could not find a solution for my problem.
I would be very happy, if anybody can help me.
I have developed a new applet based on the standard SAP applet for the digital signature in xMAM30. This applet works fine in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 but it doesn't work with the MobileEngine.exe!
I have already read the SAP note 897289 about this topic, but this note was not the solution for my problem. Because the SAP Standard applet (com.sap.mbs.mam.order.control.SignApplet) in the mamsignapplet.jar works fine in MS IE 6 and with MobileEngine.exe.
After several tests I found out, that the problem must be the JAR-file which contains the applet.
I have created a new JAR-File of the SAP applet class: com.sap.mbs.mam.order.control.SignApplet with the same MANIFEST.MF which I found in mamsignapplet.jar. But this new JAR-file doesn't work with MobileEngine.exe. Only the MS IE 6 could load the standard SAP applet for digital signature.
Now my question is:
What is the difference between the standard SAP jar-file "mamsignapplet.jar" and the jar-file I have created by using the normal Eclipse export as jar functionality?
What's wrong with the jar-file I have created?

Suppress writing cache files with rwrun.exe

we`re using rwrun.exe (9.0.4.2.0) with parameters to create pdf-files in a loop:

CACHELOB=NO
Each process write a cache file in the directory \reports\cache. Reports eats the hard disk :-(
I`ve found the EXPIRATION command in the documentation, which defines the point in time when the report output should be deleted from the cache. But this command strictly runs with rwclient.exe and reports server, but Reports server isn`t installed on our server.
Can we suppress writing cache files with rwrun.exe?

Concern with bug fix in V9 SP14

My team is concerned with the following fix in V9 SP14 of SAP Sourcing:

Property contracts.Enable_publish_to_supplier_check.External_Phase has been
introduced to control the behavior of phase change of contract document using “Publish to
supplier” Checkbox .
When set to true, the contract document can be changed to external phase only when “Publish to supplier” Checkbox is checked on the Header tab of MA.
When Set to false, the contract document can be changed to external phase irrespective of the status of the publish to supplier check box (checked or not checked) on the Header tab of MA
The issue being, if you do not check the "Publish to Supplier" checkbox and move to an external phase, the supplier receives email notification but does not have access to the contract in the system. We were hoping to get a better understanding of the purpose of this "fix" as it seems to us that it would just cause confusion to the supplier. I'm hoping someone can provide some additional information on the purpose of putting this fix in place.

Contract Documents that are moving from an Internal Only phase to an Externally visible one can only be seen by their suppliers if the Publish to Supplier checkbox is checked (and the publish date is in the past) on the relative Agreement document. Some of our customers want to be warned when they have not checked the Publish to Supplier checkbox on the agreement and others do not want to be warned. We added a new system property to provide our customers with the ability to choose how they want CLM to behave.
If the new system property contracts.Enable_publish_to_supplier_check.External_Phase is set to FALSE (default value) CLM will behave as it did prior to SP14.   This means that you can change a contract document to a phase that is visible to the suppliers without checking the Publish to Supplier Checkbox on the header tab of the related Agreement.
However even though the Contract Document is in an external phase (example: Supplier Draft or Executed), the suppliers still cannot access it from the Supplier portal unless the Publish to Supplier Checkbox is checked. Alerts to the Supplier of the newly visible contract document were triggered by the contract document phase change. Suppliers were receiving the Alert even though the Agreement owner forgot to check the Publish to Supplier checkbox on the Agreement. This is the main problem we were trying to address.
If the new system property contracts.Enable_publish_to_supplier_check.External_Phase is set to TRUE then you are prevented from changing the phase of a contract document from an Internal Only to Externally visible to suppliers unless the Publish to Supplier Checkbox is checked on the Agreement.   This ensures that any externally visible contract documents can be accessed by the suppliers by ensuring that the Agreement owner has remembered to check the Publish to Supplier checkbox on the relative agreement.
Many of our customers do not wish their suppliers to use the Supplier Portal to see Agreements right now but plan to use that feature in the future. Even though they have configured some of their contract document phases as external they don't want Suppliers to see externally visible contract documents until they are ready to check the Publish to Supplier Checkbox.   In the meantime they don't want to be prevented from changing the phase of a contract documents to Executed (for example). These customer should leave the new property set to FALSE.
For those customers that want their suppliers to see the contract documents that are in an Externally visible phase and need to be reminded to check the Publish to Supplier checkbox first should set the new system property to TRUE.
