Map is not shown, only white space

When I open the map module, I don't see a map. The area where the map should be shown is just white.
I reinstalled ALR but that did not help.
MacOS 10.8.2 ALR 4.3
How could I fix this?

Flash Player Not Displaying Only White Space

I have a WP 3.0.2 site. When I try to embed a swf file I have uploaded, all I get to show up, in either a post or a page, is a white area the size of the height & width paramaters. In order to play the flash video, I need to right click and select "play" from the menu so watch the movie.
I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong or why there are not play, pause stop, controls showing up and why the video preview image does not show up either
I am pulling my hair out over this one.surprised
NOTE; The WP SWFObject Plug-ins do not help with this. I have tried many of them to no avail.

You have to right-click on the white space and select PLAY from the menu to get it to play
Is there a way to get a player to disply with a background image so it is more inturitive.We do not have the source code to edit the swf files so we have to work with these as they are.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Power Map is not shown in the Ribbon

I have seen similar questions before, but many updates has happened for Power Map from last year when that question was asked. So sure if it is still the same situation.

Basically, I installed Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus, I enabled Power Pivot, Power View and Power Map, all of them are shown as active under "Excel Options" after you open "File"-"Options"-"Add-Ins". But
only Power Pivot and Power View is shown in the Ribbon. Power Map is supposed to show under "Insert"-"Tours", just next to "Power View"(Please see example). It is NOT there.

I tried uninstall Office and Install it again. I also checked that it is the most recent version (as now 15.0.4659.1001), I checked LoadBehavior in Registry Editor, the value is 3. But I do find that for Power Pivot and Power View,
there are four values((Default), Description, FriendlyName, LoadBehavior), for Power Map, there are only two ((Default), LoadBehavior). However I tried to create (Description, FriendlyName) for Power Map in Registry Editor, it's still not working. I later
tried to use repair office from "Control Pannel"-"Programs and Features" it's still not working.
I might be Rookie on Power Map and there might already be solutions widely known among profesionals. I really appreciate if professionals can help me to fix that. Considering I spend much more money just to get functions of Power Map addins.
if this is truely a bug in Map Power, I hope Microsoft would be awared of this.

Since you have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 installed in your PC, you need download and use the Power Map Preview for Excel 2013 as an unsupported add-in.

In the filter the value of text variable is not shown, only technical name.

Hi All,
We have some odd behavior of text variables in the filter screen of key-figures.
After entering values in the variable screen, the report is executed.
Within the report all text variables are filled, with the values entered in the variable screen.
I say all, because we use both sap standard variables &0T_FPER& as customer specific &ZFSCYR&.
When i want to change the key figures showned, i press the filter icon for key-figures (BW 3.5)
In the list shown: existing filtervalues, the textvariables of SAP standard are filled with the value entered in the variable screen. However the customer specific is shown with the technical name (&ZFSCYR&) and not the value.
Has anyone experience with this behavior or even better a solution to prevent this?

Hi Rene,
If ur custom text variable is not getting populated then you need to check out the code that u have written in there in CMOD for this and ofcourse if ur using this text variable after report execution then it will definately be in i_step 2.
So best way is to debug your code and check that using code RSRT.

HT5429 map does not show only the pins with no street view or labels

The map details on my map appliction has disappeared. When I search for a location the pin shows up with no street view detail just a yellow background screen

The same thing happens to me. The map details are gone, I just see the pin on a blank background. It happens on apple maps, google maps, waze, garmin. I zoomed out and the maps shows that im in Nigeria which is about 5000miles away from me
Ive checked my location, tried checking on wifi and nothing worked.

White space not preserved with XSL Mapping

Is there a problem with preserving white space when using a XSL mapping? My schema has the following included:

The whiteSpace attribute alone didn't do it, so I've added length as well which didn't help either.
My imported XSL mapping writes a fix value of " 6.00" (having a leading space) into the field:
     <FileVersion>
          <xsl:value-of select="' 6.00'"/>
     </FileVersion>
Processing the mapping with an external tool provides the correct output with a leading space.
The leading space is missing in the output file or when I do testing in the integration builder. Looking at the target payload in sxmb_moni also shows me the value without leading space:
<FileVersion>6.00</FileVersion>
What do I miss? I haven't really found a posting regarding the issue, hence I assume it isn't really one!? Any feedback is appreciated.

My XSLT mapping does not have a preserve-space declaration. I am using Altova MapForce, and apparently preserve-space is not a declaration that is supported by MapForce. I would need to manually add it to the mapping after generating it in the tool. Nevertheless, isn't preserve-space the default anyway if nothing is declared, and therefore not necessary?.

Three checkpoints:
1. Make sure you have entered the correct outbound and inbound interfaces.
2. Make sure you have activated your interfaces and mappings.
3. Make sure the cache is up-to-date (you can refresh cache by transaction sxi_cache).

A form field to insert white space

Hi all,
I need to insert some white space (the number of these white space is depending to some condition) in a form field.
I show in my report a value and then I must complete this value with some white space to have finally a string with a fixed number of characters.
I have a form field with a value (<?VALUE?>) and then I would insert a new form field to show only some white space. I can not add these white space directly on the field form containing the value.

White Space in SubReport column when one cell grows

Hello, I have a report with a sub report embedded in a column. The sub report contains a table with 3 cells. All cells have the option CanGrow set to True.
I have an expression on the sub report that fills in the background color of the table depending on values in the subreport query that are not contained on the main report.
When one of the cells within the subreport grows, there is white space (as shown in the image) in the cells that do not grow. I need to have CanGrow set to true so that all of the data can show.
How can I make sure this white space is filled in on all of the cells? Short of merging all of the fields into one cell, I do not know what to do. And merging the cells will be a pain since the one cell in the subreport is a link.

According to your description, you want to avoid white space when some cells grows in your subreport. Right?
In this scenario, we are how you set the background color for your cells in subreport. Generally, if that 3 columns are within one tablix, all 3 cells will grow simultaneously. As we tested in our local environment, we just need to apply condition on entire
row to specify different background color, it will not have extra white space as one cell grows. Here are some screenshots for your reference:
As you can see, all the 3 columns will grow automatically.

Permissions are not shown correctly in Get Info on Snow Leopard client, using Tiger server w/ ACL's

Invoking "Get Info" on a file or folder which is on a shared volume hosted by a G5 running Server 10.4 fails to show meaningful permissions when done from a 10.6 iMac. It says only that the user has "custom permissions", which is true since there are ACL's in operation. However, the Owner and Group POSIX settings are not shown, only the Everyone setting shows, making it impossible to determine which user created the file (in order to resolve issues when permissions prevent intended action). The same file or folder will show Owner and Group on 10.5 systems, as well as at the 10.4 Server itself, so we do have a workaround. I have noticed, though, that I have run into permissions restrictions where I should not, such as creating a folder on a shared volume using a 10.6 system, and then not being able to save into that folder from the same system/user.
Is there something about the implementation of ACL's in Tiger that confounds Snow Leopard's Finder?

I did two things to get it working, and haven't taken the time to sort out which did it. But it is working so it's good enough for me.
First I followed TeenTitan's suggestion, and also checked "Allow printing from the internet". I'm behind a firewall so not too concerned I'll get someone's odd photo on the printer.
Second I went back to server admin, selected the queue under queues in the Print service, then selected IPP and deselected LPR. Bonjour went grey but stayed checked.
After this I see the printer with "@ server name" appended, and it added the printer drivers like it should.
So all working well.

JDK 1.6 Installation INSTALLDIR with white space

Hi,
I am trying to install jdk 1.6 in silent mode. I am using following command:
<jdk1.6>.exe /s INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\CA\IAM\JDK1.6"
But this shows me the usage dialog. When I remove INSTALLDIR then it gets installed in Program Files\Java. When I use a INSTALLDIR path that does not contain any white space then also it gets installed successfully. What could be the problem with the white space in "Program Files"?

White space instead of videos

When I try to watch a video or listen to any music that would require flash, I have a box asking to allow it. When I do, I just get a blank space instead of where the video would usually be.
I recently did a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04, so I have the latest versions of Firefox and Adobe Flash. I have installed the extras for media on Ubuntu, including ubuntu-restricted-extras, and have followed the instructions here: Flash Player Help. At the bottom of that screen, I don't see clouds, only white space. The same happens here: Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Global Privacy Settings Panel
Any help please? I have tried everything on other forums. Thank you!

Try to repair your Photos Library.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the Photos Library to launch the Photos Library First aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair".
But make a current backup of your Photos Library before you try this.
