Manual valuation w/o reset in TPM1

Hi All
I want to doa manual valuation w/o reset for Product Type 51A (FD). I created a valuation class. I also created a update type and assign usages. I also assigned the update types to the valuation. I created postion management procedure with type of step as one step rate valuation and procedure as mark to market. I selected the position category as 1 "Sec/Loans/M.MKT. I also maintained the NBV in TPM74 but when i run TMP1 by selecting manual valuation, the system is not considering the value entered in TPM74. Its giving a Message no. VAL105 "The valuation of the position resulted in no write-ups or write-downs" Am i missing something. Kindly advice and also let me know the steps to be confiured for manual valuation w/o reset.

Dear Rajaram,
Please check the values you have entered in TPM74, the NBV in VC and PC need to be filled. If the NBV is equal to current book value, you will get message VAL105 "The valuation of the position resulted in no write-ups or write-downs", as there is no difference in old and new book value.

REG manual valuation pop up window in QA32

Hi
I need to know how to stop the pop up window for Manual valuation in QA32. When I do RR for any MIC, a manual valuation window comes for accepting/rejecting the MIC.
My basic setting at plant level for result recording configuration is automatic close, I am not using any sampling procedure and No inspection point is being used. Its a raw material with simple MICs and inspection plan.

system asks for manual valuation wherever it does not found valuation mode and valuation mode is defined in sampling procedure.
For that, in MIC,use the control indicator "Sampling Procedure" active. If you activate this control indicator.
Then when you assign the MIC in the inspection plan, the system will ask the sampling procedure, now in that use the sampling procedure which has valuation mode as "Attributive inspection of non-conforming units" or Mean Value within tolerance range".
After that create inspection lot and do results recording, in that case, system wont ask for manual valuation.

SRM RFx Manual Valuation (Weighing) Functions

Hi Experts ,
We are using SRM7.0.
With SRM RFx, in Manual Valuation (Weighing) Functions / option , ONLY ONE person (Purchaser) can give /assigne score to the Attruibute /Answer given by Bidder.
In our scenarion, each Member of Bidding Panel/ Group gives different different Scores to Attruibute /Answer given by Bidder and then we find Average of the Score which is final.
i.e.
Purchaser 1 - Score 80
Purchaser 2 - Score 90
Purchaser 3 - Score 70
Totale Score of this Question shoule be calucatled by system as (809070) / 3 = 80 automatically .
Can in SRM RFx , multiple people from panel valute differently i.e. Valuation Factor/ Score to Attruibute /Answer given by Bidder and then system can make it Average of the Score automatically ?

From what I understand, what you want to average is the weight for the attribute. This requirement would not be trivial to implement, but you might be able to achieve it through implementation of BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. I'd propose the following:
1. Precondition: all the purchasres that you would like to input their opinion MUST make changes to the RFx manually. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to know their weight value on it. And your average weight(and later score) would be based ONLY on those who actually changed the RFx.
2. In the BADI implementation logic, you would want to manipulate the CT_WEIGHT parameter in the following fashion:
   a. find out the change document history of WEIGHT set including who changed it (look into tables CDPOS/CDHDR)
   b. when it comes to the same BADI logic with current purchaser's weight, take an average of all the weights entered by those in the weight's change document history, plus the current purchaser's weight value.
   c. change the new weight automatically to this new average value

I have done post upgrade adjustments for a program using split screen editor to change to new SAP Orignal. Now this is creating inconsistencies with other programs. How can I reset back the changes I made.

In general,   TCODE SE38, Utilities Menu / Versions / Version Management /
Select a versión   and then clic RETRIEVE button.

Reset of foreign currency valuation

Hi FI-experts
By mistake the foreign currency valuation program was executed. Does anbody know if there is a program that can reset the foreign currency run?
Or is there a manual work around?
Any help is appreciated.

It depends whether you have checked the box "Bal. sheet preparation valuation".
If you didn't select that option, you can just manually reverse all documents by "F.80".
If that option is selected, you have to manually reverse all documents by "F.80", and run another valuation method which has the valuation procedure in "RESET" (OB59) to remove posted FX difference amount in each valuated journal entry.

Reset Foreign Currency Valuation

Hi,
I've reset the reval using fagl_fc_val and it appears in my batch input but I didn't processed yet. Because I noticed the total records are not the same as last run of reval. When I try to reset again it doesn't allow me because I've already run before eventhough I didn't process SM35 yet. Anybody knows how can I cancel the reset reval? Or I have to do it manually then.

Valuation of foreign currency CML by TPM1

We have a contract loans (CML) capitalized interest, the foreign currency rating for the areas of valuation for the calculation by TPM1 is doing excluding capitalized interest.
In FNSA works well.
Any of you can help me what else I can check?

Kindly advise on how to do the config. We need to separate the AR and AP adjustment only for the unrealized Forex/Gain or Loss.
But looking at the screen in OB09, there's only 1 field for the bal.sheet adj.loss and another field for the bal.sheet adj.gain.

Split Valuation For Material Having No Open PO & Stock

Hi Experts,
Will somebody throw light on split valuation where there is no any open PR, PO & Stock for that material but system does not allow to make material split valuated.
System shows error meassge giving old PO nos list.
(Logically all these POS whole business transcations/cycle is completed )
I want split valaution to be done to the material whose stock is nil also there is no any open PR,PO for that plant in the system.
But I dont prefer to delete line items of the old PO for doing the split valuation.
Please suggest solution

You can find severaé threads about this on this forum.
Some hints:
1. In MM02 try to set the split valuation > Save > SAP will give error message > Push the appearing 'Display errors' button > SAP will say what hinders you from being able to set the split valuation.
2. As I remember stock has to be zero in current and previous period. (You can set your stock to zero in the previous period using MB1A201posting date in the past; after having set split valuation you can reset your stock level via MB1A+202).
3. IMPORTANT: you have to archive all existing batch records.

VALUATION NOT APPEARING IN RESULT RECORDING

Hello....
I have created an inspection plan where i have assigned all the characteristic to be inspected with quantative data.
Upon goods receipt inspection lot is generated,
while doing result recording when i enter the result for eg. if the characteristic value is 1-10, and i enter the reult as 1, the valuation has to be set automatically as accepted but its not appearing, could anyone please let me know am i missing any settings.
Suggestions will be worth appretation

If you are using sampling procedure, check the "Valuation Mode". It must be "Manual Valuation" to achieve the valuation Manually.
The trx code will be QDV1/2/3 for Sampling procedure.

Okey if you are not using the sampling procedure then,
Set the value as "Automatic Close" / Close, Navigate and save automatically" in the IMG settings at Quality Management->Basic Settings->Maintain Settings at Plant Level, here for the relevant plant select the "Result Recording" Tab and set the mentioned vales for the field "Recording configuration"
Revert for for further inputs.

Lens Correction Manual Slider Bug!

I've been having a problem with the Lens correction Manual Sliders. Constrain Crop selected.
The vertical and horizontal sliders are behaving more like the distortion slider.
When sliding left or right they are pulling from the center, rather than the right or left end.
Also, with the scale slider....If I scale down it shifts to the right. when I reset all the sliders to zero.
The image doe not reset to its original position.
Is this something that the Lightroom 4 team is aware of?
One all the bugs are fixed I look forward to its release! Your hard work on this software is appreciated!

Well, they *are* distortion sliders (sort of), leaving the very center of the photo unchanged. This has not changed from LR3. I can see no bug there. Also keep in mind that the visual effect is very different from wide angle photos to tele photos. Photos made with a tele lens are more or less just changed in the aspect ratio, and not so much distorted like wide angle photos.
Also, with the scale slider....If I scale down it shifts to the right.
This can happen if you used the horizontal slider before, combined with "Constrain Crop" - because the usable part of the photo shifts to one side or another. In the same way, scaling will shift up/down if one used the vertical slider before. This is perfectly normal. Hint: Try the vertical and horizontal sliders independently, with scaling set to 50 (minimum) and "Constrain Crop" *OFF* to see what they do with the photo - that made it a lot clearer to me how they work.

Also normal, because if you reset the manual corrections after working with "Constrain Crop" enabled, only the manual corrections themselves are reset, leaving the crop&straighten tool at some "funny" settings. Go to crop&straighten and reset it, too.
In conclusion, I see no bugs here. I also fiddled with the various manual sliders, and could not see any behaviour that was different to LR3, which has no bugs in this respect as far as I know...
P.S. I am not sure if I quoted the last question correctly or not. I assume these two sentences belong together?

Has anyone actually done a factory reset on an Airport Express 802.11n?

Apple is telling me two ways to do a factory reset of the new Airport Express with "N" capability. One representative says that you hold the reset button while plugging in the AE and then 4 green flashes should occur and you release the reset button. The other rep says you should hold the reset button while plugging it in and then a series of rapid amber flashes should occur and then you release the reset button. The website says flashing green......sigh.
I have tried both and the green flash never happens while the rapid amber flashes happens and then I release the reset button. I have tried several times and this does not factory reset my AE as all information is still in there when I use the setup utility.
So, if anyone has actually done one of these, which method is correct???

I too had problems with Airport Utility not recognizing the Airport Express. I followed the instructions on the manual to hold the reset button for 10 secs and that did nothing. I did notice that around the 5 sec. mark the AE flashed the amber light repeatedly and then went back to a slow flashing. So instead of holding the button for 10 secs the next time around I only held it for 5 and voala!! It worked. After a few more resets I was able to finally set AE the way I wanted it (creating a new wireless network) and all is well now.
BTW, this is the only I could get my new Macbook Pro's wifi to work consistently and without problems. Prior to this, it kept loosing the network connection and speeds were very slow.

Is your iPhone not showing up in iTunes sidebar, or is iTunes not just launching automatically?
The things that you can check are:
1) Launch iTunes manually
2) Restart or reset your iPhone (http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3281)
3) Check your cable including disconnecting and reconnecting it on bot the phone end and the computer USB end.
4) Reboot your computer
5) As a last resort, take it to the Apple Store so they can check the hardware

Problems after wrt45g v5.1 hard reset

Hello, I need to recover my password, and in short - get to factory defaults. So I followed the manual - hold down the reset button for 30 seconds. Then I plug in my eth cable and connect to 192.168.1.1 via browser but it doesn't work. The power led keeps blinking, the WLAN led doesn't flash at all, as if the router hung during bootup. If I unplug it from power and then reattach the power supply, it boots back into the old settings - what should I do?

Resetting Archived Clearing Documents

We would like to reset Clearing Document using transaction FBRA. The clearing document is archived (the corresponding financial document is not archived). Is there any way manually or programmatically to reset the clearing document which are archived.

As a rule, documents that are still required are not to be archived. If this does not work, you have to reload the FI documents as an alternative.
