MAM 3.0 - Time Comfirmation

Hey,
I have a question about time confirmation with MAM 3.0.
As far as I know, time confirmation in MAM is executing IW41 - Time Confirmation on Order.
But is it possible to use CAT2 - Time Sheet on MAM 3.0 ?
Message was edited by: Tom E
mmm ... we probably have to deploy Time & Travel aswell.

Hi Tom,
MAM is offering an enhancement concept as well for the backend using BAdIs. In these BAdIs you could for example send the time confs as well in a CAT System.
Check the MAM Enhancement docu for more info.

  • MAM 3.0 Time Confirmation Error

    Hi,
I am working on MAM3.0,I am unable to do final time confirmation from the client, I am getting an RFC error
"Order cannot be completed; account assignment notmaintained" in the worklist monitor.
I am able to do final time confirmation of the order from the backend but not from client.
This problem is occuring only when i am doing final time confirmation.
Can anybody help me regarding this.
    Thanks in advance
    Warm Regards,
    Priya Ghosh

    Hello Priya,
Please check whether Note 849235 is there in you system. Othewise, please implement and retest the scenario.
When you are doing final time confirmation, here the system is trying to TECO the order. For doing a TECO, you need account assignment data which is usually copied from reference object(Func.Loc or equipment). However, in this case, the data from reference object might not be getting copied.
    Hope this helps.

  • GR processing time in QM

    Dear Sir/mam
GR processing time in material master is 3 for eg and inspection lot created in QA32 with start date and end date is same can you let me know the relation how can i corelate this gr time with actual start and end time of inspection.
    regards
    kunal

    Hi
If GR processing time in Material Master say 5 days Then..
During MRP run or when Scheduling or forcasting is done then this Lead time will be addd...
Now inhouse production time eg 5 in days ......means it  determine the planned dates for planned orders in materials planning.
This will add little valu in your understanding..

  • Quick time can't instal.

    Hello,
I have a problem with installing the latest quick time. Gives me an error that is already installed the latest version of the program. The problem is that I do not have any quick time instaled because im manually uninstalled it before having trouble with his location after changing drive letters. I tried to remove all the registry keys associated with apple quick time and unfortunately it did not help. Next the installer screams that I have installed the latest versions of the program.
    Polish version of text.
    Witam,
Mam problem z zainstalowaniem najnowszego quick time. Spróbowałem usunąć wszystkie klucze w rejestrze związane z quick time i apple niestety to nic nie pomogło. Dalej instalator krzyczy, że mam zainstalowana najnowszą wersje programu.

  • Mobile Time and Travel  on a PDA with MAM

    Hi Everyone,
Can I deploy Mobile Time & Travel to a PDA instead of a Laptop?  We will be using a PocketPC Device for the application but not so sure if you can run Mobile Time & Travel and Mobile Asset Management with the same device.  Please advice.  Thanks.
    Dai

    Hello Dai,
Mobile Time and Travel is really designed for laptops.  The UI would not be user-friendly on a PDA (always scrolling).

  • WM: Why some times i can't comfirm mi Transfer Order?

Why some times i can't confirm mi Transfer Order?. When I create a transfer order from Delivery Note and then I confirm that, the system show me the next message: ITEM CATEGORY IS NOT DEFINED. But I don't know why.

    Daniel
    Welcome to SDN
It seems Item category is not defined for those items so add this to the item and system allows to confirm.
    Hope this helps

  • MAM RFC throwing Exception

    Hi friends,
In my MAM Application, I have imported the syncBO definition provided by SAP,
One of the syncBO's which I imported is:
MAM25_001 [Order / Operation for MAM],
    it points to function module:
    1. MAM25_001_CREATE       [Not Working]
    2. MAM25_001_GETLIST      [Working]
    3. MAM25_001_GETDETAIL    [Working]
    4. MAM25_001_CHANGE       [Not Working]
MAM25001_CREATE internally calls another function module called ALM_ME_ORDER_RELEASE_CHECK, which throws an exception, that
    <b>"The orderid is already released"</b>
though I am creating the new order,
Through debugging I found that every time create Function module sends the same orderid to release function module and that is %000000001,
I dont know why even the standard function module is throwing the exception or may be I am wrong somewhere in using this,
    Please provide me your suggestions,
    Help will be highly appreciated,
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Hi Rahul,
    sorry for replying late,
yes, I am using this functional module,
and the user id , i m giving is not already existing one,
Secondly even if I dont give user id (because that is automatically generated, it gives the same exception,
I debugged and found that a function module alm_me_order_release_check is throwing this exception with exceptio type as "Already Released",
I think that is enough information I can provide,
    Regards,
    Deepak

  • Found iCal events in Time Machine.  Now Lion only allowing me to import one event at a time.

Upgrade my macbook pro over the weekend to Snow Leopard and then Lion.   I lost all my the majority of my iCal events.   Went to Apple store and they said that was rare and not sure how to restore my last back up from Time Machine on an external drive.   I've been spending hours trying to go through a bunch of threads on different MAC formums.
So I finally found my iCal events in Time Machine.   When I try to import these events, I am only allowed to highlight/import one event at a time.   This will take me forever to import years of missing data.   I basically have been using my iCal to journal for my 3 small daughters - first tooth, hair cut, etc.   So I am desperate to get these events back so I can get them printed and SAFE.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to import my ics files?   The Apple Store Genius had me tryng to import the corestorage.ics files.   2 or 3 of those files showed they were trying to be imported for over 4 hours.   I finally Forced Quit iCal.   I've tried this several times and same result.
The corestorage files were under user/library/application support/ical/sources
I now located the calendar events user/library/calendars/ then a bunch of coded files leading to the events.  These events appear to be the ones I am looking for as I can read some of the files.   I have several years I want to import back into my working iCal.
Please help if you know how!!!
    Thank you,
Very Upset Mama of 3 little girls

Thomas - You are awesome - THANK YOU!
I did exactly what you said (CAN"T believe an Apple Genius did not know this) and I think all of my events got restored.
However, it duplicated all of the calendars - I have 6 (one for each family member plus an extra called home that we all have to do).   Not sure if I did something wrong, but do you have any ideas?
Also, the time setting must be wrong b/c I have events from 2008 showing up in 2012 - same day and time as the old sessoin - just out dated.    Do I need to manually change all of this?   Should I delete the Calendars folder again and try again?
Also, I read some where about deleting a iCal cache file.   Do I need to do this?
I TRULY appreciate you taking the time to help people in this forum.   I have spent hours the past two days trying to figure this out.   Plus, now I need to figure out about upgrading my Office for Mac b/c I didn't realize I lost Office 2004 when upgrading to Lion.
Thank you for your time and support!
    Lori

  • Confirmation in MAM

    Hello all,
I created a scenario in the back-end to allow the user to change the activity type in a confirmation of a Service Order.
In MAM, I can create a new operation and select the activity type from a list, but I cannot change the activity type in a time confirmation or material confirmation.
Furthermore the activity type in the confirmation is not the same like the operation, it seems that it is the default activity type defined from the work center.
How I can be able to select the activity type in the confirmation from the list?
    Thanks,
    Tipiah

    Hello Abhishek,
In MAM there is a customization available which will close the Order automatically after final confirmations are done for all Order Operations. You do not need a BADI to do this.
    1. Goto transaction: SPRO
    2. Path: Plant Maintenance & Customer Service -> Maintenance & Service Processing -> Mobile Asset Management -> Determine Order Processing.
    3. Now select your Order Profile. and select the Confirmation Profile from the Dialog Structure.
    4. In teheTime Confirmation Section the first property is called 'Order Closing'. Here select the 'Automatic Completion after Final Confirmation Indicator'.
    5. Save and exit.
This should do the job for you.
    Regards,
    Dilip

  • Converting a laptop into a MAME cabinet: Looking for optimisation.

    Hello everyone!
I recently turned an old laptop into a MAME arcade cabinet.
So far I only have the laptop working with MAME able to play games. I will build the cabinet from scratch once I have fully optimised the laptop.
Let me explain all of this in details.
First of all, I got motivated with this video of someone making a MAME arcade cabinet out of an old computer and something that looks like an empty Neo-Geo arcade cabinet.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sd9j6nGUCvU
While the idea seems really nice, using FreeDOS (or any DOS operating system) really bothers me.
Since, in the video, DOS is used to boot really fast and have nearly nothing between MAME and the operating system, there's no reason not to use GNU/Linux to achieve the same goal.

  • Memory requirement MAM

    Hi
I have installed MAM 2.5 on my PDA with 128 MB of RAM (Processor: Intel PXA270). Now i have about 500 functional locations, but I can not say that I am impressed about its performance. In real life we will need to have almost 100 000 functional locations. Can this work and what would the requirement for memory be?
Do anybody have experiense with souch a scenario?
What is the advantage of using the database on a PDA?
    Best Regards,
    Morten

    Hi,
Thank you for your response.  This is a customer requirement to have this many objects on the device.  I realize that you can enter the data and the mapping is provided later, but due to the complex character string the customer uses in PM to identify functional locations, a manual entry of this sort will error 75 % to 85% of the time.  The errors will have to be manually corrected in the middleware. It may be possible to reduce the number of Functional Locations to something between 7,000 to 10,000 per user, but due to the structure of our PM module, some users will absolutely be responsible for up to 40,000 equipment objects on any given day.  And it is also a requirment that they choose from a displayed list rather than enter them in an uncontrolled way.  We also have a very complex catalog for cause codes to limit the amount of manual text enty required, and also improve reporting capabilities with consistent data. The listing of Notifications and Workorders are not a problem, it is the catalogs, functional locations, and equipment data that is causing memory problems.  I gather from reading previous posts that limiting the data on the handheld is a good idea, but we really can not limit the data any further than we already have.  I am beginning to realize that maybe SAP Mobile is not the best solution for our requirements.
With regard to "Additional Master Data":  where in SPRO is this?  I have looked at the Mobile Asset Management area under Maintenance and Service Processing (Plant Maintenance and Customer Service) and I don't see that field?
    Thanks,
    Jim

  • MAM RFC Error with Order and Notification SyncBo's

Hi everyone, can you please advise on a problem I'm having when downloading 2-WAY SYNCBO MAM objects.
I am able to download all syncbo's to my client with my username.  This includes Orders and Notifications.
But.....whenever I use a different username only some of the SyncBO's come over.  I am missing MAM25_001 and MAM25_010 data.  Here is what I have done so far:
    -  Ensured username had exactly the same SAP security profile as I do, including the MI authorization objects.
    -  Ensured username was configured the same in the IMG.
    -  Re-generated and re-replicated my SyncBo's.
    -  Checked table MEREP_10100.  It showed no Order or Notification data.
It does not make sense why everything works for me, but not for other usernames on my network.
Here is the RFC error I get from the Middleware using MEREP_MON:
    RFC system Error:
Z_MEREP_GEN_S01_____MAM25_010 has finished for run number 0000019624 and runtime counter 17.
    Please help.  Thanks.

    Hi Alex,
Could you please reply the SP levels of the MI Client, MI server and MAM application?
Also is your client device a PDA?
You could try out few things ( not sure whether they will help)
    1. Sync several times (may 6 times) for the other users.
    2. Remove the MAM application for the one of the other usernames from the webconsole(which is not able get the data) and reassign it.
    3. Try the username on some other device.
    All the best!!!
    Regards,
    Rahul

  • Iphoto: unwanted date/time change after import

    Two problems:
First Problem: In October, 2012, scanned a photo into my MacMini in JPEG format.  Creation date 10.12.2012 , Modified date 10.12.2012.  This is OK.
This is an old family Christmas photo, so I use "touch -t" command through the Terminal application to change Creation and Modified dates to 12.25.1957 at 2PM (1400.00 hours).  Use Finder/Get Info to check date of JPEG file and confirm change of date and time.
Then, import JPEG file into iPhoto:  iPhoto shows date of JPEG file as 12.25.1957, but time is now 3:34.02PM (1534.02 hours).  Use File/View in Finder to look at iPhoto file and discover that date and time are changed to 12/31/1969 at 7:00 PM (1900.00 hours).  What's going on here?
Second Problem:  Received a JPEG file by email and moved it to the Desktop.   Creation date and Modifed date of the file are the date and time they were downloaded from email onto my MacMini, which is today: 1/30/2012 at 11:30AM.   Use "touch -t" command through Terminal application to change Creation and Modified dates and times to 10/20/2012 at 6PM (which is when the picture was actually taken). Comfirm change through use of Finder/Get Info  capability.
Import JPEG file into iPhoto and time gets changed to 7:34PM (date stays 10/20/2012).   Look at File/Reveal in Finder and the dates are still the date and time of the download from email onto my computer.  What gives?
Iphoto version is 9.4.2.  All system software up-to-date.

That command is the adjust time/date command - not the batch change command
Adjust T/D takes a group of selected photos and applies a constant delta to them thereby correcting for camera setting errors or time zone issues
Also note that this is a user to user support forum not a path to Apple - it is a great plce for questions about how iPhoto works - it is an extremely poor place to make requests for changes since there is no one here who can do that.
