Manual postings to new system

Hi,
Client is now using Internal order for budgeting. So Account assignment is to an Internal Order.
Scenario is going to change account assignment after implementing Project will be Network activity.
So, I have to send document to my client about how to close the open POs and how New Purchase Orders will be created.
There are 4 scenarios:
Purchase Orders
a)     Fully closed PO ( all items received and Invoice Receipt  done)
b)     POu2019s for which GR is done but Invoice Receipt  is pending
c)     POu2019s for partial GR is done and partial Invoice Receipt  is done
d)     POu2019s for which no GR or Invoice Receipt is done.
Can anybody guide me how to prepare such document so that I can send to my client.
You can also send send such document if you have so.

  • New System - No POST, No Beep Codes

    Hey guys,
So I built a new system last night, powered everything on and everything seemed to come on as expected but there was absolutely nothing on the screen.  The system MIGHT be posting properly because I see the keyboard lights flash when I first turn it on, then the Numlock light stays on as normal.  Also, when I press the numlock key it toggles the light as it should, and a ctrl-alt-del on the keyboard seems to reset the system as well (fan speeds change and lights blink just as they do when pressing the actual reset button on the case).  Additionally, when I had the drives connected it sounded like it was checking them looking for something to boot (even though the hard drive is blank right now).  However, I'm not sure that they're just making noise simply because they have power and are doing things like spinning down after not being used for a minute or two.
There are no beeps or alerts coming from the motherboard that I can see/hear.  I also disconnected all the drives to see if that helped, but it was still the same thing.  I have not yet tried to take the mainboard out of the case and running it with only CPU/RAM/video; I plan to try that tonight as a next step.
I'm guessing that this means there is something wrong with the video card, but I'm not 100% sure, and wanted to see if others had ideas before I try exchanging the video card.  Unfortunately I don't have another PCI-E system that I can simply test the video card in.
This motherboard should beep if it detects a problem, correct?
Are there any LEDs on the board that could help me diagnose something?  I don't think it came with a D-bracket.  There are the 4 CPU_Phase LEDs on the board, and I believe two of them are lit up while it's running, but I'm not sure how to interpret those LEDS.  Anyone know what exactly they indicate (more than what the manual says, which is just that 2, 3, or 4 lights indicates that the CPU is in 2-phase 3-phase, or 4-phase power modes).
Am I correct in assuming that since the lights on the keyboard seem to behave as normal and that ctrl-alt-del works as normal that the motherboard is probably okay?
    Any other ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks!

You can try to clear CMOS and try out with another video card.

  • New system does not boot properly

I just set up a new system with:
     a MS-6728 Neo2 FIS2R Mobo,
    1gb Geil PC-3500 RAM (2x512),
    2.6C proc.
2 Maxtor 120gb IDE drives RAID 0 with the onboard promise controller.
    Lite-On DVD burner
    ATI radeon 9800 video card
Enermax 300 watt power supply with:
    3.3v - 28amp
    5v - 30amp
    12v 22amp
    170watt total 3.3/5 combined
My problem is that my system NEVER boots up normally.  It always freezes in the bios startup.  The D-bracket stops at almost every possible combination of led's, which according to the manual the problems were:  Testing RTC, Initialize Video interface, Testing memory, Initializing floppy controller, Memory detection, Decompressing bios to ram, possibly more.  Sometimes I also just get beeping, either a continuous beep or 8 beeps.  A few times it would display the bios startup screen, but halfway down would be gibberish characters and would be locked up.  When I then turn the computer off then on again, the bios is reset at least somewhat(i know because I usually disable the full screen image on startup) and says memory timings are too tight, and I have the choice to enter bios or hit any key to automatically fix things.  If I hit any key it will boot up ok.  However when I restart/turn off the computer, the next time it again does not boot.  I tried upping the ram voltages from 2.5-2.9v, and that seems to stay that way in the bios, even when it resets itself.  Everything else is set to auto/slow.  If I try to manually adjust the memory timings, even to the slowest possible settings, it does not boot, and I must turn it on/off a few times till the bios resets again, with the boot process stopping at one of the possiblilitys mentioned above.    Using the info tab on speedfan, I got the memory info, and it displayed the voltage at 2.5v, not sure what that means but it is strange.
    What I have already attempted:
I sent back the ram and got a new set, which hasn't changed anything.  The first time the other ram failed memtest, this time it passed(for about 2 hrs).  So I don't think its the ram.
I borrowed an antec truepower 430w powersupply, which had no effect.
I went back to bios version 1.3 from 1.9, which also seems to have no effect.
I was hoping to overclock the system a bit and enable performance mode etc etc, but now I'll be happy to just not have to go through a song and dance everytime I restart the computer.  This is only the second computer I have built from scratch, and the first with raid, but that seemed to all go ok.  Please help me diagnose the problem!

I too am having problems with my system.
    865PE Neo2-FIS2R
    2 Maxtor 120GB S-ATA drives, RAID 0, Promise
    2 512MB Geil Ultra CL2-3-3-6
    HP CD-RW
What IDE settings are you using?
    E.g...Native? P-ATA Only...all of those settings
For me...sometimes XP will install and boot...but eventually system is unstable and XP crashes and corrupts itself...Event Manager errors different each time
Someone mentioned problems with Maxtor and AMI BIOS...anything I should keep in mind?
Sorry about all the different questions.  I'm sure exactly where my problem lies.  MSI thinks it may be my memory AND/OR on-board IDE controller since I can't get the on-board Intel RAID setup to consistently "see" and setup my RAID drives...even when it has worked...XP doesn't like the Intel configured RAID drives.  Also tried just one S-ATA drive through on-board Intel and Promise.  Next I will try a plain old IDE Hard Drive...no S-ATA...and make sure my memory passes memtest86+ testing.
Any other gems you can offer for this config???  Thanks.

  • Adding a new system to existing ChaRM Project

    Hi,
We have configured Charm in our landscape and we use Solution Manager 7.1 SP08.
    Requirements:
Add a new system to the existing ChaRM Project.
Edit the logical components for e.g. To replace current SID (QA1) with another SID (QA2)
Add items (Systems or Tasks)to the existing task list
We faced problems (duplicate record dumps), while configuring as per our requirements above. SAP suggested us to
Close the Project and create a new one to include a new system. [This is not feasible for us]
Close the current maintenance cycle and create a new one if you want to edit the logical systems or to add any task or system to the existing task list.
So we have the following questions
What is the impact on closing the current maintenance cycle? We have half of transports in released and half in locked status. What happens to the transports that are not yet released?
Will they automatically get released or
Will they not get impacted or
Will they get assigned to the new maintenance cycle automatically or
Do we need to do it manually or does it not matter
Since we are close to starting our ITC, how do we go about that? How will we bundle our transports for our ITC with different maintenance cycles holding transports
What is the impact on locking a maintenance cycle?
What is the impact on project team members on creating a new maintenance cycle?
How does the maintenance cycle get impacted if we refresh existing systems?
Have you faced a similar problem? Is there an alternate solution?
If we need to add a new development system to the Project do we need to close the current project or just add it to a new maintenance cycle?
    Reporting
How do we run a report for stats by Maintenance cycle
    --> System --> Transport released
--> System --> Transports created (not released)
How does reporting get impacted if we make the changes stated above

    Hi Nanada,
check the below blog,to adding - Add a new system to the existing ChaRM Project.
Charm task list creation for newly added system... | SCN
So we have the following questions
What is the impact on closing the current maintenance cycle? We have half of transports in released and half in locked status. - dont close the MC with out proper TR movement in PRD. it will make the system inconsistency. if it is released TR not able to unassigned from MC . this feature available from SP10. What happens to the transports that are not yet released?
Will they automatically get released or - no
Will they not get impacted or - make solman inconsistency
Will they get assigned to the new maintenance cycle automatically or- if not released from DEv, it needs to assign manually from one MC to other MC
    https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000611352012E/index.htm
Do we need to do it manually or does it not matter - yes, check the above link
Since we are close to starting our ITC, how do we go about that? How will we bundle our transports for our ITC with different maintenance cycles holding transports
What is the impact on locking a maintenance cycle?
What is the impact on project team members on creating a new maintenance cycle?

Have you faced a similar problem? Is there an alternate solution?
If we need to add a new development system to the Project do we need to close the current project or just add it to a new maintenance cycle?

  • Has anyone used Migration Assistant to move services from one system running Server to a new system?

So, I've purchased a Mac mini to replace my aging Mid 2009 mini on which I've been running Mavericks Server.  In trying to answer the question of how best to move services from the old machine to the new, I've stumbled into the fact that Migration Assistant can apparently migrate not just user data for workstations and laptops, but also service data for servers.  The problem is there isn't much detail in the docs about how good a job it does when going from one machine to another without changing OS releases.  There's a very detailed document in the KB about going from older versions of Server to new (OS X Server: Upgrade and migration from Lion Server or Snow Leopard Server) and a general doc on migrating from another Mac under Mavericks (OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mavericks) but that has no details about Server.
Has anyone used Migration Assistant to move services from one system running Server to a new system?  Are there any details that are particularly important to get right?  Are there things that require manual steps after Migration Assistant is done?
There are other ways I could tackle the problem, of course.  I could simply swap drives between the systems, but the new system has two drives that are bigger, faster, and I intend to mirror them.  That would complicate such an approach.  I'd really like to keep the conversation constrained to a discussion of Migration Assistant as the primary method.

yes. I migrated a server frm lion to mavericks following these notes a while back:
OS X Server: Upgrade and migration from Mountain Lion
i do not recall having any problems with it.

  • Best solution for bringing new systems up to date with software updates

I have read that I can create a non-deployed software update group that contains previous months patches and use that for reporting purposes to find out which systems do not have all the updates, but that is where my understanding falls short.
For some reason I am not getting how I can update new systems with all the updates before its existence in a domain, wrapped around my brain.
Can someone help me get this through my noggin please?
    Thank you

I understand how to deploy SUGs to a dynamic collection.
    This is my dilemma:
I currently piloting SCCM 2012 and bringing new systems into SCCM 2012 every 2 weeks to a month
I have a monthly Patch Tuesday ADR configured that creates the SUG, but does not enable deployment, so I can ensure everything is in order before I enable it
I then enable the deploy and target a collection that includes all of my pilot collections that consist of computers from remote sites so I do not have to deploy a SUG to each collection\
Now this works great for me, BUT many of these systems that I bring into SCCM 2012 every 2 weeks to a month do not have the patches installed on them, so I am trying to understand how I am supposed to get all of those previous patches deployed to them.
Can you tell me if this solution would work:
Put previous month's patches in a non-deployed compliance SUG and name it something like "2014 - Compliance Reporting" and use that for reporting purposes.
Create another SUG and name it something like "2014 - Compliance Deployment". Then deploy the "2014 - Compliance Deployment" SUG to a collection containing systems that do not have the updates installed on them from the "2014
    - SUM Compliance Deployment" SUG.
    OR
Do I just simply deploy the "2014 - SUM Compliance Deployment" SUG without running any report and let the clients figure out what to install?
    OR
Do I tell the remote site admins to manually update the system by going to the Windows Update site and after that, allow SCCM to take over after the systems have all been updated that way?

  • Blocking Manual Postings in FI

    Hi All,
I would like to know "which are all the Accounts blocked for Manual Postings in FI?". There should be some Master table in which a flag is set or reset for this. Please let me know if you have more details.
    With Best Regds,
    Prabahar N.R

    Dear Prabahar N.R,
Field name is XINTB. If you set this field in the Account Msster then It indicates that this account can only be posted to by the system using account determination tables.

  • Creative M:Vision 30gb, new system trou

    Hi everyone!
I have a creative m:vision 30gb but have just had to reinstall windows losing access to all of my music, I was hoping that I would be able to simply reconnect my mp3 player and drag music from it back onto my hdd.
However upon installing the software once again the computer does not seem to detect the player at all, there is no problem with the cable as when it is in removable disk mode it is detected fine.
Does the player have to be manually reset before a new system will recognise it's
(if not, how would I go about reinstalling it's =S )
    Thanks for your time!
    Tyler.

In the manual that came with your Zen Vision:M it says "Step 3, installing your software" First log in as an administrator, next Insert the INSTALL cd, follow the instructions on the screen and when instructed restart Windows. When Windows restarts the registration process will begin. After registering WHEN PROMPTED connect your player into the usb port... This is because your software doesn't know WHERE your Zen is! Only plug it in when it asks you to. Just like I stated in my above post. The manual is a handy thing indeed.

  • Four Red Lights - new system

I've assembled a new system, when trying to start it I get four red LEDs from the D-panel that comes with the board.
    The specs:
    MSI K8T Neo FIS2R
    A64 2800+
    512 Corsair Value Select
    GF 5600 Ultra (temp)
IBM 60G IDE HD, Maxtor 60G IDE HD
    Tagan 480W PSU (http://www.tagan.com)
I've tried this with two CPUs and get the same results with both, four red lights.  Any ideas?

    Things to do in order...
Create a sig that contains them. It is impossible to give specific help when we have no idea what parts we are talking about. Keep in mind that no one wants to hunt if the thread gets long.
Reset CMos as per your manual.
Try just one stiuck of RAM.
Try the other stick or an older stick.
    Try other memory sockets.
Once you get to bios set to defaults and then set the memory speed to the correct setting for your ram and leave all others at auto.
Set specific memory timings as per your RAM.
Let us know wehn you get a system post or not.

  • COPA manual postings

    Hey All
Is there any way or any tool in SAP or outside SAP which helps you to post to COPA with an upload but Does NOT derive the characteristics during the postings. The system should take the postings only that are available in the upload file
    Thanks
    Ankur

    Hi Ankur
KE21N is the tool to upload, but you cant stop derivation... i.e. If you enter MATNR in KE21N, it would derive the Mat Group... Is that what you wanna stop?
Well, thats not possible... But Can tell you a work around
Create a WWXXX Char and populate it only when you manually upload from KE21N... In all the Steps in KEDR, assign the Condition WWXXX = Blank... So, all the steps will execute only when WWXXX is Blank

  • Lockups on new system! Help!!!

I'm at the end of my rope!
I just built a new system, and I'm having a lot of lockup issues any time I play a game or anything that requires a lot from the graphics accelerator.  I can't even get into a game more than 30 seconds without it locking.  Here's my system specs (all components brand new):
    MSI Neo4 Platinum SLI
    AMD 64 3200
    MSI 6600 GT 128mb PCIe
    Croshair 1G (2x512mb) PC3200
    Enermax Noisetaker 470W psu
    WD 80GB SATA hard drive
    Windows XP Pro
I've tried running the sytem with the drivers that came with the components, and I've also tried running the latest and greatest of all drivers.
I've checked to make sure all components are seated properly, and that all fans and so forth are working.  I've also ensured that the two mem sticks are in the right slots (both "green" on this motherboard).
Since everything is new, everything is a fresh install.
The lock up occurs on every game I try to run that utilizes the 6600 GT, including UT2004, Star Wars:  Republic Commando, and HL2.  In every situation, it locks my pc within about 30 seconds, and I have to shut down the pc and reboot.
My best guess is the power supply.  When I ordered the psu, I THOUGHT this particular one had a 24 pin main connection.  It does not.  I went out and bought a 20pin to 24pin adaptor.  However, after reading in another thread that the last four pins power the PCIe slot, I'm wondering if the motherboard just isn't getting enough power to the video card even with the adaptor.
Here's the specs for the psu:
    Code: [Select]
Model No. DC Output (Maximum Current) Total Power
      +3.3V +5V +12V1 +12V2 -12V +5Vsb
    EG475P-VE SFMA 34A 40A 16A 15A 0.8A 2.5A 470W
      280W
Does anyone have any suggestions?  Is the psu the problem, or could it be something else?  I would really like some help on this.  I've been working on this issue for 3 days now, and I'm about to return all the components and scrap the whole thing.

Hi, I have the same spec as you on my newly built pc (except I have an ATI x850) and i am also having the exact same problem.
My question to everyone is if i try this solution will everything be ok? This is my first custom build, and just like the topic starter, i swear it said in the manual that the sticks of ram must be in the same coloured slot. I don't want to blow anything to bits!
So I just want to make sure everything is ok before i tinker any more with it. This problem is really getting to me as I cannot play any of the kick ass games I bought especially for this new pc.
    THanks for the advice guys.

  • How do I prepare my iMac for sale? And best practice for transferring media to a new system.

This is my first time posting in a forum, so I will apologize in advance if I'm doing something wrong. I've tried to search for a very clear answer to my questions in the existing discussions, but have not had much luck.
I ordered a Macbook Pro today and would like to sell my current iMac to supplement some of the cost. I purchased my iMac in March of 2011 with OS X Snow Leopard preinstalled. I've since updated to Mountain Lion. When my computer came in it did not have OS DVDs, so I am not sure exactly how to take it back to factory default and remove ALL of my information safely in order to prepare it for sale. I'm afraid to tell it to format if I am going to need a boot disc/drive to reinstall the OS. I've been trying to research all day and have learned that I will not be able to sell it with the current OS, only the one that came with the computer at the time of purchase (to the best of my understanding).
Secondary to all of this, I have a question about backing up info and porting it to my new system. I have run the Time Machine backup to my external hard drive. However, I DO NOT want to port it to my new MBP as an image of my past machine. I did that when I got my iMac from my old MBP and my iMac thinks it is a MBP (MBP EFI/SMC Firmware Update Icons in my system utilities folder as well as identified as a Macbook Pro on my network). I've never been able to get all of these things to go away and I feel like it's chewing up hard drive space for no purpose whatsoever. I also worry that it could create system issues that I'm just not savy enough to catch before they are beyond control. That being said, I'd like to begin fresh with my new MBP. What is the best method of bringing my photos from iPhoto and music/movies/books/etc from iTunes to my new system? My word documents are easy enough...I keep 3 flash drives updated with them at all times.
    Thanks in advance!

Whoever said you can't sell you iMac with the current Mac OS X is wrong, I believe.
    Unfortunately, it is not wrong.
Any OS purchased/obtained at the app store - as is the case here - is not transferable. The license is tied forever to the Apple ID used to obtain it. The SLA states that the seller needs to erase the drive and reinstall the original system.
    @ Kamikazwe:
You can call Apple and give them your serial number and they will send you copies of your original disks at a nominal charge.
You do need to use your original Snow Leopard disk, boot from it, erase the drive, and reinstall Snow Leopard. The buyer of the machine will need to purchase his/her own copy of Lion or Mountain Lion with their own Apple ID or they will never be able to reinstall or update the OS.
    SLA Excerpt:
    3. Transfer.
    A. If you obtained the Apple Software preinstalled on Apple-branded hardware, you may make a one-time permanent transfer of all of your license rights to the Apple Software (in its original form as provided by Apple) to another party, provided that:  the Apple Software is transferred
together with your Apple-branded hardware; (ii) the transfer must include all of the Apple Software, including all its component parts, printed materials and this License; (iii) you do not retain any copies of the Apple Software, full or partial, including copies stored on a computer or
other storage device; and (iv) the party receiving the Apple Software accepts the terms andcconditions of this License. For purposes of this License, if Apple provides an update (e.g., version 10.8 to 10.8.1) to the Apple Software, the update is considered part of the Apple
Software and may not be transferred separately from the pre-update version of the Apple Software.
    B. If you obtained your license to the Apple Software from the Mac App Store, it is not transferable. If you sell your Apple-branded hardware to a third party, you must remove the Apple Software from the Apple-branded hardware before doing so, and you may restore your system to the version of the Apple operating system software that originally came with your Apple hardware (the “Original Apple OS”) and permanently transfer the Original Apple OS together with your Apple hardware, provided that:  the transfer must include all of the Original
Apple OS, including all its component parts, printed materials and its license; (ii) you do not retain any copies of the Original Apple OS, full or partial, including copies stored on a computer or other storage device; and (iii) the party receiving the Original Apple OS reads and agrees to
accept the terms and conditions of the Original Apple OS license.
