Managed to restore Ipod but now don't have option to delete from it

After doing the same thing several times, I finally was able to restore the Ipod and it transferred all the music from Itunes again. Great Cheering! However, I now can't delete anything from the Ipod mini, only add things. Is there a button or is it yet another quirk?

Help!!
I was syncing music from cds to my ipod and it worked. i then tried syncing music from donwloads and it wiped out the cd songs. then vice versa. i restored the ipod and reset it to factory settings and now i cannot get the ipod to work again.
If i try the reset technique (holding menu and select) it then appears with a battery (thats quite low) with and electric bolt through it but is not charging.
I have tried the 5R's and nothing has happened. i have tried chargin it in usb port, mains charger (do not have a wall adapter) so i cannot use that. The ipod is not recognisable on the computer now
PLEASE HELP. THEY ARE CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

Thank you for asking your question! It sounds like you have erased your hard drive and want to re install Mavericks, but cannot remember your Apple ID. I would recommend this article to help you find it, although you will need another computer to use it and find your information:

Create a NEW account/ID for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

So, you need an older version of the iOS app, because the current version no longer works on your iPod touch.
If you do regular backups of your hard drive (as you should), such as by using Apple's built-in Time Machine (if you use a Mac), you may find the older version of the app in the backup archive, and restore it (replacing the newer version). They are stored in the iTunes Media folder, in the Mobile Applications sub-folder. You should then be able to sync the older version to your iPod touch.
I can't think of any other way to get it back...
NOTE: An 2nd gen iPod touch can run up to iOS 4.2.1. If your iPod touch is running something earlier, and that is why the app no longer works, you can also consider updating the iPod's iOS.
I use an even older iPhone (original). I avoid this potential problem by aways updating its apps on the iPhone, not in iTunes on the computer. When I do it on the iPhone, it will not download a newer version of an app that won't run on my old iPhone.

Connect the iOS device to your computer and restore via iTunes. Place the iPod in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

I restarted my Ipod Nano I'm trying to sync my library from my computer to my Ipod but I don't see the sync prompt

I grew impacient and since I couldn't transfer my Ipod Nano's songs to my computer and also I coudn't sync my existing library from my computer to my Ipod Nano, I decided to restore my Ipod, obviously in blanck. But I thoght that restoring my Ipod it would make easier to transfer the songs from my PC to my Ipod but I don't see any prompt o question to sync the library. I'm also wondering if when you restore the device you're also deleting the Operating System ?? (crap) I would really appreciate if somebody can help with this issue or I'm afraid I' need to buy a new one...

Police don't "track down" lost items, per se. They'll keep your information on file in the event that someone finds your iPod and turns it in. Otherwise, there's nothing the police can or will do in regards to finding lost property.

Windows or apple it makes no difference, if you don't have the install discs you can't install.
Did you buy the machine with Adobe (you don't say what adobe program you're talking about) installed? If so the vendor should have given you the discs or else it's technically a pirated copy. If you're talking about acrobat (which is free) then you should be able to find older versions on the adobe site.

Can I use Disk Utility on my Mac to restore my ipod. My ipod shows up on my harddrive but doesn't appear in Itunes. I cannot access any commands to set it back to factory defaults.
Maybe Disk Utility or a terminal command will work?
The disk is formated at a Fat32, but I don't have access to a PC anymore.

You can use Disk Utility to either repair the disk on the iPod or erase it and format it. Then restore it in iTunes.
