Manage workitems which are in Process

Hi All,
There are many workitems in SAP inbox that are in process.
Do we have any way to archive these items as number of workitems are huge and its causing very slow performance for the inbox. is there any way we can manage the workitems in inbox which are in progress?

It's normal. You will receive a prompt indicating that the management pack presents a security risk. This is due to the management pack’s use of agent proxying. Click
Yes to allow the import.
That's happened in Exchange management pack or SQL Management pack to can monitor all virtual hosts.
Yes, you should continue to install Management pack.

i want to know if both SAP memory and ABAP memory are not present then in which area Background processes will be executed.
erm, they are always present. Processes do not execute "in" these 2 memories. I advise you to read some reference documentation: [SAP library: Functions of the SAP Memory Management System|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/02/96279d538111d1891b0000e8322f96/frameset.htm]
The only difference I know between dialog and background is the sequence in which the roll, extended and heap memories are allocated.

How do i check the list of invoices which are not posted into sap.

Iam displaying(ALV) the list of invoices and epayments for both PO & non PO transactons which are being processed in workflow but not posted in sap.
(Non po transaction is th eone with out reference of a PO)
How to check and list out the invoices that are not posted in sap. where does this get stored.

Hello Jyothi,
U can give try with EKBE table for getting invoices for PO. In this table there is a field vgabe which has various status. U can try that. Now for Non PO, u would be directly creating invoice doucment using FB60(i guess) which would create an entry directly into BKPF/BSEG. U can scan BKPF for the date range company code document type KR which vendor invoice.

Stopping channels which are in polling status

If we have a sender file adatper channel which is currently reading a file. If we stop the channel, does this stop the polling of the file.
LIkewise for a receiver channel, if we stop a channel midway through writing a file, does the file only get partially created.

Just Try to replicate the scenarios. You would understand the basic phenomina of polling files.

Eventhough you stop the channel, it will complete the one which are under process.
Q 2) LIkewise for a receiver channel, if we stop a channel midway through writing a file, does the file only get partially created.
It will complete writing the files.

ALE business processes are integrated business processes that run across distributed systems. This can be two different SAP systems, links between SAP and non-SAP systems, SAP and Web-servers (Internet Application Components) or SAP and desktop applications. The links between the systems may be loosely (asynchronous) or tightly (synchronous) coupled. These business processes are release independent and can run between different release levels of the systems.
Many SAP applications offer ALE distribution processes. The following list gives some examples:

How to use viewslifetime managed property to get the list of sites which are least accessed?

I am trying to get the subsites of a site collection which are least accessed. I am using ViewsLifeTime managed property in a content search web part with a condition like this:
ViewsLifeTime < 0
OR
ViewsLifeTime = 0.
However, It is not giving any results. I even tried with ViewsLifeTime < 10. I have some subsites which are accessed less than 10 times. I came to know this when I saw the value of ViewsLifeTime
property.
Can anyone suggest how to add a condition on ViewsLifeTime property?

Standard Manager executing other programs which are not INCLUDED .

hello guys,
We are having eBiz 11.5.9 environment and 9.2.0.6 Database on AIX 5.3 32-bit environment.
I am new to this client's environment and found that, there are 3 include specialization rules defined for Standard Manager which does not include "Active Responsibilities" program but still this Standard Manager is executing "Active Responsibilities" without any issues.
How is this possible ???
Ideally, Standard Manager should only run those 3 included programs ONLY and for rest of the programs which are not assigned to any of the concurrent manager , we should get "INACTIVE/No Manager" message.
My 2nd question is, when I am running this oracle seeded script $FND_TOP/sql/afrqscm.sql which shows the manager assigned to the perticular request id, it gives the below output,(Below is request id is for "Active Responsibilities")

In our environment , ALTS is DISABLED manager without having any specialization rules attached to it and its basically a "Backup standard manager".
I am wondering, what setup is required to have backup concurrent manager like ALTS which will take care of requests in case standard manager goes down ?????
Ebiz architecture is one Admin/conc/db Tier (Aix 32 bit) and 5 Web nodes ( RHEL Linux 32 bit).

My second doubt is resolved as even though there are no specialization rules assigned to ALTS manager , that means it is exactly the same as that of Standard Manager and will execute all the programs. Below is statement from your mentioned pdf ,

Regarding your first question, Yes , we do bounce managers once in a month , below is the status of those two conc programs which are INCLUDED in Standard Manager.

Where (which folder) are BPEL processes deployed?

As far as I know BPEL processes are deployed into the folder
<APPSERVERHOME>\bpel\domains\default\deploy
But much to my surprise there are NO processes inside.
On the contrary I found my searched process in the folder
<APPSERVERHOME>\bpel\domains\default\tmp
What is the difference between these folders?
Can I just delete singel processes from these folders in order to manually undeploy them?
Or is there no such "hot undeployment" but only the official one through
the BPEL console?

Hi,
The deploy directory is used only to deploy the BPEL process. Then the deployment is finished, the jar file is removed.
The tmp directory is used to store local copy of the build BPEL process. It contains all the bpel source and class files of your BPEL process.
If you delete the process from the tmp directory (.bpel_xxxx), the bpel engine will create it again at the next startup of your domain (when all the processes are loaded).
You have two ways to undeploy processes.
- The first one is from the BPEL console, but it is bit tricky when you have lots of processes.
- The second is from the BPEL API. Check the API for the IBPELDomainHandle Interface (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11036_01/integrate.1013/b28986/com/oracle/bpel/client/IBPELDomainHandle.html).
There is an undeployProcess() method which takes an IBPELProcessHandle. You can get this handle by using the listProcesses() method.

Please identify the versions of iPhoto and of the OS that yu have and exactly what yoru problem is
There are no photos in iPhoto that are not in an event - iPhoto works on a library basis and every photo in the iPhoto library is visible in an event and in photos view - there are no photos that are not in both
If you are seing something different then either you are looking in the incorrect place or you have a corrupted database - but to help you you need to provide details and symptons

Lets say I have 100 pictures in my iPhoto program but only two Events. In one Event, I have 20 pictures. In the other Event, I have 30 pictures.
All 100 photos are in an event and all 100 photos will show in photos view
