Manually selecting Putaway destination

I am trying to write a program that will do a MB1B - LT06 - LT12 in one step.
I am successful with the MB1B step.
In the LT06 step, I am getting the following error: No storage destination could be found in storage type 001.
I went into SPRO > WM > Strategiies > Stock Remove Stategies > define "Fixed Bin" Strategy. I double checked the putaway strategy here, and it is blank. I also check the 922 and it is blank also. This is manual.
Then...I used the document number created in the MB1B step, and entered it into LT06 and got the same error.
What I want is to type a location in my program, and pull that into the LT06 step for the putaway. but I can't get past the error. What piece am I missing?
I am trying to move from one storage location to a second storage location in the same warehouse.

dont you feel that you try to automate something what does not work in your manual process ?
Only thing what an automation of something what does not work does is: Automatic creation of failures.
you can have one fixed bin per storage type.
How do you develope? do you use function modules like : L_TO_CREATE_POSTING_CHANGE or
L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE

Uncheck all the songs in the playlist. iTunes will then play one song and stop.

Select a destination volume blank and HD not showing up in disc utility

I have sold my PowerBook G4 and was trying to wipe the hard drive so that the buyer would not have access to any deleted files. I used the install disc and clicked erase free space. Now, I have tried to install the CD Mac OS X and it gets up to "Select a destination" and this is blank with no option to click anything except "Go back". When I open up desk utility, my HD does not appear there. The HD was working fine before I clicked on "erase free space" earlier.
Any suggestions?

When you say that the HDD isn't showing up in Disk Utility, do you mean that it isn't showing up on the left hand side of the app like in this picture?

Printer has to be manually selected to print

I am using Adobe reader X on Win 7 pro x64. Whenever I open up a pdf and press Ctrl+P, scroll to file->print or press the print icon (only three ways I know how to print using reader) it just closes the dialog box and nothing happens. I then go back into it and have to select an alternate printer, but yet the same printer. Confusing I know let me see if I can explain a bit. The printer I am trying to print to is called Tokyo. So when I go to try to print it says that Tokyo is selected. When I click the down arrow for more options, it gives me "Send to OneNote", "Microsoft XPS Document Writer", "Fax", and then "Tokyo" in that order, so that tokyo apears twice, both first and last. When I manually select the second Tokyo printer it prints, every time without problems. As is with other computers in the building. However when the first one is selected it does nothing, as if I pressed the cancel button. I've verified that there is only one printer driver installed, and whenever any of the computers having this problem print using any other program, such as word or excel, only one version of Tokyo shows up, and pressing the print prints everytime without having to do anything. Printer is an HP LaserJet 4100 Series PCL if that makes any difference.

Your issue is similar to what Scrawner had in forum thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/4168581 .
We have now permanently fixed this issue in our latest update (10.1.3). Thus, I would suggest you to install our latest update and let us know if that resolves your problem.

Similar problem here. My Ical refuses to edit or delete events. Viewing is possible, though sometimes the whole screen turns grey. Adding new events from mail is still possible. The task-pane completely disappeared. My local apple technic-centre messed about with disk utility for a bit and than told me to reinstall leopard. I could of course do that, but it seems to me that reinstalling Leopard just to fix iCal events is a bit invasive.
I tried also tried removing everything, installing a new copy of iCal from the leopard-cd, software updates, all to no avail.
At the moment I'm open to all suggestions that do not include a complete leopard reinstall.

Firefox 8.0 No New Tab displays next to open tab, have to manually select new tab

I am no longer seeing a New Tab when I have a tab in use... in FF 3.6, & 4.0 when I opened a site in a tab, then a New Tab would automatically appear to the right of the tab in use... I checked tab settings in OPTIONS, and all correct.... So now I have to manually select "New Tab" if I want to open a new tab....and it's not opening a new site into a new tab as is selected in OPTIONS, instead it opens in the current tab, so it's overriding the tab I am on... very frustrating.. How can I go back to FF 4.0????? thanks TB

Do you have any themes installed?
Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
If so, try selecting the default theme and restart the browser.
Also check to see if you can add the "+" by right-clicking on tab toolbar in a blank area and selecting "Customize...". Then select the "+" button from the list of available buttons and drag it to the right of the rightmost tab.
Another method:
1. Right click somewhere on the toolbar area and select Customize.
2. Add flexible space to the far right side of the tabs toolbar, to the left of the (now white) "+" icon.

Cannot select HD destination!!

I recently inherited a Mac mini from my late grandfather's estate. It had a ton of his personal info on it and I didn't want it to potentially fall into the wrong hands so I erased the volume. I used the OEM 10.3 OS X install disc and then used the Disk Utility app to over write the volume 8 times. Now I'm trying to install the OS again, but when I get to the "select destination" option, the drive shows up but has the red exclamation stop sign and I cannot select a volume to install the OS. What did I do wrong? Please help!

Give this a try:
Extended Hard Drive Preparation
1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger or Leopard.)
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID (for Intel Macs) or APM (for PPC Macs) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait the process has completed.
4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Steps 4-6 are optional but should be used on a drive that has never been formatted before, if the format type is not Mac OS Extended, if the partition scheme has been changed, or if a different operating system (not OS X) has been installed on the drive.
Quit DU and return to the installer. At the point where you select a destination select the destination drive then click on the Options button. Select the option for Erase and Install then click on the OK button. Finish the installation.
Note that you must use an installer disc that either came originally with the computer or a later version of OS X than the version originally installed on the computer when it was new. If you use a later version of OS X then it must also be a version compatible with the computer and its configuration - amount of installed RAM and hard drive capacity.

T61 Bluetooth Audio needs to be manually selected

I am using a Motorola S805 headset with my T61. They pair successfully and I have all necessary services activated. However, in order to stream audio through the headset, I need to manually select the "bluetooth audio device" in the sounds/devices control panel. Is there anyway to get around this? Shouldn't the stream of audio be automatic?

Welcome to the forums!
There sure is a way to automate the streaming.
1) Turn on the bluetooth radio (Fn-F5), once the radio's on, right-click the bluetooth icon in the taskbar and select "Bluetooth Configuration". (Alternate way is to turn on the bluetooth radio, open "My Bluetooth Places" on the desktop and select "Bluetooth Configuration" from the "Bluetooth" menu item).
2) Click the "Local Services" tab, select "Audio Gateway" (double-click to open the properties) and check the box "Startup Automatically".
Next time you turn on the bluetooth radio and your headset, they should pair and the headset should automatically be connected.
That should do the trick.

MB26 How can I avoid the Manual selection of stocks?

Dear experts
When I use Stock Determination function in MB26 (picking list) the systems (obviously) uses our stock determination rules to determine which stocks to pick.
However, when it fails to automatically locate the required stock , it brings the user to Manual stock selction screen (program SAPLMDBF) for EVERY item that it fails to locate stock.
This is quite annoying , since our users have to press the back button for EVERY such item.
We are not interested in Manual selection. The desired behaviour for us is that the system will simply ignore these incidents and process only the reservations that it managed to automatically locate stock for.
How can I achieve this ?

Hi,
You can take easy way, on the selection screen choose the parameter "Storage Location" not equal to ' ' -- blank, then execute the report, you will only get the items with correct stock determination automatically. Hope it's helpful to you!

Installing Mac OS X 10.4 "Select a Destination" Error Fix

Please help! I have nothing to click on when i am prompted at this time in installation. All i can to is go back. If i try to start the computer on its own it has a file and a ? flashing. And when i hold C down and boot off the Install DVD i can only get as far as to "Select a Destination" and there is nothing theyre in the box for me to click on. Please Help!!!!

More than likely, your Mac's hard drive has failed. You did not indicate what kind of Mac you have in your profile, but if you have a non-Intel Mac, pick up a copy of the latest Disk Warrior and see if it can fix your hard drive.

WAD execute planning function only for manually selected cells

I have a simple standard "delete" planning function. In the WAD I add this function as a button.
Is it possible to make it so that the delete function only executes for the manually selected cells in the WAD planning layout.
I want to manually select 3 cells (3 periods out of 12 that are displayed as fixed columns) and then run the delete function which should only delete values of those 3 highlighted cells.

Deleting values in selected cells is not ossible when using delete planning function. However, there is an alternative. You can implement the How-To guide "How to Copy and Paste in BEx Web Applications for IP http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80220fed-0e6d-2b10-bbb9-f6af76dee0cc"
Then in delete script function which is called on delete button you add code to call REFRESH_DATA command as well.
So whatever cell you select and then click delete the data will be deleted and by REFRESH_DATA the same will be updated in planning buffer.

Manual selection production version during order creation

hello!
i have setup production orders that during order creation the production version has to be selected manually. this works fine in CO01 and CO40. but in CO41 the production version is determined automatically - where would i change that setting?

In my understanding it is not possible in standard SAP.
If you have manual selection of production version and if you have set the BOM selection method as 2 in
MRP 4 view of the material master then,
1.If you create a production order manually then the system displays the pop up to select a production
version.
2.If you are converting the planned order into a production order then it picks up the one which is
present in the planned order.So obviously if 2 production versions are there with same lot size and
validity dates,then the system picksup the first one only during MRP run.
Even if it picks up the first prod.version in planned order,but while converting click on master data and
change the production version if required.
3.Otherwise what you can do is set the production version in MD61 itself ,so that its going to be
considered during MRP run and same will be included in the planned order.
Check and revert back.

Have to manually select my network each time I open an application

We recently upgraded to an Intel iMac from a G3 iMac. Everything transferred great using the migration assistant. Our only problem is that we have to manually select our home network each time we open an application such as Safari. Once connected everything works great. It's a minor inconvenience but one I'd like to fix. Probably it's just a simple check box somewhere but I haven't been able to find it. Thanks in advance for any help.

In the Network perference pane, under Airport, there is a setting that should read "By default join preferred networks." Beneath this setting, there is a list of preferred networks. Make sure that your home network is listed first, and/or delete all others (if any). Also, make sure that the setting "Disconnect from network upon logout" is not selected.
