Management Point did not install during deployment

I found the 2007 client installed on this server prior to the install. I removed the client with /uninstall... however after the installation of CM 2012 the managment point did not install. It pointed me to the mpmsi.log. Below is that log. Has anyone run
into this issue before?

This normally means there is another install process in progress. So please restart the computer and try again. If no avail, check whether there is a process name msiexec running.

  • Management Point will not install

    Hi,
I am using Windows Server 2012, SQL 2012 with cu2 and SCCM 2012 sp1, and I have one Primary site which will host all site roles.
I am trying to install the Management Point (using HTTPS for client connections) but it fails.
I did have the SCCM 2007 client install on this server which was delivering windows updates and FEP 2010 to the server, so after seeing a similar proplem reported and looking throught the msisetup log which said a previous version was detected, I used ccmsetup
/uninstall to remove the client (which gets rid of it from control panel), and then removed the MP, rebooted and tried to install the MP again. However, the MP still wont install

Im having the same issue in our LAB's...
    Install is a Win 2012 + SCCM 2012 SP1 + MSSQL 2008R2 SP2
In this environment I had Win 2008R2 SP1 + SCCM 2012 + MSSQL 2008R2 SP2 previously without any issues but have blown it all away as we are going the Win2012 and SCCM 2012 SP1 way.. Running inside the environment is a SCCM 2007R3 instance.. Currently testing
    migration.
Win2012 doesn't have the agent from SCCM 2007 R3 installed

  • AA Servers did not install during the setup of 3.1 sp3

    Hello Experts,
I have installed the BOE 3.1 SP3 and was trying to configure the Dashboards & Analytics upon checking the Servers I found the AA Servers did not get installed. Could anyone tell me what wrong did I do? Appreciate your assistance.

Was this the full build SP3 install? or a XI 3.1 install upgraded to SP3?  Unless you did a custom install and deselected these services, I don't know what else would have caused them not to install.  Can you create any of the Dashboard services from within the CMC?  If you're looking at the server list in the CMC, make sure you go over to page 2.  Or click on Categories on the left and choose the Performance Manager category.  The services have changed names since XIR2 and no longer begin with AA as they did before.  Now they're called:  PMMetricsServer, PMRepositoryServer, PMRulesServer, PredictiveAnalysis, etc.  You should have a total of 9 Performance Manager services in XI3.1.

What OS? Have you tried a repair and updates from the HELP menu? The updates may be the key.

    Hi smetanka,
Are you installing on Mac OS or Windows, and what version of the operating system are you using? Did you have a previous version of Acrobat on your system?

  • Media Encoder update 4.1 did not install correctly?

I updated Production Premium package to 4.1 when it became available, 31. May.
Now when I check updates, Adobe Media Encoder 4.1 update is still on a list. Somehow it did not install correctly.
It is working OK and version shows 4.1.0.107.
The only problem so far I've noticed is not connected to AME but Premiere: it do not accept .VOB files.
Similar hardware (PC) / software combinations are working OK with other collagues here in our studio.
If I install the AME update again, after downloading and installation "The updating process is finished"
prompt pops up, but the update installation is not complete.
What is preventing AME to install correctly?
Just now I can not uninstall the complete package.

First thank you Harm for trying to help.
I'm just learning to use this forum. Your most useful hint was on another thread, and
I could not give you points there. I've also found many of your other posts useful in these forums.
    Thanks for those as well.
And because this is Premiere forum I prefer not to hassle with my After  Effects problems here.
But no, I don't get full interface at all, just usual MS error message: "Color Finesse has encountered a problem and needs to close..."
I think the most apparent reason is my heavy project, vast amount of material, lots of HD compositions and only 32 bit XP with 4 Gigs of RAM.
When I tried to make a new HD project with less material, Color Finesse's full interface opened just fine.
And because my project's color correction needs were simple foreground to background balancing for bluescreen shots, I managed to do it with Levels.

  • Management Point fails after installing SCCM 2012 SP1

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    and paste into:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Ipad says hello, asks for language and location,wi-fi then options are set up as new ipad, restore from icloud or itunes backup. I think I have managed to backup over my good backup and lost everything. Ipad will not boot HELP

    Hello RodneySmart,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From what I understand about your issues is that your iPad will currently not turn on.  In attempt to resolve this issue please follow the steps in order below:
    Resolution
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.

  • TS1702 There are two apps in my update section that I did not install and I want them gone.  1 says it has mature content, what the heck is this?

there are two apps in my update section that I did not install and do not want.  How do I get rid of them without?

Web browser apps display the same warning - and as Rkedge pointed out - any app that accesses web content may show that warning.
Atomic, Mercury, Google Chrome, iCab Mobile ... All web browsers and I think that they all display that same warning.

how are you installing it? from web PI or from microsoft download center?
which OS version are you trying to install it on? and can you dig in event viewer application logs to see which dependency is missing?
    Thanks, Hosam

  • A few weeks ago I had to reinstall itunes on my PC because the latest itunes update did not install properly.  Ever since doing that something called Mobile Me keeps popping up whenever I open email (outlook) and slowing it down. How do I remove MobileMe

A few weeks ago an itunes upgrade did not install properly on my PC so I had to uninstall itunes and everything associated with it.  I was able to reinstall itunes and it works fine including syncing with my ipod.  However, now whenever I open my email (outlook) a box pops up stating MobileMe Services has stooped working. This happens a couple of times after I click to close the program.  This a nusance and really slows down getting to my email.  From what I've found MobileMe was something that used to be used by itunes to sync mobile devices but is no longer used by itunes.  I can't find a way to remove this MobileMe from my PC.  I've tried going into Contol Panel then Programs and Features to uninstall it but there is no button there to uninstall it.  Any suggestions on how this can be removed?

Do you have a backup that you can restore from? Your old hard drive seems to be the problem.

  • After the last update for OSX 10.9.5, I get messages stating that I need to re-install the update because it did not install properly - How do I do this

On September 24, I got a message from the App Store saying there was an update of the Operating System on my MacBookPro laptop - OS X 10.9.5 - once I updated it, I got a message saying that there was an error in the update and that it did not install properly and that I should re-install the update.  I have no idea how to do this.  Can anyone help me?

You can manually download the Combo update if in doubt of the integrity of the OS 10.9.5
install on top of what you have, backups are always a good idea.

  • My 10.8.3 update did not install properly citing an 'Unknown Error'. Now, my Mail and Mac App Store aren't working. What went wrong and how do i fix it ?

My 10.8.3 update did not install properly citing an 'Unknown Error'. Now, my Mail and Mac App Store aren't working. What went wrong and how do i fix it ?

I tried this and still have the same problems. If I open Address book or the Mac App Store I get the library rebuild popup and a hang. I created a fresh user and then things are better apart from the printing issue. Its clearly some 3rd party software issue but the crash logs are meningless to me. I used the excellent Etre check app from http://www.etresoft.com/etrecheck so I have a list of what is being loaded and can compare clean and crashed user info but as I cant work out which of the startup items, launch agents, launch daemons etc that  are causing the problem.
I have eliminated Dropbox, Mac Keeper and Witness, and it isnt related to my exterrnal LED cinema dispay or my external thunderbolt drives, or any USB devices if thats any help to anyone else. Info from Etrecheck follows -
