Apple can do nothing. As Tim said, only the carrier to whom the iPhone is locked can authorize unlocking. You must contact that carrier.

I lost my iphone and had to replace it. All my contacts were on my original iphone which wasa a version 4.
I had to replace the phone and now have a 4S. I had never backed up my original phone. How do I download all my contacts to icloud etc so I can upload to my new 4S?
Right now the original phone is "disabled" and it tells me I have to enter my 4 digit pin. It also says the only calls I can make are for assistance...

How do I keep the data backed up that is on both iphone and ipad.In Regards to this, You possibly wont be able to get the contacts from the iPhone 4 unless there is a back up file on your computer.
The original phone would be disabled due to alot of attempts of the wrong passcode. If all your contacts are on the cloud at the moment, you would be able to just set the iPhone 4S up with iCloud on it then Turn On "Contacts".
This would be bring all the contacts down from your iCloud onto your 4S.
But you will only be able to merge your contacts with the cloud when your original iPhone either has been enabled or the passcode was entered.
If you have previously already had iCloud on that device and have contacts Turned on, you will be able to just enter the same Apple ID you used for iCLoud on your original phone and use it on your new one.
Your able to check what content your iCloud holds via www.icloud.com
If you are unable to get past the disabled screen, then unfortunately the device will have to be put into recovery mode and then restored via iTunes NOTE: This will delete all data. -
For some reason some of my apps suddenly went dark and say waiting. I tried syncing with the computer and updating all the apps but they stayed dark. The individual apps in question say they are updated when I looked at them. Any ideas? Do I need to just delete them off the IPad and start over?
Hi you guys,four days ago my FT and iMessage worked well on my iPhone 5 IOS6.1.3,but my phone Number did not in the caller ID loop,so I turned both of them off,when I wanted to turn it on again,but failed,I tried so many times,but make no difference,It shows me"waiting for activation".Then I found the solution on internet,and you know there are many possible solutions,just like:
1.change the wifi DNS to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4.and you must turn your cellular ON.
2.restore the phone setting.Settings>>General>>reset>>all the phone setting.
3.restore the network setting.Setting>>General>>reset>>the network setting.
3.reset the network.
4.reset your Date&time.Setting>>Date&Time>>set automaticlly>>ON.
5.change another network to activate.
6.take out the sim card to activate.
I did everything,but nothing happend,it still"waiting for activation"
And today afternoon,i try to activate again,when i turn iMessage on,it activate successfully.OMG,it is really amazing.and the same to my Facetime.
I am so exciting and strange how it happen...
I followed all the setting above 1.2.3.4.5.6,the only difference is i turned the "enable 3G" OFF(Settings>>General>>Cellular Data>>Enable 3G>>OFF),but it keep ON before now.
seriously,i am not sure if the "enable 3G"causes this problem,but it really happened to me,so you guys can try if you have the same problem,

WHY YOU SALE A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT EVEN COMPLETE OR BUGS FREE? big problem 1: You can't tell objects to re-start from the beging on any txt or graphics in a symbol. Only one works sometimes. Also, Muse, you can't not embed Animate without getting the Error on the browser. and many other problems too.Thank you!
Here are the bugs:
1. No matter in what folder I publish animate to, Muse will give this Error on the brosw:
MuseJSAssert: Error calling selector function: TypeError: $(...).toBrowserWidth is not a function
2. Impossible to delete symbol after you create and rename them from the symbol folder library.
3. Pre-load need to add % to it so you can display other things while is being load. also, it does not work most of the time, it just keep in a loop forever. speciall in the i-phone.
4. Text shows ok in an Android phone but not in an I-Phone, I had to create two text boxes to display two words right in an i-phone 5s. Like this... Today Show... And Today only shows up with an empty space.
5. The sync problem and how I figured out the work around. Right now if I have more than 2 graphics inside a symbol you can not reset or re-start both of them from the beginning of "0" or a label. One will jump to the number or label. and a crazy thing too is that if you have text boxes they all reset to frame zero showing all in top of each other. My work around was to create symbols with only one animated graphics inside and sinc all the other graphics in the same matter. but this is nuts!
6. It will crash photoshop and desktop, you can't right click when animate crashe, you have to reboot system.
7. and one more thing. Sometimes you can not delete key frames. You have to remove the graphics from the timeline.

Hello, I am a newbie to the world of Mac laptops. I have plugged my iphone into my new Mac Air but when I start up iTunes, it is not showing as it use to on my PC. I have followed other instructions and it is telling me that it is being transferred by air but they are not in my contacts list. It has told me to check the settings on my phone but I can not see hwere to do this or how to sync them onto my macair book. Please help!

Thank you Carolyn, I understand that and do use the same P/w for both the iphone and the computer and the apps were origionally for the iphone anyway, they just used to back on the computer and now they wont and the imac even cancels them off my iphone when I sync. And it says "Itunes" has made an error, try again...with the coes -54 and -50. This means I canot ack up my iphone properly.

I have taken a couple of pics with my iPhone 5 and they're not showing up in iPhoto on my mac. I've signed up for iCloud and it's enabled. I've gone into "system preferences" and made sure iCloud is on, and PhotoStream is also. I've gone under iPhoto preferences to make sure everything is checked. It's also under settings in my phone...all checked and turned on there too. I thought when you took a pic with your phone they were supposed to show up in Photo Stream in your iPhoto on your Mac automatically, without needing to sync. What am I doing wrong?

have tried downloading most up to date version of i tunes, restarting computer, different usb lead, different usb port, checked / disabled security measures... nothing seems to work and it just keeps saying waiting on iphone when it is trying to restore but the loading bar appears empty on the iphone screen then nothing happens, phone goes blank and error message pops up!

I bought my E70 yesterday and after working on it without any problems tonight I was trying to open a web page using the browser, and the browser showed me the message above.
It shows the same exact message for *all* pages I try to visit.
The behavior started after I had shut the phone off and then turned it back on.
I'm assuming the browser has crashed, but I don't know how to "reset it." I did already delete the cache and cookies, without any effect.
Or maybe some problem with the phone;s WiFi?
I'm new to the E70, so I can't say much about OS version or the like. I've searched around a bit on this forum, and googled, without success.
Does anyone know how I can get my browser back?
BTW: I connect using the WiFi which I'm sure that is working - tested it on my Laptop.

For the people who are having the same problem and looking for a solution, the only way I found to get around this was to backup the phone, format it, and restore your stuff back.

Firefox does not prompt to save my tabs nor does it bring them back when it reopens. It does not even bring up my home page. I have tried the suggested fixes in the help section. This still happens in safe mode so I tried disabling plugins etc. - no change.

I attempted to update my iphone 3 using itunes. I'm not certain but I believe I did a backup on my pc first. I am now unable to use the phone at all - the slide bar won't move and I have a camera icon next to the slide bar which is not responsive. I have tried to sync and even left the phone connected to the pc overnight. The phone is going flat within a couple of hours and won't stop beeping every few seconds and seems to be syncing all the time, even when disconnected from pc. I am fearful that I have lost all my contacts - nothing is working - can anyone help - please?
Try resetting it if you can: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release. If you can't, try to connect it to iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your sync settings and click Restore to restore it. If that doesn't work you'll have to force it into recovery mode to restore it as outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.
You can check in iTune to see if you have a backup. They are listed in iTunes>Preferences>Devices. However, the backup may not bring your contacts back as contacts are only backed up as necessary to preserve the recent call and call favorites lists.
