Managed Server not populating while installation in SOA server detail

I am facing an issue in installation of AIA. In the screen SOA server detail, managed server is not populating in dropdown option. I have installed Weblogic middle ware fusion in which admin server and managed server is running. Both are configured for by own machine and clustering is not done
I want to know these things.
1) Is there any problem with weblogic installation or configuration. Managed server and admin server is running fine
2) Do i need to configure node management to map admin server and managed server in fusion middleware?
3) Is there any compatibility mode issue? I am running the setup as administrator in window 7 OS for 32bit windows
Please help me in resolving this issue.
Thanks

Check for the following in your target soa server:
1. SOA components are correctly deployed.
2. soa-infra deployment is running and healthy.
3. node manager is able to start and stop the managed server properly.

Please ensure you click on Tables and Synonyms check box and select proper schema.
Try to select the table from the list after this instead of writing as in 10.1.3 when we write table name it automatically selects from the list if it exists in the list.

    Hi,
check for some spaces or character which might be going while you specify the JRE locations, alternatively you can call runInstaller with
-jreLoc ,i.e;have the path in the cmd.
    ./runInstaller -jreLoc /root/Oracle/Middleware/jdk160_14_R27.6.5-32
    which should work.

I searched the web and all problems on the web seems to be because installation media being a USB.But I am using a CD here.
Also I can't access other commands such as fdisk,etc... although simple commands like ls etc... works fine. Also md5sum and sha1sum does'nt return any errors.
I think the problem might be my cd drive is being recognized by some other name.(Just a guess, most of the problems that I came upon online is because of a naming problem.)

Konstantinos, this is only meant for your benefit, but perhaps archlinux isn't right for you yet.  Archlinux is targetted at users with a good bit of linux experience already.  We have phenomenal documentation, but all of that documentation has some basic assumptions about a users starting knowledge: how to fill in template/placeholder information in commands, how/when to run commands as root, etc.
The errors above suggest that you will have a hard time following the wiki and man page documentation - this will likely just lead to much greater frustration with archlinux even if you get it installed.  So perhaps tinker with some other distros for a while first.
But if you want to move forward, you need to be root (or use sudo) to write to block devices.  But as you failed to fill in the appropriate information in those commands, I worry that you would actually try to write to /dev/sdx rather than where you usb drive is.  The error message at the end suggests you did actually use /dev/sdc as the output, but is this your flash drive?

  • Desktop Manager will not run after installation

I have recently reinstalled Windows XP on my PC, so I am trying to get the Desktop Manager software back on to my computer. I have tried installing several times from the original software disk (version 4.2, I think) and have also tried downloading from the Blackberry website and from cnet, and even from the TMobile website. Each time I try, everything seems to install just fine, but when I try to open the desktop manager it does nothing, it's just a blank window that eventually just closes. When I try to open the Device Manager, I get an error message that says "This application has failed to start because libBBLaunchAgent.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." So I have tried re-installing over and over and every time I get the same result, no matter if I download from the disk or from any website. I have tried to search my computer for the .dll file but there are no results, even in hidden folders. I have done a google search of the .dll file and nothing comes up so I am completely lost and clueless. I have never had trouble installing this software on my PC, it just won't install since I have re-installed Windows. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks!

Try using the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to see if it helps out. Can read up on that and other things to try when Windows Installer gives errors from here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555175

It seems that you have to check "config.xml" in S:\bea\user_projects\db_dev_domain, not the one in S:\bea\user_projects\domain1\config.
Please check also that you have started the correct administrative instance (try also to log into the console to check the configuration).

Which version of weblogic and SOA suite have you installed? Which OS are you using? Check on em whether soa-infra is up?
BTW, for Oracle B2B related questions, you should raise threads in Oracle B2B forum -
    Integration - B2B
