Manual billing

Hi,
Has anyone some experience with manual billing?
Or can someone tell me where I can find some cookbooks about billing and invoice or manual billing in particular
Here's the situation:
period 01.01.2006 until 31.12.2006. Number of habitants is 3.  Each of these habitants is entitled to 15 m3 of free water (45 m3 total).  on 01.01.2007, we receive a notification that the number of habitants has been reduced to 2 as of 01.06.2006. This means that we have to correct the period from 01.06.06 till 31.12.2006.
How can I do this with manual billing without using the original billing doc as a template (or is this required)?

But you must build a vision of standard Billing documents tables and build your own standard document to use as a template..

  • Manual billing negative quantity?

    When doing a reversal using manual bill (EA16), the quantity remains positive and only the amount's sign changes. Is there any way to make the quantity negative too (as in automatic reversal)?

  • Manual billing for legacy system period Billings

    Hi Gurus,
    Need your help.
    My Client wants to do Billing for Legacy system period periods. Is it possible? Can we do through Manual Bill? If yes how SAP system can accept those contracts or old dates from Legacy?? I know that we can do Mnaul billing through T-code:EA16.

    Yes we can do it.There is one field in Ever called XVERA which signifies legacy move-in.If u migrate data from Legacy system and maintain that field,then only u can create manual bill .i have done the same  as my users required that.just try this, i can help u for the same even.

  • Manual Billing Issues (EA16)

    Hey Gurus,
    I have a list of issues regarding a solution which i want to propose via manual billing. I would love it if you guys could give me input in all m queries.
    The client wants to use manual billing for adjustments on the customer account or if there are discrepencies in the meter reads due to faulty register.
    Its not dependent on meter reads but customers could be charged extra if meter readings are not accurate. e.g. if 500 units are to be charged extra.
    Manual billing are independent of Scheduled MRO's.
    Adjustment details will be stored in a customized table with the period.
    Two departments maintain the manual billing and if one department has already created manual bill then the other should not be able to bill the customer for that same period.
    Departments will be segregated via user profile.
    And the integration with the customized table should be there so that manual bill is not possible if the required entries are not there in the table.
    Manual bill will be raised as per the units & periods entered in the customized table.
    I want to bill customer with the adjustments units via standard.
    Also, outsorting checks on billing should be in place.

  • Manual Billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 u2013 7/21/2009

    Can anybody help me to fix the below issue?
    Issue: The Manual Billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 u2013 7/21/2009 for contract 9018967003.
    After completing the Billing and invoicing using EASIBI  t-code and looking at the refreshed ES32, i found that Manula billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 to 07/21/2009.

    Hi,
    It seems you have processed normal billing and invoicing process.
    If the individual invoicing process is successful, the invoicing document should get created and posted unless outsorted.
    In your case, if the invoicing document is outsorted, you would be able to see the billing document. (in refreshed ES32 view as mentioned) .
    For the billing document, you can check the invoicing document as well, when you display the billing document ... check the print document tab on the same.
    If the invoicing document is visible and is not posted, it would be out sorted. Either check the EMMA tcode processing for the same as it seems, an EMMA case might have generated as you are unable to view the same in EA05.

    During Manual billing event creation the mandatory columns have set by oracle as Bill amount and Revenue Amount need to be filled, always this bill amount and revenue amount is going to be the same amount.Also for the advance,invoice,retention for all the cases it needs to be filled..what z the purpose behind it??

    The revenue amount of the event will be included in the draft revenue.
    Draft revenue accounting is -
    Credit Revenue
    Debit UER (unearned revenue) or UBR (Unbilled receivables). The system will choose one of those accounts, based on the balance between total revenue and total invoices on that project. When total revenue exceed total invoices sytem debit UBR.
    The invoice amount of the event will be included in the draft invoice.
    Draft invoice accounting is -
    Credit UER or UBR (depends on the balance of both).
    Debit the Receivables account

  • Aggregate Invoicing - Manual billing documents

    Hi All,
    I am working on Aggregate invoicing functionality for the distributor.
    So far, I have posted the aggr bills (FICA and Billing) tables DFKKTHI / ECROSSREFNO. However this i have managed to do only for Consumption Bills (periodic/interim).
    I have checked the SAP cookbook which states that the manual bills cannot be invoiced without a consumption bill which is fine.
    However, I am unable to invoice the manual bill with the consumption bill as well.
    The steps I followed.
    1. Created a periodic bill and a manual bill (EASIBI / EA16).
    2. Released the manual bill.
    3. Now I try to invoice the periodic and manual bill into 1 invoice (have checked the dates). I select both the billing documents.
    However 2 invoices are created.  The periodic bill has an entry in DFKKTHI and the manual bill does not.
    Moreover the ISU-data tab in the FICA document does not get populated. No cross-ref number is generated either.
    + Note : At this point the R403 event was made inactive +
    FYI,
    1. At the contract , joint invoicing = 3 [Contract must not be invoiced with other contracts]. It does not allow me to set it to 1 and 2 because of the deregulation
    2. I checked the joint invoicing event R403 and setting the E_group value the same gives an error as well.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi All,
    We are creating manual billing for a particular period and we mention a certain line item type while doing so.I would like to know that after creation of manual bill doc,where does the entry for this bill doc with its line item type gets posted.I checked DBERCHZ but it does not have entries for manual bill docs.Also, i would like to know the difference betweeen DBERCHZ DBERCHZ1 and DBERCHZ3.

    When I create manual billing in tcode EA16 , it prompt me to enter rate category where as rate category is input disabled field . Can anyone let me know how rate category is determine in manual billing and where should I need to make changes so that I can override this error.

    I actually had to create a case for this issue last year myself during an implementation.  The response was to apply the notes below, which resolved the issue for me.

    Hi,
    It is not possible to create manual billing document via EASIBI as it does not require any billing order.
    You can crate manual billing via EA16 as mentioned. You need to define the line item and other details and once the document is created, releae it manually via EA16 only so that it can be used for invoicing.

  • Invoicing of manual billing documents

    I am trying to invoice manual and periodic bill document together for a particular period.However,when i run EASIBI,the manual bill document does not get picked up and only the periodic bill doc gets invoiced.
    Is this a config issue or while creating data we should keep certain things in mind?

    maybe you check into help.sap.com (they have an example for a manual bill).
    there it is also stated that you should - Call Transaction EA16 Create manual billing, and enter a contract number and a key date. If you set the Joint invoice indicator, the document can only be invoiced jointly with an automatic document.
    I wonder, whether the manual bill document is released and ready to be picked up or it is the correct posting period?

    To update the Bill Key date in ERDK,we implemented the BADI ISU_DEF_BILL_PERIOD and inside it,under method SET_BILLING_PERIOD_INV we made the code changes to update the billing key date.

  • Outsorting for Manual Billing

    Hi,
        I did the following settings for Outsorting of Manual Bill
    a. Define Function Module (ISU_VAL_ZMAN) - outsorting of all the billing documents.
    b. Define the validation as 'ZMAN' in Checklist of  Billing under SPRO->utilities->tools->system modifications->user defined enhancements for Billing.
    c. Then linked this validation 'ZMAN' with the Checkgroup and Billing Transcation 06.
    After completing this setting the manual biling documents generated using EA16 are not being outsorted.
    Could anyone help me out if I am missing any setting or why the billing docs are not getting outsorted.

    You need not to choose manually if you have above said setting but yes in First screen  it will show you blank
    but once you will save the document it will generate that billing type only.
