Manual reconcillation

Hello friends,
I am using SAP B1 2007  Patch 10.
For Reconcillation we are using  Banking --> Bank Statement& Reconcillation -->Manual Reconcillation
where i have seen number of invoices related to respective  GL Account.
which contains one check field Cleared  which i have to check manually by searching it from Bank Statement on the basis of Ref3 field which is cheque number. All this check are manual task. I have at atime around 500 cheques and invoices to reconcile so its very crusial task. so please suggest me any proper way to do it.
I  can import Bank Statement by DTW. but how it helps me in above defined process.

If you import your bank statements you can use the External Reconciliaiton and do some automatic matching I think.
It is not a process I have used, so I cannot be of much help...

  • Running Manual Reconcillation

    Hi All
Am running first time Manual Reconciliation for my client, please advise me and what all fields need to take care and how the transactions takes place.
i have one more doubt.. the user already posted this entry, before clearing the vendor line item.
Bank out going Clearing acc     Dr
          To Main Bank Acc
now vendor balance migrated and he is clearing the vendor open items
please advise whether it is correct or not.

Normally Assignment, Bank Ref and optionally Business Area fields are considered along with the amount.  The config is done at the following path :
IMG -> FA -> Bank Accounting -> Business Transactions -> Payment Transactions -> Manual Bank Statement
You can search google if you want any config doc.
Reg. your doubt, the entry you have mentioned is normally posted out of BRS run.  But you should have no problem clearing your Vendor open items.
    Ravi.

  • Not able to do Reconcillation with BP.

    Hello SAP Experts,
Here I'm facing one problem. My clients wants not to cut the TDS amount on transaction level but he wants to cut during payment. So that he can get the complete track report of invoice alongwith gross amount and the TDS details also with respect to the same invoice. So, I suggetsed them to not to cut the TDS on transaction level and cut the same on during payment on account. Its getting cut properly but what i was thinking, once after doing payment on account with respect to the invoice i will do the BP internal reconcillation so that it would be as link invoices to payment and my invoice will get closed. But when I'm performing this reconcillation. Its not allowing me to do and getting error tht 'Witholding tax needs to be processed for atleast one of the selected transactions. This can only be done by restricting reconcilation to transation by using same witholding tax code.'
Whts the exact problem I  am not getting. Please help me.......
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi!
This is the content of tht note
Recon. of A/R Inv. including WTax with manual JE fails
    SAP Note Number: 1344832
    Symptom
When trying to reconcile an A/R Invoice that includes withholding tax with manual journal entry that is similar to the transaction of the A/R invoice, but with opposite signs, the following error message appears:
"Withholding Tax must be processed for at least one of the selected transactions. Only transactions with the same withholding tax code can be reconciled" and the reconciliation cannot be performed.
    Other terms

    Reason and Prerequisites
    FAQ
    Solution
Starting from SAP Business One 2007 A, documents that include withholding tax can be internally reconciled only if:
Both payment and invoice documents have the same withholding tax code. In addition, credit memos can be created with withholding tax only when they are based on an invoice with withholding tax.
In multiple business partner reconciliation, if an A/R invoice and A/P invoice have the same withholding tax code, the reconciliation can take place but no processing of withholding tax occurs. In such case the following message appears:
"Withholding Tax will not be processed for this reconciliation.  Do you want to continue?"   If the user chooses the No button, then reconciliation is not processed, if the user chooses the "Yes" button, the reconciliation is performed, but the withholding tax is not handled.
If any other combination of transactions is selected, such as: manual journal entries, credit memos, or documents with different withholding tax codes, the reconciliation is not performed and the following message appears:
"Withholding Tax must be processed for at least one of the selected transactions. Only transactions with the same withholding tax code can be reconciled."

  • MDGS error for reconcillation account (USMD1B301)

    Hi
I am creating Vendor in Vendor Like UI by putting all requried fields like Account Group ,Name1,Country,Reconcillation account,CC payment terms, Pur order current,Pur payment Terms. In CC view when I select correct reconcillation account (Which exists in SKB1 for that CC and ID as K) and select checking It throws error USMD1B301 : Company Code 000000000001/$47/1000: A master record with value 217100 does not
exist for attribute Recon. account . In ECC I can able to create vendor with same reconcillation account.
I can bypass error by cusmizing configure change request steps and able to create Change Request and approve same.
It creates BP which is displayed in BUT000 but not able to convert same BP with Vendor due to above error which shown in SLG1 Log.
Can you suggest to fix this?
There are one note for above error but it can not be implementable in our sustem as we are currently on higher support pakage.

    hi
    While posting invoice ,
As we know that during the Invoice GR/IR is Debited and Vendors account credited.
I want to know how does the system select which vendor account is to be credited?? e.g If A1000 is my vendor do i have to create the G/L account for that vendor or system select it on its own?
here manually we have to select reconciliation (G/L) account.system dose not take automatically
as i have created PO for 4 item and GR also done for 4 items, when i am doing MIRO
while simulating for 4 items it has to show Vendor G/L account and GR/IR clearing account for all the 4 items,
but its showing only 1st item GR/IR clearing account and Vendor account type(K) entries without Vendor G/L account.and showing error
Account determination for entry 1000 KDM not possible(showing debit amount which is equal to total of item 2,3,4 )
Here you might not assign or maintained reconciliation ccount for that vendor. Once check the VMR

  • Xorg 1.10.1 no longer affected by manual DPI setting

I use my 23 inch 1920x1080 monitor as TV also. As this means I sit rather far from it, I manually set DPI quite low to enlarge windows and fonts by default. However after the last upgrade, which brought Xorg 1.10 and Gnome 3, Xorg seems to no longer be affected by my setting DPI in xorg.conf. The logs show that the value is read, and xdpyinfo shows the DPI I have set manually, but this setting no longer seems to affect any windows or fonts.
The DPI is set via the nvidia driver. Relevant parts of xorg.conf and the full Xorg.0.log are attached.
Does anyone know what could have caused this?

I seem to have been unclear in my original post. Setting it in Gnome 3 would all be fine and dandy, however although Gnome 3 was installed (upgraded from 2.x), I use fvwm. Gtk etc is still used but I don't see why upgrading a DE I don't use would impair another WM from using the X11 DPI settings. Also changing that setting in Gnome 3 does not affect neither the login screen (GDM) nor anything in fvwm.

  • How to restrict manual changing of free goods in sales order

    Hi ,
    Goodmorning ,
We have some requirement : In sales order free goods quantity determination by system  should not be allowed to change manually , where can we do this ?
    Looking for your inputs
    Thanks and regards
    Venkat

As per SAP Standard, when the main Item quantity is changed, the Free Goods are redetermined. In this case any manual changes to Free Goods Quantities are lost.
But your requirement is for restricting the Chages of the Quantity of Free Goods Correct?
I believe there is no SAP standard solution for this. You will have to apply a User Exit, which will check the Item category of each LIne item & if it is free goods (TANN) then changes are not permitted.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Jignesh Mehta

  • Manual de Integracao v300-2009-03-16 - SAP 4.7 SP30 preparado para NF-e?

    Boa tarde,

    Atenciosamente,
    Fernando Da Ros

  • Manually Backup to PC - incl. Voice Memos?

After reinstall OS and new iTunes - my iPhone data wouldn't transfer to iTunes. I did manual back up (to PC) and I'm about to restore my iPhone.
What's very important for me is NOT TO LOSE VOICE MEMOS that are on my iPhone. Are Memos included in manual PC backup?
Or: A) Is there a way to get voice memos (copy, save to my PC) without using iTunes
          B) Find in my PC from backup those voice memos? (Before I take the chance - restore my iPhone and find out if voice memos made it...?)
    I have iPhone 5S(or C), using OS Win 7 64x.
    Thank you

Not sure about that, I don't use voice memos so I'm not familiar if they can be transferred to your computer via iTunes sync.  But from the Voice Memos app itself you can send them out via email and they'll be an .m4a attachment that you can save.  Just tap the send icon (rectangle with arrow pointing up).
But you cannot extract your voice memos out of your iOS backup if that's what you're thinking.

  • Excel Table with SharePoint Data Connection - Manual Text Entry Misaligned After Refresh

    Greetings!
I have an Excel 2010 workbook that includes a table linked to my SharePoint 2013 site by a data connection. The SharePoint list feeds the table standard information that's managed on the SharePoint site, but I need the user of the Excel workbook to be able
to enter text manually in the workbook to associate local information with the line-items coming from the SharePoint list. To do this, I've added extra columns to the end of the table.
The user can enter information in the appropriate cells in the "extra" columns at the end of the table, but when I refresh the data connection, the addition of a new list item on the SharePoint side results in the user's manually entered text getting
out of alignment with the row it's supposed to be associated with.
    Example
    Column 1(SP)
    Column 2(Extra)
    Row 1
    Item 1
    Row 2
    Item 2
    Text entered for Item 2
    Row 3
    Item 3
Then, if I add a new item to the list in SharePoint, for example, something that would appear between the original items 1 & 2, after refreshing the table, I get the following:
    Column 1(SP)
    Column 2(Extra)
    Row 1
    Item 1
    Row 2
    New Item 1.5
    Text entered for Item 2
    Row 3
    Item 2
    Row 4
    Item 3
The table's data connection is set to insert rows for new items, and I could swear I had this working properly once upon a time...but I can't seem to make it work now.
Any thoughts on what would cause this?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Eric,
    >>but it seems that by extending the table itself to encompass both the SharePoint-sourced columns and the additional columns, that an association would be created between all columns for a given row in the table, no?<<
From my understanding, the answer is no.
    Another example:
I have an additional column named "Column2" and an external column named "ID" (see "before").
After I add a new record and refresh this table, Excel will keep the last row in "column2" and add an empty cell in the second last row. (See "After")
If I delete the eighth data and refresh this table, Excel will still keep the last row and remove the last second cell.
In your case, if you insert a new record in the middle of the data and refresh this table, Excel will synchronized the external data and add a new cell in the additional column in the second last row.
From my understanding, Excel will always change the second last row to suit for deleting or adding record.
    Hope this helps.

  • Manual Bank Statement

    Hi,
I have processed the manual bank statement, I could see in the stament overview that Manual posting is done and There are 2 transactions under FB01 with Debiting the amount. But nothing is shown under credit amount. When I check the concerned bank account and customer open and cleared items, no posting is made. What could be the error? Later I have done manual post processing (FEBA), still the same result. What could be the problem?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    1. Check in Bank config.. Create and assign Business Transactions and Define Posting Keys and Posting Rules for Manual Bank Statement.
    2. Check GL accounts are attached to the bank accounts under House bank node.
3.In FF67 Verify the specifications Memo record entry -- Start variant, customer and vendor match codes and Further processing -- 'Processing Type' -- 2.
4.Check other account assignment in FF67: Tran type, Value date, Amount, Bank ref.,Cost Center and Profit center..
4.If the processing type is '2' Run the session by using SM35.

  • GR?IR Manual Clearing

    Dear expert,
We want to clear of some the GR/IR that has differences, because there will be no subsequent delivery or invoices for this purchasea order.
    I run the following steps:
    1. Run MR11 : System automatically create a posting that will result in zero balance GR/IR for the purchase order and line item.
Eg: Before I run the MR11:
GR/IR credit balance :  -1000 (from goods receipt)  PO: 8000005002 Line Item: 10
    GR/IR debit balance :  950 (from invoice)                PO: 8000005002 Line Item: 10
Since there will be no further invoice for the remaining qty, we need to manually clear the above GR/IR.
I run MR11: system post the following:
Dr Purchase PRice Variance :  50
        CR GR/IR                        : -50            PO: 8000005002 Line Item: 10
Now the GR/IR balance for the PO: 8000005002 Line Item: 10 is net off to zero.
However the status of this GR/IR is still open.
    2. Because the status is still open, I run the F.13 automatic clearing. However system didn't clear the above PO: 8000005002 Line Item: 10 GR/IR.
Is there any misssing steps or configuration? How to enable the clearing of GR/IR for above cases?
Thank you very much in advance for your kind assisstance

Hi Rama, Thks for the reply
I test the F-03 to manually clear the GR/IR, but system prevents manual clearing of GR/IR. Here is the error message: "GR/IR clearing account cannot be manually cleared"

  • How can I quickly get the same album art for all tracks on an album without manually doing them one at a time?

I am having trouble with album art linked to each track. My library is ripped from my own cd's and ITunes only provides some of the artwork from a find artwork search. The rest must be found and added one at a time manually from web. This process is tedious and time consuming for me. Is there a file in iTunes related to each album that I can just drop the art once and it shows up linked to all the tracks from that album when they play? I've tried selecting all songs from an album and dragging the artwork to the artwork window once in hopes of all tracks getting the artwork at the same time with no luck. Any advice for this paltry artwork dilemma would be appreciated. If Cassidy & Greene still owned this ******* child of SoundJam I know I would not be having this problem! HaHa...Thanks for any advice/help with this problem.

Thx 4 quick reply alexbird. Your method will work and after a little experimenting so will this: Just go to the album art view option and highlight the album you want artwork for. Drag the artwork from your album art web search page to bottom left hand album art window in iTunes and just drop it there. A small progress window then appears showing each album track adopting the dropped artwork one by one. It only takes 10-15 seconds for all of the tracks on your album to adopt the new artwork. I then went back and removed unwanted artwork(from the albums that had it) track by track from the get info menu. This goes pretty quick as you just pick track>get info>artwork>highlight art>delete>ok for each track.
This drag/drop to the album art view page has been the simplest and most effective way I have discovered to manually import album artwork into iTunes so far. Hope this helps someone else out there. Any other methods or suggestions to do this task added to this thread will be duly noted. Thx... Oh, I am currently using iTunes 10.5.1

  • Please HELP!  My kid wiped my iPhone5 and I need to get my photos and videos off it!  I have no backup with iTunes :((  Is there a way to scan the device manually?

    hi,
New to this, so go easy on me.  I recently got my first iDevice - an iPhone 5.  I've used it for a month now and I have to say I love it.
But, I gave it to my kid this morning to look at.  It was locked, so I assumed it was safe.  WRONG.  5 mins later, I returned to him and my lovely iPhone5 was at the setup /pick your language screen!  Looks like he entered the password incorrectly too many times and wiped it.
Now - I thought it would be fairly easy to recover the data and the apps - but it turns out this is not the case.   I was never prompted to install iTunes and sync the device - not in the manual, not on the device when setting it up - so how was I to know that that would be my backup.  I checked iCloud at a suggestion of an IT pal - nothing there, despite knowing that I had a Photo stream enabled.  I may have disabled it only recently, but not sure if I can manually turn it on again?
Anyway - is there a way to manually scan my device and grab my all important photos and videos?
    Cheers for any suggestions!

    Hi Michela27,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you have content on your iPhone that isn't on your computer, the best thing is to use the advice in this article to transfer it to your new computer before setting up sync:

For both Oracle 901 and 920 on Windows, when I try to manually archive a single redo log, the database

Is there some default system configuration property telling Oracle to archive as many logs as it can?
    Thanks,
    DGR

Thanks Yoann (and Syed Jaffar Jaffar Hussain too),
but I don't have a problem finding the group to archive or executing the alter system archive log command.
My problem is that Oracle doesn't work as I expect it.
This comes from the Oracle 9.2 online doc:
    http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96540/statements_23a.htm#2053642
"Specify SEQUENCE to manually archive the online redo log file group identified by the log sequence number integer in the specified thread."
This implies that Oracle will only archive the log group identified by the log sequence number I specify in the alter system archive log sequence statement. However, Oracle is archiving almost all of the log groups (see my first post for an example).
This appears to be a bug, unless there is some other system parameter that is configured (by default) to allow Oracle to archive as many log groups as possible.
As to the reason why - it is an application requirement. The Oracle db must be in archive mode, automatic archiving must be disabled and the application must control online redo log archiving.

  • New iPod Touch 32gb stalls after starting sync, error 54, manual synce gets dumped

I just got this thing at Walmart last Sunday and its been driving me nuts all week! It's the brand new iPod Touch 32gb 4gen. When trying to sync it will start to load music then stall. Sometimes it gives error code 54, sometimes says it cant convert song, cant find song, or just stalls. If I wait anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour it will finally un-freeze and dump everything or say the connection has timed out. I've ran repair on iTunes from control panel, no help. Un-installed iTunes and re-installed it then tried synce, no help. I un-selected everything in the iPod summary so that it wont try to synce when I connect it and selected manual synce. Then I could sync a few songs at a time, but it still stalls after only loading a few songs on iPod. Tried dumping everything out of the ipod and start over, several times, no help. I've been 6 days, all day, every day, and half the nights getting a few songs at a time on this dam thing. I found when it stalls if I turn the iPod off to force it out of iTunes I can then restart iTunes, reconnect the iPod, manually select 15 to 20 songs and drag them to the iPod. A few times I got over a hundred to sync but usually 20 to 30 songs then it stalls. Then I have to do the whole thing over again. I had a little over 1200 songs out of the 1877 songs, 11.28gb, in my music library when the last time it stalled, it dumped everything. 4 or 5 days of manually syncing a few songs at a time, GONE. Just poof, all that work for nothing. The only thing left on it is 92 of the hundred something songs I've bought from iTunes. I'm ready to take a hammer to the dam thing and send it back to Walmart where I got it.
I'm using a Dell Studio 17 inch laptop that's about 4 yrs old running Windows 7 that I installed 2 years ago. I had a iPod nano 2gb that worked fine with this computer & iTunes untill it died last spring.
Why do you have it set up so that one little hickup and the dam thing dumps everything thats on it? I cant even stop it from starting to sync when I connect it because I need to see the settings in the summary for the iPod to change the settings, but I cant see that until I connect it, but as soon as I connect it, it try's to start the sync and stalls feezing everything.
Can anybody help me before this thing drives me completely over the edge!?
    The ColoradoHermit

I have a older Dell Optiplex desktop computer running Windows XP. I copied the iTunes  folder on my laptop to an external drive and plugged that into my desktop computer. Then connected the iPod Touch to the desktop. For some reason or other the computer thought the iPod was a camera and wanted to know which photo program to open with or for it. I never did get iTunes on my desktop computer to "see" the iPod and had to give up that idea.
When going into the My Computer or Windows Explorer - which is the one I like to use for working with my files-  when I connect the iPod to my computer in Windows Explorer it will show the iPod. Open that and it shows Internal Storage, open that and a folder with DCIM shows below it, open that and a folder with 860OKMZO on it shows below that, open that and it has the 40 or 50 photos I saved from Facebook. That's it, there isn't anything else shown in its storage. The iTunes on my old Desktop doesn't see the iPod Touch either.
Even if the iTunes on my old desktop would work with this iPod Touch it wouldn't do me any good. I read in a post that once it is connected to a iTunes Library, if its connected to any other iTunes Library on a different computer it will dump everything that's on it. Which is totally stupid but I think they - iTunes - have it that way so that you cant share your music with somebody elses computer. But that also makes it so I cant manually sync one thing at a time with my own iTunes Library. I tried syncing my music first and after I got some of it on the iPod, in its summary I deselected the music sync and selected the movies or video's so I could manually synce a few to it to see if it would work. Bad move. As soon as I did that it dumped everything that was on it, then said that it could not sync the movies because the files could not be written. HUH? Why a video from YouTube could not be written beats me. But why did it dump all the music?
The last thing I did with it was put all the options in the summary in iTunes back to default, removed everything on the iPod that was left after its last dump, then disconnected it, closed iTunes, and rebooted my laptop and started over from scratch. Started iTunes, connected the iPod, after iTunes found it I opened the iPod summary, made sure everything except sync photo's was selected, then started the sync function. It immediately listed all the songs and the songs info in light gray under music on the iPod. It only got 2 songs copied, then stalled. I just left it alone to see what it would do. I opened the Windows Task Manager to see what it was doing. Even though the iTunes program appered to be stalled it was using 50% of the CPU. After about 15 minutes it showed a popup window saying the song could not be writen then another saying its connection to the iPod had timed out, then iTunes stalled and "not responding" showed in task manager and at the top of the iTunes window. After 30 minutes I had to force it to close with the Task Manager. By then it was after midnight and had been another 12 hours wasted messing with this thing.
