loaded AppTV - good. Turned on home share - I think good. Got new iPhone - good. Purchased iMatch - I don't think so good. Synch iphone to cloud and not computer - NOT good. All this happened on the same day. My iTunes are a MESS. Half my playlists are empty. When I find a playlist that will play, it refuses to play some songs ... will stop playing after a couple of songs and songs don't match the covers that are showing. I am beyone

Hi, I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle configuring all 80 of the iPads my business is purchasing. I know there is a limit of 10 devices per iTunes account. How many iTunes accounts are permitted per computer? I tried to just create 8 apple ids, which I was able to do online. But when I try to sign in to those on iTunes, once I get to the part where I verify with a credit card, I can not get past the 3rd one. I have previously signed in with 2 other accounts on my machine, so I'm wondering if there is a limit of 5 accounts per computer. Can anyone verify? If that's true, what suggestions do you have for how to get around or best manage this situation?

The limit you are referring to is for a single personal Apple ID (not for multiple users) that is allowed to be associated with a total of 10 devices (up to 5 computers and the rest on iOS devices). Example you can have 5 computers and 5 iOS devices, 3 computers and 7 iOS devices, but not 6 computers and 4 iOS devices.

Again this is for a single user. For multiple users like in schools or businesses you need to use VPP to purchase multiple licenses. http://www.apple.com/business/vpp/
APP STORE PRODUCT USAGE RULES

There is a free OS X program called Apple Configurator that you can use to distribute the VPP codes to your fleet of iPads. Apple Configurator uses a single Apple ID to install apps on your iPads. Configurator will also allow you to install free apps on multiple iPads using a single Apple ID.

Download/install an app is a know possible solution.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If all user-installed apps are not launching, it could be an Apple ID authorization issue. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information.
Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.

Ipod Nano skipping songs... IPod or ITunes issue?

I purchased an IPod Nano and signed up for ITunes. I purchased a CD from ITunes and synced it with my IPod. That worked fine except for one huge issue - the IPod skips right over 5 out of the 12 songs on the CD! The songs play fine through my computer (Windows XP Pro SP2), just not on the IPod.
Is this an IPod issue or an ITunes issue? Has anyone dealt with this before?

New software update still not downloading. Apps updates have all downloaded since iTunes issue resolved. Is the software issue also related to this, or is there another problem? This is on my iPhone 6, not my Mac.

Trying to download the iOS 8.2 software update on my iPhone 6, but it won't update. All app updates have resolved since the iTunes issue was resolved. Is the software update issue related to this as well, or is it another problem entirely?
I've synced it to iTunes, turned it off/on, etc., but still not downloading.

So is the iOS 8.2 update not downloading to your iPhone, computer or both?
You have synced it to iTunes, that is an option to update if it's not updating wirelessly. Please see if other steps help.

IPhoto and iTunes issues.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I am having some problems with my iPhoto at the moment. I have over 15,000 images in the library, and they all appear in thumbnail format under their respective dates, however when I double click on any image between roughly image 6942 and 12428 to enlarge it and look at it on full screen, a blank window is all I see, there isn't even a thumbnail of it where it should appear in full size.
Can anyone suggest what I could do to rectify this problem?
I have archive and installed the original OS X discs, as suggested by an apple store rep and it hasnt fixed the problem.
Also now iTunes gives me an error msg when I try to run it saying that it will not run with this version of OS after the reinstall. Previously, iTunes would not connect to the apple store either, and would not find the CCDB info when importing a new CD, and he also told me that an arch and inst would fix this.
Maybe a couple of probs here, but the iPhoto is the most pressing I guess.
I would appreciate any suggestions or knowledge!

Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). A Finder Window should open with the file selected. Does it?

For many invoices who are saved in nast. We initialize no_dialog to space.
After in the loop at the invoices : for the first one no_close to 'X' and the last one with no_close parameter to space.
After the call FM(Smartform) we pass 'X' to no_open .

I read through the manual and it didn't mention anything about multiple libraries.
All I found was about streaming more than one computer.
Isn't this supposed to be a product that's multi-user orientated?

AC is correct, but remember the 5 streams does include the synced library (in case you don't want to move all your content over to your AppleTV box)

if your computer is not recognizing it, try using a different USB port or different usb cable. if that doesnt work you will need to uninstall and reinstall itunes.

It's pointless to use that ammount of ram under Win9x/Me as it will be slower then if you use only 256MB witch is the optimal ammount for these OS'ses.
So you better take 256 out or move to Win2000/XP....

I have two/2 issues with the (new/lat)est iTunes versions in Mac OS X (e.g., 10.5.8, 10.8.5, and 10.10.1).
1. How do I make iTunes stop asking me to log into my Apple account after I start up iTunes? I do not always want to be logged in. I will log in when I need to. I don't like keeping my accounts logged in all the time for security reasons anyways.
2. 70+ apps makes iTunes freeze to show a pinwheel for a few minutes before starting to download them. Is this normal?

ISSUE FINALLY RESOLVED!!!!!!
So, it turns out, I had to restore the iPhone...with a twist! Here are the steps:
FIRST BACK UP YOUR DEVICE
1. Go to the library (Hold option, click on "go" in the finder, then go to library)
2. Go to your iTunes folder in this Library (not application support, the main iTunes folder)
3. Go to the iX software folder (i.e., iPhone software, iPad software, etc.) and delete the file in this folder
4. Hook up the phone and then click on restore iPhone.
At this point, it will redownload the entire OS again. You must then restore the iPhone. As it is downloading the iOS, you can disconnect and use your phone for probably however long you want (I did the restore the same day as the download) and when you are ready you can hook up the phone and restore it.
THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP FOLLOWS:
And one many may dislike. Upon restoring the phone, you MUST select "Set-Up as new iPhone"
You need to make sure you've backed up EVERYTHING elsewhere. 3rd party, non-apple/icloud apps will lose data through this method, and you'll lose all texts, your call history, and super old voicemails. The upside is that, if you've backed up, then you can just restart the process if you forgot something. But seeing as how the popup was interfering with my ability to use iCloud (I couldn't sync anything, such as calendar events, reminders, etc., unless I had gone into mail to sign in to iCloud), it was totally worth it....no more popups.
My only wish is that this thread becomes popular. Many people have this issue and you should only use this method as a super last resort (after trying literally everything I had written previously).

Itunes issue! using itunes 10.7 (21) on a macbook pro OSX 10.7.5 - everytime I launch itunes it asks to connect to the itunes store and asks for login details. have to cancel twice. how do I disable this or login once and make it remember my details?

Even when I'm not connected to the internet it pops up with an error that its trying to connect to the store. Its very annoying. I have disabled the store in preferences> parental > checked the box saying Disable: itunes store. No success! Please someone help. :(
