MAM 3.0 Implementation Technical Expertise required

Hello,
We are working on a MAM 3.0 Implementation Project. However , we are stuck with a number of blocking technical issues. We require technical consulting for the same.
If anybody could help, we would require official technical consulting for a period of 2 weeks.
My email id is : [email protected]
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Anirban Mookherjee.

Hello,
MAM implementation is not be really extaordinarely complicated. Why don't you ask questions about what blocks you from implementing it now?
Thank you,
Julien.

    Hi
    I've got exactly the same issue as the one described in the thread.
    Technical objects required to be mandatory in service contract VA41
    Unfortunately for me it has never been answered, and seems to be quite old now.
    Does anybody knows how it could be set or developed?
    Regards
    Olivier

    Through standard configuration, it is not possible.  However, you can try with any of the following exits
    USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP or
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
    in the program MV45AFZZ where your technical team needs to validate those required fields as mandatory which is quite possible through coding.

  • Technical configuration required to load SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI

    Hello all,
    I want to know the technical configuration required to load SAP NetWeaver 2004s BW. I will be using it for extraction from R/3 also.  So please tell me how much should I go for in terms of
    HDD:
    System RAM:
    Windows OS:
    Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    TR.

    Hi TR,
       There are a base requirements for installing the BW system and then it varies on how much data you are going to extract.  I suggest you start here http://service.sap.com/sizing  You will find a variety of information on how to determine what you need.  Then on the same site run the quicksizer.

  • Change in technical skills required for APPS Release 12 ?

    Hi all,
    My doubt/concern is: In APPS 11i, to become a technical developer, a person must have Oracle D2K + Pl/Sql skills as your basic skills for development/implementation. But I heard that starting from Release 12 onwards, there will not be any Oracle Forms/Reports involved. Instead , we need to develop Oracle APPS using Java only (Jdeveloper) from Release 12 onwards.
    Is this true ? If yes, then are exisitng/new APPS Developers required to learn/migrate to Java Technology ? Kindly please advice as I do not have any experience/knowledge in Java and i am preparing to start my career in Oracle APPS.
    Regards,
    Kumar

    Thank you very much for your encouragement.
    I have 3 yrs of experience in Pl/Sql,Forms,Reports + some experience as Oracle DBA (9i Developer OCP + 9i DBA OCP). I have 2 options now, either become an:
    1) Oracle DBA/Oralce APPS DBA or
    2) Oracle APPS Technical Developer
    For Option 1, I need to do some more certifications/gain DBA work experience I am confident that I can become an Oracle DBA or Oralce APPS DBA very soon.
    For Option 2, I need to do learn Oracle APPS 11i basics first and then get a junior level APPS Technical Programmer Job somewhere. So It will take 2 more years for me to get comfortable with Oracle APPS 11i. But by that time, APPS Release 12 and Fusion will get released and all my current skillsets will not be enough to cope up with that. So I need to learn/switch to Web Services,BPEL,Java/J2EE,XML/CSS/XSL/JavaScript/ADF at that time. Please note that I dont have any knowledge in these technologies too and so I need to start from the basics only.
    So taking my current skillsets into account, kindly please help me in chossing any one of the above 2 options, which will best suit me. Thanks in advance for any help that you would offer to me.

  • Is CRM Middleware Expertise Required if no R/3 Is In Scope?

    Hello CRM Community,
    I'm an XI developer, and I'm trying to get a handle on exactly when CRM Middleware (& thus a Middleware Resource) is required, and when it is not.
    If a customer is implementing CRM 5.0 (with IC Web)in a landscape with non-SAP applications, would they necessarily require a Middleware consultant?
    And if so, to what extent would that requirement be reduced in comparison to an implementation which interfaces to R/3?
    Thanks in advance,
    Jimmy

    Hi,
    CRM middleware is used in CRM whether or not the system is linked to other systems (SAP or non-SAP). CRM is based on it. Eg. whenever you create or change an object in CRM, a bdoc is created which contains the data.
    The question is whether you'll need to use, influence or change the middleware in your project:
    Image having integration with R/3: then you'll need the middleware for setting up the distribution (initial/delta load) between CRM & R/3. But as long as you stick to the standard solution, this will be very easy to setup.
    Imagine having integration to other systems: then you'll need the middleware to interface to them (which can be done using idocs or XML).
    Imagine having a CRM-MSA implementation: then the middleware is used to send data to the MSA client. This means setting up the data-distribution to the clients, which can be quite complicated.
    Imagine having a stand-alone CRM system with an IC webclient and flows limited to the CRM system: then a middleware consultant won't have to much work.
    Michael.

  • Which SAP certification could I complete for technical expertise??

    I have completed my bachelors in Engineering(Information Technology) and Master in Business Administration. I am employed in Investment Banking sector right after my Masters. It has been two years now and I still have this urge to get in to the technical side rather to be Banking sectors (with no offense to my job and company). I have always wanted to do a SAP certification but somehow never got in to that. Now that I have this plan to persue a SAP certification can somebody suggest me what would be the best thing for me to choose that's happening and can find me a more technically oriented job that.

    Hi Raghav,
    for your kind information, a certification never gurantees a job in sap, so think before going to certification. If you wants to go with some technical side, you have some options like SAP ABAP, BASIS, in sap abap pure coding techniques are required, in basis it requires administration of the sap system.
    So, what you can do is, you can take training from anu sap authorised training center, they will provide you training along with certifications, please work hard during training and use each tool to get as many exposure as can be practicable, so in this way you can enter into sap technicakl side, there are many modules like webdynpro , workflow , UI5 etc which can be learned alongwith abap, but your primarily section should be abap module.
    There are some more modules in sap for functional persons those not required coding, so you can search in google for it, if find it interesting, you can also choose any one of them.
    But your main question is for certifications, so please understands, sap certification alone never fulfill your job hunt.
    If you have further queries, feel free to ask.

  • Technical document require for english into French translation

    Hello dl-dba people
    I am current working on assessing the feasibility of translating some Oracle Report Figures from english into French.
    Are there any technical document that shows how to run a Oracle report builder 9i figures in French language or with both languages displayed.
    Or can somebody tell me how this is done.
    Thanks
    Brendon

    Anyone at all? I think you can, but I just want to confirm it before I present my answer. Thanks!

  • How to implement such validation requirement?

    2 af:inputText A and B
    only numbers and letters are allowed for both of them,
    but both of them are letters is not allowed.
    how to implement it?
    JDev: 11g.
    Thanks.
    Kevin.

    Hello,
    Do you just want to display them as red or also validate on them?
    If its just display, you can try this:
    Set both fields to autoSubmit="true" and immediate="true"
    set the styleclass to depeding on the values like this:
    styleClass="#{bindings.A.inputValue == bindings.B.inputValue ? 'AFFieldText': 'customErrorStyleClass'}"-Anton

  • My initial design of the JCP implementation,YOUR suggestions required

    I have no experiences before on Javacard/Smartcard/COS...
    Here is a simple/naive design after reading JCP specs and smartcard handbook, etc.
    Please give me some guides/suggestions/references
    Thanks.
    The ideas below lacks of supporting materials.
    The relation between COS and JCRE:
    1. JCRE has lots function of the COS like Security Manger, Transmission Manager, Command APDU handle,
    Application Manager(implemented as Applet), File Manager(implemented as Applet)
    2. The main() of a COS is a loop receiving/sending APDU.
    3. The IO loop could be implemented as Java code.
    GUESS:so the JCP(VM, API, JCRE, Applets) plus native functions(IO, crypto) is the COS.
    The function/class below form the COS of a smartcard
    //1.cos
    int main()
         JCVM_run(JCRE);
    //2. cos components == javacrd native functions
    usb_opertions();
    hash256();
    //3. JCRE
    class JCRE
         APDUDispatcher apduDispatcher;
         IOManager ioManager;
         SecManager secManager;
         Applet[] currSelectedApplets;
         start()
              presetApplets.install();
              ioManager.registerListener(apduDispatcher);
              ioManager.loop();
         switchApplet(newApplet)
              if(!firewallCheck())
                   return;
              oldApplet.deselect();
              newApplet.select();
    //3.1. APDUDispatcher, like the "card manager" in OpenCard
    class APDUDispatcher
         //1 raw byte stream -> APDU
         //2 default process
         //3 delegate to applets
         process()
              switch()
              case SELECT_FILE:
                   JCRE.switchApplet(findApplet());
                   break;
              default:
                   logicalChannelNo;
                   JCRE.currSelectedApplets.process(apdu);
    //3.2. IOManager
    //java wrapper for lowlevel io operations
    class IOManager
         loop()
              while(1)
                   if(read())
                        apduDispatcher.process();
    //3.3. SecManager
    class SecManager
         firewallCheck()
         capAuth()
    Please give me some guides/suggestions/references
    Thanks.

    The idea is right.
    I've found an similar implementation here.
    why2.38 lib/why/javacard_api/javacard/framework/Dispatcher.java
    (note: this is javacard.framework.Dispatcher not javacard.framework.service.Dispatcher, the first one is part of JCRE, instead of part of API)
    http://docs.camlcity.org/docs/godipkg/3.11/apps-why/lib/why/javacard_api/javacard/framework/Dispatcher.java
    Wish helpful.

  • Need help on implementing a business requirement

    Hi,
    Here is a Business requirement for which I find no clues on how to do.
    I have Location as the actual geography dimension (Custom Dimension). I have programs in my entity dimension. Projects are referred as programs. These programs can run across multiple locations. The programs are identified by codes. The same program running across different locations is indentified by a different program code. Suppose I get a program “50020” in India, I do say 60% of the program in India and transfer 20% to Philippines against a different program code(Say "50021") and 20% to USA against a different program code(Say "50022"). Here “50020”, “50021” and “50022” are the same programs but running across different locations. I have two data forms
    1. Transfer Out
    2. Transfer In
    In "transfer Out" form for the selected program code "50020" in the page dimension, I specify the percentage of program that is transferred to other program codes( say 20% to program code"50021" with location "Philippines" and 20% to program code "50022" with location "USA"). These are captured against the account members say "TransferOutProgram1","TransferOutLocation1" and "TransferOutProgram2","TransferOutLocation2" respectively.
    In the "Transfer In" form i have few account members named "TransferInProgram1","TransferInLocation1" and "TransferInProgram2", TransferInLocation2". When they select "50021" and "Philippines" from page dimension, it should show these values "50020" and "India" against "TransferInProgram1" and "TransferInLocation1" respectively. What I mean to say from this form is, India program 50020 has transferred certain amount to Philippines program "50021".
    Any suggestions on how this can be managed with business rules or calc scripts or it would be great if this requirement can be achieved by some other means?
    Regards,
    Ragav.

    Hi,
    Suppose you have a spare dimension (call it details, reporting) in which you have two members, source and Target.
    By using this two members on the columns of your form and placing programs and locations (also optionally accounts) on the rows, you can define as many source and target combinations as required in the form. Place all programs and locations in the form rows and enable Supress missing data and block on the rows section. Hence, when you open the form initially, you'll find no rows. Write a business rule which writes 0 to target and brings available budget or fund on the source program-location combination. Attach it to menu and place the menu on the form. So when right clicked and run, user will select source and target combinations and your form will show only the programs and locations those are chosen by the user that (s)he will use for transferring the budget between.
    This is the basic concept though, once you get into it, you'll find many ways to enhance this.
    Cheers,
    Alp
