Manual update of ANLC and ANLB table

Dear All,
After opening of new asset fiscal year its found that expired useful life and period
has not been updated in previous year and 1 asset is missing from ANLC table in
the year 2014. Is there any way to update the ANLB and ANLC table manually.

Difference in Time updated in BKPF and FAGLFLEXA tables

Hi
We are extracting BW reports based on BKPF and FAGLFLEXA tables on the
basis of date and time. The time stamp are updated in these two tables
does not match and there is a difference of 1-2 hours between time
updated in BKPF and FAGLFLEXA table . The time stamp in the table
FAGLFLEXA has a time which is earlier by 1-2 hours earlier than the
time updated in the table BKPF for the same document which causes BW reports incorrect.
I request your inputs as to how to make time updated in FAGLFLEXA
table to sync with the time updated in BKPF table at the time of
posting the document. Is there any OSS notes that needs to be applied
for updating the time stamp in FAGLFLEXA to match with the time updated
in BKPF table.
We have also seen the SAP Standard settings for time zone wherein
different settings are maintained for day light saving. We would like
to get your guidance as to whether we can modify the SAP Standard
settings and what is the impact we will have in the system if we change
the settings for the Time zone and also would like to know the effect
on the documents already created in case sync is established between
these two tables.
Requesting your inputs in this regard at the earliest please.

1 more thing I can add is that I have struggled with this with an OAS cluster install where the 2 nodes time difference was out of sync and the opmn processes wouldn't start because of this, but exactly how far they were out of sync I can't tell and I think this was on 10.1.3

Updatable Materialized View and Master Table on same database

Hi all,
My first question - Is it possible to have an Updatable Materialized View and the associated Master Table located on the same database?
This is the requirement scenario:
One unique database D exists.
A is a batch table. Only inserts are allowed on Table A.
M is an updatable materialized view on Table A (Master). Only updates are allowed on M (no insert or delete).
Requirement is to push updates/changes from M to A periodically and then get the new inserted records from A into M via a refresh.
Is this possible? What other approaches are applicable here?

My question is related to the implementation and setup of the environment as explained in the above example. How can I achieve this considering that I have created an updatable m-view?
If possible, how do I push changes made to an updatable m-view back to it's master table when/before I execute DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH on the m-view? What is the procedure to do this if both table and mview exist on the same database? Do I need to create master groups, materialized view refresh groups, etc.?
One more thing.. Is there a way to retain changes to the m-view during refresh? In this case, only newly inserted/updated records in the associated table would get inserted into m-view. Whereas changes made to m-view records would stay as-is.

How to update the VBFA table without entries in VBRK and VBRP tables

I have a requirement , where the sales order , delivery happens in one SAP system say X system and billing document wil happens in other sap system say Y.
Now in this particular case , if the user want to know the billing document number in X system. what would be the solution.
Is there any possibility to update the VBFA table with invoice number of Y system (without updating the VBRK and VBRP tables).
User want to see the billing doc number from sales order in the form of document flow in X system

Without updating VBRK/VBRP table and updating VBFA is not possible, So you have to play with work arround to create one Z TABLE, so whenever system Y will create billing document with the reference of System X data you have to update Ztable with Invoice number created in System Y, The primary key will be in Z TABLE is Delivery document number to track one to one with billing doc.

Galaxy S3 OTA manual update error

I am getting an error when i try to do a manual OTA update.
Service unavailable
To check for a system updates, go to Settings > About device when service is available.

I made two trips. On the first we were told the update would be OTA, and that the manual update would not work until my wife received an email notification that it was available. I knew this to be untrue because I had already manually updated my phone, and I never received an email (I still haven't). If she did not receive the update within 10 days of the email we were to go back to the store. She received the email a couple of days later, and after 12 days there was no automatic update, and several manual attempts to update resulted in the same error, so we went back to the store.
On the second trip the salesperson at the store spoke with support and explained the whole situation, at which time they decided to send my wife a new phone. The new phone arrived 2 days later, and she switched her SIM over and received the update immediately. There was never an indication from support as to what the problem was, but the new phone seems to have resolved it.
I came to the forum for answers and got none. I clearly stated that I had already rebooted the phone several times to no avail, as well as having done a factory data reset. And yet, people posted that we should reboot our phones because they failed to read and comprehend. A forum is a place for discussion and (hopefully) answers, but that becomes all but impossible when people respond with ignorant replies that tell you to do what you've already done. Just an FYI, if you are one of these guilty parties, you're defeating the purpose of this forum and making the lives of others harder.

Hi Zahid,
you have to determine them on your own then. The information can be gathered by the AA document tables (ANEK, ANEP, ANEA). In case you want to calculate retirement cost you have to evaluate all the transactions posted with a retirement transaction type.
Look into the ABAP report RABEWG_ALV01, you should be able to adapt some logic from this report.

Need manual updates for 9.2 and 9.55 to do clean reinstall of acrobat 9.0 pro from cd

I just did a new nstallation of acrobat V9.0 professional from CD:
I need a link to the master incremental update for 9.2 and the master 9.55 incremental update that goes from V9.2 to V9.55
I am looking for a master baseline release.
My reinstall is on an old XPSP3 machine. When acrobat professional 9.0 goes away I will still need the incremental update from V9.0 to V9.55
I do not need to put acrobat X or acrobat XI on this machine. A new acrobat X or acrobat XI license is for a new machine.
I keep all my master and incremental updates in archival. That way i can rebuild my machine.
This is the way it is normally done.
the autoinstaller jumped me from V9.0 on CD to V9.2 and from V9.2 to V9.55.
I dont' see master releases in the table that do the same thing.
there were only 2 updates.

Most of the manual updates are not cummulative. It sounds like you did the updates from the help menu (and many of those are cummulative -- don't know why they are not available). You may be able to find the updates you used on your harddrive -- I have seen them before, but don't remember where, probably the users folder or such.

No Update FMIOI and KBLP tables with purchase order

We have un serious problem : No Update FMIOI and KBLP tables with purchase order
System : SAP ERP 6.0 /7.0 - EHP 4
Note 965633 was read.
1) First case: The purchase order 4510000673 does not reduce the funds reservation.
Purchase order 4510000673 should consume the funds reservation 1200000193 because all post of the PO charge the funds reservation 1200000193.But the consumption history of the funds reservation 1200000193 donu2019t show this consumption.
In table FMIOI, we do not have lines with amount type 0200 (reduction) but whe have the lines with the post of PO with amount type (0100). The Purchase order 4510000673 should consume the funds reservation 1200000193.
In table KBLP, the fields are :
Total amount (LC) - HWGES = 53.409,40
Amount used u2013 WTABB = 0,00
Reduction amount u2013 HWABB = 0,00
Open amount u2013 CWTFREE =    53.409,40
Reduced amount u2013 WTABG = 0,00
Reduced amount u2013HWABG = 0,00
To solve the problem, we executed the transactions : FM4N et FMN5 and the program RFFMRC20 but no result.
2) Second case : Delete a item of a purchase order does not release the budget
The single item of the purchase order 4510000597 is deleted but in the display of consumption History of the funds reservation 1200000137, the amount of the purchase order is not to zero.
To solve the problem, we executed the transactions : FM4N et FMN5 and the program RFFMRC20 but no result.
Somebody already had a similar problem ?

There are two known notes dealing with missing update on reference Earmarked Funds, I am listing them for future references:
1376800 Earmarked funds: Incorrect open amount
1438487 RFFMRC20: Missing KBLE records are ignored
These notes correct some errors within the Standard.
However, in your scenario, problem has to do with an incorrect execution of a Commit work inside a customer user-exit. After elimination of this commit work, new Po's are working correctly.
Remaining task is the correction of old PO's. Manual correction via small changes with ME22N (for instance, adding a '.' to the line item text/s) will force the correct update and fix your database

Manual update tables on 11g Logical Standby

Dear all,
I got one physical primary DB and one logical standby DB running 11.2.0.2 and SQL apply. Same configuration (32bit DB, same server spec) and same settings for both DB servers.
I don't know but for some reason, a table in the logical standby DB (which also exists in the primary DB) cannot be updated properly, a delete statement for a single row can end up generating ORA-4030 and there is no reason primary can complete the task but the logical cannot. Finally, I skipped the table in SQL apply.
As the table is a monthly statistics table computed from another daily statistics table, and it is so large that I dont want to re-instatiate the table via the network, nor re-program the queries.
Therefore I decide to trigger the computation on the logical side.
My question is, given that I skipped the table in SQL, will the manual update create trouble for the SQL apply process? I wonder how the redo procedure handles both tables under SQL apply and those under manual update.

One of the main benefits of a logical standby database would be the option of creating a local dataset.

How can I manually update Firefox? Auto updates fail and end up making my computer hang for 10 minutes on startup.

when updating parent row:
ORA-02292: integrity constraint (XXXXXXXXXXXXXX_FK) violated - child record found
When updatng corresponding child row:
ORA-02291: integrity constraint (XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_FK) violated - parent key not found

Why do you need to do that?
That is just ONE of several questions you should answer before you start modifying your data.
1. What is your 4 digit Oracle version? (result of SELECT * FROM V$VERSION)
2. If both values are the same case what difference does it make what that case is?hen you don't need to alter your original data.
3. What is the source of the column values you are using now? If you change your data to upper case it will no longer be identical to the source data.
4. What is your plan for enforcing future values to be stored in UPPER case? Are you going to use a trigger? Have you written and tested such a trigger to see if it will even work the way you expect?
5. Why aren't you using a surrogate key instead of a 'business' data item? You have just demonstrated one reason why surrogate keys can be useful: their actual value is NOT important.
You should reexamine your problem and architecture and consider other alternatives.
One alternative is to add a new 'surrogate key' column to use as the primary key. Just create a new sequence and use a trigger to populate the new column. Your current plans will require a trigger to perform the case conversion so instead of the just use the trigger to provide the value.
If the change is being done to facilitate searching you could just add a VIRTUAL column UPPER_MY_COLUMN and index that instead. Then you could search on that new virtual column and the data values would still be identical to the original data source.

Update key in parent and child tables

Situation:
Parent table (p) has a PK, p.parent_id. Child table (c) has a FK c.parent_id which, of course, points back to PK, p.parent_id.
I need to UPDATE the key in both tables but I am concerned about throwing a FK constraint violation. How does one get around this? Does one update the child first then the parent or vice versa? Seems either way a FK violation will occur...

1) If you ever anticipate wanting to update a key, that key should not be the primary key of a table. Primary keys should be immutable. If this is going to happen with any regularity, you need to re-examine the underlying data model.
2) If the constraints were declared to be deferrable, you would simply mark them as deferred, update both tables, and commit (at which point the constraint would be validated). If the constraints were not declared to be deferrable, you will probably need to end up dropping and re-creating one or the other (presumably as a deferrable constraint this time).

I have a parent table EMPLOYEE which includes columns (sysid, serviceno,employeename...) sysid is Primary key, serviceno is Unique key and I have child table DEPENDENT includes columns (sysid,employee_sysid,name,dob...) here again SYSID is primary key for DEPENDENTS table, employee_sysid is Foreign key of EMPLOYEE table.

BAPI to update data in KNA1 and ADR* tables

I have to change customer data via BAPI.
I'm searching for a BAPI that updates KNA1 and ADR* tables.
(so that data will be coherent).
I found BAPI_CUSTOMER_CHANGEFROMDATA1 but it seems to only update KNA1
and BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE that only updates ADR* tables.
Can you help me ?

I came accross such a requirement but couldn't find a single function module.
I think try using both the FM's else BDC is the only option left.
you can use the FM "DEBITOR_BDCDATA" to get the BDC data for vendor and then edit it to add the address fields required.
