Map Utility missing

Hi
I recently bought the T5i and I purchased as well the gps locator GP-E2
I have install the relevant software to my Macbook pro ( Snow Lion 10.8 edition) but it seems that I cannot find anywhere the map utility (if any)
From what I read to the forum, the map utility was implemented to the ImageBrowser EX, however no such button exists to my application! So I Cannot see the geotagging of the photos even if in the browser shows that there are GPS data.
Unfortunately I cannot use the solution Disk so I had to donwload the software. I had to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times just in case I do sth wrong,but still no luck.
Do I miss a point here? i would really appreciated any help how I can make the GP-E2 to connect with the computer and download the Log files.
Thanks

The Map Utility is on the disc that came with the GP-E2, not on the T5i's disc. Is the GP-E2 disc the disc you can't use, and if so, what happens when you try to? Tried copying the disc (in another computer) contents to a flash drive and running from there?

  • Nokia Maps Icon Missing?

    Good day everyone.
    i have just bought this new Nokia Asha 303 phone and i thought the software installed in the phone is incomplete because i cant seem to find the shortcut for nokia maps. I installed the nokia suite in my pc and check  for software updates and it is up to date. I already tried factory reset, but nothing, still the same. Is it possible to restore the missing icon? thanks for any help.
    sorry for bad english

    Right after having my new phone I started exploring its possibilities testing applications from Ovi store. At some point I got some problems with an application so I decided it would be a good idea to try a reset... I first try with an app settings reset to defaults (from the s40 Configuration menu, not the Restoring Factory Defaults menu)... right after that I realized I didn't have Nokia Maps icon in any of the lists of installed applications, nor I could found any loader in both file units, phone and memory card, for it... I was not 100% sure the icon vanished after settings reset, but I supposed it, so I thought something went definitely wrong and I decided to try reset to factory defaults as I just started testing the phone so I hadn't any information saved there to lose... what I could not expect it's that a factory reset will not yield the software at the same very state as what I received short time before. In addition to not getting back the Nokia Maps icon, I noticed another difference in the system, I have an Introduction icon in the list of default applications, that triggers a video playback showing the phone basics... now when I push that button, the playback starts but only for the audio, and instead of the video I show a black screen with a NOKIA logo in the center, the same very screen I see when boot up the phone. I've seen https://betalabs.nokia.com/trials/nokia-maps-suite/bugreport/46316/nokia-map-icon-missing-after-inst... this problem is not happening only on s40 OS phones, but at least on Symbian^3 phones they had a stand alone installer to install back the app http://betalabs.nokia.com/trials/ovi-maps-for-mobile-v3-08 Something like this seems what s40 OS phone users like me are needing.

  • Business Object creation error: The service mapping is missing

    Hi developers,
    In my CAF 7.1, I have my business object "maintenanceRequest" with several attributes.
    Persistency is remote. Permission check is disabled.
    Create operation is mapped to the external service (enterprise service) createMaintenanceRequest.
    The input fields are mapped, output fields are not mapped since create operation doesn't have any.
    All the other operations are not mapped.
    I have exposed as web service the operation "create",
    I have generated, built and deployed the app.
    When I try to run it from wsnavigator I get an error in the SOAP response:
    com.sap.caf.rt.exception.CAFCreateException: The service mapping is missing
    Please note that the ES works ok (e.g. from Visual Compose 7.1).
    The ES was imported in NWDS 7.1 from service registry.
    Can anyone please help?
    Thanks, regards
    Vincenzo

    Hi Sampath, thanks for your helpful reply.
    I followed the steps from saphelp, but I get errors.
    I mapped my external service destination (an R/3-based Enterprise Service published in service registry) to:
    - UDDI_DESTINATION (error: objectNotExist) [but the ES is correctly published in service registry]
    - wsdl address in backend R/3 system (error: Deserializing WSDL stream failed)
    how should the logical destination be configured?
    Thanks a lot

  • How can I package the map utility for the cannon 6d for someone to view?

    How can I package the "map utility" program from the canon 6D for someone to view the shot locations and shots?

    I may understand your point wrong but if you turn on GPS on the 6D, your client can view your photo location easily. Site like Flickr supports GPS (if you don't remove it) or software like Picasa, Geotag, Geosetter, Lightroom, etc.

    It seems other users of devices without inbuilt GPS have complained of loss of Nokia Maps upon upgrading firmware on this forum unfortunately; I know that Nokia have stated that use of Bluetooth GPS receiver is no longer officially supported since OVI Maps v3.03 although it may still function.
    It is almost as if devices which can't utilise Assisted GPS feature are being quietly removed from the system.

  • BB Maps icon missing. Not possible to re-install app

    Hello everyone.
    I have a small problem that a lot of users seem to have with BB 8900. A Blackberry Maps application has been installed on my device (version 4.6.1), but the icon to start it up is missing. I have seen some posts regarding that problem but none of the proposed solutions seem to work, including reinstallation of the app (upon trying I get a message that Blackberry Maps is not compatible with the software I have installed). I have recently updated OS to 4.6.1.231 (platform 4.2.0.108) so my soft is definately up-to date. I am clueless as to what to do now. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • How to map a missing value to a member?

    Hi all,
    Let say I have 3 dimensions in my data source file:
    Account, Entity, Product, Data
    A400, E100, P200, 10000
    A401, E110, P300, 20000
    A401, ,P400, 30000
    As you can see in the third record, Entity is missing. How can I map this to, let's say, No_Entity? In my Entity mapping table, Type: Like, I have tried using Null and Missing as the Rule Definition, but neither worked.
    Couple of clarifications: This is for an Essbase BSO cube. In my real case, the missing values are not Entity members, but 3 custom dimension members.
    Any ideas?
    We are on 11.1.2.2.
    Thanks,
    Mehmet

    You have a couple of options:
    1) Add a wilcard mapping to your entity maps which maps anything you have not explicitly mapped to NoEntity i.e. * --> NoEntity
    2) You cannot have an empty string as a source value so in your import format, associate an import script with the Entity dimension source field entry and check the length of the string of the source field as it comes in. If the length is 0 assign a value of NoEntity to be returned and map that source value explicitly inyour Entity map

    Hi Stephen,
    There are two related issues that are addressed. One, some Oracle
    drivers return the wrong type (Type.OTHER) for the TIMESTAMP field.
    This is true for the
    9.2.0.1.0 driver that ships with 9iR2. This causes an exception when
    attempting to assign a null to the date field that has been mapped to a
    TIMESTAMP column. Two, all of the 9i drivers (and 10g drivers) return a
    type name of "TIMESTAMP(x)" where x is the precision. This confuses
    Kodo's OracleDictionary which is looking for a string without the
    precision characters.
    Following your suggestion, the following code fixes it just fine. It is
    harmless, in that all it does is do what OracleDictionary intended but
    failed to do. To use it, you must add the following property
    configuration to the kodo.properties file.
    kodo.jdbc.DBDictionary: xxx.jdo.FixedOracleDictionary
    Without the fix, Kodo does not reassign the TIMESTAMP columns to a type
    of DATE. So far as I can tell, as long as the driver returns a
    Types.TIMESTAMP this does not cause a failure.
    This fix will be moot as soon as the bug in OracleDictionary is fixed.
    What I wonder about is why does Kodo reassign type TIMESTAMP to DATE?
    Why don't you treat TIMESTAMP types as TIMESTAMP types? Curious minds
    want to know.
    Best wishes,
    David
    ---- code follows
    package xxx.jdo;
    import java.sql.*;
    import kodo.jdbc.schema.*;
    import kodo.jdbc.sql.*;
    * Some Oracle drivers do not return the correct type for the TIMESTAMP
    field.
    * This class fixes this issue for Kodo 3.3. The problem (an exception
    complaining
    * about an invalid column type) appears when mapping a Java field
    (Date for example) to
    * an Oracle timestamp field, and only when attempting to set null on
    the Java field.
    public class FixedOracleDictionary
    extends OracleDictionary
    public Column[] getColumns (DatabaseMetaData meta, String catalog,
    String schemaName, String tableName,
    String columnName, Connection conn)
    throws SQLException
    // Let Kodo's OracleDictionary do its thing
    Column[] cols = super.getColumns (meta, catalog, schemaName,
    tableName,
    columnName, conn);
    // Catch the columns with a name of "TIMESTAMP(n)" and mark them
    as DATE types.
    // This is what the OracleDictionary intended to do, but was
    foiled by the
    // name which now has a precision.
    for (int i = 0; cols != null && i < cols.length; i++)
    String tName = cols.getTypeName();
    if (tName != null && tName.startsWith("TIMESTAMP"))
    cols[i].setType(Types.DATE);
    return cols;

  • Nokia map app missing

    I have a problem that after i reset my phone to factory setting i found that the nokia map app is missing i try to solve the problem but i could not solve please someone try to resolve this problem

    As Asha 305 does not have embedded GPS positioning would rely upon network cell tower triangulation which is pretty ineffectual and for this reason Nokia Maps may have been excluded from later software updates.
    Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

  • Printer Setup Utility missing

    I just installed Tiger on a G4 1.42 dual Power Mac w/ 1.5 gigs RAM and then updated it to 10.4 via software update and went to setup my Epson Stylus Photo 2200 and noticed that my Printer Setup Utility is missing.
    Yikes.
    I just downloaded the latest driver from Epson -- and now it shows up as a beta even though it is dated from 2004.
    I had a friend send me a copy of Printer Setup Utility from his Tiger 10.4 and it works, but to a point .... It does not correctly name my printer and will not finish any job I send to it.
    How can I fix this?

    I suggest you reinstall OS X.

  • Gis map legend missing on .pdf exporting

    Hi guys,
    i've a big problem with the WAD exporting for printing.
    I've a simple gis map template with legend visible.Template is running fine on internet explorer but when i try to print report (right clic on the map - printable version) in the output .pdf file the legend is missing.
    I try everything: with ie print, with adobe pdf ie add-on, exporting in excel format but the map legend is always missing.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance.
    Andrea

    Hello Andrea,
    you should check the properties for the map web item in your export template.
    The content template is 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_EXPORT for the print version.
    There might be the "display legend" flag turned off.
    Regards
    Tobias

  • Preloaded registration utility missing after recovery

    Hi!
    I have a ThinkPad T42p laptop computer with Machine Type: 2373-HSG and Serial Number: 99K8TAZ.
    When the computer was delivered to me brand new from the factory, there was a "Registration" icon on the desktop which opened a special electronic registration form, with blue background, allowing the owner to fill their particulars in the provided fields and register the computer either online or by sending a fax to one of the registration fax numbers provided according to the owner's country of residence.
    In practice I never made use of this electronic registration utility and had my ThinkPad registered over the phone by calling the IBM Technical Support Centre in the United Kingdom.
    Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, a virus caused so severe a damage to my system that I had to use the Rescue and Recovery feature to have the preloaded operating system, reinstalled.
    The problem now is that after the recovery process and the return to the factory default installation of its operating system and utilities, this "Registration" icon on the desktop and its associated electronic registration form utility has disappeared.
    It is not available for download on the Lenovo website while in the C:\ibmtools\REGISTER folder on my hard disk which includes all the applications and utilities of the system as they were preloaded and delivered from the factory, I can see this "Registration" icon together with two subfolders and a few files but I do not know if and how I can reinstall this electronic registration utility so that I can have it running again as it did before the system recovery.
    I know, you will answer to me that I do not need it and this may be indeed true but I have raised this question, first out of curiosity and second, and most important, for pure psychological reasons as I would feel both mentally as well as psychologically much better to have again my system restored EXACTLY to how it was when it came out of the factory without actually missing anything at all.
    I would honestly appreciate a lot any help that could be offered to me about it.
    Best regards!

    If you go to the Purchased section in the Mac App Store is Mavericks available for redownload?
    It is for me but I also had  2009 Mac Mini that upgraded to Mavericks.

  • Missing Link Utility Missing In Action

    Missing Link is a utility that allows you to open, run, or launch an application, file, or almost anything else on your Mac from a link or a bookmark in a browser. For example, one of your bookmarks in your Safari bookmarks bar could be "TextEdit" which would, when clicked on, open up the application TextEdit.
    Unfortunately (for me, at least), though it worked fine in Panther, Missing Link will not work on my current hardware ... and I miss it so!
    Anyone know of an equivalent thing available anywhere? I've done all the normal searches, of course, and have turned up nothing.
    Thanks for whatever help you can offer.
