Which package I must install?
I hope in the help of someone.
Thank You and Best Regards

  • Tool for managing tickets from client

    hi,
My Client has implemented SAP in June 2013.And soon after go live they have outsourced 100% work to some agency.
Now problem is that that agency dont have any tool to manage the requests which they are getting from the cleint to process in SAP.
All the Accounts payable ,Gl enteries,PO,GR,MIRO all these kind of transactions that outourced agency is doing. They are getting emails in oulook from the client saying  "please process PO" with attached details, likewise for all other processes.
Using outlook is littele wierd because its big team of 50 people. If 50 people will use one oulook then that will hamer the efficiency and effect SLA's.
Can anybody suggest some local tool to be used by this agency so that they perform in a better way.
Solution Manager and HPQC are not perfect fir for this kind of scenario.
    Awaiting for the replies.

  • Is there is any way to find the data transfer from client to Configuration Manager for health monitoring and hardware Inventory

    Hi
Can Configuration Manager provide a way to find the data transfer from client to Configuration Manager for health monitoring and hardware Inventory. How can I know what amount of data is consumed during that process

Place archive_reports.sms in %systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\ for both 64-bit and 32-bit computers.
There are two situations where you can use this depending on the type of client:
    1. To keep inventory reports on a client (that is not an MP), create the following file:
    %systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
    2. To keep inventory reports on a MP (that is also a client), create the following file:
    <x>:\sms_ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
The XML file will be saved in the inventory\temp folder.
More information on the above here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2012/09/17/controlling-configuration-manager-2012-using-hidden-files.aspx

  • Home directory is not created and cannot log from client computer

I am trying to set up MacOsX server. I already have another server which is my DNS server. I am trying to create an Open Directory Master server.
Server was updated to 10.4.8 MacOsX from the beginning of existence.
I created couple of users in Open directory domain for testing purposes.
So, the first problem is, that when I am trying to create a user home directory server does not create it and does not give any errors about that. I tried in bash createhomedir utility, it did not work either, again, no error messages.
    Another problem:
I set up Open Directory master with LDAP. It was set up correctly, no error messages. At least I did not see any.
The I tried to connect to the server from my client iMac computer which has 10.4.8 MacOsX as well. So I set up LDAP there in Directory services, it was able to find my server and bind to it. Then when I am trying to login with username and password in Open Directory on the server, it does nor recognize it. No error messages in logs as well.
However, if I am trying to use ssh from client machine to connect to Server using the names which are in Open Directory on the server it allows me to do so. But of course it says no home directory defined.
Than you very much for responce!

An Open Directory Master requires DNS running somewhere. You could have a scenario involving 4 servers where: DNS is provided by Server A, Server B is a Web & Mail Server, Server C providing FTP Services and Server D providing LDAP services with managed preferences and automounting Home Directories (ODM). In this scenario DNS is provide by Server A and any other server requiring DNS using Server A’s DNS. You could expand this scenario if you wanted and have replica (fallover) servers for Servers A, B C or D, or if you are the frugal sort just one replica server replicating the 4 primary servers. You can do all of this pretty much in 10.4 GUI with some additional configuration using Terminal

  • [SOLVED (sort of)]LXDE crashes from login manager, not from startx

Recently moved to arch and wanted to try out LXDE... Well, no luck so far.
I am able to start lxde with startx by commenting out everything else in xinitrc and leaving only this line :
    exec ck-launch-session startlxde
As I expected it should, gdm picked up LXDE and added it to it's menu after I installed it. When trying to load though, it crashes and brings me back to gdm. I figured it might be a problem with gdm, so I installed slim and used the very same line that worked with startx, only to get the same crash that brings me back to slim...
    lxde)
    exec ck-launch-session startlxde
Has anyone seen this problem before? I've digged around the internets and could not find an obvious solution.
    [SOLUTION]
Removing pcmanfm got rid of the bug that was causing the crash. Apparently it's all that can be done until the bug is fixed upstream.

    Okay.
/var/log/Xorg.0.log, after a failed login attempt with gdm. Sorry I have to bore you with the whole thing, I have no clue which part may or may not be relevant to my problem. I see no obvious errors.

  • Access denied while loading jar files from client

    I am creating a platform
that can be started by JWS
and then load plug-ins from client drive.
I've signed my platform (packaged as a jar file),
and set up the security tag in my jnlp,
so that it can access client files.
The plug-ins are packaged as jar files.
And in one of the plug-ins, there is a class that has a JFileChooser field.
While initializing this field, the AccessControlException is thrown.
I can't figure out what is wrong,
So I tried to sign the plug-in, but the problem stands still.
PS. I have made my own ClassLoader,
and this platform works well without JWS.
    Please help me, thanks.

When running under Java Web Start, a security manager is installed.
Since you have created your own classloader, you are responsible for assigning permissions to the classes you load.
You can change you class loader to extend SecureClassLoader, then override getPermissions:
    protected PermissionCollection getPermissions(CodeSource codesource) {
    PermissionCollection perms = super.getPermissions(codesource);
/* add whatever permissions you want your code to hance*/
    perms.add( ... );
    /* or just add all-permissions */
    perms.add(new AllPermission());
or - you can just remove the Security Manager:
    System.setSecurityManager(null);

  • Getting SQL*Net more data from client waits when running a query through web based interface

    Hi, you all,
We are having this weird behavior when running query through web based interface, we get a lot of "SQL*Net more data from client" waits, the OEM indicates that the current wait event is SQL*Net more data from client
It's just a very simple query wich invokes a db link.
When I execute the same query on any PL/SQL tool like toad or sql developer it works fine, but that query inside an application executed through a web based interface, it hangs for ever.
Where can I start looking for the problem.
We are working on a 3 Node RAC 11gr2, both databases are on the same RAC.
    Thanks.

    Hi ,
we managed to reproduce the case in test environment, below are the steps:
1)have 2 databases on different machines, will call the first one local, the other one remote.
    2)in the local database create:
a - DBLink to remote database.
b - read data from remote database(we simply used select count(*) from dummy_table )
c - insert data into a table on the local database
d - terminate the connection between the 2 databases (disconnect either machine from the network)
e - commit on local database.
what we noticed was the following:
1)when the local database is disconnected from the network(the machine is not connected to any network at the moment): almost immediately throws an error, and issuing the following:
select * from dba_2pc_pending;we found some data .
    2) when the remote database was disconnected(the local database is still connected to the network):
after 7-8 seconds an error is thrown, and issuing the following:
select * from dba_2pc_pending;did not return any data.
since this is pretty similar to our case ,we concluded that it's a network issue.
is this the correct behavior ?
as a temporary solution till the network issue is fixed ,we did the following:
    1) changed the call of the remote procedure to calling a local procedure that calls the remote procedure.
    2) added pragma autonomous_transaction to the local procedure.
    3) at the end of the local procedure rollback the autonomous transaction.
it seems that since the global transaction does not use the DBLink database does not issue a 2PC commit.
this works in my cases since the DBLink is only issed to read data.

  • Changing Batch Management Level from Material to Plant

    Hi all,
We are investigating changing our batch management level from material to plant to meet business requirements.
SAP has pointed us to a note with a program to reset the batch level, as well as highlighting some things to look out for.
I've conducted the change in a playpen system and so far it looks relatively straightforward, with complexities arising only when characteristics exist, or when a batch exists in multiple plants.
Seems that batch master data is moved from MCH1 to MCHA, including the object link number to classification. Unfortunately it seems a limitation of the conversion is that the batch master data is copied to ONE plant only in MCHA, no doubt due to the fact the object number link to classification must be unique.
My question is this: has anyone performed this change before, and if so can you offer me any advice on what to look out for, or potential problems that arose after the change?
Any help or comments are appreciated.
    Mark.

    hi..
first of all try this simple one...
You will have to delete all the materials, remove stock and then switch the batch management flag.
    Or
To convert the batch from plant level to material there is Conversion Program defind by the SAP...
    1. For all releases lower than Release 4.5B, implement the corrections and the modification in the report RM07CHDX as described in the correction instructions.
    2. Create the report ZCHTCUCH, which is specified in the attachment.
    3. Run this report in the clients for which you want to reset batch level to plant level.
    4. Call transaction OMCT.
    5. Check whether the batch level for "Batch unique at plant level" is set.
    6. Implement Notes 821891, 944278, 950540 and 1091613 if you have not already done so (or you have not imported the corresponding Support Package).
    7. Execute the function "Batch Level -> Conversion".
    8. Define a plant for a plant view that may be missing.
    9. Always execute the report in the test mode first. Analyze the error log.
    10. If no errors occur, you can execute the report in production mode.
    11. If you are working with batch long texts, first execute the report ZM07CHDX_TEXT in test mode.
    try this out..hope is works,,

  • ERROR: NO_GUEST: Guest login not allowed from client startup

we are getting the following error with express 6.3.4 when connectting to the express server from Objects using a connection editor.
    The error message is
Error #12150 in XPCUBE: Non-fatal (0300): Data Manager is unable to generate transmission.
Error #10300 in XDMRESP: Non-fatal (0300): ERROR: NO_GUEST: Guest login not allowed from client startup
Encountered similar error while calling from OLAP web application.
In stored procedure XWD_RAMSTARTUP: The following Express
Server error occurred: NO_GUEST: Guest login not allowed from
    client startup
Which I believe is the same reason.
Can you pls suggest what could be the problem and how can we over come this.

In the Connection Editor, under "Relational Data-> Settings" did you check the "Personal Configuration" box?
If you did, you should ensure the Authentication type is not set to "None".

  • SQL*Net message from client - huge wait in trace file

    Dear All,
I am facing a performance issue in a particular operation ( which was completed in 21 Minutes earlier). Now the same operation takes more than 35 Minutes. I took a trace for those session ( 10046 level 12 trace ) and found Lot of waits in SQL*Net message from client.
Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total Waited
    ---------------------------------------- Waited ---------- ------------
    SQLNet message from client 611927 10.00 1121.35*
I copied only the highest wait in the tkprof output.
And I found from the tkprof and even in raw trace file this event waits more time after excuting
    SELECT sysdate AS SERVERDATE from dual;
Elapsed times include waiting on following events:
Event waited on Times Max. Wait Total Waited
    ---------------------------------------- Waited ---------- ------------
    SQL*Net message to client 115 0.00 0.00
    SQLNet message from client 115 10.00 724.52*
Please help me to find out why this wait taking long time, especially on the above query..

    Regards,
VinodhGood idea to check the raw trace file. It is important to notice that this particular wait event appears after the fetch of the result from the database. The client receives the SYSDATE from the database server, and then the client performs some sort of action for about 10 seconds before submitting its next request to the database. The SQL statement that immediately follows and immediately preceeds this section of the trace file might provide clues regarding what caused the delay, and where that delay resides in the client side code. Maybe a creative developer added a "sleep for 10 seconds" routine when intending to sleep for 10ms? Maybe the client CPU is close to 100% utilization?

  • Hyper-V Manager missing from tools menu

I've just installed a new domain. It has one domain controller (Windows Server 2012 R2), SVR0 and one Hyper-V Server (not the Hyper-V role...Hyper-V Server), SVR1. I joined SVR1 to the domain and now I wan to manage it from a Windows 8.1 client. I've installed
RSAT on the client and I can open Server Manager no problem. The problem that I am having is that there is no sign of Hyper-V manager anywhere. Server Manager knows that SVR1 is a Hyper-V server but still there are no Hyper-V Manager links anywhere. I was
expecting it to show up in the tools menu on Server Manager but it did not. I made sure that Hyper-V management feature is installed on SVR1, but still nothing.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,
After you setup the Hyper-V server did you create the external and all that external virtual switch has configured as “Allow management operating system to share this network
    adapter” ?
If you want the Hyper-V can be managed by Server Manager that is running on a remote server, you need to enable your local server to run the Windows PowerShell cmdlet
    Configure-SMRemoting.exe –Enable.
If you want to use RSAT Please reconfirm you firewall configure correctly and disable your Hyper-V server firewall and use the domain administrator account to try the management,
    thanks.

  • Running Pro*C from client machine

    Hi
I trying to run a Pro*c program which tries to connect to DB which is running on different server.
While running this I am getting "ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error".
One suggestion I found that Pro*C application should run on DB server.
is there any workaround so that we can run pro*C from client machine?
Or running on server is only possibility?
    Thanks
    Shailesh

Sorry, I may have misunderstood your problem. I believe that this issue has to do with your tnsnames.ora file. You need to configure your DB to be able to talk to the Pro*C program. In order to do this, you need to set up an LISTENER for EXTERNAL_PROC (for external processes). This is automatically created when you install the DB. You can also create a listener using Network configuration manager. You just need to specify the proctocol, IPC or TCP/IP and the KEY = extproc (can be anything)
listener.ora (techobs.com is just the domain name)
    LISTENER =
    (DESCRIPTION_LIST =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC0))
TNSNAMES.ora where you you must specify the SID for the external proc
    EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA.TECHOBS.COM =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(Key = EXTPROC0))
    (CONNECT_DATA = (SID = extp))
Note: I learned this when doing the installation of OC. If I am wrong, I would hope that somebody would show me where because this is Oracle DBA.

  • WLC management with wifi Clients

    Hi,
my topology is based upon 2 WLC 4402 in the same mobility group and RF group.
The strange behaviour that i'm having is that, after I enabled the management via wifi, i can only access the WLC connected to the AP I'm associated.
I tryied to move the my AP to the other WLC and in this situation, i can only access the other WLC.
Is that a normal behaviour ? It seems like the WLC does not accept management connection from the wifi network if they come from the ethernet port.
    many thanks and regards
    Luigi

    Hi everybody
    > I've seen also that I cannot ping the management
    > interface from the L3 catalyst the controller is
    > connected if the source interface of these ping
    > is a VLAN different from the management VLAN.
We're experiencing the same thing with the following adaptation:
    - We can't ping the controller's management interface from the L3 Switch if the source interface is different from the management VLAN AND it's one of the wireless VLANs.
    - We can ping the controller's management interface from the L3 Switch if the source interface is different from the management VLAN AND if this VLAN is not used for wireless clients.
So, I guess this has to do with the note mentioned above ("Wireless clients cannot manage another wireless controller with which they are not associated.").
=> i.e. the controller can't distinguish whether the ping is from the L3 Switch, a wired PC in that VLAN, or from a wireless client. Consequently, the controller blocks all requests coming from a wireless VLAN but through the LAN interface...?!
Also, the bug-id mentioned above explains why this was working with 4.0.155.5.
Anyway, for me this restriction is a bit strange...

    Lukas
