Manual Correction in PCA

Hi All,
I am correcting some wrong postings in PCA for 2007 using 1KEL. After the corrections when I run KE5T, the difference becomes zero which is correct.
However, these postings also appear in the KE5T for 2008. 2KES to carry forward balance to 2008 has not been run yet.
These postings appear in GLPCT fro both 2007 & 2008.
Can anyone please explain the logic of making back dated posting in PCA.

Hi Anita,
if you want to use the field transaction type 'RMVCT' in transaction
1KEL then you have to do the following steps (sorry for not having mentioned earlier):
1. transaction SM31 -> table/view: V_T883 -> Display ->
    User table: 8AECPCA -> Enter
    Now you can see the fields which you can currently use in
    transaction 1KEL.
2. push the Button 'Display/Change' and then 'new entries'.
    Now you can insert the field 'RMVCT'. Please save your changings.
As from now you can also use the transaction type (RMVCT) in transaction
1KEL.

BDLS conversion require manual corrections

Hi, I am currently running BDLS in a system that is copied from BI Quality system. After the copy, I have run BDLS conversion for few source system connections. For the source system conversion from URD030 -> DV2CLNT030, I found that few tables require manual correction and ran BDLS on these tables as below, but still requires manual correction.

SQL Level Updation gives the following errors.
I tried to update the table manually from database level, but couldn't. Can you give some suggestions.

MVER table - Manually corrected total consumption

I am trying to determine total and manual corrected consumption based on the tables MSEG & T156 instead of using MVER.
Could someone please explaine me how is the value of the field 'Manually corrected total consumption' determined in the table MVER.

Manual Correction through NW Developer Studio

Hi all,
I have referred SAP note 968890 (Travel ESS: Incorrect layout of HTML trip form).
I checked and ESS 100 SP14 is not yet available on marketplace.
Other alternative of manual correction through developer studio is something I haven't done before.
Can someone guide me through this?

What it means is you need to have NWDI ( Netweaver Development Infrastructure ) should be installed for modification of the webdynpro program. As you see in the word document , they have given the corections for webdynpro program .
You need to plan NWDI Intalled and should manually correct by a webdynpro developer

Infotype 1759 use and manual correction

I use infotype 1759 to derive CO/FM object. Customization accrding to SAP manual.
When I run fee calculation all positions are derived OK. But if I want to make manual corrections system uses old infotype 1018.
It s possible to put there new percantage correction in this infotype but system still post according to precentages in infotype 1759.
How can I make manual correction based on infotype 1759.

Unfortunately, REQ 1 can only be used for input in this situation. PCLK 1 and ACK 1 are your only options.

Can I make MANUAL corrections to my Contacts on iPhone 4S from my computer

I put all of my Contact data from my old Nokia 6555 in Outlook & then synched Outlook to my new iPhone 4S through iTunes.
But, now I am having to make a lot of manual corrections to the Contact data on my new iPhone 4S because the Contact data did not tranfers 100% correctly in the synch process.
Is there a way for me to connect my iPhone 4S to my computer & make the numerous corrections from my computer.
I do have an iTunes account & an Apple ID.

It should be much easier and faster to make the corrections with Outlook followed by backing up the changed Outlook data before syncing the changes with your iPhone.

Unable to add Total forcast,manual correction ky in infoject catalog

we have a project and where i have to create 9ATOTFC (Total forcast) , 9AMANUP (manual correction) keyfigures in BW to APO DP.
i am trying to add Total forcast and manual correction keyfigures into infobject catalog but when i try to copy these standard keyfigures into infoject catalog , automatically fixed total forcaste and fixed manual keyfigures also copying into infoject catalog .
i am unable to activate the infoject catalog if i remove the fixed total forcaste and fixed manual keyfigures into infoject catalog .
Please help me out ...

Hi,
This is because, the KFs 9AMANUP and 9ATOTFC are compound info objects which have superior info objects 9AMANUPF and 9ATOTFCF. So, the superior Info objects also to be included in the structure if you want use the compounded info objects.
Please refer the performance help while activating the Info catalog after deleting 9AMANUPF or 9ATOTFCF.
If you don't want to use these standard KFs, create your own KFs by copying the standard KFs and use them.

Manual postings to PCA for previous periods seems to get posted twice

Dear All,
Actual postings to PCA are performed manually using a custom job from SA38. Postings were made in FI for all previous (closed) periods . After running those jobs for previous periods to transfer those entries, some companies and accounts are showing duplicate amounts or just a balance on comparison ledger and not in base ledger. How to correct this.

Incorrect album art on iPhone even when I try to manually correct the album art in iTunes.

I recently replaced my iPhone 3GS with a new iPhone 4S. The album art is fine when viewed via my iMac in iTunes, but when I sync an album to my phone, it gives it a random album cover from my library instead of the correct one. I go to iTunes and manually re-upload the album art but when I sync again it's still incorrect. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think I have the same problem with an iPhone 3GS running 6.0.1 and iTunes 10.7. I didn't have this problem with 6.0.0. My album artwork is fine in iTunes but when I transfer it to my iPhone, I get either the wrong album art or no album art. I've tried deleting the music from the phone and re-adding it. I rebuilt the album art cache. I reformatted all my music as an audiobook and then back to music (don't laugh - this worked for someone!). I loaded Media Monkey to see if there was something wrong with my mp3 files. My mp3 files are fine and if I load my iPhone with Media Monkey, the artwork is fine. I think the problem is that the vast majority of my music is 300 bps or better mp3 files. Even if the artwork is imbedded in the mp3 file, iTunes is doing something wacky with the album art and I can't figure out how to fix it. If it weren't for all my iTunes playlists, I would just use Media Monkey to manage my music on my iPhone.

Artist names won't update on iPod after manually correcting them

Ever since updating to iOS 5 my artist names are no longer consistent. Some entries will read Smashing Pumpkins and some read The Smashing Pumpkins for example. Originally I manually changed them to be consistent as they appear in iTunes and on the iPod in iTun es when connected. However, once disconnected the iPod itself goes back to displaying them as seperate entries. This is extremely annoying.

I'm having the same problem, along with a lot of other people. This is ridiculous.

Manual Correction to Raw material/ Inventory a/c

Guys,
When we did our initial stock load at the time of implementing sap ECC6.0 .That load went into dummy profit center and now thousnads of entries with material assignment sitting in dummy.and offset is in initial stock upload a/c , Now we wanted to remove these entries.
I tried to do a JE on the accounting side by opening up the Raw material a/c and removing the indicator "post automatically
". when I do it in FB01, system gives me message NO item category is assigned so posting is not possible,as doc.splitting is active in GL.Is there any way to do it on the accounting side, or it has to be thru movement type, 561,562 on the logistic side.

You need to assign item category to the GL account in the below path:-
SPRO > Financial Accounting (New) > General Ledger Accounting (New) > Business Transactions > Document Splitting > Classify G/L Accounts for Document Splitting

Applying manual corrections in batch processing.

I am using bridge to preview my files which I than adjust in CR. The adjustment is stored so if I re-open the file (Bd or Ps) I see my adjustments. Now when doing batch conversion to jpg these adjustments from ACR are not applied. Is what I am looking for possible at all? How do I toggle this feature on?

Lens Correction Manual Slider Bug!

I've been having a problem with the Lens correction Manual Sliders. Constrain Crop selected.
The vertical and horizontal sliders are behaving more like the distortion slider.
When sliding left or right they are pulling from the center, rather than the right or left end.
Also, with the scale slider....If I scale down it shifts to the right. when I reset all the sliders to zero.
The image doe not reset to its original position.
Is this something that the Lightroom 4 team is aware of?
One all the bugs are fixed I look forward to its release! Your hard work on this software is appreciated!

Well, they *are* distortion sliders (sort of), leaving the very center of the photo unchanged. This has not changed from LR3. I can see no bug there. Also keep in mind that the visual effect is very different from wide angle photos to tele photos. Photos made with a tele lens are more or less just changed in the aspect ratio, and not so much distorted like wide angle photos.
Also, with the scale slider....If I scale down it shifts to the right.
This can happen if you used the horizontal slider before, combined with "Constrain Crop" - because the usable part of the photo shifts to one side or another. In the same way, scaling will shift up/down if one used the vertical slider before. This is perfectly normal. Hint: Try the vertical and horizontal sliders independently, with scaling set to 50 (minimum) and "Constrain Crop" *OFF* to see what they do with the photo - that made it a lot clearer to me how they work.

Also normal, because if you reset the manual corrections after working with "Constrain Crop" enabled, only the manual corrections themselves are reset, leaving the crop&straighten tool at some "funny" settings. Go to crop&straighten and reset it, too.
In conclusion, I see no bugs here. I also fiddled with the various manual sliders, and could not see any behaviour that was different to LR3, which has no bugs in this respect as far as I know...
P.S. I am not sure if I quoted the last question correctly or not. I assume these two sentences belong together?

Manual Pitch Correction - Track Reference Needed

In Edit View/Effects/Pitch Correction - Manual tab there is no reference for the pitch.
What I mean is if you are pitch correcting a vocal it would be nice to select another track that you have recorded (say a piano or guitar) which you could have playing as well as a reference. Possibly even a volume control to turn the backing up or down while previewing.
This would be a real productive addition.

I had dismissed this statment too readily thinking what's jon on about its blatantly obvious what's going on
That was until the EXACT same thing suddenly happened to me DOH!
After uninstalling new vsts defraging drives and everything short of kicking the dog I discovered the solution!!
Somehow (and don't ask me how cause I never access the screen) the 'Enable Preroll and Postroll Preview' was ticked in the 'automatic' tab of the Pitch Correction effect
Untick it and manual correction now becomes obvious where you are - ie the cursor now corresponds to what you are hearing.

Lightroom 3.4.1 Lens Corrections – Manual Tab Defaults

I'm running LR 3.4.1 on Windows 64bit OS. I just discovered some pictures shot recently with my 5D MKII have the Lens Corrections Manual tab Chromatic Aberration settings applied Red/Cyan = -17 and Blue/Yellow = +5. I hadn't applied these settings so went back and checked my Lens Profile defaults only to find this is the default for those settings. What I mean is when you double-click on the Manual tab slider titles 'Red/Cyan' and ‘Blue/Yellow,' or on the heading title 'Chromatic Aberration, these are the settings applied as "defaults." I would have expected the default to be '0' for both, and there does not appear to be anyway to reset them to '0' other than manually correcting each. I tried 'Reset Lens Profile Defaults,' but that only resets the settings in the 'Profile' tab.
It appears to have only affected one group of pictures and import of new pictures applies the Lens Profile correctly with Manual tab settings at '0.' But it still defaults to the non-zero settings for Manual CA when double-clicking as described above, which is probably how I screwed up on that one group of pictures.
Anyone have ideas in what is going on...or am I simply overlooking something obvious?

Thanks Lee Jay. I must have inadvertently set those when updating the camera profile. ALT key, 'Set Default' and selected 'Update to current settings' with them set back to '0' did the trick.
