Managing data (eg Goodreader PDFs) via itunes with V12

Previous to V12, I used to be able to drag PDFs directly into Goodreader (or other apps that supported similar functionality) via selecting the app in Itunes under my device and dragging PDFs to it
I've upgraded to V12, and "On My Device" on the left pane, there's no option to select apps and manage their data. There isn't even an entry for Apps now under "On My Device"
I can directly upload to Goodreader via Wifi but this is very slow compared to doing via via USB
Surely I don't have to do this via WiFi or Cloud now?

I cannot get help from Apple support because i am being asked to supply the serial number which is stored on the phone and I cannot restore my data in the first place. I am reluctant to "Set up as a new Iphone" since I don't know whether if I do I may not then be able to access my data from Itunes...
Please advise what to do. I did not see any tutorials on Youtube to help me with this.

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

Can Mavericks be uninstalled? Don't know if the discussion title pulled in all of my problem, so here it is again. Since installing Mavericks, my HP Printer adds an extra page to every print job, and iCal won't synch via iTunes with the Calendar on my iPhone 4s.
And no, I was a bad boy and had not been Time Machining. Guess I will now.
So, can Mavericks be uninstalled?

Third party cleaning utilities are not necessary on a Mac and can only cause problems.

Growl is un necessary and can slow the system down > Growl - Removing Growl
If you want to monitor the system, use the pre installed Activity Monitor app located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Then restart your Mac.

There are two solutions . . . I run my iTunes Library off an external hard drive. However, this may limit the portability of your library. Though a La Cie Rugged external would help with that (I love mine, though I use it for diagnostics and repair, not for iTunes--but it does get around).
You can also upgrade your hard drive as was previously suggested. I've bought my recent hardware from: http://www.powerbookmedic.com

Software update check via iTunes with error message (1664).

I had a recent experience with my new Ipad '4'. It is running IOS 6.0.1. When I perform a software update check via iTunes, it returned a message saying that an unknown error had occured (1664). When I connect my iPad 2, and did the same check, it returned the nomal "softawre is current version (IOS 6.0.1)" message. However when I checked the software update via Settings in my Ipad '4'. it returned the msaage "your software is up to date". I had completely rebooted (totally switched off) the Ipad '4' and it still gave me the same message via Itune. not sure what is truly going on here.

Sync single song via iTunes with my iPhone 5 & can't sync music with my iPhone

I have two questions about iTunes and my iPhone 5.
1) I have my full music library connected with iTunes and most songs are not bought via iTunes. Now I have alle artists listet up with their albums.
Can I now sync only one single song from an album with my iPhone 5? If I want to sync music with my iPhone I can only choose between Playlists, Artists, Albums and Genres but not single songs. Is there a possibility to sync single songs from a full album?
2) The other problem is when I want to sync music (and only music!) iTunes starts syncing with my iPhone 5 and nothing happens. After a while a get an error that the synchronisation is stopped because it couldn't start syncing. Why? What can I do?
I use a windows 8 laptop with the newst version of iTunes and iPhone 5!

Which iTunes version is installed on your computer?

Sync a CALDAV Calender via iTunes with iPodTouch

Hi there,
i have a nice Issue, i have a Calender via CALDAV in iCal, id tried to sync em via iTunes to my iPodTouch but unfortunaly it wont apear.
I almost never use my iPod´s Wifi, so all Solutions with Apps are kinda useless for me.
So im thinking about, that there is maybe a way to create an other Calender (local) and read/write sync em with the caldav one.
The Target i aim is to have my iPod when i leave my home and can see my Schedules and edit them and new ones.
Does someone knows anything that i can do for a nice Workaround?

Data update via iTunes with 2 iphone.

I would like to ask if there is 2 iphone available with only one PC in the house available for doing updates using itunes, does that means it's impossible to have difference data in both phone? as it's 2 difference person owning an iphone they can't be having all the same data in their phone, like music, photos etc..
I would like to know how can I solve this problem, can it be done if using 2 difference user acct in the same PC?

Yes, you can sync multiple iPhones to the same computer. You can:
1) Sync to the same user account, selecting different playlists, etc., to sync - if using Outlook, this can become a problem to select different contacts/calendars for each device
2) Sync to two different user accounts on the same computer. In that case, it's best to share the iTunes music library across those user accounts, as described here:

Retrieving data from a .pdf via VBA.....can it be done?

Yesterday our global head of risk asked me if I can write some vba to sit behind Outlook and process emails depending on the content of the .pdfs they have attached to them. I have quite a considerable knowledge of manipulating Outlook with vba but I have never tried to manipulate pdf docs with it. Can it be done? Is it possible to search through the docs for certain headers and then return the data in the adjacent field? Where do I start? What supporting documentation would it be advisable to read this weekend so I can sound like I have some inkling of a clue?
Please help me in my vain attempt to climb the greasy corporate pole!

Thanks Bernd, but at the risk of sounding a little ungrateful; having downloaded the SDK and had a brief look around it is still not clear to me wether I can give my boss what he wants. Ideally what I am looking for at this stage is for someone in the know to give a simple yes or no as to wether this can be accomplished.
A huge bonus would be someone having done it before and willing to share the code.

are you serious? You force your customers to upload contact information into the cloud by deleting the option to sync contact information via wire from Mac to iPhone? Well, I don't really know whether you guys do not read any news but this is the very wrong time for that.
Who do you think you are forcing us to spread private information onto your server and the server of your big friends from the NSA?
I am seriously disappointed...Now I either stay away from 10.9 until some guy releases a software that fixes this lack. great. what's next? will you still let me install programs I choose or do I have to get them from the mac app store? oh and yeah, I do buy CDs if you don't mind, I do not want to download them from iTunes, sorry. Would you still let me listen to them on my Mac?

Why can't I purchase music via iTunes with credit available

I have £17 available to spend from iTunes voucher. I have purchased music and other apps, I also have sufficient gb for the song I want to purchase. The song costs 79pence, but I am unable to select the purchase button. Any ideas how this can be resolved?

In the past I was able to charge my iPhone or iPod while enjoying my music located on either device via the built in speakers on my macbook pro. After i did my upgrade of itunes, I lost that functionality as well as the ability to easily drag and drop music to, or delete from, my iphone/ ipod.
I have so far discovered that if I want to delete from my iphone I can swipe right and delete, nice to have that on the phone, but could I please get it back at my laptop.
I don't keep my music library on my laptop due to limited space, nor do I always have my external connected due to limited usb ports.
