Many Red entries in SM35 ...!!

Hello ,
when i execute TA sm35 i found many red entries with status - error.
What can be done to resolve them and what can be the reason.
And when i click on process Tab it is blank and *In process* Tab it has many entries with last years date and in Locked tab too.
what is meaning of all these entries in sm35.
And how can i resolve them , so that there can no entries with error.
Thanks,
Neel

Hi,
sm35 is for batch input session data, if some one tried to enter 1000 of data to the table, they deliver via LSMW like tools as batch input.
if tat fails, you must reprocess them.

    Hello Sadiq,
I agree with the previous post, I'm afraid there is no quick fix for this, especially since we cannot see all of these red entries.
If your errors are purely in memory management on SAP side, you should consider posting in the CST "memory management" part of this forum
Advise from a DB2 perspective is to make sure that all memory specific setting are correct as per note:
    899322    DB6: DB2 9.1 Standard Parameter Settings
After setting these parmeters and carrying out further fine tuning yourself, you should consider scheduling an early watch session from SAP.
    Best of luck,
    Paul

    Hi Every one,
    Thanks for all your inputs.
As Suggested we have restarted the production server however identified many swap entries red as fllows( Field  Description- 30,970, intial Records- 26,169, Program Buffer - 71,628, CUA- 30,442, Screen - 826 ) and Tables Generic Key - 389 & Export / Import - 247,144 )
I see that Buffer Hit ration of EXport / Import is 83.93 except this all other buffers are above 99 % .

  • How to insert the same location for many calendar-entries?

    Hi!
I have to insert the same information for "location" into MANY calendar-entries. How can I do that? If it's not possible directly (what I think, because I tried then a sql-example would be great

  • Too many lock entries on BUT000 in SRM7

    Hi,
When we are trying to update attributes of Org units through FM BBP_UPDATE_ATTRIBUTES, there are so many lock entries created for different values on table BUT000.
We are calling the said FM in loop becasue this FM has the capability of updating just one ORG unit at a time. So while the loop runs, there are a lot of lock entries created on BUT000 which are just not getting unlocked automatically.
There is a huge performance hit due to this. We are not sure how and why BUT000 entries are getting locked while updating org unit attributes.
Please suggest what should be a remedy to this.
    Thanks,
    Tirth

i dont know BUT000 table and have no idea what it does, but i suspect that it works like with every other thing in SAP system.
In DEV you mostly have not much data. E.G. in your case lets say 200 BUT000 entries.
200 lock entries aint a problem for the system.
In Quality you SHOULD have more data, up to number of data in production. If you have nearly same amount of data in Q like in P the problem should have existed in quality as well.
Another thing is that in productive MORE people work.
See there is a table where your lock entries get stored, if that table exceeds some certain amount of entries your system is going to slow down up to dumping or timeouting.
So in production system there are probably other people as well creating lockj entries with various transactions, while when you tested it in quality you were probably not much users on the system.

  • Drag multiple photos to create many blog entries at once?

I wanted to make many blog entries at once from some photos. This is trying to catch up with many entries at once, and make basically photo pages with one photo and more than just a caption (like you get with a photo page).
I did this by the usual method when I first tried iweb (try something, it works...). Then I noticed that it just assigned today's date to all the entries. I didn't want that, so I deleted all of them. Then I found out you could edit the dates...
Now, I want to recreate all those entries again, and I can't for the life of me repeat that initial 'try it, it works' of just making many blog entries all at the same time. I can't remember if it was a drag in, or what...
    help!
Doesn't help that iweb goes to SBOD when I first open the media browser for 10 min...

    Peter...
I have not tried this myself, so I'm not sure if this is what you did....but try this...
In iPhoto, select all the photos (Apple-click to select multiple photos) that you want to send to your blog pages. Then do you see the iWeb icon at the bottom of the iPhoto window there??? Click on it and select "publish to photoblog". See if this is what you were looking for...

  • What kind of red entries we see in general in SCM Queue Manager?

    Hi Experts,
When does SCM Queue Manager comes into picture? What kind of red entries we see in general in SCM Queue Manager? Explain with atleast 2 examples.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Suvecha

    Hi,
You are taking a planning run in APO. System has created orders. These orders need to flow to R3.
This you need to carryout in /SAPAPO/CCR. If these orders are not moving to R3 , system will throw error message.
This error message you can find in /SAPAPO/CQ or SMQ1 or SMQ2 depending upon queue type.
This error you need to rectify. Then only orders will flow to R3.
This is applicable both from R3 to APO and APO to R3.
You can further info in details in CIF help library.
    Thanks,
    nandha

You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Malware is always changing to get around the defenses against it. In addition to the files listed in the support article, you may also have to remove the following in the same way:
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.Installer.completer.download.plist
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.Installer.completer.ltvbit.plist
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.Installer.completer.update.plist
    ~/Library/Application Support/IM.Installer/Completer.app
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
If you find Apple's instructions too hard to follow, ask for an alternative that doesn't require you to trust a black-box application without knowing what it does.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.

  • Have Many Calendar Entries in the stand By Mode

    Hi there,
Very glad to have purchase the N70. However despite the fact that I have many entries into the calendar itself.
When I am on the stand by mode, I do see only the next appoitment that I have.
Will it be possible to see more appointments into the Stand By Mode??????
It will permit to see at least a full day/full week of activity?
Do you know how to do it??
    THANKS A LOT.

I think there's a 3rd party application that does something similar to what you want.
As far as I'm aware, it does it all automatically, and there's no way to change it - it will only show you todays notes, and if you've nothing on today, it will show you the next set of dates. I've found it a bit annoying too, but I'm not too bothered.Message Edited by richcowell on 28-Apr-2006

  • What Do  'Red' Entries Mean?

If you go into 'Phone' then into 'Recents' some of the entries on my iPhone3G are shown in a Red colour as opposed to the Black of the rest.
For example one or two are listed as being from my brother Stephen, and some are shown or listed as 'Blocked' Now both of these are listed in Red and In Black entries, but I cannot see any correlation between dates or times.
I have searched as far as I can tell through the user guide, but cannot find any information.
Do you know what they mean?

Missed calls. At the top of Recents, there are are buttons for All and Missed. Tapping Missed will show only the red callers, and you can Clear that list with the button at the top right.
Note that it you tap a missed call, it returns the call, and the listing changes from red to black.
    Hope this helps...

  • How to migrate MANY Entourage entries to iCalc?

I used Entourage for a while when I migrated from Windows to Mac (thank God!). Hence I have many older calender entries, still in Entourage. Could I "migrate" these en bloc/altogether to my iCal Home calendar? I know how to change individual entries, but not how to do the same with many.
[I also use MissingSync to sync with my Palm Treo 680; hence any "reduction" in possible points of interference is highly beneficial.]
Any advice and or pointers would be highly appreciated.
    Cheers,
Veit (greetings from the Austrian Alps!)

have you tried to import from ical? go to ical, file>import and choose the entourage data option.
    hope this helps

  • How many route entries does 3945E or/and 3900 ISR G2 support

    hello guys:
I have a question concerning about how many ospf and bgp route entries does 3945E isr g2 router support?
    cheers
    tony xi

    Tony,
This question can't be answered in general. It depends foremost on the amount of available memory in the router. With 256MB of RAM, you can expect that the router can manage roughly tens of thousands of routes. The full BGP routing table (not the BGP database) consumes around 70MB, however, the full BGP RIB on one of the route-views project routers consumes over 1100 MB of RAM (this also depends on the number of BGP peers and the amount of data sent to it by individual BGP neighbors). The exact number is impossible to determine, as it depends on the amount of other control information that the router has to store in its RAM - for example, OSPF LSDB, BGP RIB, the CEF and adjacency tables, etc. etc. etc.
So you can assume that 256MB of RAM should be working for deployments up to the order of tens of thousands but this has to be taken with a very, very rough and unreliable estimate.

  • Too many stagnating entries in SMQ2

we are having thousands of entries in SMQ2. We have analysed and decided to delete all the entries on the inbound queue. Manual deletion of each queue entry is taking much time and ending with Time out error. Is there any way to delete all the entries of the inbound queue in some another way?
    Thanks,
    Arun

    Hi Chan,
Thanks for the Note. It was useful in understanding about that particular table entry.
The entry i communicated earlier was created by another user.We are using scenario "A" only.
However we are using R/3 version of 4.7 and CRM version of 6.0.
In the table CRMPAROLTP , i am able to find entries of "CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE" for other adapter objects such as CUSTOMER_MAIN, CUSTOMER_REL,MATERIAL etc.
But i dont have any entries of "CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE" for "SALESDOCUMENT".
However we have an entry of CRM_NO_BEFORE_IMAGES for "SALESDOCUMENT".
Shall i maintain the following entry manually in R3 system which you asked me to check?
    Parameter Name: CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE
    Parameter Name 2: SALESDOCUMENT
    Parameter Name 3: SALESDOCUMENT
    User : CRM
    Parameter Value : X
What is the significance of this entry? Also, when this entry for CRM_FILTERING_ACTIVE will be created in CRMPAROLTP table?
    Thanks a lot!!

  • How many Solutions entries in Solution Directory?

What is the best practice for setting up Solutions in the Solution Directory?
Should we have one for all business processes?
Should we have maybe something like the following?
    1. Campaign to Cash Business Processes
    2. Employee Business Processes
    3. Solution Manager -- ITIL Business Processes
Are there any disadvantage to having multiple solution entries?
I searched service.sap.com and this forum for an answer before posting this question.
    Regards,
    Mel Calucin
    Bentley Systems

    Hi Mel,
I will try to answer your questions:
    1. New and to-be-modified business processes are developed and tested using Solution Manager Projects and are never developed or tested using Solution Manager Solutions; CORRECT!
therefore, Solution Manager Solutions only contain production business processes.
CORRECT! you can transfer the business processes in a project to a Solution to used for example "Business Process Monitoring scenario"
    2. When a Solution Manager Project is completed, business processes in that Project are copied to one or more Solution Manager Solutions; consequently, the business processses become production business processes.
    Correct!
    3. The structure of a Solution Manager Solution is the same as a Solution Manager Project; however, some tabs in a Solution Manager Solution are not modifiable and can only be populated when a business process in a Solution Manager Project is copied to the Solution Manager Solution.
You can transfer the data from a project to a Solution, and in this case you will get the same business scenario structure that you had in SOLAR01, but you can change this structure in order to delete scenarios, or add new once.
Also you can create a clean solution and add this Business Scenarios manually comming from different projects if you like.
    4.
    5. The business processes defined under a Solution or Project must be linked to a Logical Component
    Correct!
The business scenarios that you define in your solutions are only use for "Business Process Monitoring" scenario.
Usually other customer creates Solutions and add the logical components that ate included in the solution.
    6,7, 8 Logical component definition
A logical component define the different systems, with different roles involved in a
usual DEVclient->QUA_client->PRD_client landscape for a specific version and installation type.
For example, a usual logical component would be:
    Z_ECC60: DEV 100 QUA 200 PRD 300
You can also enter other system roles in this logical component
This DEV 100,etc, has previously defined in SMSY and RFC connection created to these satellites.
    9. Correct! because the processe take place in logical components finally, in SAP or not SAP systems.
"Given the above statements are true, the goal would be to document all business processes in Solution Manager Solutions. It is unnecessary to create Solution Manager Solutions based on system roles e.g. one for Solution Manager Solution for Production, one Solution for QA, one for Dev or combinations of system roles e.g. Dev->QA->Production. By defining one Solution Manager Solution, the system roles are also defined for the business processes contained in the Solution Manager Solution."
The goal is to have the documentation of the business processes in the SOLMAN system.
The Solution are mainly created for Administration and monitoring activities, based on system "basis" site, so usually Solution are created for these purposes usually after the Go live of the project.
I mean, Solution are used for the technical part of the project.
Although for Service Desk and Change request management scenarios more than
    technical roles must be involved.
So, do you want to generate a report with the response times for all your productive systems? if yes, you will need to define a Solution that includes all
the logical components available in your landscape, but only "Put in Solution" the production systems.
Do you want to see the alerts from only want system, instead of seeing a graphic with 10 systems, you will need to create a Solution with only this system.
Usually to have a Solution with all system is not operational, unless you have few systems.
I have to insist in the idea that the Solution is not used by "Functional" team, mainly for "Technical" team.
!"My quesiton is: Is it better to have one Solution Manager Solution for all business processes or to divide the business processes into multiple Solutions. If it is better to break up the business processes into multiple Solutions, what is the best way to break them up? Does SAP offer a best practice for this?"
Usually customer even not define the Business Scenarios in their Solution for the Operational scenarios, because these Business Scenarios are not used.
Hope this clarify your questions, best regards,
    Dolores
