Map not showing standard,hybrid and satellite only only location drop pin is visible

If you havn't already, i would download the latest version of the Maps application for your phone and load the latest map data using map loader.
They can both be found from:
http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download
with maploader make sure you delete the older map data before loading new maps (there is a button there for this)

Ovi Map not showing railway lines on N8 (UK map)

Hi
I've recently purchased a N8, and I was suprised to see the UK maps not showing the railway lines. However if I scoll across to Germany for example, the lines are clearly shown.
They used to show up on my 5800 and show up on the Ovi maps website, so why no lines on the N8? Or is it just an issue with my device?
Can any other N8 users with Ovi Maps v3.06 confirm whether they show the rail lines in the UK please.
Any suggestions? I've tried re-installing Ovi Maps and re-downloading the maps but no change.

What version of the map data do you have as my N8 with 0.2.42.122 shows railway lines eg in Birmingham in the attached image. I have looked in a few places where I know lines run and all have been there, but it is possible that some have been missed.

My position in OVI map not showing my correct posi...

I installed new version of OVI maps today.
when I clicked on "my position" , it is not not showing my position correctly,
why it is so? anybody has any experience?

If Nokia Maps have not been used for a while stored ephemeris GPS data is out of date or similarly if application updated data can become corrupted. You don't mention whether you are hapy for Assisted GPS postioning method to utilise a network access point to contact positioning server = supl.nokia.com or whether relying solely upon the Integrated GPS of device. Try going outside away from tall buildings if feasible, launch Nokia Maps and wait 20 - 30 minutes for it to lock on to position.
It might be an idea to download LeGPSData2 application from Nokia Store so you can keep track of number of satellites acquired:http://store.ovi.com/content/208256

MAP not showing perfect

Dear SAP Guru,
My MAP is not showing perfect(Seams to me).
MAP = 8,270.59
Total Stock = 10,823.288
Total Value = 58,220,630.81
Possible MAP = Total Value(58,220,630.81) / Total Stock (10,823.288) = 5,379.20
But when I am doing GI, its takes 5,379.20 .
Will you please clear why it is showing the MAP = 8,270.59 and what are the possible reason.

Ios 6 map not showing directions?

I using a iPhone 4 downloaded latest iOS in my phone but its not showing directions in map app please fix this.

If you mean that apple maps doesn't work very well in Saudi Arabia then you may find some answers here:

Sadly it doesn't give you the answer you might want but many hope that google maps will release an app soon

Map not showing in places

I'm using iphoto 09, and suddenly, no maps are showing up in places. In the get info section of a photo, the location name still shows up, but there are no maps, no pins for the maps, etc. Anyone have any idea? The map area just shows up blank.

Hi, I’ve found a similar topic with some advice. However, none of them has solved my problem with iPhoto ’09. My brother hasn’t got such problem in iPhoto ’11 on his Mac but I’ll wait for WWDC news before I decide to upgrade to ’11. Maybe our problem is related to the new stuff which is probably being tested now?

Color Map not showing time-dependent change

I am using the latest Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite in Signal Express. I have a Spectral Map step in my program, which includes a Color Map. I am recording an accelerometer's transient response to an impact, and want to see the time-dependent frequency intensity changes as a function of time, so a color map should be perfect. I have no problem recording the accelerometer's transient response in a time graph, and I also see the power spectrum in another graph. While the color map indeed shows various frequencies at different intensity levels, I don't see the intensity of any of the frequencies change over the course of the 200 ms that I'm recording, while the time graph clearly shows the decaying waveform. Why doesn't the color map show a decrease in intensity of the respective frequencies as time progresses through the transient? I have everything set up to display and record the first 200 ms of the impact. At the end of this period, the intensity should go to almost zero.
Please see the attached .seproj file to review the parameters I have set.
Also, with the same .seproj file, I will occassionally get a Buffer Overflow error. From this file, can you tell me what setting I need to change. But I need to make sure that all data both displayed and recorded, is for the 200 ms timeframe specified (10 ms before the trigger and 190 ms after). The ADC I'm using is an NI 9234 in a cDAQ-9172 chassis.

I am trying to figure out where this would be able to recognize the changes since the data would be taken from an analysis of one .2 second signal. Have you tried to analyze more than the one signal taken in? When I ran this project I got the display on the bottom right to show one signal as having been read which makes sense when looking at the data. If you wanted to see the changes over the 200 ms timeframe I would have it run continuous DAQmx acquires for that timeframe. It appears the analysis that we see stays static because it is doing analysis of only one data set that came in. I would think that the change in time that you want to see would have to have analysis done on multiple sample sets to notice the differences from one set to the next.

Drive Mapping not showing up in Explorer Drive Listing

Hi, I am having a strange problem.
I have a unc path that I want to map to and everything works fine.
Apart from one user.
When I try to map the drive under the probmatic account, I cant see anything in my drive list.
I can go to Computer and map the location by using the Map Network Drive button. (This works fine and the mapping appears.)
But the mapping doesn't appear if I use Net Use. (It says the command completed successfully but it doesn't show in my drive listing)
I have added the account to the local administrators group and turned off UAC.
It's really strange.
I need it to be able to map using Net Use because I have a batch file with a command in.
Have you come across anything like this?

Hi,
No multiple connection to the share using the same credentials. It's basically saying that I can't connect to the share as more than one instance of the same user.
But it's showing that no sessions exist. It's like it's not cleaning up the connections properly when you close them.
I have found some other articles.

Run command "net use" in command line with administrator privilege and see if the drive is mapped.
If you can see the mapped drive in the result of net use but cannot see it in Windows Explorer, the issue may be caused by UAC. Are you the domain adminsitrator?

Map not showing colors

Hi,
I installed mapviewer 11.1.1.7.2 on OBI EE 11.1.1.7.0.
I created a map in OBI EE analytics and used Color Fill but my map doesn't show me any colors. There are metrics for my dimension values and when I hover over the areas I can the values popup. I also see a strange square with an icon on the upper left of the area. It dissapears within mili seconds.
I think it has something to do with my browser or cache but I cannot find what the problem is. Does anybody of you have an idea?

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately it's not as straightforward as simply Initcapping values returned from a customer's map query. If we take an example from the map of India, if we were to use the location of 'ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS' as an example. If we were to Initcap that value, the result would be 'Andaman And Nicobar Islands', however the value expected by the relevant AnyChart map is actually 'Andaman and Nicobar Islands'. Note the subtle difference in the word 'and'. That difference will result in the data point not be represented on the map, because AnyChart expects the region names to exactly match those associated with their .amap files. So while I appreciate your frustration, the user needs to ensure that the values they use for the maps correctly match the Map Reference Information outlined in the AnyChart online documentation and also in the show/hide region at the bottom of the page for specifying the map query in the Create wizard, mentioned in Chapter 10 of the User's Guide: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35125/maps.htm#BABGGJHC. If it's more helpful, we can certainly update the documentation to clearly state that users need to ensure their values match the case of those expected by the map itself.

I was facing the same issue with my Ipad - wifi.
I have found a simple solution for this but it needs you to have a iphone and period of one week.
if wifi router's mac address is not registered with apple's location services server, the location services on Ipad-wifi does not work, so we need to register wifi router's mac address to apple's server in first place.
If you have a iphone, then try to install 'Find my iphone' app. install it on your ipad also.
Initially when you login to this app with both iphone and ipad, only your Iphone will show location as it has GPS location. and your ipad location will not be reflected on this app.
If you continue to find your ipad using this app on you Iphone, and using your home wifi router, eventually after few days you would be able to track you ipad location, because your wifi router's mac address get registered on apple's server with its gps co-odridnates.
This has worked for my on 3 different wifi routers in last 8 months.

Geographical maps US maps not showing up in Resolver

The current challenge I'm facing is that I was only able to produce US maps by state and/or capitals. I see other maps included in my C:\Program Files\Business Objects\MapInfo MapX\Maps folder. But I couldn't get them to work like the US 8k cities or US County maps. I have data by zip, fips, state, city, but couldn't get nothing but US and US Cities (which were just capitals) to show up, even when using the mapping resolver to select the map layer.
I really would like to produce a complete map of the US by county if possible (where the county is colored by data density). I found with other software I would need FIPS code to map by county, so I found a database I can use to translate my data into FIPS. So can I with CR 2008 produce a complete US map by county now that I have the data to support it? I tried on my own and can'[t get it to work.
I'm using a trial version of CR2008 I D/L to protype a solution. So maybe that is why the maps are unusable. Or maybe it's how I formatted my data that disallows which maps show up in the resolver. I'm not sure. I need a solution soon, and want it to be CR2008 because it fits with my current technologies (Language: .Net 2005, Production: IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003).
I called Sales & Tech Support early on to find a solution, and both of them said Maps doesn't come with CR2008, yet the datasheet for the product says it does. So I took a gamble (short on time) and D/L the 30 day version and found there is maps! I need to prove this technology works so I can purchase it and get it setup in production soon, but if it can't do what I need, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
Any answer or help would be appreciated, even if it's an answer saying teh product will not do US Counties.
P.S. Is it possible to do POI (Point of Interest) plotting if I have Latitude and Longitudes data in CR2008?

Mapping not showing up for Oracle Tables

I'm just getting started with OWB after attending a class and am using the textbooks received with the course. I've created a project with modules for different schemas each containing several Oracle tables. I don't get the Mapping for either of these modules nor can I use the configure option to create Mappings. Does anyone know what I can do?

I think you may be missing the essential difference between source and warehouse modules. A source module is just that, a place where definitions of he source data is held, which is that data outside the scope of the warehouse project. As such, it makes no sense for OMBplus to reference this information.
As a practical example, it would make absolutely no sense to run OMBplus against your operational OLTP sytem from which you extract your source data.
The value of source modules is that you can reference this 'remote' data as though it is local data, and because you have its metadata, you can manipulate it and map from it as though it is 'yours', even though it isn't. Further, the Import Metadata Wizard can provide details on source system changes, and you can then analyse the impact.
But I'm still puzzled about automatic reconciliation. Please see "Metadata Import and Reconcile" for further details. (52 views and no replies? Surely someone knows how to do this!).

Map not showing in photobook

Creating a photobook I can't add a map to it. I'm using iPhoto 8.0.2 and a iMac 2.4 Mhz. When I'm opening page layout I don't see "map". My husband, who's still using iPhoto 8.0.1, does see "map" in page layout. Bug?

As you have recognized, the corresponding property is reflected in both places, DTN as well as in the WorksetMap iView. So there is no workaround just by configuration.
Anyhow, instead of the map iView, you could create your own small HTML document which links to the hidden navigation targets; then use a KM docs iView to show this instead of the map iView. That would be a quite static workaround, which of course would need modification as soon as there would be a change in the URL iViews (a modified one, an additional one, or one of them removed).
Another approach would be to develop you own generic solution which renders something like the standard map iView does, but including navTargets which are set to "invisible in navigation".
A third approach would be to decompile the standard map iView and to check if it would be easy to modify it just concerning this setting ("invisible in navigation").
