Many images and buttons on websites are not visible and appear as white space.

i am unable to see buttons such as the "buy now" button, but when i scroll over the white space, the cursor changes to alert me that i've found the button. also, websites i frequent are now missing images and logos on this computer. i am windows XP pro, firefox browser. thanks for any assistance.

I have just rented two movies and after download they are not visible anywhere in iTunes for me to watch.

I have just rented two movies and after download they are not visible anywhere for me to view. Usually in the iTunes menu there is an option call 'rentals' where rented movies sit until they expire, this is no longer visible. The movie files are listed in the finder under music/movies.... With the rest of my iTunes data, but they will not play in iTunes from there and I can't add them to my library for watching.
The only thing I am currently doing differently is that I have just subscribed to iTunes Match; would this affect my rentals?

Under your Library list, you should see "Movies". Click on that, and you will see a screen with several tabs at the top - Rentals, Unwatched, Movies, Genres, Home Videos, etc.
As Hackintosh indicated above, click on the Rentals tab, and your movies will be displayed there. Doulbe click on one to start playing it.
If you do not have your sidebar showing, go up to View at the top, and click on Show Sidebar. Then you will see your Library lists on the sidebar, which will include Movies.

Image Library select/deselect ticks are not visible

We are using Sharepoint 2013 (version
15.0.4569.1000). We have select/deselect ticks at list views but in image library list view, they are not visible. When List view page loaded there is a script error as below:
"Uncaught ReferenceError: InitImglibView is not defined".
I can't find the reason of this error. Can you help please?

What format are the attachments? If Pages will not display them properly you will need an application that does. Pages usually opens word documents but can give problems at times, if they are MS Word documents, try Libre Office or failing that you may have to purchase MS Word for Mac, maybe you will need to buy the complete Office suite.
The other possiblity is that you already have a suitable application and Pages is loading the file by default, if so change the default application to open that file type.

Did you create a new profile for that 4.0 beta version?
Do you still have the regular Firefox 3.6.8 version installed?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Navigation buttons are not visible and lost it´s functional

I have an intercative document that i have exported from Indesign. On every page their should be an navigation buttons with functions like
next , previous , last page etc. Everything works on a PC but on the Mac the buttons are only visible on the first two pages and on the 80 other
pages they are not visible, but I get the hand with the index finger when i put the pen/mouse on the location where they should be but they have also
lost their function? Can anyone help me here?

Upon startup Firefox says "Proxy is refusing connections." When I select "Auto-Detect Proxy" from Advanced settings and solve problem, changes are not saved and upon next startup I must select again...!

Firefox 4 was working fine. Then one day, when I started up Firefox, it says "Proxy is refusing connections." I solved this by selecting "Auto-Detect Proxy" from Advanced network settings, but my changes are not saved and upon every start-up I must select it again! (I even completely removed my webroot antivirus protection, as it as hindering many proxy related programs, but this seems to not be the source of the problem)

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

Both safari and firefox are telling me that websites are not "verified" and that they cannot identify the sites

When I turned on my computer today, the date and time were completely wrong. I then went to sign into familiar websites I use (gmail, facebook, etc) and both safari and firefox had pop ups that said that they could not "identify" and "verify" the sites. Once I verified, the sites would go through but wouldn't be completely loaded and won't work.

The date & time MUST be set correctly (within a few minutes and the correct Time Zone), or httpS: sites cannot work.

Images in some Column-Heads are not visible

in an Webdynpro-Application I am using tables that are sorted in that way that is discribed in the Tables-Tutorial (with TableSort-Class). Everything works fine except that initially there is no image in the column-head although I set one in the layout-designer. After sorting the apropriate images appear.
I tried to set the image-source again, I tried to set the image in the source like:
IWDTable table = (IWDTable)view. ...
table.getColumns()[...].getHeader().setImageSource("...");
... doesn't work.
Are there solutions? Thanks!

Your code is right. but i think you have placed the setImageSource code before the call of Table Sorter class.
if you put that code after the object creation of TableSorter class, it will work.

Many "click here" buttons are not visible

Many sites that have the "click here" button or symbol are not visible. I discovered this when moving my mouse to a location the "mouse hand" appeared indicating this was a button to click for a specific purpose. I downloaded the most recent version of Firefox a few days ago, but the problem of hidden buttons remains. This issue of not being able to see click-able buttons started about 6 weeks ago. Have changed themes, views, color schemes, etc. to no avail.
Any known solutions ?

Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

Facebook profile and home are not visible

Today in the afternoon, Facebook started to act strangely. I can log on without a problem, but when i'm in the website the home and the profile pages are not visible, they are blank and this is strange because with Chrome i have no problems, and because in the safe mode the problem is still here, so the plugins aren't the source of the problem.
The account and other option pages are fine, only those two don't work.
Few weeks ago, i had to change a value in the about:config page, to make work "youtube buttons", but i think it's not that the problem, also because this morning Facebook worked. I don't know what to think. Is this maybe Facebook IT fault? Boh.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
