Map does not work on my iPad air 32?

I downloaded flightradar24 app and the maps do not show in any detail and satellite is not working at all. Despite multiple downloads it still won't work.
I now see my apple Maps app that came loaded with my new iPad Air 32 does not work. My friend with iPad 3 sitting next to me has full functionality of maps on the same wifi. Thanks.

ITunes/Music Home sharing does not work on my iPad Air

No matter what I do I cannot use Music.app on my iPad Air to play music from my iTunes Library with Home-Sharing switched on. The Library name correctly appears in the Music.app source list after the loading symbol takes an age to complete. When it appears to have connected to the Library on my Mac, contents of my Library are shown in the app but I cannot play anything. If I select an albumn and press Play the Music.app merely cycles rapidly through all the track titles of the Album and then stops. Nothing plays. I've tried dozens of times to get this to work, even rebuilding my iTunes Library. Nothing seems to cure the problem. I can connect and play via Plex which is just plain daft seeing Apple designed all the software/hardware but they, themselves, cannot correctly code for this basic functionality.
Also, not all Album cover artwork is displayed correctly.
It seems many of the things I bought the iPad for are non-functional and the tablet is virtually useless. I can't beleive Apple would produce software and hardware which is specifically made to work harmoniously but obviously doesn't.
Any help, here, please?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

hi the older button could be set to either "force portrait mode" or "silent mode". now you can do both in the iOS control center (swipe from the bottom of the screen), so the need for a button isn't needed anymore.

I went to the Audio store to see about getting a surround sound and the salesperson asked me why I wasn't using AirPlay, he said it was better than the Bluetooth, better quality. Why does the sound not work on my iPad air ?

The sound won't work on the iPad air I got 4 Xmas but I'm not sure if Apple will accept it back as I'm not sure when it was bought. The sound works on FaceTime and iMessage ring tones but not on apps/YouTube. It doesn't say head phones when I change the volume an I have shut the iPad down I've tuned the ringtone switch on and off , I've cleared all apps ,I've tried to look throughout settings but nothings working. Some times it works some times not .eg.as I left the house to pick my son up I was on an app and the sound was normal.it was normal when I looked on YouTube too when I came back but now. no sound only on iMessage and face time it did this the other day to and it hasn't been knocked .HELP ME!

Wifi does not work correctly on iPad Mini w/ Retina display

I've found that Wifi does not work properly on the iPad mini w/ Retina display.
Some background: I own three iPads (iPad mini w/ retina display, iPad mini, and iPad 3rd gen), an iPod touch 5th gen, and a Macbook Air, and use them all frequently with my pocket Wifi router.
None of them exhibit any Wifi problems whatsoever except for my iPad mini w/ retina display.
Here are the details:
In the middle of using Wifi with my pocket Wifi router, the Wifi connection will abrubptly drop, then reconnect. After the Wifi reconnects, it is no longer able to connect to the internet (even though Wifi itself is connected).
Once the iPad mini w/ retina display's Wifi gets into this state, the following may or may not restore WiFi temporarily:
Restart the device
Reset network settings
Yet, even if connectevitiy is restored, the problem will happen again within minutes.
When the iPad mini w/ retina display gets into this state, the Wifi on my iPod touch, other iPads, and on my Macbook Air work perfectly fine, so I know the problem is not with my Wifi device or it's connection, but specifically with the iPad mini w/ retina display
Note:
The iPad mini w/ retina display never has any issues with my home or work Wifi networks. The problem only happens when connected to my pocket Wifi device. Yet, all of my other iOS devices and my MacBook Air work perfectly with my pocket Wifi device, therefore I know the problem is not with the pocket Wifi device, but with the iPad mini with retina display.
Solutions:
Resetting the iPad mini w/ retina display to factory settings does not solve the problem
Resetting network settings on the iPad mini w/ retina display does not solve the problem
I have even replaced my original iPad mini w/ retina and got a new one. Yet, the new device exhibits the exact same behavior as the original device.
Conclusion:
I know this is not a hardware problem (since it happened with both my original as well as replacement device).
I know this is not a problem with my pocket WiFi router, since it works perfectly with all of my other iOS devices and MacBook Air.
Therefore, this must be a software / firmware bug with the iPad mini w/ retina display. Apple will need to fix this in a future software update.
Has anyone else seen this problem?

I too have experienced this issue over the past two days... I have a 16gb ipad mini retina, for reference. I bought the device one week ago, and had not experience any issues at all until bringing my device to work. I logged into my work's enterprise level wireless network both yesterday and today, maintained normal wifi capabilities for 2-4 hours each day, and was then randomly dropped, both days. I tried hard resets, resetting my network settings, airplane mode, etc. Nothing has worked. I am still offline on my ipad mini retina.
My iPhone 5 is sitting right next to my iPad mini retina. The iPhone is currently connected to the same very network, and has been for the past two years. I have never lost connection on my iPhone's wifi, just my iPad mini retina.
This must be some kind of bug, as it does not sound like a hardware nor network issue.
Hopefully they fix this in 7.1.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

Export Parameters in Parameterized Message Mapping does not work.

I have a question: how to use an EXPORT parameter in Parameterized Message Mapping? seems it does not work...
(I use XI / PI 7.1)
For example, I have a follow scenario: a large message comes to XI from one BS (message contains a lot of rows), then this large message splits to some small messages (something about 1000 rows in one small message), and send small messaeg one by one from XI to second BS. So, after receive step I use a transformation step with Parameterized Message Mapping to get a total amount of rows in large message (it needs for making condition for loop in IP, for example). I want to use an EXPORT parameter to pass this number from Parameterized Message Mapping to Integration Process. How can I do it?
Of course, I know the way to how to make this scenario without any parameterizing, but I want to use exactly "Parameterized Message Mapping" like it writes in this help:

Step by step:
1) I create in "Signature" tab two parameters: FILE_NAME, FILE_TYPE (of course, they both Export and xsd:string type)
2) Then, I goes to "Functions" tab and create new function "testUDF" with one argument var1.
3) In body of this UDF insert 2 strings:
getOutputParameters.setString("FILE_NAME" , "Order");
getOutputParameters.setString("FILE_TYPE" , "PDF");
4) in "Definition" tab I bind function "Local.testUDF" with one field in my input message and goes to "Test" tab for testing.
5) And then I have a message window "Problems While Testing":

NFSv4 UID mapping does not work

i tried several hours to get nfsv4 uid mapping, but it does not work.
#/data 192.168.20.0/24(rw,sync)
/data 192.168.20.0/24(rw,fsid=0,insecure,no_subtree_check,async)
/data/home 192.168.20.0/24(rw,nohide,insecure,no_subtree_check,async)
/etc/conf.d/nfs-*.conf files are not modified.
/etc/idmapd.conf does not exists anymore (was removed in the last nfs-utils package update)
rpcbind is running on both computers.
My mount command:
/bin/mount -n 192.168.20.70:/data/home /mnt/demeter -t nfs4 -v
When i access the folder from the server as the specific user, it works. But not from the client (same username, but other UID). When i list the upper level directory of the server from the client side, i see as username only the number (of course, because the UID does not exists on the client). I can only access folders, where the client's useID have permissions on the server (for example, when i try to access the server from the client as a user, wich userID on the server has permission to it).
What i'm doing wrong?
When searching the internet for nfs-problems / howto's, it seems, the arch configuration is a little bit different than on, for example, suse linux / debian linux. For example, it seems the option NEED_IDMAPD/NEED_GSSD seems to be obselet?

I too would recommend coordinating UID and GID. That's what I do. However, you could try the following (not sure how it will work now that /etc/idmapd.conf is gone) ...
Configure NFS4 module:
$ cat /sys/module/nfs/parameters/nfs4_disable_idmapping
If it is "Y", then:
# echo N > /sys/module/nfs/parameters/nfs4_disable_idmapping
# echo "options nfs nfs4_disable_idmapping=0" >> /etc/modprobe.d/nfs.conf
Clear the idmap keyring of all existing keys:
# nfsidmap -c
Restart ID-name mapping service:
# systemctl restart nfs-idmapd.service
I've not tested this, so good luck! :-)
