Manage Multiple accounts

I have done this before but cant remember where to do it.  I have an employee that has left and I need his email.  I can go into exchange and take over his account and it automatically comes into outlook.  Its only a few steps but I cant
remember.

 Hi,
Glad that you have found what you want.
However, I’d like to say the best practice is to get the full access and send as permission to the mailbox and add it as the additional mailbox in your profile.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
Thanks,

  • Managing multiple accounts

I am about to need a second iTunes account for my work. What info do I really need to know about managing 2 accounts? RE: using both accounts on 1 computer (does it affect either library?)? authorizing my coworkers' computers? do I need a separate iPod for the 2nd account? Any info from a "whiz" would be appreciated!!

    Welcome to AD!
My advice is to NOT make a 2nd account. It seems to cause nothing but problems for those who have multiple iTS accounts. You can never combine accounts later - each purchase has the account info embedded into it.
Whyever would you authorize your coworker's PCs?

  • Managing multiple accounts in Mail.app

I would like to be able to send from an email address (e.g. [email protected]), have all of the email sent to that same address ([email protected]), and not get double downloads of the message from my email client (Mail.app).
So if I get an email to [email protected], I want it forwarded to [email protected] I use the email forwarder...no problem...works great.
If the account [email protected] is not "active" in Mail.app, then I cannot send mail from that account, but if it is active, then I get the same message downloaded twice, once on the [email protected] and once at the [email protected] where it was forwarded to.
How do I solve this problem? I want to send from an email address but not get incoming messages downloaded twice b/c of the email forwarder.

You're undoubtedly better off to set the mail on the server to forward to your central account, and only maintain one account in Mail. Trying to set up rules in Mail to download mail and then forward it is just going to become cumbersome, and runs the risk of creating some kind of infinite mail loop. (For example, someone sends something to one address, it gets forwarded but for some reason your primary account's mailbox is full. The other address gets the bounce notification and forwards it back to the primary, which generates another bounce... you see where this is going, I'm sure.

  • Methods to managing multiple devices and accounts.

My wife just got a new iPhone.  this is added to my iPhone and a few iPod touches for the kids.  Between cloud accounts, apple accounts, itunes accounts,  . . . What is the best way to manages multiple accounts and what is the differentiation between the different accounts?  I am not even sure what accounts are available.  Is my Apple account different from my iTunes account?  Apple ID seems to be everywhere.  So I need my wife to have her own Apple ID, this I believe to be true.  But what about syncing to the general iTunes account. We have one iMac with all our music on it.  How can she sync with her Mac Book for contacts or what ever and sync to the family iTunes account for music.  I am so confused?  Help.
    Thank you,

How to use multiple iPods, iPads, or iPhones with one computer

  • Managing multiple itunes accounts on a single computer

I have an iPod and an iPad that use a single iTunes account on a certain PC. I have a second iPod that I have setup on a second computer which also has its own separate iTunes account (because at the time I didn't understand you can manage multiple devices from a single account/computer). This second iPod has iPod apps I have purchased from my second iTunes account. I would like to change this and manage my second iPod from my main computer (so everything lives in one place). When I hooked the second iPod up to my main computer I picked the option to "transfer purchases to this computer". It acted like it was doing it, but I noticed nothing transferred. I unplugged the device and plugged it back in, and a dialogue box told me this iPod contained 33 applications that were NOT authorized to play on this computer and would not transfer them. It said I needed to authorize the computer to do that. My PC is already authorized with my main account and I don't want to mess that up. Can I authorize my computer for my second itunes account and have it authorized for both? Am I allowed to take apps I've purchased for the ipod that is on account 1 and install any of those apps on the ipod that is associated with account 2? I've purchased all these apps, I just did not understand from the get go that there was no need for me to setup 2 completely different itunes accounts. The second iPod I am going to give to my young daughter as a toy, but I absolutely don't want to mess up my iPad and first iPod as I use them for work on a daily basis. Any help would be appreciated.

+Can I authorize my computer for my second itunes account and have it authorized for both?+
Yes. Sign out of the itunes store under the first account, then _sign back in_ with 2nd.
+I just did not understand from the get go that there was no need for me to setup 2 completely different itunes accounts.+
Don't worry, lots of people made this same mistake. It will be kind of a hassle remembering to authorize both accounts in the future, but it's manageable. You know that license agreement that comes up after an itunes update? I think you'll have to go in under both accounts and agree to it from now on.

    See this line?
+If the iTunes Store purchases on your device were purchased with multiple accounts, you will need to authorize the computer for each one.+
    That's what I'm talking about.

  • Managing multiple iOS devices on different Apple accounts from the same iMac

May be a very simple question to answer, but can I manage multiple iOS devices on different Apple accounts from the same iMac?
I ask as whilst I'm totally Mac'd, my partner who has her own Apple account has a Winows laptop and experiences problems updating iOS software on her iPhone 4S and iPad 3 Gen via the laptop. I'm thinking the problems may be overcome if we manage her iOS devices through my iMac.

Thanks dwb .... I thought there'd be a catch .... not to keen on all that media and apps on my iMac!
The specific problem is that whenever she updates to the latsest version of iOS using the latest iTunes for Windows on her PC laptop she seems to lose something in the process. One time she lost all her texts and the other day when updating to 5.1.1 she lost all her reminders. Not the end of the world but frustrating and shouldn't really happen and doesn't happen to me using the iMac and OSX.

  • Managing multiple Office 365 accounts

    Hi
Does anyone have a good solution to managing multiple Office 365/Exchange 365 accounts? I provide IT services to a number of small businesses, all unrelated and I am responsible for over 6 separate instances of Office 365 (mostly Exchange, a couple also
have sharepoint) for clients. I also use it myself (Exchange and Sharepoint).
My issue is that as soon as I log into a client admin portal, it removes my authentication to my own or other accounts and I cannot use my own sharepoint or Exchange online services. I can only be logged in to one. As all my business runs in Sharepoint and
Exchange, this is very annoying. Outlook is OK, its authentication doesn't change when I log in as someone else (Outlook Web Access does obviously). I never had this issue with BPOS, the SSO application kept my business systems online even when I logged into
a client portal but now that there is no SSO, I dont have this luxury. My IE homepages are all my Office 365 portal pages and if I log in as another client, they all log into the client next time.
I need an intermediate portal interface that allows me to store credentials for each client separately and allow me to log into multiple online services accounts without affecting other accounts. I often find myself needing to access 2-3 accounts at the
same time and have to use different browsers for each one (it is close but not quite 100% in Firefox or Chrome). Does such a system exist? Surely I am not alone in managing many accounts at the same time. I can run multiple powershell sessions independently
but I dont want to do everything through powershell all the time and cannot log in as the client to check things this way.
    Regards
    Ben

If you want to work on your computer with different office 365 accounts, you don't need to run different browsers!
Since IE8 there is a hidden function called "New Session". It works great for SharePoint Online and it works if you want to login with different credentials to you SharePoint OnPremise during testing. I love it!

  • Managing Multiple Galleries (i.e. multiple MobileMe accounts)

I have a family MobileMe account and wish to manage some of the family members' galleries from iPhoto. I know that I can have multiple iPhoto libraries if necessary, but have not been able to figure out how to manage multiple MobileMe accounts (and their galleries) via iPhoto. Any tips?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. The best approach to managing multiple MMe accounts on one Mac is to have multiple User account on that Mac, one for each MMe account. That also would require multiple libraries unless you will have all of the photos in one. If that's the case you can move the library to the Shared folder and access it there from each account.
In each account log into the appropriate MMe account via the System/MobileMe preference pane. Then enable fast user switching via the System/Accounts pane to make it easy to switch user account.

  • How do I manage multiple iCloud accounts for personal iCloud Drive & personal calling?

Yosemite has the ability now to make and receive phone calls as well as to use an iCloud Drive to share documents across devices (similar to DropBox, but as you will see with one major customization flaw).  These are wonderful featurew, however, unless I am following the directions incorrectly my computer with Yosemite has to have the same iCloud account as is used on my iPhone for iMessage (for calling) and for virtually everything else for iCloud Drive (ie there is no way to set-up a separate iCloud account for iCloud Drive).
Now for iMessage I use a private iCloud account, but for the iPhone itself I actually use an iCloud account shared with my family.  Why?  Because when we use a shared iCloud account we can share a number of things here such as:
Location  on Find iPhone.  This works way better than find my friends and also makes it easy for us to lock a device if it's stolen since all of us know how to do this.
Calendar not critical, but allows us to put some family events here
Notes, Very cool as we can share shopping lists which is very helpful when you show up at the grocery and want to know what to get or to Costco etc
Reminders Also very cool as we can create reminders for each other for when we get home or whatever
Files on iCloud Drive Yes there are some files that it would be nice to share and we can do this (ideally there would be multiple accounts for this)
Now I haven't really used iCloud Drive much but you can easily imagine how some documents I might want to share with the family on iCloud while other's I might not.
Now when you switch your Facetime iCloud account to the same as the iPhone that is one private iCloud account shared with an application on another device that uses the same iCloud account.  That is NO PROBLEM.  However, the minute you activate the ability to call phones it requires that you now have the SAME iCloud account in the main computer.  Now BINGO I have a problem as noted above I want to be able to share certain things with other devices.
Does anyone have a solution or workaround?
Otherwise it seems the only thing to suggest is that Apple consider a feature enhancement that allows you to make cell calls from your computer WITHOUT switching the iCloud account to the main account.  For that matter it would be very useful if they could figure out how to partition the iCloud features so that I can decide which iCloud account does what or like DropBox give permissions for certain things and allow the individual users to decide what they want and don't want.
    Thanks.

    Gail,
No you are not being dense, you are just trying to be helpful.  I may not have explained the problem very well.  Setting up a Family iCloud account works great!  However, if that account name is also used for your iMessage, Facetime, and now cellular calls you have an issue with your calls going to the entire family (or worse the thing just not working), your iMessages if multiple phone numbers are trying to use the same icloud account usually get messed up, and their Facetime accounts might end up showing up as you instead of them.  In fact, I think you can't call your family members in this situation and I'm not sure iMessage works very well either.  So what everyone does is create a personal iCloud account for personal features such as iMessage, FaceTime, etc.
Now in theory I could co-opt the Family iCloud account for my calls, but then no one else would be able to use the call feature, because unless I'm mistaken you can't have multiple phone numbers attached to the call Forward and still have them recognize which calls to forward to which phones.    If they don't care for this feature it might work (I'm experimenting now), but I don't think that's what Apple intended.
It is possible to do a switch, which may be what you are suggesting.  This would involve creating a separate profile on the computer that is used for making phone calls.  I would, however, still need to co-opt the iCloud account for just my number and worse I wouldn't be able to make any calls unless I was in that profile.  One of the great advantages of calling from your computer is that you make the call while you are working on something else which is inevitably your work or your personal stuff which is NOT likely to be in the newly created family profile.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I hope this helps you understand either how little I understand of your suggestion or why it doesn't quite meet my needs.

  • Better management of multiple accounts on Mail.app

When using multiple accounts on Mail.app, it is possible to have different colors for each account, so that it is easier to avoid sending email from the wrong account?

  • GR and GR Non Val indicator in R/3 PO for multiple account assigned SC's

    Hi,
    We are on SRM 3.0(EBP 4.0) and R/3 4.7.
We have implemented the BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK badi for setting or clearing the GR and IR indicators under certian conditions.
But for Multiple account assigned SC's we get an error message "06181 With non-valuated GR, please also enter GR i ndicator ".
We have tried implementing note# 872000, but this has not solved the issue.
The PO's get created only if we force the GR indicator when transferring the data into R/3.
It seems clear that while creating the PO the system is encountering the GR Non Val indicator but not the GR indicator, so its throwing the error message (we get the same error message when we create the PO from R/3 with GRnon val indicator checked and GR ind unchecked).
The proposed solution is that in the same BADI, along with clearing the GR indicator, we will also clear the GR non val indicator.
This can solve the issue if the indicators are transferred as it is from EBP.
But can anyone tell me if these indicators are also checked/changed in any FM/program in R/3 before the PO is created?
Is there any customizing setting which is affecting this particular behaviour?
    Regards,
    Srivatsan

    Hi Srivatsan ?
In ECC, you have a configuration point :
Materials Management->Account Assignment->Maintain Account Assignment Categories
    Here you can untick the indicator you want by account assignment category;
    Kind regards,
    Yann
