Manually change picture paths?

Hi all,
I've tried to merge two iphoto libraries (from two computers). The result is (after trying this and that) that I've got all my pictures in one library but about 90% have a broken path.
The original path used to be:
/Users/~/...
the new path is
/Volumes/mypicturevolume/...
Now what I was trying to do is to simply open iphoto's DB and to find and replace that part of every path it occured in (using BBEdit).
Unfortunately I didn't find the right DB-File yet.
AlbumData.xml contains those paths but is rewritten every time i quit iPhoto (i gues that's because i just contains some export information for other apps)...
I was searching all through the Database-folder but didnt find anything (i guess BBEdit isn't the most suitable program for that)
Has anyone any ideas or went through a similar trouble yet?

yeah - i did not really merge the librabies - i just copied all the pix into one folder.
I use a referenced library to keep iphoto from wasting hd space.
You say: There is no way to manually "fix" a broken database
It's a SQLlite DB - as far as i can tell.
So I thought there could be something like a phpMyAdmin to open the files and fix the links.
I tried SQLEditor and some other Apps but didn't get any useful results.
problem is: I didn't find the correct file yet whichs contains those links.

No.
How did you arrange the shots in iPhoto? In an album, manually?
Then Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
Sort on Filename in the FInder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.

How to change Cache path of Adobe Drive manually?

Hi there,
i have a problem with one of my clients running Adobe Drive 2.1. The Operatingsystem Username of the Standard User on the Client computer was changed (MAC OSX) and now Adobe Drive links its cache file to the old user profile folder. If i try to change it in the Drive settings, it says something like "cannot be done, try again later". Think it must be a rights problem. Tried different ways with new users in the system, drive reinstllation with deletion of preferences a.so. still with the same result, i can't change the path to the cache folder in Adobe Drive and this prevents me from logging in to the cmis server. So the client can't use the Connector and Bridge to handle the connection to the cmis server - a bit unhandy
I think there must be a file in which the cache path of Adobe Drive is hardcoded, but i haven't found the correct file yet (looked in the package contents of Adobe Drive via the Mac Finder). Can you give me a hint, where i can find the cache-path entry?

To change cache path manully, please follow the below steps:
Assuming that the original cache location is /User/userA/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/diskcache, the new cache location is /User/userB/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/diskcache
1. Quit Adobe Drive, and kill CS5ServiceManager
2. Copy files under /User/userA/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/diskcache to /User/userB/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/diskcache
3. Launch Terminal, input the following commands:
3.1 cd /User/userB/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/configuration
3.2 ls -al
you will see .settings folder
3.3 cd .settings
3.4 ls -al
you will see a file with the name org.eclipse.core.runtime.preferences.OSGiPreferences.11.prefs
3.5 vi org.eclipse.core.runtime.preferences.OSGiPreferences.11.prefs
change 'system/cache_location' value to '/User/userB/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/diskcache'
4. Relaunch Adobe Drive, go to settings panel, you'll see that the cache path has been updated.

[SOLVED] Renaming Desktop folder in XFCE, where to change the path?

I'd like to rename the folder Desktop to Czech equivalent Plocha, but of course when I do it, it prevents xfcedesktop from loading it's content to actual desktop (so I have empty desktop than, or only with Trash bin). I'd say I have to change the path from /home/behemot/Desktop to /home/behemot/Plocha somewhere. The question is, where should I do it? :-)

Generate the file with the command:
xdg-user-dirs-update
And change the paths manually. Mine file is adapted to spanish names:

Can't Manually Change Collection Sort Order

When trying to manually change the sort order of any collection I get the following error message:
Database "/Users/Dan Donovan/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom 5 Catalog.lrcat": AgLibraryCollectionImageOzSortOrder.positionInCollection may not be NULL
Statement: INSERT OR REPLACE INTO AgLibraryCollectionImageOzSortOrder

How to restrict manual changing of free goods in sales order

As per SAP Standard, when the main Item quantity is changed, the Free Goods are redetermined. In this case any manual changes to Free Goods Quantities are lost.
But your requirement is for restricting the Chages of the Quantity of Free Goods Correct?
I believe there is no SAP standard solution for this. You will have to apply a User Exit, which will check the Item category of each LIne item & if it is free goods (TANN) then changes are not permitted.

It is possible through configuration better you can post in sd forums.
For the condition type settings , ensure that the manual entries is 'D'. it wont allow any changes in the order.

When I download Firefox, it won't let me change the path and so tries to download on a public computer, which isn't allowed. The reason I want it on my home computer is because I'm creating web pages and I want to view my html pages using a variety of browsers, including Firefox.

From another computer, go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/, click "Free download" button, click "Save File" button, select your flash drive in "Save as" window. "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" file will be saved in your flash drive.
You just need to insert it in your new computer and double-click on "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" from Windows Explorer and follow instructions.

In the Sales Order,Select Environment and then Changes to See all Changes made.
Follow the Same procdure for Invoice also.
There is no Standard report as such to see the changes.

Federal court website gives a .pl document which opens as garbage until we manually change it to .pdf, is there any way to get Firefox to do this automatically?

I am using a Mac. When downloading a document from the federal court website using Firefox, we get a .pl document which opens as garbage (in TextEdit) until we manually change it to .pdf, which causes it to open just fine (in Preview). It used to work fine, giving a .pdf document every time, but apparently upgrades to Firefox have removed this functionality. As far as I can tell my computer, an iMac running Mac system OS X 10.10.1, does not recognize the .pl format. Is there any way to get Firefox to automatically convert a downloaded file from .pl format to .pdf format? My friend tells me that Google Chrome downloads these documents with no problem. I would prefer to stick with Firefox but I might have to change if every downloaded document is in an unreadable format.
This is a typical example of what I get when I try to open a .pl document (the pdf version is a one page document using plain English):

The question I have is... How do you change the path settings for the 2 required swfs (the skin swf and the player)? I would ideally like to have all my flash components including the skin swf and the player swf in the same folder as the flv (rather than have the swfs in the root of the same folder as my html doc), but everytime I try to adjust the path settings of the swfs in the above code I get a white screen.
hope this makes sense and is not confusing...
Any suggestions?

Just got automatically installed the latest 6.22 version of skype few minutes ago and I got a few questions.
First and foremost, how can I MANUALLY change the height of the textbox, where I type the messages. I would like to make it larger, like in the previous versions of skype. I don't want to move my mouse cursor through the entire monitor to reach this tiny textbox.
And second, why you guys are trying constanly to ruin something that is working perfectly ? Going to revert to the previous version until you fix all these nuisances.

There is no way to do this, it is designed to be strictly landscape with keyboard, portrait without - not the best thought-out phone on the market, mainly geared towards compulsive texters and e-mailers.
There's no way to know whetherNokia will change this with any future updates, perhaps you should make the recommendation to them directly using the 'contact us' link.

Is it possible to change the path of the JSESSIONID in WebCenter Content (formerly UCM)?

We are having problems with multiple portal applications, spaces, and WebCenter Content all using JSESSIONID. I know you cannot change the name or path of the cookie in spaces and I know how it can be changed in the apps. I also know that Oracle do not recommend changing the name in UCM, which would be OK if we could change the path from "/" to something else...say "/cs". I have not been able to find a way to do this so any help would be appreciated.

It has been draining my mobile data I now have very high bills from my mobile carrier for high data usage. I can only manually change settings in the Network and turn cellular data on and off everytime I get home and leave the home. This is very frustrating as it wasn't a problem until the upgrade. I have spoken to a few people that this has happened to. Has anyone found this problem and does anyone have other solutions?

Would you like to locate it?" I have changed the path several times under preferences and it still won't recognize any songs from either my laptop hard drive or my external drive. I can't play any music at all.

I think I've fixed this on my machine. If you look in the ITunes folder there is a subfolder called Previous iTunes Libraries. In my case for some reason this contained the one which had always worked and a new one was in the main folder. I closed iTunes, deleted the new one, and moved the old one back to the main folder, then opened iTunes. It then rebuilt the library and it plays correctly. Hope it works for you.
