Man, is there a way to organize VST's better in Audition 3?

I finally upgraded my Waves Mercury bundle, and apparently they stopped supporting DirectX after version 6 - I now have version 7. I personally liked the DirectX support because it was separated from my VST collection, and also had it's on WAVES tab that dropped down all of the effects. Now that it's all VST, and I had to manually click over 100 effects, everything is all bundled up and just a mess - not to mention takes forever to scroll all the way down to file through effects. Is there any way to ATLEAST makes a WAVES only dropdown within the VST column? Or is there a way to make a horizontal tab pop-outs instead of a long vertical list that forces you to slowly scroll? Look at this mess.
This is with the list all the way scrolled down. Hell, it'd maybe even be a little more conveniant if the mouse wheel made it scroll down the column but it doesn't - have to click/hold the arrows.

Once you open up a large vst menu, try typing a letter, like x or z to automagically scroll all the way down to the bottom.
If you know which effect you're looking for, you can type the first letter of the effect name to scroll alphabetically to that general location in the scroll list.

  • Is there a way to organize shared folios in the content viewer app?

    I have quite the collection of folios that have been shared with me. My list has grown quite a bit and it's getting harder to find certain folios in the Content Viewer App on my iPad. The ordering seems to be somewhat random. Is there any way to organize the list of folios? Bonus Question: Any way to create folders and place certain folios inside of folders?
    Thanks!

    Use library filters.

  • Is there a way to organize pictures in Iphoto by dragging?  not organizing by date....

    is there a way to organize photos in Iphoto by dragging directly to the top of page?  not organizing by date.....

    Create an album and place into it any pictures you like. You can even place every single picture in your iPhoto library into it. The pictures can then be organized in any arbitrary way you wish within that album.

    Well, I think I know why the rules are not working. The alias mailbox is being listed as another mail folder  and not as an actual inbox so the rules are not being applied. While I wish the rules would work, I will continue to manually mark some of the emails as spam.
    As for the second issue with emails vanishing, I am waiting to see if it happens again. I think it must happen when it is syncing the data but I am not sure that it happens all the time. Today the previous emails seem to be their and it grabbed the new email so I don't know what happened with the vanishing email. Anyway this can be closed since I believe the main issue has been solved as being a setup issue with Yahoo alias email account.

    No - not at the present time anyway.
    Organize the photos on your computer before transferring the photos to your iPad.

  • Is there any way to organize runbooks?

    Hi, is there any way to organize runbooks? I have more than 10 runbooks in my account now and it's getting difficult to handle.
    It would be very cool to have something like folders or labels/tags for the runbooks. So this is more a feature request.
    How do others handle this?

    Hi,
    Runbooks have tags that you can set on the configure tab of a runbook. The tags for a runbook also show up on the runbook list.

  • Is there any way to organize icloud mail by discussion?

    Is there any way to organize icloud mail by discussion?
    This funcitionality seems to be on all other apple devices, but I can not find a way to organize my emails by conversation.
    If this feature is not currently available on icloud mail it desperately needs to be added.

    There is no option to sort photos with various options in the Camera Roll on your iPhone just as there is no way to do the same with a digital camera. The default sort order is by date and time - as photos are captured or saved from another source such from a received email or text message.
    Not sure why the sort order changed with your iPhone's backup, but there this can't be changed.

  • Is there a way to organize files by date added?

    I'm trying to put a scrapbook together for a friend and am including all of the files he sent me and stuff in order of the date that he sent them...but there's only the option to organize by date modified or date created....none of which help me with this...I really need to do date added. Is there any way to do it?

    I apologize if I misunderstood your question. So are you asking when someone sends you pics in a email, you want to add them to iphoto or a folder in finder by the date of the email and not the date of picture? I am not sure if this will help or maybe you already did this. I chose "quick look" at the attachment of an email with an older pic and chose the icon to add to iphoto. When I did this it created a event with todays date. The email was from Jan 4th, so it recognized todays date. Unfortunately though, when I tried this with recent pics sent to me (xmas), it created a folder based on the date the picture was taken. So I am really not sure if there is a way to do it. The only other suggestion I have, which is not the quickest. First I would create a specific folder for this project in finder. Next when you receive the email, click to save attachment. In the "save as" box, name the file the date you received it and any additional info if you want. Next find the folder you created and save in there. At least you will be able to access the pics in one place and the file name will say when you received them. I hope this helps. I am not an expert yet on my mac, but I just tried that and it worked. Good luck. Lee Ann

  • HT1449 Is there a way to "Organize Library" and *move* the files, rather than *copy* them?

    I was trying to move my iTunes Library from the old iTunes Music folder to a new-style iTunes Media folder.
    The Organize Library command wants to copy my 219 GB library. Is there any way to do the same thing but move the files instead? There's no way I'm going to be able to free enough space to make a copy of my whole library, and I would really rather not move the whole thing to an external drive, just to move it all back to the proper folder on my internal drive.

    Let's recap.
    Your iTunes media library is in an old school layout, library in the usual location of <User>/Music/iTunes containing a media folder called iTunes Music. You have updated the iTunes preference for the media folder to <User>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media but, as expected, most if not all your media is still on the old path. And you want to rearrange your library to the current layout.
    Correct? If so then the following steps will sort out your library:
    Change the media folder preference back to <User>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music. Close & then reopen iTunes.
    Use File (iTunes?) > Library > Organize Library > Rearrange files in the folder "iTunes Music" to get iTunes using the new internal structure for the media folder. Ignore if this option is grayed out, you've already done it.
    (Sorry, I'm a PC user so a bit hazy on precise layout of Mac menus)
    Use File (iTunes?) > Library > Organize Library > Consolidate files to pull in copies of any files that made it into the iTunes Media folder or are scattered elsewhere.
    Delete the now redundant folder iTunes Media.
    Close iTunes, rename iTunes Music as iTunes Media, start iTunes, check under iTunes > Preferences > Advanced that the media folder preference has automatically updated to .../iTunes Media, correct if required.
    (Optional). Close iTunes, rename the library file iTunes Library as iTunes Library.itl then click the icon to start iTunes and immediately press and hold down option. When prompted to choose or create a library click choose and browse to the renamed file.
    I could have suggested using Doug's script Re-locate Selected but the process above is much more efficient. You could use this however at step 3 to avoid the temporary duplication of the files from iTunes Media or housekeeping for any other files stored ourside of the iTunes Music folder.

  • Folders for Adobe Forms - is there a way to organize my forms?

    I am looking for a way to organize my online Adobe Forms.  I use the forms for school on an almost daily basis.  I would like to put payroll forms together, summer school registration, evaluations, etc. - each in their own separate folder.  Help!

    Hi,
    This isn't something we currently support. You can vote for the feature here:

  • Is there a way to do this DML better?

    Hi
    I have the following update:
    update dept d
    where d.num_emp = (select count(1) from emp where dept_id = d.id),
    d.min_hire_date = (select min(hiredate) from emp where dept_id = d.id),
    d.max_hire_date = (select max(hiredate) from emp where dept_id = d.id)
    As you can see I'm accesing the emp table for each column I want to update. Is there a way to access the emp table once and update multiple columns in one DML without using PL/SQL?
    Regards,
    Néstor Boscán

    Hi,
    Something like this?
    SQL> select * from  dept_tst;
           DID    NUM_EMP MIN_HIRED MAX_HIRED
            10          1 06-APR-10 06-APR-10
    SQL>  update dept_tst d
      2   set (d.num_emp,d.min_hiredate,d.max_hiredate)
      3    =
      4   (select count(1),min(hiredate),max(hiredate)  from emp where deptno = d.did );
    1 row updated.
    SQL> select * from  dept_tst;
           DID    NUM_EMP MIN_HIRED MAX_HIRED

  • Vid quality degraded after updating but it plays much more smoothly with minimal buffering. Is there any way I can restore the better resolution, or toggle between the two?

    OS:Windows XP
    Also, before updating, I used to go into the browser cache and copy the temporary file for a video (detected by refreshing the cache window) to another folder when the vid was finished playing, then I would add the .flv extension and *snap* I have the video saved. The cool thing about this was that I could skip forward in a video such as a news program to the segment I want, whereas with video downloaders I must save the whole thing. Since updating, the cache folder is full of dozens of folders, which each contain folders, which each contain multiple temp files, so it's MUCH harder to snatch the temp file without using the search feature specifying the date and size. The cool thing about this was that I could skip forward in a video such as a news program to the segment I want, whereas with video downloaders I must save the whole thing. I'd be grateful if anyone has any suggestions regarding this, but my main question is about video quality. For informational videos, the poor resolution and murky sound is a tolerable trade-off for having no delay or buffering, but for concert videos this is intolerable and it would be worth waiting for better quality. Is there any way to adjust the quality if the site itself doesn't offer that option?

    Sounds like you did this on the fly.
    MM is supposed to open the Marker Panel Dialogue
    M just sets a marker
    Not sure if either are intended for on the fly during playback .
    There is also a Marker Icon on the Source Window Pane  >>

  • Is there a way to organize keywords into folders?

    Hi there,
    I currently use Adobe Bridge to tag and rate my 61 GB (and growing) Photo Library but I love iPhoto (ease of exporting, some editing capabilities, smart folders, ordering options, and all just ease of use) and am wondering if there's a way to have a folder system in the keywords area so that I can organize my keywords into logical groupings as you can do in Bridge. This is really the only reason why I don't have all of my photos in iPhoto right now but it's a biggie for me.
    Thanks!

    Check out Keyword Manager, which supports nesting keywords.

  • Is there any way to organize photos in camera roll by date?!

    IS there anyway to organize all of your photos in your camera roll by date? ... • Is there any way to organize instant messages?

    Today's generation, including our children, loves instant messaging. From my point of view, it has significant drawbacks. Why? Because it quickly becomes disorganized. Messages, photos, and other information is all in a jumbled stream. By contrast, email messages can easily be organized into folders and retrieved months or years later. Searching through email (or separate email folders) is a breeze. By contrast, finding something in instant messages (including wonderful photos) that is a week old, a month old, a year old, eludes me.
    The other beauty of email is that when a message arrives by email, the recipient can keep it in his or her inbox as a constant reminder that it needs to be dealt with before filing it away in a more hidden location (an email folder). Instant messages, by contrast, pile up over time (often with a recipient in my generation not even recognizing that one has arrived) and there is no way to keep the significant action items visible while filing away the others.
    Does anyone know of any tips or apps that might impose order on instant messages? If so, I suspect other members of my generation would be grateful to know about them. I feel foolish enough about asking this question that I wish Apple didn't require me to use my real name. :-)

    Thanks Kilgore-Trout (love your name and love Breakfast of Champions). That is indeed the problem. Some day I hope these two tools will converge so that the recipient may easily move an occasional important instant message to email to establish permanence. Current methods for doing that are so primitive as to be useless.
