Managing Responses: Format of Reciept

When I get a response in my inbox stating that the intended recipient has filled out my form, the reciept in the body of my email is in text format.  How do I make the reciept appear the same way it looks when the user is filling it out?
I would also be interested in having the same experience for the user when they get a notification that their form has been received.

This is something that is not supported.

  • What is Unexpected Response Format?

    I was deleting a few E-Mails from MacMail, and all of a sudden, the screen faded and a square box came across the screen that stated "Unexpected Response Format". I heard the hard drive making noise as well. This is a new machine! does anyone out there know what this means?
    Many thanks.

  • Which menu does the "Line Manager" responsibility point to?

    Hi,
    I unwittingly applied BIS PF.H back in August and it changed some of the Daily Business Intelligence responsibilities to point to the Oracle Fusion Business Intelligence product. Since I can't roll back to an August backup, I'm trying to find the menu name that the "Line Manager" responsibility points to before 11i BIS PF.H. If you're on PF.G or earlier, could someone please go in as sysadmin and query the Line Manager responsibility and tell me the name of the menu it's attached to?
    Thanks so much!
    Mark

    Thanks! Just in case you're looking, in PF.H Oracle changed the Line Manager responsibility to point to the OBIEE functionality. If you want the DBI functionality you need to use the HR Line Manager responsibility instead. It doesn't use the OBIEE functionality.
    Thanks for the menu's!

  • Response format error when using the ASCII object to communicate with a Dart ASPII motor controller.

    I can't seem to get Lookout to work using a COMM RS232 connection to our Dart controller. When using a term program, i'll send the command RV1,0,6 and get the response 1000,0005. I set up the ASCII object in Lookout with the following:
    SEND=Pb5
    RequestFormat="%s"
    ResponseFormat="%s" (and many other combinations)
    RQV1.TXT=TextEntry1
    for TextEntry1 I enter RV1,0,6 and I always get that dang response format error!
    Any suggestions? Obvious goofs?

    What's the Expression you're inserting to read back the response? If you're using just RSV1, you'll get the error. Try RSV1.txt.
    For troubleshooting purposes, delete all RSV expressions and the ResponseFormat connection and insert just an Expresssion on ASCII1.Response (where ASCII1 is your Object). This will give you the raw ASCII frame coming in. Then you can start formatting this raw response with appropriate ResponseFormat and RSVs.
    Hope this helps,
    Khalid

  • Can't access a mailbox - error message "unexpected response format"

    I went to look at mail message in one mailbox. At first it said that it was having difficulty downloading from the server. I closed and opened the mail program and then I couldn't even get that message. I went over to ".mac" to see if I could view the message there, and I am now seeing an error message - "unexpected response format".
    I have already tried to "rebuild" the mailbox. That didn't work. I've had some problems that were similar, and I've deleted a mail message that was causing the thing to be stuck. This time, I can't even get in. Need serious help, thanks.

    The thing is, this appears to be a .Mac issue that none of us can do anything about, and for which one of the .Mac Forums may be more appropriate...

  • Unexpected Response Format

    I too am having a problem with trying to send emails and getting a box that reads Unexpected Response Format. I am forced to click OK and the email is not sent. Can someone please help me figure out why my macmail is doing this? I would hate to have to go back to hotmail again. Thank you very much!
      Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    Thank you for replying but the issue still isn't fixed as of 10:05CST this morning. I guess I will once again move everybody over to another email account and I agree with the other writer - we're paying to use this mail service which I don't have to do with hotmail and yahoo.

  • SRKIM: R12: User Management Responsibility click 시 Error 발생할 경우

    PROBLEM
    R12: "User Management" Responsibility 를 User 에게 Assign 후 click 하면 아래와 같은 error 가 발생합니다.
    ERROR
    There are no functions available for this responsibility
    SOLUTION
    User Management Responsibility 의 경우 'Security Administrator' 와 'Customer Administrator' Role privilege 가 해당 user에게 assign되어 있을 때에만 사용 가능 하다.
    아래와 같이 assign 한다.
    1. SYSADMIN User 로 applications 에 접속 한다.
    2. User Management responsibility 를 선택한다.
    3. Users web page 를 click 한다.
    4. 해당 user 를 find 한다.
    5. Update Icon 을 click 한다.
    6. Assign Roles button을 click 한다.
    7. 'Security Administrator' Role 를 Assign 한다.
    8. Apply 후 Customer Administrator Role 도 동일한 방법으로 assign 한다.
    9. 해당 user 로 다시 applications 에 접속 후 test 해 본다.
    REFERENCE
    Note. 734280.1 - UMX Error: 'There are no functions available for this responsibility' And/Or 'There are no valid navigations for this responsibility' when Accessing 'User Management' Responsibility.

    Rick,
    You do not mention which account you are using to do this - I suspect you are using your own account. What you will notice is that if you login as the SYSADMIN account and use the User Management responsibility, you will be able to succeed :-) In a real world situation, the SYSADMIN account (being a generic one) is typically locked down, so using the SYSADMIN account is not feasible. What you will need to do is to login as the SYSADMIN account (this one time only) and using the User Management responsibility, grant the "Security Administrator" role to your apps account (assuming it is the one you are using). Then logout and login as yourself and you will see that you will be able to do what you need to do. Unfortunately, this step is not documented very well anywhere AFAIK. Pl let us know if this works for you.

  • Web Service Response Format (1.4 JAX/RPC)

    Hi, i have built a WS using a JDeveloper wizard to create a Java (1.4 JAX/RPC)Web Service.
    The problem is i need to be very specific about the format of the response. A typical response would be something like
    <env:Envelope
    xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:ns0="http://tempuri.org/">
    <env:Body>
    <ns0:SubmitMessageResponse>
    <ns0:SubmitMessageResult>Response String</ns0:SubmitMessageResult>
    </ns0:SubmitMessageResponse>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    This is a perfectly accepted example of XML, however the system that makes the call is not happy with the namespace tags.
    does anyone know of a way to format the response so it does not use namespacce tags.
    The result would be something similar to
    <env:Envelope
    xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns="http://tempuri.org/">
    <env:Body>
    <SubmitMessageResponse>
    <SubmitMessageResult>Response String</SubmitMessageResult>
    <SubmitMessageResponse>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    I know this can be achieved by generating a web service that complies to the 1.3 standard, ideally i'd like to avoid this. Additionaly, altering the calling system is not an option.
    Many thanks
    Chris

    Hi,
    I cannot confirm whether or not this is a known issue or even a defect. Out of instinct I am building Web Services proxies in their own project because it generates artifacts e.g. for the return types that I don't want to see lying around in my Web Services project. So I assume that it is considered best practices to not put them into the same project to avoid file overrides

  • Raid manager and format utility inconsistency

    Hi,
    I have two A1000 module attached to Sun Fire 280 R with X6541A through both channels. Here is raidutil info for (c3t4d0 and c4t8d0)
    # raidutil -c c3t4d0 -i

    raidutil succeeded
    # raidutil -c c4t8d0 -i
    LUNs found on c4t8d0.
    LUN 0 RAID 5 172345 MB
    Vendor ID Symbios

    # lad

    c4t8d0 1T03843281 LUNS: 0
    Those output actually reflecting the settings,
    But what format command gave me is inconsistent with raid manager:

    2 backup wu 0 - 43083 168.30GB (43084/0/0) 352944128
    so in format, c3t4d0 is actually reflecting c4t8d0
    Anyone can give me a hint,
    Thanks,
    Wei

    Yeah, you probably want to go through rebuilding the device paths. This amounts to removing everything in /dev/osa/dev/dsk, /dev/osa/dev/rdsk, and /devices/pseudo/rdnexus. Then performing
    a reconfiguration boot.
    If you're uncomfortable with this, open a service call, or look for
    the string hot_add, under Infodocs and Symptoms and Resolutions in the Sunsolve search engine.
    Another string is "Syncing lad and format".
    Good luck!

  • Managing video format ...

    Hi,
    Maybe this is all easy stuff, but for now it seems very complicated.
    I am trying to better understand how to create, edit and manage video files. I am mostly concerned about all the diffrent formats available. For sure I cannot keep a version of the file in each format, so can somebody help me or direct me where I can better understand all these format, there use and need: avi, mp4, m4v, mkv, and more and more and more ...
    I am an ordinary father that wants to keep familly video made with my present photo camera or with a video HD camera that I want to buy soon. I want to keep an archive of the best format and then later export it to another format depending of the needs:
    1. add the file to my video in iTunes to stream to an Apple TV device
    2. burn the file to a rewritable DVD and play it on my DVD player
    Thanks in advance.

    2. burn the file to a rewritable DVD and play it on my DVD player
    Do you intend to use iDVD for this? If that's the case it won't matter a lot which format you use as iDVD will reduce the image down to 640 x 480 during the encoding before burning. This post describes the formats supported by iDVD: http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=8436154#8436154.
    I suggest you pose your question in the iDVD forum and the iMovie forum to get more info.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
    NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

    am I doing something wrong?
    Thx in advance
    Dennis

    You are not doing anything wrong. The xml is different because of what SharePoint considers the return value. In the case of the properties, this is considered one Entity or an object of key/value pairs. In the case of the files, this is considered a collection
    of entities and is returned as a feed. The xml will be different. I recommend that you set your 'accept' header to 'application/json;odata=verbose' to make it easier to handle return values in your code. You can use either System.Web.Scrip.Serialization namespace
    or Newtonsoft library to parse the json. You can also control how much json is returned by setting the odata to return verbose, minimal or none .

  • 'Desktop Integration Manager' responsibility not found in 11.5.10.2

    Hi,
    Is there a patch available to install the 'Desktop Integration Manager' resp in rel11i.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Razak

    Please confirm your receipt of the previous update:
    This responsibility is a seeded responsibility and should be available for review to the System Administrator under Security > Responsibility > Define. Are you indicating that there is no such record to be found there?
    If this is the case, would you like for us to provide the key elements from our vision instance so that the responsibility can be defined again?

  • How  to  manage  multiple  formats  in   a   single file ,

    hi ,
    I 'm getting multiple format files from my source..
    how to tackle this scenario in ODI ,
    Plz reply me and thanks in advance.

    RECORD CODES in column definition are used to differentiate between different record types that are put in a same file.
    The premise here is that the file contains records of different record types and a field in the file identifies the record type. eg. A file contains 2 record types with different formats.
    A,101,'CMP', 'IDV
    A,102,'CMP', 'IDV
    B,1001,'GFRV_OCCD', 'GFRV_ID', 'IDVA, 121 ,'CMP', 'IDV'
    A,101,'CMP', 'IDV
    B,2001,'FRV_OGCCD', 'GFRV_ID', 'IDVA, 121 ,'CMP', 'IDV'
    A,101,'CMP', 'IDVHere the first field identifies the record type - A or B. So, in the ODI data store, you use A or B in the record code field of the column definition of the data-store.
    ODI automatically, gets the records matching the record code specified in the definition of the data-store.
    So, you will create 2 data-stores, one with record code = A (4 columns) and other with record code = B (8 columns)
    Hope that helps.

  • Where does one manage date formats for display and input

    the user specification is that dates be displayed as YYYY-MON-DD. Is there a config or properties file which contains the date format for display? Is there a calendar drop-down that can be positioned next to a date input field for a question on a screen?
    Thanks,
    Allan

    Hi Allan,
    Curious why the rule project wasn't created with "English (Canada)" initially? If your project is English (UK) with the default configurations for that locale, then I assume your currency values are appearing in OWD with the GBP symbol (£) instead of a dollar sign ($)?
    As for the impact of switching… I highly recommend getting confirmation from the OPA Dev team before doing it, but in the meantime, if you wanted to experiment on your own with a separate test rulebase (as opposed to whatever formal rulebase you're working on), here are my observations from an initial look… (FYI, I'm an experienced OPA rulie, but I'm non-technical and not in the Dev team, so best to check with them!)
    I poked around the language parser files and saw that English (UK) has an English (UK) verb list, whereas English (Canada) uses the English (US) verb list. The vast majority of verbs are identical in all the variations of English, however, there are a couple which differ. So if you've used any verbs which have a different spelling between the 2 lists, there may be some attribute text to tweak, e.g.
    - English (UK): the person travelled to Australia
    - English (US): the person traveled to Australia
    - English (UK): the person cancelled the reservation
    - English (US): the person canceled the reservation
    I saw some other different files between English (Canada) vs English (UK), but didn't notice anything in them which I'd expect to impact the rulebase.
    As for how it might impact other components:
    * screens file and the properties file – May be some tweaking depending on how you addressed the verb spelling issue above.
    * regression test files – May be some tweaking depending on how you addressed the verb spelling issue above.
    * messages.(locale).properties – The default messages.(locale).properties file appears to be based on the Language setting of the Project. I just tested this and OWD used a different messages.(locale).properties file when I changed the Project Language (OPM | File menu | Project Properties | Common Properties | General | Language).
    * Siebel Connector – don't know what the impact would be.
    OPA Dev team – Can you review what I've said here? And add any relevant further detail?
    Cheers,
    Jasmine
