Managing 9iFS with OEM on client

Question

I have 9iFS installed on a NT server and when I run 9i Enterprise Manager on the server and log into the Management Server I can see Internet File Systems in the Navigator and can manage the iFS Domain and Node from the Object menu. I have installed 9i Client Administrator on my PC but when I run Enterprise Manager and log into the Management Server as the same user, I can see all the objects in the Navigator except for Internet File Systems. Can anyone tell me what I have to do on the client to be able to manage 9iFS?

Oracle Support have now given me the solution which should be publicly available soon in note OSS194904.
To manage 9iFS from a remote OEM 9.0.1 console you need to install the following on Windows NT client in this order:
1) Oracle 9i Client (Admin option)
2) Oracle HTTP Server using 9i Enterprise Edition CD 1 (which prompts for CD 2). Deselect all other products from bottom up to avoid dependency problems.
3) Oracle 9iFS (choose 9iFS Administration Configuration when the Configuration Assistant runs and click on Configure)
Reboot your PC which will restart HTTP Server and Intelligent Agent and you should now see Internet File Systems in the OEM Console Navigator, rediscover the iFS node if you cant. Ignore the instruction to run ifsomssetup because it will complain that it cannot find oemctl.bat. ifsomssetup is only designed to make OMS aware of 9iFS but you will have run this script previously when you installed 9iFS on the server, so there should be no need to run it again.
Note that if you dont install HTTP Server on Windows NT client then 9iFS Config Assistant will fail to run, giving error: "No output available for this tool". HTTP Server does not need to be installed on Windows 2000 as the iFS Config Assistant will run successfully without it.
