Manual Authorisation Objects is not working

Hi Experts
I have created a manual object in that i have added 2 fields
VKBUR
VKGRP
ACTVT
The same i have added in su24 also and marked yes for checking also.
But when i making the transaction it's not working. i need your suggestion how to control the transactions thru manual objects.

Hi,
Maintaing SU24 does not insert the required auth check code in the program behind a transaction, it mainly controls the objects and default values that appear in the authorisations tab when assigning transactions to roles. Although it is possibe to deactivate a check from SU24 as well.
Speak to your developers about introducing the neceesary auth checks for your required object, that is the only way that it would work.
If you search the forum you will find quite a few posts around the maintenance and use of SU24.

We have Company Code as Authorization Object .and we have 3 company Codes (xxxx,yyyy,zzzz).where the users under Company code xxxx are not supposed to view company code yyyy,zzzz data etc.
I modified an existing Report and transported to production.But the Authorization Object is not working for that report.The Report is defaultly displaying all the company codes data(xxxx,yyyy) for all the users.But for the other reports its(company code ) is working fine.
What could be the problem?Is theproblem in transporting the objects.But i transported all the objects inluding auhorization object.
Please send me the solution as it is very much urgent.
The solution will be def. awarded with full points.

Authorisation object F_T011 not linked correctly to authorization

Hello Everybody,
I get an authorisation problem, I hope to be in the correct forum.
I am about to adapt some rules for Fi user. When using transaction code S_ALR_87012284, I get an error message about a missing authorisation.
After running SU53, I see that the object F_T011, with the activity 03 and the statement version I required are missing.
In PFCG, I added manually in my rule these missing authorisation. I generated the rule but the problem is still happening. In debug mode I see effectively that the "authority-check" on this authorisation object F_T011 is missing.
In looking in PFCG, I see that my authorisation object F-T011 was added to the authorisation T-BT19013100. But if I run SUIM to see the authorisation object presents in the authorisation T-BT19013100, I see all the other object but not object F_T011.
It seems that a link or something like that is missing between the authorisation and the authorisation object.
Does someone have an idea ?
If someone want more details or screenshots of PFCG or SUIM to better see what I explained, don't hesitate to answer.

Hyperlink to open a business object is not working in archived printlist

I have archived a print list in my custom http content repository.
Generated the indexed print list by running program OACONTA4.
Archived data file has following lines

I am able to open archived print list using OADR.
The hyperlinks in archived file are highlighted with different color and cusror change when moved to "BUS2012" or "ZW            DE0978D42F2FA9F1AEDE0019B934DDB9       "
Here "DE0978D42F2FA9F1AEDE0019B934DDB9" is archived document Id
"4500000001" is purchase order number
"ZW" is content repository
"ZODTIF" is document type.
But when I try to open the business object or the document, nothing happens.
Then I changed the DARC line in the data file in repository to
IDARC0ZW        DE0978D42F2FA9F1AEDE0019B934DDB9
After this I was able to open the document from link.
Can anybody help on this? Why hyperlink is not working to open a business object

Windows 7, Manual Duplex 1200 laserjet not working, USB connection

I just want to PRINT Manual Duplex - Booklet - 2 page per sheet ....and it's not working. Actually it print pages, but just on one side.
It continues to PRINT everything on ONE side ( so the printer PRINT all on SINGLE SIDE...there is no POPUP window to TELL you to MOVE printed pages into INPUT BIN, so to continue manula duplex printing)

in Windows XP, everything was fine....but in Win 7 Entreprise 32-bit, problem with MANUAL DUPLEX
I try many drivers, because the WIN7 official driver is not having MANUAL DUPLEX. Non of them work
Next thing I notices is missing OPTION for MANUAL DUPLEX (in win7 official drivers)
Start - device and printers - (right click on) HP LaserJet 1200 Series PCL 5 - Printer Properties - Device Settings
Duplex Unit (for 2 - sided printing)....it say its INSTALLED (but I know that I dont have that). After Switching to NOT INSTALLED, the OPTION in driver for BOOKLET, simply disappear.
Any advice?

AND forgot to say,
there is NO OPTION to SET MANAUL DULPEX (in win 7 drivers)

Pdf object postMessage not working in FF 22

Hi,
After updating my FF to 22, i seen pdf object postMessage function does not working. We used adbove livecycle intraactive pdf forms to collect the data from the user.
When user click the save button from the pdf, postMessage function called, but after update this not getting execute.
For your reference i include the URL which also had the same problem. I also tried without addons.

This is likely the fault of Livecycle Interactive. Most likely, Adobe has not yet provided an update for supporting Firefox 22. I would recommend informing adobe support about it.

Manual import of workstations not working on Linux

Hi
We are currently running our Zenworks installation on Netware 6.5. We are
running Zen 7, sp1. All this is working fine, but we want to move over to
the Linux platform.
My question is this : How does Zenworks work and perform on the SUSE
platform ? Last time we considerd moving to SUSE there was an issue when a
manual import of a workstation was performed, that did not work. Does
anyone know if this is still an issue. Hos does the imaging part of Zen
perform ?

that shouldn't matter.. performance wise I don't have any numbers but I
think it is the same.. benefit on the linux backend is that you can manage
the pxe menu easily

Sorting on date (date_popup2) in manual tabular form does not work

I created a manual tabular form (based on a collection) with 1 date_popup2 field in it. This field is defined in the query as follows:

                            , p_date_format           => 'dd-mm-yyyy'
                            , p_item_id               => 'f18_' || lpad (rownum, 4, '0')
                            , p_item_label            => 'Start date'
                            ) as tf_br_start_date
In the report attributes I marked this column to be sortable.
However, in the page the sorting is not working. It looks like it's always sorted in the order of the seq_id.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

I'd call it a bug/missing feature.
It appears that within a Basic report, sorting on a column created using APEX_ITEM.DATE_POPUP2() does not sort by date.
I'd file this with Oracle Support and see what they say.

I got something to work by: (probably not what you want.)
using the C004 column directly. (I just added it to the SQL code)
setting the column's attribute "Display As" to "Date Picker"
setting the column's attribute "Number /Date Format" to DD-MM-YYYY
I suspect: since you don't start with p_idx => 1, this column becomes "1" ==> g_f01

Calling test sequence from CVI DLL that use ATL COM object does not work

I am trying to call some DLL function writen in CVI from teststand. The CVI DLL is using ATL COM object(Written by me).
The ATL COM object making instance of several ATL COM object inside it (including two controls that contains dialog). If I use a client writen in VC++ 6 and use the ATL COM (writen by me) works perfectly. But if I try to use it from CVI DLL it does not work any more.
What is wrong? The client is passing an IUnknow interface to my component. Can anybody explain me what is wrong?

It is not clear from your question as to what is specifically failing. If possible, one option would be to remove TestStand from the picture and see if the problem still occurs using a CVI EXE that invokes the CVI DLL.

Manually set IP addresses not working as needed

We have setup our DCHP server in that we manually not dynamically give IP addresses to workstations according to there mac addresses. But most of the time the the workstations go and get the IP addresses dynamically, and in this case most of the time we get IP conflict. Does it mean the giving IP addresses manually does not work properly in the DHCP configuration. For reasons, we need to use Manually assigned IP addresses not dynamically. And how can I trace why the manually configured workstation go and get IP addresses dynamically ?

Manual advance quicktime export not working

new to keynote, trying to export an interactive high quality quicktime, but manual advance is not working once it exports. I have lots of embedded video files that won't advance once clicked on either. Not sure if they are the problem. Any thoughts on how I can export a quicktime that I can manually click through?? That's a great one to play at Parties!!
BTW - that's a great way to do one-offs of sections you want to send out. HOWEVER - a problem there too - if you have a CLIP selected, FCP won't know if you are exporting that cut or the in/out point. Make sure everything is DE-selected. You'll notice a color shift in the timeline indicating the IN/OUT area when you are good to go.

Align to pixel grid for new object does not work

I have set my document to align new objects (shapes) to pixel grid under the advanced settings
I have gone into the options on the transform panel and set the check box to say all new objects should also align to pixel grid
But when I create a shape it doesn't work, I end up with shapes with 3 digit decimal sub pixel sizes. eg. 34.536px
If I want an object to align to pixel grid I'm having to set it individually for each object.
Is this a bug that will get fixed or is there some work around, it's frustrating to have to set the feature for every single object I create

Align new Objects to pixel grid setting works perfectly for all tools in Adobe Illustrator CC (17). In Illustrator 2014 CC (18) the rectangle and rounded rectangle tool do not automatically align to pixel.
This thread says it's because of the new Live Rectangle tool objects are exempt from the Align to Pixel grid until you release them by expanding them.
Bug? Illustrator CC 2014 and Pixel Grid settings not working.
I'll be using the old version until Adobe 'fixes' this.

Object state not working on android

Hope someone can help.
We use a + sign to indicate there is more information, using object states to move between these 2 elements, however whilst these work fine on iOS devices, when the same files are built for Android these states do not work.
Press one of the + signs and it just vanishes, without going to the new content.
Any clues, please.

Flash Object is not working in Mozilla firefox 3.6 and safari

Hi All ,
I am facing issue in Flash , my Flash application functionality is working fine in IE all versions and Chorme , but it is not
working properly in mozilla Firefox and safari as well .
The Problem is when i am using mousewheel scroll at the centre of the mouse to scroll down to the bottom of the page and again revisit some
portion of flash the mouseOver functionality is getting lost and it is expecting a click to gain the focus .
Can any body help me on this .

ArrayList of objects to array of object, does not work

I have a short problem in transforming an ArrayList full of User 's to an array full of User 's.
It seems Java isn't supporting this directly, example code:
function User[] getUsers()
   ArrayList<User> userArrayList = new ArrayList<User>;
   //fill list with User 's
   User[] users = (User[]) userArrayList.toArray();
   return users;
}     This code gives a class cast exception, cannot cast Object[] to User[].
Why is this?
When you manually iterate the arrayList and cast all objects to the User type in the array it will work, but it is more code + kinda takes out the use for a toArray() function.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is it just not possible in java?

If you have a Collection<T> after erasure the type of T is Object. Another reason you can't do it is that you could create arrays of generic types, which is not supported.
p.s. if the array you pass in as a parameter to toArray is big enough it will be used otherwise a new array of the same runtime type is allocated.
