Manual creation of planned order in REM

Hi,
Can we manually create a planned order in repetitive manufacturing? I know that in case we run MRP , then planned order for finished is created with order type 'PE' due to which it cannot be converted to production order.
I dont want to run MRP , still can i create a planned order manually with the same order type 'PE' ? I tried in MD11, but not getting option to chose PE as it is not available  in F4 of planned order profile.
Please help..
Regards.

Dear,
You cannot create a planned order with PE order type manually, because a planned order of REM related material gets order type "PE" only when it is assigned with a Production Version.
So achieve manual creation of REM Planned order with PE type with the following options,
I - Using MD11 transaction create a planned order with LA type and assign a suitable REM related Production version to the planned order during creation itself, now this order would automatically become "PE" order type on saving the order.
2. In the planning table using MF50, you can directly create a planned order for a production line using F7 key.

  • Not scheduling on manual creation of planned order

Creating planned order through MD11 and noticed there scheduling not done and capacity planning not done and on doing scheduling manually dates altered and capacity planned which are appearing in CM01 for the respective week
Planned order created through MRP are fine with scheduling an capacity planning .
Please let us know what could be a reason for not updating on manual creation.

    Hi
This is standard behavior of SAP as when you create the planned order through MD11 manually , you need to do the detailed scheduling manually by executing schedule in Edit>Schedule.

  • Manual creation of planned order(PE) ??

    hi ,
whenever i creating planned order manually for REm assembly(md11), system automatically taken PE order type.
where configure setting is there for this automatic action????

    Hi,
It happens , when the foll setting is defined in material master MRP 4 view.
    BOM Explosion
Selection method : 2 By production version
When you create a planned order for the same assembly , after changing the above setting to blank ., ie
    BOM Explosion
Selection method : Blank Selection by ord qty , then the planned order's order type will be LA.
    pls check.

  • Automatic Creation of Planned Order in PPDS Horizon

    Dear Experts,
    Kindly answer my following query.
I have created PIRs before/inside my PPDS Horizon (its also falling outside horizon as SNP horizon is shorter than PPDS Horizon). If I check the PIRs created by me in /SNPAPO/RRP3, it also shows me planned orders corresponding to them. However, if I create PIR outside PPDS horizon then system is not automatically creating the planned order.
Kindly let me know which master data/configuration setting is responsible for automatic creation of planned orders within PPDS horizon.

    Dear Rinju,
Check in Product Master PPDS view the Planning procedure maintained? if it is balnk check in the heuristic, the palnning procedure maintained.
Since automatic planning procedure(3) is maintained, that is the reason it is creating order proposals, it self.

  • Mass creation of planned order

    Hello,
is there a way to mass creat a planned order for a finished product? having same FG mat, plant and prod version.
    Thanks

    Dear
1.Goto MD61 with User parameters like Plant , Requirement type , Version and Planning Date .Then Select the Material Radio Buttion with FG item code .
2.Enter the FG qty as required in each month as demand
3.GotO MD02-Single Item ,Multi Level with indicator : NETCH , 2,1,3,3,2   and Execute the MRP to create the Planned order  for FG
    4.Check the result in MD04
There is no SAP Standard Traction to Mass creation of  Planned Order .That is possible in Demand Creation and MRP run .

  • Block the creation of planned order

    Dear experts
How can I control the creation of planned order? I want to block the creation of planned order if the BOM or routing is not exist.
    BRs

    Hi,
I think this can be done using 'Material status' try the following and let me know if it works.
Create a new material status in transaction OMS4 (like R1 - "Created but BOM and Routing not maintained" )and in the details screen select Option "B" for MRP messages.
You designate a material as a "R1 -Created but BOM and Routing not maintained" In the master record.
        MRP                          "B" = warning
Please try this and let me know the result.

  • Firming planned order in rem

    hi,
i want to firm all planned orders automatically(rem) .mrp run hapened a day before. i already given always firm  in rem profile 0002.
but still not get firming ????

    Hi
If you wsith to firm the planned orders through MRP run, then you have to assign MRP types with Firming types in the material master and the PTF. as you require Automatic firming, U can use P1 MRP type. so while MRP run all the planned orders available within the PTF will be firmed automatically and any new requirements within the PTF will be moved to the end of the PTF.
Note system will automatically firm the Planned orders when  u make any changes to the same.
    Hope this helps

  • APO: RRP3 automate Production order creation from planned order ?

    Hi everyone ,
I have got a business requirement in APO where in Open sale orders uploaded in R/3, needs to be converted to Planned order and subsequently to Production order in APO-PPDS tcode RRP3 at all stages. They want to automate this process rather than doing it
    manually.
Can anyone tell how is this possible . Any BAPI or function module available to do this . Please help.
    Regards,
    Syed

    Hi,
1.You need to run the heuristics Planning of standard lots SAP_PP_002  in /SAPAPO/CDPSB0 by specifying the time profile
and  strategy profile, planning version and propagation range, product and location.
    2. Convert PPDS Planned Orders created to process orders thru /SAPAPO/RRP7 by specifying the product location start date of the order for production order creation.
Out put of step 1- For sales order requirement, PPDS Planned orders gets created.
Out put of step 2- PPDS Planned orders are converted to production orders.

  • Check on Manual creation of PM order

    Hi,

    Hi
Please use the user exit IWO10009.
we can add the condition that the field "Order Category Indicator Plant Maintenance"-AFIH-AKKNZ has below values, you can restrict them to create manualy.
    "Category
    AFIH-AKKNZ"     Short Descript.
    blank     Order created online
    1     Order created historically
    2     Order created subsequently

    4     Order from maintenance plan
    5     Order from reference
    6     Follow-up order
    7     Generated order from IM_SM_CREATE_ORDER

  • Unit of measure - rounding off during creation of planned order

    Dear All,
We have defined one material OIL in MM41 and its UoM is EA also we have put alternative UoM is L(liter).
now we create BOM of semifinished material we use this oil as a component and enter its value in decimal points.
    e.g 0.375 EA
During planned order creation or REM backflush system convert this quantity to 1 EA ,WE dont want this automatic conversion .
We have uploaded all master data in production and now it is very difficult to change all BOM
So what is the solution of this that system can not convert qty (rounding off).EA
    Kindly reply
    Sunil

    Hi Sunil,
IN CUNI Transaction Field Decimal Places is for displaying the decimals, there is a decimal place Rounding off field below, there try to maintain 3 decimals and check whether it is working.
One more thing is Unit EA will be used always as non decimal unit,But i dont know in your buisness how for unit EA there is a decimal qty

  • Spliiting of planned order in REM

    Hi all experts,
I want to split planned order created in REM into 2 separate planned order with different material code.
    Can someone help on this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Milind

    Dear Milind,
Few things are confusing, like why's the user splitting the quantity as 70:30 for that HALB?
Again 70% material is a different HALB and the other 30 % is a different HALB.
Is that combination 70:30 is fixed or it's a variable one?
Exactly at which stage this combination is decided by the user?If you are saying interface is it a
customized Transaction? If so make sure when the planned order get's firmed because it may lead a
confusion at the time of MRP run.
Creation of 2 planned order from that firmed planned order is possible, but I dont know whether it can be
made with 2 different part Codes. But it's possible through customized reports and not in standard SAP.
Try using 2 Quota Arrangement say by creating 2 production versions 0001 & 0002 and assign the % of
quota's (but this will work only if the combination is fixed). After taking MRP run you will get directly 2
planned order's one for PV1 & the other for PV2.check whether this can help you.

  • How to find out manual deletion of planned orders in APO.

Planned orders are created on multiple bom levels when we call CTP from GATP for sales orders. For particular sales order there is no planned ordere at lower level. Dependent requirement is there which is uncovered.
I want to find  somebody has deleted this planned order manually in apo. How to find out the same?
    Regards,
    Santosh

    Hi Santosh,
If you suspect that the planned order was created but later on deleted manually, there is a cross check you can do to determine that.
In case of MATP, System uses the higher level Planned Order number to create the Dependent Demand at the lower level and only when this dependent demand is covered by a planned order it assigns the corresponding planned order number to it. So if you see the dependent demand number with same  number as the higher level planned order for which it was created, you can be sure that a planned order was not created to cover the dependent demand that you see uncovered.
If the dependant demand number is not same as the planned order at higher level, then the planned order to cover the dependent demand was deleted.
I guess CTP also works the same way. If you're unsure about this, test it out.
    Hope it helps.

    Mohan

  • Setting nedded for creation of Planned Order for Dependent Requirement.

    Hi PP Gurus,
I have a one material for which I m running MRP which have three Components.
I m using strategy 10 for FG and SFG also.
When I m running MRP for FG the system is creation planned order for FG, but not for SFG even though no stock available for them.
I m using lot size EX for all SFG.
    Please Help.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Dear ,
You should maintain proper MRP related parameters for both FG and SFG.Check all the MMR parameters :
    1.MRP Type -PD for FG/SFG
    2.Procurement Type -E  for FG/SFG
    3.Planning Startegy -10  in FG
    4.BOM/Routing Explosion -Keep it Blank
5.Indiviaul/Collective Indicator -not applicable as it is MTS  so keep it blank
6.Validity of BOM /Routing should be corrcet before MRP run in MD02-NETCH , 2,1,3,3,2
7.What is the Lot Sizing Set up-EX in OMI4-Scheduling Tab -Requirement date =Delievery Date and BOM Validity Date  .
Ref .Re: MRP not plalned for dependent components
8.Check in MRP4 -MRP Dept Requirement Parametre should be balnk for plalling the SFG  in MMR of FG -MM02
I hope this issue may be with BOM explosion as per the validity and lot size -schedueling set up .
    Hope this will be useful

  • Automatic creation of Planned order

    Hi,
Would like to know how to check if a certain material is set up in MRP to automatically create planned orders or should be cretead manually.  I have verified the material type and the value is already PD (Material requirements planning).
    Thanks,
    Lyncel

    Hi,
Based on the MRP types sytem will creates Planned Order automatically  when u run the MRP Run.
MRP type can be  PD,VB...etc .  if it is ND  MRP will not create planned order.
Even though u have selected the MRP type PD, based on the Planning file entry system  will include the Material in Planning Run and creates Planned order.(Md22)
Letus explain your problem sothat help further.

  • Printing planned order in REM

    Hi GURUS,
please advise what settings are required to print a planned order shop floor papers in REM?
    THANK YOU.

    Dear Raju,
If my understanding is correct then I dont think shop floor papers printing is available in the case of a REM scenario as like in
Order Based production(Discrete Manufacturing). In fact one of the reason for choosing a REM environment is for a continous
production of materials where in the shop floor activities are very less or its not carried out in a structured way like in a
    discrete scenario.
since there are no orders involved in a REM scenario(but planned orders are used) and status management is also not active
for planned orders I dont think the printing of shop floors can be carried out.
Let's also wait for our other members suggestions on this.
