Many Delivery Notes / One Invoice

Hi all,
We are a business that sends out many truckloads of product, and need to send a separate delivery note with each truck, but we want to send the client only one invoice for this. At the moment the system produces multiple invoices. What is the easiest way to consolidate those invoices into a single invoice?
Cheers,
Nick
B1 8.8 on MS SQL 2008

Hi Nick.......
You might be doing Copy To option from Delivery to Invoice. In such case for one delivery only one invoice will will be created. So for multiple deliveries multiple invoices will be created.
But If you use Copy From Option then you can create One Invoice against  multiple Deliveries.
Juts Open AR Invoice Directly select Customer and then press the Copy From  Button and then it will give the list of delivery doc and just press Ctrl and select the deliveries one by one against which you want only one invoice......
This will solve your problem.......

  • Copy Exchenge rate from many Delivery to one AR invoice

    Hi all!
    I face with the problem. My customer need copy exchange rate from many Delivery that in one delivery we have different exchange rate for different date. After done all delivery, we will copy them to AR invoice, and customer need keep exchange rate the same with delivery.
    How can i do that because SAP B1 prevent this??? i don't know reason why?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    If the AR invoice date is the same with Delivery date, the Exchenge rate will be the same. However, if you want to Copy Exchenge rate from many Delivery to one AR invoice, you may only have one rate for the invoice date.
    Thanks,

  • Multiple delivery into One invoice

    Dear All
    Issue regarding multiple delivery into one invoice
    1 When i am creating multiple delivery doc into one invoice, its possible for domestic[local sales] but when i am creating multiple delivery doc into one invoice for export it is not possible.
    I have checked with the threads and tried it out with copy control with VBRK/VBRP [001/003/004]
    Is there any specific customization for exports?

    Dear Lakshmipati
    As per your instruction i have done the split analysis:
    split analysis:
    Split due to different header data
    Field Name                           :$00000001           $00000002
    Number of foreign trade data      : 0000000266         0000000267
    The invoice is generating against one delv document, it could not be combined. In copy control any changes i have to make

  • Change Picking data, then call Delivery Note and Invoice in the background

    I have designed a GUI where the picking data (from table LIPS) is changed.  Now my SD consultant wants the program, when a SAVE or CONTINUE button is clicked, to do the Delivery Note and Invoice in the background.
    To quote:
    Your progrm must change the values in the delivery in txn VL02n, when the delivery is saved it updates LIKP and LIPS amongst othr tables. When the invoice / billing doc is created it is done with ref to the delivery. Billing doc created using txn VF01, the main tables of the billing doc are VBRK (header) and VBRP (item).  And for completion sake, tables VBAK and VBAP are the sales order tables!
    In my PAI module, how do I do the calling of these two functions?
    The consultant suggested I use a BDC. Why can't I use Call Transaction.... ?   What is the best way to do this?
    At the moment, my SAVE button updates an internal table of LIPS, and for test purposes it exits to List Processing to test if the amounts changed correctly.
    Hope someone can help.

    Hi
    Ok.
    Do you mean "Accual GI Date" in Item overview ?
    I have performed a test. When I check "Goods Issue delivery" indeed it has posting date in the past.
    Now for the invoice:
    I set
    "Billing date"
    "Serv. rendered" date
    and "Prining date" in the past.
    Would it be enough to post everything in the last month ?
    regards

  • Create multiple delivery with one invoice

    Hi all,
    can you tell me how to do multiple delivery with one invoice,
    i tried in vf01 by giving their my 3 delivery nos but it is generating three invoices
    pls explain this in details
    points will be rewarded
    regards,
    smmmmmm

    Dear Sameer
    As per your requirement run the Tcode VF04 (Billing Due list) and select the Delivery Documents for which you want to to have single Billing Document by clicking on Collective Billing document/Online  Push Button in that screen.
    To Have Single Billing Document for Multiple Delivery you need to have Payer,Terms of Payment,Incoterms(part 1 and part2) same for all materials orelse the billing document will split and this split analysis is visible during creating of Billing document.
    Hope this will help you in solving your problem.

  • How many delivery note defined in standard R3 system ?

    Dear Guru,
    I am checking the delivery note in one R3 system....
    Scene :
    i found the delivery note number filled in the "MB03" screen which is "17515882", but i can not find it via Tcode 'VL03N' & 'VL33N' ....
    Is it has another delivery note defined in R3 system except for the inbound delivery and outbound delivery ?
    If yes how to check it ?
    Many thanks
    Best Regards
    Carlos

    The delivery not number is in general a field to capture an external number, the number from the vendors delivery note.
    In STO process you can use the outbound delivery note number as reference to post your GR.
    In both cases the number is stored in the same field.

  • Delivery note in invoice verification

    My friend iam new to MM
    What is the use of delivery note in goods reciept
    i can  do the goods reciept with out delivery note too
    where the real difference comes please explain me
    in invoice verification with out the delivery note i can directly use
    in which scenario i can use delivery note
    please explain me

    Hi,
    In MM Purchasing Scenario the vendor supplies a material along with a delivery note.
    This no: you can refer while you do a GR in MIGO & you will also enter the Qtys in the Qty as in Del note in the MIGO item details part.
    Now you can refer the delivery note no: which you captured using MIGO while you do a invoice verification using the transaction MIRO.
    Now the delivery note no: is normally very useful incase of a PO having multiple GR's.
    Hope it helps.

  • Multiple delivery to one invoice - combination criteria

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create an invoice based on 2 delivery documents. However it is still being split into 2 invoices. After running the split analysis, these are the results:
    Combination criteria in the bi:    00310109020000043    00310109020000044
    The values in the combination criteria (9020000043 and 9020000044) are the delivery numbers. This does not make sense to me since the whole purpose of this process is to combine 2 different deliveries. Am I missing something here?
    Thanks,

    Hi.....
    Those deliveries you want to create a single billing document should have the same criteria like,
    1. Payer
    2. Payment Terms
    3. Incoterms
    4. Destination country
    5. Billing date
    6. Actual Goods issue date
    7. Foreign trade data
    8. Billing doc type
    9. Shipping conditions
    10 Account assignmment group of customer/material
    11. Exchange rate
    12. Billing relevance field in the item category
    will be combined into one Billing document automatically and this is controlled by the copy control .
    Goto T.Code VTFL choose your delivery type and your billing type,goto header and in that at item level for the field VBRK/VBRP maintain the values as 001/007.
    In VF01 you have to input those deliveries and execute then those will be combined into a single billing document.Or you can do that in VF04 also.
    Check this thread:-
    single invoice from multiple deliveries.

  • How to from more than one delivery note - conversion into one invoice

    Dear Experts,
    How to from more than one delivery note - conversion into one invoice?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Wilson Hong

    Dear Wilson Hong,
    Single invoice for multiple deliveries will takes place based on these criterion
    1.If you want single billing document for multiple deliveries these data should be same in all order for all items.
    -> Payer
    -> Inco term
    -> Payment term
    -> Actual GI Date from Delivery
    -> Shipping Condition
    -> Account Assignment Group
    -> Exchange rate (in case of export sale order)
    -> Foreign trade data.
    2.In addition to this you need to maintain proper copy control settings between delivery and invoice.
    Go to VTFL transaction input your delivery type and invoice type then go in to the item level settings here you find field Data VBRK/VBRP maintain this field with routine 3-Single invoice.
    If the above data and settings are exists you can do single invoice for multiple deliveries.
    I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Link between Invoice and Delivery note

    Hi,
    Here I am having a requirement to get all the GR made against an Invoice.
    Let me explain it.
    I am having one Purchase order. Now I made the GR with a delivery note number. Now in MIRO I pass the bill or create the Invoice against the delivery note. Now I want to know the delivery note number against that invoice number.
    I cant go by the Purchase order no and item number also. Because I have to show the delivery note number against that Invoice number only. Because so many Invoices and GR can be created for the same PO item.
    FYR please go through the my thread in ABAP general
    [Link between the Invoice and material document;
    Regards
    Shiba Prasad Dutta

    Hi Experts,
    I also need help on this issue. I have a PO with several GRN per item. Also, I already have some invoices registered ate MIGO.
    On EKBE table, per PO, per item, i can check how many GRN I have (VGABE=1) and how many Invoices do I have (VGABE=2) regarding that item of the PO.
    What I need to konw is how can I link the Invoice to the PO.
    Example: EKBE table
    PO ITEM VGABE Material DOC Number
    A    10        1                   100
    A    10        1                   200
    A    10        2                   300
    I can I know, in  terms of tables and fields linkage, to what GRN does Invoice 300 links to?
    Many thanks.

  • STO - IDOC INVOIC - MM Receipt on Delivery note rather PO number

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm processing an MM Receipt INVOIC IDOC to create an Intercompany Vendor Invoice against a Purchase order.
    This is integrated in a standard Stock Transfer Order. This IDOC is generated using Output type RD04 from Intercompany billing.
    When SAP creates IDOC, it is based on the Delivery note number rather than the PO number, even I have the PO and Delivery in my PO historic, and even if I have IDOC segment E1EDP02 QUALF 001 with PO and segment E1EDP02 with QUALF 016 with Delivery note.
    I tried to managed PO item flags: "Invoice Receipt Indicator" or "Indicator: GR-Based Invoice Verification".
    But there is no impact.
    When I create the MM Receipt manually using TCode MIRO in reference to the PO. It works.
    When I create the MM Receipt manually using TCode MIRO in reference to the Delivery not. It doesn't work. I got the same error message "Delivery note/service entry sheet xxxx does not exist".
    I conclude that when SAP performs the IDOC, someting in the IDOC tells him to create a invoice in reference to the Delivery note rather than the PO. How can we change it?
    Please, could you help me to understand this blocking point and to allow to create the MM Receipt on PO?
    Many thanks.
    Stéphane.

    hello, friend.
    i am not an expert in MM, but....
    i noticed that when using MIGO, you can do GR based on an inbound delivery, and maybe also an outbound delivery (from STO).  an outbound delivery created in an STO scenario should have links to the STO related PO.  could this be the link you are looking for?
    regards.

  • Delivery note cancellation in case of proforma invoice

    Hi SAP Gurus
    I am in a typical automotive industry project where stock transfer takes place from factory to Sales Depo. In thsi case we generate STO orders - delivery note-- PGI-  Proforma invoice--- Excise invoice .
    Now as no accounting documents are generated in the proforma invoice cancellation of proforma invoice is not possible.So it happens that user reverse the PGI and cancels the delivery note.
    In many cases he/she remebers to reverse/cancel  the corresponding excise invoice generated but there are frequent cases as well where delivery note is reversed and cancelled without reversing/cancelling the corresponding Excise Invoice.
    So i require
    1. Either the corresponding excise invoice gets cancelled at the time of cancellation/reversal of  delivery   note.
    2. If i could create an error message and validation check that restricts and informs user that a corresponding Excise invoice exists or excise invoice still open .
    Please help me out.
    Regards
    Jaydeep

    You can very well control this issue via BADI  LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC  where you can see various "Methods" in which you can also see "DELIVERY_DELETION".
    Tell this requirement to your ABAPer who can very well complete the task by using the above method.
    thanks

  • Creating Invoice from a Delivery Note using SDK

    Hi,
    I am working on SAP 2005 A Patch 4 with SQL 2000 SP 4. I am using VB.NET (VS2005). I am trying to create a Invoice from a Delivery note which is created based on a Sales order.
    I am getting the following error
    Error occured while saving Invoice: 0 - '15' is not a valid value for field 'BaseType'. The valid values are: '-1' - '',  '0' - '',  '23' - 'Sales Quotation',  '17' - 'Sales Order',  '16' - 'A/R Returns'
    The Code that i used to create the invoice is as follows
    Dim oInvoice As SAPbobsCOM.Documents
            oInvoice = pcompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices)
            oDelivery = pcompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oDeliveryNotes)
            Try
                If oDelivery.GetByKey(iDlvNo) = True Then
                    sTaxCodes = sTaxCode
                    oInvoice = pcompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders)
                    oInvoice.CardCode = oDelivery.CardCode
                    oInvoice.SalesPersonCode = oDelivery.SalesPersonCode
                    oInvoice.DocType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDocumentTypes.dDocument_Items
                    oInvoice.DocumentSubType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDocumentSubType.bod_None
                    oInvoice.Address = oDelivery.Address
                    oInvoice.ShipToCode = oDelivery.ShipToCode
                    oInvoice.Address2 = oDelivery.Address2
                    oInvoice.JournalMemo = "Invoice - " & oDelivery.CardCode
                    oInvoice.Comments = "Based on Delivery  " & oDelivery.DocNum
                    oInvoice.PaymentGroupCode = oDelivery.PaymentGroupCode
                    oInvoice.DocDueDate = Now.Month & "/" & Now.Day & "/" & Now.Year
                    For iRowNo = 0 To oDelivery.Lines.Count - 1
                        If iRowNo > 0 Then
                            oInvoice.Lines.Add()
                        End If
                        oDelivery.Lines.SetCurrentLine(iRowNo)
                        oInvoice.Lines.ItemCode = oDelivery.Lines.ItemCode
                        oInvoice.Lines.Quantity = oDelivery.Lines.Quantity
                        oInvoice.Lines.Rate = oDelivery.Lines.Rate
                        oInvoice.Lines.BaseType = SAPbobsCOM.BoAPARDocumentTypes.bodt_DeliveryNote
                        oInvoice.Lines.BaseEntry = iDlvNo 'DocEntry of Delivery Note
                        oInvoice.Lines.BaseLine = iRowNo
                        oInvoice.Lines.TaxCode = sTaxCodes
                    Next
                    iReturnValue = oInvoice.Add()
                    If iReturnValue <> 0 Then
                        pcompany.GetLastError(iReturnValue, sErrorDescription)
                        Throw New Exception("Error occured while saving Invoice: " + _
                                           iErrorNo.ToString() + " - " + sErrorDescription)
                    Else
                        MessageBox.Show("Invoice created succesfully")
                    End If
                End If
    Since in the error message it has specified that i have given the BaseType as Delivery which has a value of 15 i changed that from bodt_DeliveryNote to bodt_Order which has a value as 17.
    When i tried creating the invoice again it gave the error
    Error occured while saving Invoice: 0 - Target item number does not match base item number.  [RDR1.TargetType][line: 2]
    I am not able to proceed further ... can any one help me
    thanks in advance

    Greetings,
    I am having a similar problem, only I'm doing it as suggested in Louis' reply.  In fact I copied that code and tried it.  It's giving me a 2028 error with no description.
    I had been doing it slightly differently and the error I was getting was 5002 "Item no. is missing [INV1.ItemCode][line 2]"  I don't have 2 lines and I'm certain I have an item code.  The numbers I'm putting in for baseentry & baseline are absolutely in the table and the order is open.
    Here is that code:
            oDNUpd = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices)
            oDNUpd.CardCode = CardCode.Text
            oDNUpd.Lines.BaseEntry = CInt(SalesOrder.Text)
            oDNUpd.Lines.BaseLine = CInt(baseline.Text)
            oDNUpd.Lines.BaseType = SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders
            oDNUpd.Lines.Add()
            lretcode = oDNUpd.Add
    I'm using SBO 2005 patch 7 (and the new dll).  I have similar code doing a stock transfer and it's working fine.
    Thanks for any suggestions you can offer

  • Entering Invoice in MIR7 on basis of Delivery Note no.

    Hi Gurus,
    While entering invoice in MIR7, after entering Document Date and Posting Date, we need to give delivery note no as reference to pick line items but if there are more than one item with same delivery note no from different vendors, system shows us all the options.
    We need to select the relevant line but after selecting the line, system is changing the document date and baseline date on the basis of GR selected.
    Can you please help me in solving this issue? System should not change the date automatically.
    Please revert.
    Thank You

    Raj,
    The issue here is the while creating the order the system needs to validat two things 'sold-to-party and order reason'.
    I am still not sure whther this can be achieved through non ABAP way. check for some exits, if available.
