CA.GThe FFP packages are fastformula packages that were invalidated after running the HRGLOBAL driver and will compile normally with adadmin
as for the remaining formulas they will not compile with adadmin for some reason, and you have to open each package and re-compile the packages it refferences even if they are valid.
reffer to Oracle document [ID 1065445.1] ENGFDECN ECO Form When Try to Tab out of Field ECO Number, get FRM-40735: WHEN-VALIDATE_ITEM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-04063
despite that the solution in the doc id above talks only about ENGFDECN but it applies to all other packages. I've faced the same issue and now I have ZERO invalid packages, it will take sometime but it's worth a while.

    Thanks,
NishWhat is the error you get when you compile those objects?
How many invalid objects you have under each schema?
Please see old threads for the invalid objects MOS docs (after R12 upgrade and generic ones).

  • Invalid objects found after R12.1.2 upgrade from R12.1.1

    Hi all,
We had Oracle E-Business R12.1.1 vanilla installation before and just upgraded to R12.1.2 by applying patch (7303033), in which during this process there was an error stating some errors found at forms library.
    And the below query;
select count(*) from dba_objects where owner ='APPS and status = 'INVALID''; --gave us 84 objects.
Due to this we ran a recompilation of the apps schema and Application database entire using the "adadmin" command, after which the above query has fallen down the output to "48" counts from "84" counts.
Basically the instalallation and upgrade has been done by the vendor of Oracle product to us and have no metalink account as yet ( which will be provided to us after the go live date).
I just want to know will this effect our production enviornment and if so how could I rectify it...
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

  • "Invalid Annotation Object" error

I'm using Windows XP Pro (SP3) on a 2.66 GHz, 2 GB RAM computer, and while working in an Adobe Acrobat 9 document, I had just saved the file (CTRL+S) and the document froze and I got a Windows error box that asked if I wanted to send an error report, which I did. When I opened Adobe again, it asked if I wanted to open the last file which didn't save correctly, which I did.
Then when I proceeded to work in the document and tried to highlight a sentence I was going to delete, I got an Adobe Acrobat popup box that said "Invalid Annotation Object. OK" but no matter how many times I clicked on "OK," the box kept popping up and wouldn't go away. I tried saving a copy of the document, but the same box was in it and wouldn't go away. I couldn't even work in the document to extract pages or anything else. Huge problem!
Does anyone know what can I do to resolve this problem? (This happened on a Saturday when Adobe phone support is not accessible.)

On 3/24/2015 same problems, after Adobe Acrobat 9 pro. crashed while I added text boxes.. When I opened Adobe again, Yes to open the last file which didn't save correctly, then "Invalid Annotation Object" errors on my .pdf file of 96 pages

Here is a technique for identifying all the pages that have invalid annotation objects on them:
    1. Document > Extract Pages ...
•Select the checkbox for "Extract Pages As Separate Files"
•Set the destination to a 'dedicated' folder that won't contain any other files -- that way, you can simply delete the folder when this process is done.
    •Click OK.
    2. During the extraction, click OK in all the message boxes that appear.
    3. After the extraction, look in the destination folder to see which pages are missing. Those are the pages that have invalid annotation objects.
From this point you can try to delete the objects, or simply delete and replace the pages, or implement a different solution. Hope this helps someone.
    - after extract the 96-pages file into individual files into a dedicated folder, only 95 got extracted and page 1 was not/can not be extracted.
    - I then combined the 95 good extracted pages into a new file name .pdf
    - then inserted a good page 1 without error (from the file that was saved previous day, prior to all the changes I made on the corrupted file), re work on page 1
    - delete the bad file.

  • Several errors after running catalog.sql

I did a fresh installation of oracle apps EBS 11.5.10.2 on Linux OEL and was trying to do an import/export and it was not working as expected. So after i looked at Oracle's documentation it said catalog.sql has to be run before using the import/export. So i ran catalog.sql first but i did not run it with SYSDBA but ran it as SYSTEM and i saw several errors like access denied etcv. after i ran the catalog.sql i was not able to login via apps or any other user except SYSTEM and was giving me erros like ORA-04065:not executed, altered or dropped stored procedure "SYS.DBMS_SESSION"
After this to fix the issue i ran @?/rdbms/admin/catpatch.sql and @?/rdbms/admin/utlrp as SYSDBA but both executed a lot of grants etc but are haging at some point and not finishing.
The current state of the database is that im not able to login via any user except SYSTEM and i think i corrupted the db dictionary as everywhere i see they say running catalog.sql on an existing database is a bad idea. Can anyone help?

    Hi Dheeraj,
My db version is 9.2.0.5.0 and OS is OEL 5.7.
The doc where it was mentioned to run catalog.sql before using import/export is below:

Please do not follow the steps in this link and instead follow the steps in (9i Export/Import Process for Oracle Applications Release 11i [ID 230627.1]).
Currently when im trying to login using apps or any other user below are errors i get.

  • Learn Objective-C after learning C plus plus

    Hi,
I’m currently taking a C++ class but in the future I would like to learn Objective-C since I’m more interested on iOS development and I’m taking C++ only because is what the college uses.
I was looking at some online tutorials about Objective-C and I’m a little disappointed because I was hoping to see similarities between C++ and Objective-C since both languages come from C.  I guess my confusion started when I tried to use the online compiler called idleone (www.idleone.com) to practice a few things I learned reading “Programming in Objective C 3rd Edition” but to my surprise the compiler doesn’t recognize a lot of the code ( NSLog etc…) and cannot compile my code. Let clarify that I only use this online compiler when I’m away from my computer, I do use Xcode.
    - Why is Objective-C 2.0 not compatible with other compilers?
    - Is Objective-C 2.0 an Apple version of Objective-C and will only compile using Xcode?
    - Is Objective-C different from Objective-C 2.0, how many different versions of Objective-C exist?
    - How hard would it be to get the basics on Objective-C after learning a little C++?
    - Are there any similarities between C++ and Objective-C?
Can someone be so kind and  help me to unsderstand the difference between these two languages and maybe the difference between Objective-C and Objective-C 2.0?
Sorry if my questions don’t make too much sense but as I said I’m confused.
    Thanks a lot

You appear to have exhausted your allocation of two helpful stars. You can still award someone the full 10-point "solved" jackpot
Is there anything in particular that you still think could be answered? Learning to program is very much a personal experience. No one else can say how much you can or will learn using any method. In general, you learn by doing. Those parts of Objective-C that you need to use for your programs you will learn well. Other parts that you never use will continue to be a mystery. The basics of memory management, error handling, bindings, key/value observing, etc. will be the same. Just the details are different.
Anything you learn in your C++ class will likely be basic stuff and easily applicable to Cocoa. You probably won't get much into the details of template programming. That knowledge won't help you in Cocoa. It won't even help you in C++. I've been using C++ on and off since 1995. I used to be a big fan of the language but finally decided that the enormous effort required to understand templates just wasn't worth it. I could do the same thing far more easily in C, Objective-C, or Perl. So why punish myself? It was an enjoyable challenge getting C++ templates to work properly, but it sure wasn't doing anything for the bottom line - a very low return on intellectual investment.

  • Strange Data Mapping Errors after SEM 6 Upgrade. Please assist.

Hi All, I encountered these sudden Mapping errors after I tried to do Testing in Post Upgrade Sand Box. Here I am trying to to perform Collected Reported Financial Data under Data Collection Method for a particular Company Code 3040. Kindly help me with some quick responses as this is kind of high priority. The errors and the Diagnosis Notes I am unable to follow as I do not where I shall write those Mapping Rules they are referring to. I do not even know if that need to apply any SAP Notes as such. Once again Highly appreciate your quick response and Many Thanks in Advance.

Input conversion for field Period Value LC has invalid format Message no. UCT8210 Diagnosis The mapping rule for target field Period Value LC contains a move with a selected Input Conversion indicator. Therefore, the system performs an input conversion prior to creating the target data. However, an error in the input conversion occurred while moving the source key figure to the target key figure Period Value LC. This means that the format used for the input conversion is incompatible with the target data. System Response The system will not perform the move. Procedure Examine the mapping rule for field Period Value LC. Either select the Conversion Exit indicator or deselect the Input Conversion indicator. Execute the method again. -
3040 is incompatible with input format for field /1FB/COMPANY Message no. UCT8258 Diagnosis During execution, the method derives the source selection for source field /1FB/COMPANY from the mapping rule for the target field. 3040 is one of the values that were derived for the source selection. The system requires that this value is in the correct SAP-internal format because the Conversion Exit indicator has been selected in the move operator for field /1FB/COMPANY. However, the value 3040 is incompatible with the SAP-internal format. System Response The system attempts to interpret value 3040 as an external format and convert it to the internal format. If this fails, the system is unable to restrict the source selection using source field /1FB/COMPANY. In this case, the system may read more source data than was originally intended, which can affect performance. Procedure In the log, choose the Source button to display the source selections that are used to read the source data. When this appears, examine values selected for field /1FB/COMPANY. If the correct values were selected, you can ignore this message. To prevent this message from being issued, you can select the indicator in the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY. If incorrect values were selected, make sure that the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY has been defined correctly. If the mapping rule is correct and value (3040) derived for the source selection does not affect the overall result, you can ignore this message. If the source selection does not contain the value 3040 for field /1FB/COMPANY and, because of this, source data that is supposed to be read is not being read, make sure that the mapping rule has been defined correctly. If the source selection does not contain any value for field /1FB/COMPANY, make an estimation as to how much excess source data is being read and whether this might affect system performance. If you do not expect any performance problems, you can ignore this message. In any event, you have the following alternatives if the mapping rule is defined correctly, but the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY is unsatisfactory: You can define a source selection for field /1FB/COMPANY in the Customizing settings for the method on the Selection tab page. Then the method uses this source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. You can implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) UC_DATATRANSFER and use the method INVERT to determine the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY. Then the method uses the result of the INVERT method for the source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. -
Cannot derive the source selection from target field Version Message no. UCT8252 Diagnosis Field Version has one of the following roles: Consolidation unit Group currency key Fiscal year Posting period Version To delimit the volume of the source data to be read, the system usually derives the source selection from the target selection of such a field. However, the system cannot derive a source selection from field Version. System Response It is possible that a greater volume of source data is being read than is necessary. This can lead to performance issues. Procedure Check whether a mapping rule is defined for field Version. If a mapping rule is defined, you can disregard this warning message. However, if you discover after method execution that the system did not process a large amount of data, and that system performance was not satisfactory, you may want to examine the source selection by choosing the Source button in the log. If the reason for the disregarded data is that too much source data was read because of the unrestricted selection on the source field (which is linked with target field Versionthrough mapping), choose one of the alternatives below: Change the mapping rule for field Version so that the system can derive a delimiting source selection. Implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) UC_DATATRANSFER with the method INVERT to delimit the selection for the source field that is linked via mapping to the target field Version. -

1 is incompatible with input format for field FISCPERIOD Message no. UCT8258 Diagnosis During execution, the method derives the source selection for source field FISCPERIOD from the mapping rule for the target field. 1 is one of the values that were derived for the source selection. The system requires that this value is in the correct SAP-internal format because the Conversion Exit indicator has been selected in the move operator for field FISCPERIOD. However, the value 1 is incompatible with the SAP-internal format. System Response The system attempts to interpret value 1 as an external format and convert it to the internal format. If this fails, the system is unable to restrict the source selection using source field FISCPERIOD. In this case, the system may read more source data than was originally intended, which can affect performance. Input must be in the format ___,___,__~ Message no. 00088 Diagnosis Your entry does not match the specified input format. System Response The entry in this field was rejected. Procedure The entry must comply with the edit format. The following edit format characters have a special meaning: "_" (underscore) There should be an input character at this point; this should be a number for numeric fields. "." (decimal point) (applies to numeric fields) The decimal point occurs here (setting in the user master record). "," (thousands separator) (applies to numeric fields) This separator occurs (optionally) for more than three figures. Depending on the setting in the user master record, it can be a period or a comma. "V" (applies to numeric fields) The operational sign appears here. If used, it must by at the right margin of the field. The sign is either "-" or " "(space). "~" (tilde) (applies to numeric fields) As of and including this character, leading zeros must also be entered. Otherwise, this character has the same meaning as an underscore. Leading zeros need not be entered on the left of the tilde. They are not output at this position. All other characters have their normal meanings and must be entered in the same position as in the edit format.

    Hi Dan,
Could you Kiindly advise me where we need to write the Mapping Rules in Consolidation Monitor? All he time the errors refering to Mapping Rules. The only Tab I seen "Mapping" is in Data Basis But as per my Understanding Iwe do not have much to do there as it is system generated Mapping Tab.
Where we actually go and select/deselct those Input Conversion Indicator/ Conversion exit Indicator.
    Highly appreciate your advise.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • My kids ipod nano 5th gen does not sync to music and gets error 13019 message.  So far done all the suggestions - and now it has NO music.  It seems to download all the music and then error after the last song.

Kids ipod gets the 13019 error after trying to sync.  I have done all the suggestions online and now it has no music and will not sync.
It seems to download all the music and on the last song clicks out and says unknown error.
    any other suggestions?
Kid is mad now there is NO music on the ipod.  At least before it had the old music and just would not download new songs.
All worked on our iphones, and other ipods.  Just hers is wacked.
    thanks

I've encountered the same problem as this recently, but unfortunately i haven't worked out how to fix it yet.
I tried to fit too many songs on my ipod nano from itunes, and it told me it would create a selection of these (titled my songs) and put them on the nano, which it did. I then went back onto itunes to delete some songs so that they would all fit on the nano. I also deleted the "my songs" playlist, knowing that all the songs were still stored under Music on itunes. When i tried to sync the nano it said that it couldn't be synced as the required disk cannot be found.

  • File adapter error after updating to SP19 (INBOUND_BINDING_ERROR)

File adapter error after updating to SP19 (INBOUND_BINDING_ERROR)
    Hi all,
im having some troubles after the installation of SP19 (from SP16 in NW04) with File Adapter (File->Idoc scenario).
In message monitoring (Adapter Engine), I have several messages with status "System Error". The error text is :

ErrorText:   ErrorStack: Error in sender agreement for party '', service 'LEGACY_DEV', interface namespace 'http://XXXXX.com/XXXXXX', interface 'INTERFACE_OB' No sender agreement found for , , , , ,</i>
Im sure that the Integration Directory settings have not been changed. So I tried the following, but the problem persists:
    - Deactivation/Activation of File Adapter channel
    - check that user XIISUSER is not locked
    - checked SXI_CACHE (it seems ok)
    - Many CPA full refresh
    - Dummy modifications of File Adapter channels (a dummy modification of the description)
    - Reboot J2EE
I've seen that someone else had problems after upgrading to SP19. I'd really appreciate any suggestion of how to solve my issue.
    Thank you

  • Safari 4.0 gives videobox error after videobox uninstall

Safari 4.0 will not open. The icon bounces a few times and then gives me an Error Dialog saying that VideoBox is the probable cause. • Intermittent too many open files error and Invalid TLV error

    Post Author: jam2008
    CA Forum: General
I'm writing this up in the hopes of saving someone else a couple of days of hair-pulling...
Environment: Crystal Reports XI Enterprise / also runtime via Accpac ERP 5.4
    Invalid TLV error in Accpac
"too many open files" error in event.log file
    Situation:
Invalid TLV error occurs seemingly randomly on report created in CR Professional 11.  Several days of troubleshooting finally lead to the following diagnosis:
This error occurs in a report that contains MORE THAN 1 bitmap image.
The error only shows up after 20 or more reports have been generated sequentially, WITHOUT CLOSING the application that is calling the report.  In our case the Invoice Report dialog within Accpac.  This same error occurred in a custom 3rd party VB.NET app that also called the report through an Accpac API.

after getting this message you need to do 2 things:
    1. delete the current workspace because it contains some bad data in one the config files - failure to delete the workspace will result the error message to appear even if trying to upload a single file.
    2. add to DTR files in groups - no more than 500 in a single add.

  • How do I fix an "Insane Object" Error ?

I am receiving an "Insane Object" error when I load one partuclar VI. Is there any way to "copy" the diagram to a new file to fix the corrupted Object ? I am using Win N/T 4.0 and LabView 6i. The module was originally designed using LabView 5.X and the Module appears to work OK after accepting the Error Messages.

I think the most complete discussion of this situation can be found in the NI KnowledgeBase. Just go to the main ni.com site, search for "insane object" and follow the first hit.
That KnowledgeBase entry was created with a lot of input from some of the LabVIEW developers, so it's a pretty good guide.

  • Problem in creating the ADODB.Connection object Error Number returned:-2147024770

    Hi,
We are migrating our applications from Windows 2003 to 2008 application server. We have vbs script in a job which is invoked from Tivoli Workload Scheduler (Windows)/JOBLNCH 8.5.1. We are getting the error while creating ADOBD object (Error Number returned:-2147024770).
The error does not occur when we directly run the job on the 2008 server, but only when invoked throught the TWS scheduler. Also, this error is not occurring on 2003 server when run through the TWS.
Here is the code snippet used to create object.
    set oSrcConnect = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Could you please help us identify if any settings need to be changed to avoid this error. Many Thanks for looking into the question.

    Hi,
    Error -2147024770 = hex 8007007E
Least significant 32 bits are hex 7E = decimal 126

The specified module could not be found.
This usually indicates that the COM object you're using is trying to load a DLL that is not installed.
Based on only this error message, there's no way we can tell you how to fix your script.
