Manage new Aironet 1130 with web browser

Hello,
I bought a wi-fi Aironet 1130AG, I plug it in my network, it gets an IP address with my DHCP server but I can not manage it with my internet browser, "Internet Explorer can not display this page ". Wifi terminal responds to ping.
Thank you for your help.
Anthony

When you recieve brand new AP you should be able to console into it.
Just to evaluate what you really have we need to have console output :
May be the IOS image is corrupted for example.
If after checking the console and making sure that nothing wrong , i would say re-image the AP using console session.
check the following link for more information on how to download ios image to the AP:

  • How do I get a link within a PDF to open a new tab in a web browser?

    How do I get a link within a PDF to open a new tab in a web browser? Previous forums (for earlier versions of InDesign and Acrobat) mention something about JavaScript, but I'm using InDesign CC and Adobe Acrobat Pro CC
    Thanks.

    When you're looking at the PDF that's on your site, is it opened in the browser or directly i Acrobat/Reader? If in the borwser, do you know if it's being viewed in the browser's default PDF viewer or Acrobat/Reader? It probably won't work in non-Adobe PDF viewers.
    Are you saying that when you click the link that two new browser tabs are opened with the same URL, instead of just one as you'd expect, or something else?

  • New Install - Can access the internet but not with Web Browser

    I just installed Solaris 10 11/06 with my new Ultra 20 M2 workstation. I can ping, complete NSLOOKUP commands on public domain names and can telnet; however, when I try to use the browser it says it cannot connect to the internet. I made sure of the following:
    - Web Browser is not using proxy
    - resolv.conf is accurate
    - defaultrouter is accurate
    - hosts, hostname.. are good
    - netmasks is fine.
    Any thoughts? thanks for your help.

    Is there a firewall between the server and the internet, try telneting the fully qualified domain name again but on port 80 (or 8080) (i.e. telnet www.yahoo.com 80), do you have another machine on this network that can access the internet through a browser (if so check it's settings) also if you have an intranet see if the browser can access that, if these don't work then the problem is settings\config in your browser.
    also try a traceroute and see where the packets are routed and how many hops it takes.

  • Adobe Reader clashing with web browser, problem. Help

    Hello,
    I've been using Foxit Reader before using Adobe Reader. Now when i'm trying to view pdf files in firefox there is this error showing "The Adobe Reader cannot be used to view pdf files in a web browser". I've tried reinstalling adobe reader but this problem persists. Below is a screenshot of the problem. This might be a bug in the program as i have done the needful and set adobe as the deafult pdf file manager or the web browser might be clashing with this version of adobe reader. I'm not sure why this is happening and would like someone to educate me on this.
    Please let me know of any solution to this problem. I'm on Windows XP.
    Thanks,
    Ritwick

  • WRT350N Losing connection with web browser after running Bittorrent client

    My Setup:
    HP Pavillion Dual Core Desktop PC 2GB Memory
    Windows Vista Premium Home
    Linksys Wireless WUSB G Adapter for my destop
    Time Warrner Cable Modem - Webstar Model
    I have had a WRT54G for a long time, and it has been flawless, I decided to buy a Refurbed by Linksys WRT350N because I anticipate getting a new device and devices that will use the Draft N Standard.  Anyhow, I have it set to narrowband to use ONLY Wireless G, have it set up as i Did with my G Router to use WEP with Broadcast SSID ETC ETC, opened up all the same ports forwarded on it and made all same settings as in my WRT54G.
    Here is the problem:
    I typically use a Bittorrent client to download large files to my computer, specifically UTorrent.    With my WRT54G I would get good speeds but even after a couple of hours I would still be able to start my Browser, IE or Firefox 3 and get, albeit slow, but still get my webpages to render.
    Now when UTorrent runs for a couple of hours with my WRT350N I load my web browser and I get a message that says "Cannot connect" or connection is timing out.  Sometimes it will load the page but looks more text like than HTML, and I attribute that to packet loss?
    Anyhow I did use Linksys Tech Support, and they suggested I changed my MTU to a lower setting instead of Auto which I did and it didnt make a difference, welL i shouldnt say that I do get forecastfox to load on FIrefox where it didnt load before and sometimes I get the non html version of the pages to load.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am patient and LOVE a project and I have a feeling this is going to be one.

    Actually that is what I was doing last night and got a bad flash and bricked my router..so its on its way back to Linksys...

  • Any new ideas for launching web browser from application

    I have searched the forums trying to find a new way of launching a web browser from a java application. The problem I am having is that on Unix and Linux systems, at least the variety I have access to (not quite sure on what that variety those are as they are not my systems or systems I control), the common method of using Runtime.getRuntime().exec(STRING) with either netscape or mozilla does not work. While using the Runtime.exec method is not the same as a console, I did try on these systems "netscape + A_WEB_ADDRESS" (or mozilla) and it did launch the respective browser with the page, so it appears that at least from the console level, those commands are valid.
    All the forums seem to say that the Runtime.exec method is the way to go. All the source code I have found through links from the forum say the same thing. I have voted on this bug:
    http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4210168.html
    and the feedback there does seem to indicate that there is similar trouble out there. Below is the code I am using. It does work on Win2000,XP, and Mac OSX. The application is not supported on earlier systems, and as it stands it will not work on Win 95,98, nor ME. Only small modification should be needed for work on those OSs, but as I no longer personally use those OSs, I cannot be sure.
    private void openNativeBrowser(String url) {
    // not the browser itself is started, i only call something like
    // start http://www.javasoft.com
    // and then the standardbrowser will be started ...
    StringBuffer call = new StringBuffer();
    System.err.println(System.getProperty("os.name"));
    System.err.println(System.getProperty("user.dir"));
    try {
    // which OS ?
    String operatingSystem = System.getProperty("os.name");
    // how to call the OS
    if (operatingSystem.toLowerCase().indexOf("windows") > -1)
    call.append("cmd /c start ").append(url);
    else
    if (operatingSystem.toLowerCase().indexOf("mac") > -1)
    call.append("open ").append(url + " &");
    else if(operatingSystem.toLowerCase().indexOf("linux") > -1)
    // use Script 'netscape'
    call.append("mozilla ").append(url).append(" &");
    else
    call.append("netscape ").append(url).append(" &");
    System.err.println(call.toString());
    // start it ...
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec(call.toString());
    catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println(e.getMessage());
    e.printStackTrace();
    As I said, if you have a new way to call the broswer that seems to work on either Unix or Linux, please post it, point to it, or explain it.
    Aaron

    there is a shell script on Linux called htmlview that you can launch like this:
    String[] cmd = {"htmlview", "http://java.sun.com"};
    try {
        Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);
    } catch (IOException ioe) {
        // do something
    }which will open the default browser. Don't think this is available on other *NIX though, although the script itself would probably work so you could include it with your app (/usr/bin/htmlview).

  • Java Thread communication with web browser

    Hi All,
    I am facing a kind of problem, which i dont know if its a bug or the configuration setting in the web browser
    I have opened a server socket connection, that listens to a request coming from the browser(i.e the URL) and when request comes a new thread is being created..
    The problem is that when I enter a URL in the browser, it is being received by the socket but the thread runs into an infinite loop,for a specific period of time..
    What could be the problem,
    any help shall be appreciated..

    Most likely It's browser, some browsers open multiple connection to the server, for performance reasons. IE does it, try other browsers and see.

  • Brand new iMac: super slow web browsing

    Brand new iMac is super slow while browsing the web.
    We have cable internet, and the iMac is connected via ethernet cable to an Airport Extreme router. We have a Windows machine connected to the same router.
    The Windows machine loads web pages extremely quickly, the iMac takes 20 seconds to a minute to load anything.
    Clearly there is a settings problem on the iMac. No idea what.
    It isn't the router.
    It isn't the broadband connection.
    It isn't the DNS server.
    Please help!

    I'm not sure if you understood my original post, however, I will re-iterate it here.
    I have several machines connected to the same network.
    MacBook Pro
    Windows machine
    iMac.
    Only the iMac exhibits any problems.
    Clearly, the ISP is not the issue. The iMac is connected via Ethernet to the same router as the PC.
    Clearly the Mac is the problem.
    Changing DNS server has no effect.

    1.Hi Carlo,
    I came to know that the fix for the bug CSCsl22021 should be available from the Cisco website, this month, ie, in March. However, as indicated earlier, the fix is in the testing phase, as of now.

    2.Hi Carlo,
    Thank you for the update.
    I researched on the issue and got the following details:
    Our case is being hit by a bug. For the details, please visit http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit and enter the bug id as CSCsl22021.
    As of now, its the test code that is available as the fix, and it requires additional testing on it. If you wish, we can send you the test code, however, we cannot provide guarantee for it work without any flaws in the production environment. Otherwise, you may downgrade the existing IOS by downloading code from http://tinyurl.com/yqc4sx. You may downgrade to 12.3.8-JEA3(LD).
    Please feel free to contact me for any clarification.

  • Trouble with web browser

    I'm trying to use Safari on a Pc, but why is it that the main Apple page disappeared. and now it showss MSN home page?

    The jquery is there to animate the marquee, so even without the JS file the div container should still be showing up right? Part of the video tutorial said to switch to "live view" to make sure one of the div containers was positioning correctly, and when I do this nothing happens. It works for the guy on the tutorial so I am not sure what I am doing differently. Since it is not working at this point I have not added the jQuery, should I just assume it is a JQuery problem and continue on? I just don't understand why it is showing up in design view but just a blank white page in live view.

  • Open a URL in default web browser's new window

    HI
    As i have posted a question in my previous post
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5235957&tstart=200
    I have formulate a code for that as follows :->
    String url= "http://www.google.com";
    String os = System.getProperty("os.name").toLowerCase();
            Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
            try{
                   if (os.indexOf( "wie" ) >= 0) {
                                        // this doesn't support showing urls in the form of "page.html#nameLink"
                rt.exec( "rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler " + url);
                 } else if (os.indexOf( "mac" ) >= 0) {
                     rt.exec( "open " + url);
                 } else if (os.indexOf( "nix") >=0 || os.indexOf( "nux") >=0) {
                                  // Do a best guess on unix until we get a platform independent way
                                    // Build a list of browsers to try, in this order.
               String[] browsers = {"epiphany", "firefox", "mozilla", "konqueror",
                                              "netscape","opera","links","lynx"};
         // Build a command string which looks like "browser1 "url" || browser2 "url" ||..."
                    StringBuffer cmd = new StringBuffer();
                  for (int i=0; i<browsers.length; i++)
              cmd.append( (i==0  ? "" : " || " ) + browsers[i] +" \"" + url + "\" ");
                      rt.exec(new String[] { "sh", "-c", cmd.toString() });
                              }catch (IOException e){
                                 System.out.println("OS not compatible");
                                         }but it opens a page in already last opened window...and over writes it ....
    what i required to open it in a new window of the web browser
    so please suggest me the way to do it....
    Thanks
    vivek
    .

    you can open browsers new window using jdic...
    unfortunately Desktop.browse() doesnt allow to do that, but we can do that another way:
            String urlToOpen = "http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5236723";
            BrowserService browserService = (BrowserService) ServiceManager.getService(ServiceManager.BROWSER_SERVICE);
            try {
                // exactly "_blank" allow to open necessary url in a new window :)
                browserService.show(new URL(urlToOpen), "_blank");
            } catch (LaunchFailedException e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
            } catch (MalformedURLException e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
            }

  • About the terrible web browser..

    Hi.
    I just discovered two problems with web browser. First, we can't open new tabs.
    Second, I can't use this board : http://forums.jeuxonline.info/forumdisplay.php?f=189 I don't know how to describe the problem.. When I type, the words don't appear above the keyboard. Then, when I send the message, there is an error telling i typed no words..
    Anyone capable of solving the first or the other problem?
    Thanks

    Possible answer to the first problem. Does anyone know a website with a link opening an almost blank(=leading to a rapid loading page) new tab?

  • Can't Web Browse to 6900 series phones running firmware 9.4.1.3 on cisco CME

    Hi
    I'm having issues with web browseing to cisco IP phones.
    Historically we could web browse to a a basic settings/ dianostics page of the phone by simiply browseing to the phones IP address.
    However after an upgrade to SCCP firmware 9.4.1.3 this is no longer possible? I have tested from the same lan/subnet but still it refuses connections. Did a telnet using port 80 and this is also refused.
    Was this feature removed in the later firmware? I have always found this feature usful especially when doing degugging and remote testing.
    If it is still possible to web to them does anyone know how this is enabled. I'm searching around but not found a solution yet.
    Thanks
    Simon

    I think web access disabled by default started in 9.3(3) for these phone models:
