MapLoader download interrupted N95

Hi I have been trying to use thr Maploader. The map is downloaded to the software but when it tries to transfer to the memory card (either direct usb or via phone) I get a message that the connection/transfer has been lost and to start a new usb connection. The card is a 4gb sandisk and works phine for music and photo transfers. There is no problem with the pc usb ports using Vista
I'm stumped any ideas?

Hi jimnyuk
Did you run Maps application on your N95 at least once with memory card in phone, which defines folder structure on microSD required by Maploader to write maps data to?

  • Download interruption

After download interruption, to start `mac os x lion download` again a charge of 29,99$ has issued to my credit card but i've bought mac on July 19 and i was downloading mas os x lion software free of charge before interuption. can i get a refund?

    You need a code from:
    http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/
If you don't have that code then you are buying a new copy of Lion.
When you log in to MAS on the front page there is a section for Quick Links - use the Support option which will open in a browser window then choose Account and billing to get help directly from Apple (we're just users like yourself in here).

    Hello,
Welcome to the HP Forums! I hope you enjoy your experience!
I understand the computer is unable to download the printer software. I will do my best to assist you! It seems like the computer is unable to complete the download. First, I would try downloading the software on a different browser (Google Chrome or Firefox are examples). If that doesn't work, download it on another computer and transfer it with a USB stick. I downloaded it myself to verify it wasn't an issue with the driver online.
To ultimately address, I would refresh the operating system, which would return it to Windows 8. Once you do that, you can reinstall 8.1. For more information on how to do this, please look at this Microsoft website: How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC
I believe this information will be of great assistance to you. Please let me know your results. Thank you for choosing the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Download Interruption Upon Installing from Flashkey

I'm trying to download firefox to a USB drive and put it onto another machine that does not have internet access. The problem: I keep getting the "download interrupted" error and from the looks of things, it's not even beginning to download. The installer will open and appears to be preparing to download, but never actually starts downloading. It idles for a few minutes on the initial screen from running the Setup application and finally prompts that the download was interrupted. Any suggestions?

    Works like a charm.
Not sure what the difference was, but for anyone in the future who is trying to accomplish the same, I was originally using the following link: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and when I copied the download to my flash drive, the file was called "FireFox Setup Stub 29.0.2" as opposed to downloading it from the link the-edmeister posted and it reading "FireFox Setup 29.0.2". I'm not sure what the "Stub" indicates, but I'm assuming that was the problem. Anyway, thanks for the help.

  • HT202159 mountain lion download interrupted and resume button not working

mountain lion download interrupted and resume button not working

From the App Store menu bar top of your screen, click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.
You may need to temporarily disable anti virus software to download apps from the App Store including Mountain Lion.
Make sure your Mac qualifies to run Mountain Lion >  Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • Nokia Maploader problem with N95

No i do not have a connectivity error with Maploader.
I cannot start the program at all. After installing. I click on the program then I see a splashscreen. And under the splashscreen I see a message saying That maploader is a program to transfer maps on your Nokia. Fine till then.
When I click OK I get a message Maploader doesn't work anymore: It has never worked!! And the program disappears
I tried both versions Smart2go and Nokia (both are the same)
I have Vista, I also did a reboot after install---> No Go
I tried WinXp SP2 compatibility---> nope not working.
I already opened Maps several times on the N95
don't really know what to do now.

Map Loader often fails for unknown reasons.
If you can put your memory card into a card reader, you can use AvMapsLoader by Andreas Vogel.
    - program: http://sites.google.com/site/avesomega/AvMapsLoader
    - review: http://symbianism.blogspot.com/2009/02/nokia-map-loader-alternative.html
If that doesn't work for you, just download the maps with your web browser and extract them to the map folder on your phone:
    - Nokia Map Loader Alternative: http://nokiamaps.site666.info
If your phone can go online by WiFi or if you have unmetered mobile internet you don't even need a computer to preload maps on your phone.
Of course you can also keep troubleshooting Nokia's own map loader until it works, but that can take such a long time that the alternatives are often faster and easier.
With WiFi and fast mobile internet all over the place Nokia should code a lightweight map loader for Symbian. There's no reason for not doing so, because downloading and unzipping map files really doesn't need hundreds of megabytes worth of Map Loader, PC suite, and .net framework. It doesn't need to take much more than a web browser (already present in Symbian), a zip program (already present in new versions of Nokia's firmware), and some code to make 'em work together.

  • Maploader downloader times

can ppl tell wot sort of speed they been getting when downloading new maps to the n95 with Maploader.
started to download the maps for the UK but it said gonna take 5 hours plus, and thats on a broadband connection.
is the nokia site not able to keep up with the broadband speeds or is just that slow normally

Doesn't seem that putting the card into the PC is that much faster - according to MapLoader it is going to take 30 minutes to download the Malaysian map which is only 10.5MB. That works out to only abot 60Kbps & I am on a 1 Mbps ADSL line. And after 15% downloaded it still says 25 minutes, so it might have been optimistic in the first place!
(My PC is a Dell notebook with built-in card reader, so I doubt it is a matter of Nokia USB drivers as suggested by some)Message Edited by dpbe90 on 12-May-200705:05 AM

  • Itunessetup.exe download interrupted

Have been using Itunes 10 quite happily but a couple of weeks ago the programme refused to launch so I uninstalled and attempted to re-download.
Despite using two different browsers Explorer 8 and Google Chrome the set up programme appears to download to the point that the file size states 66.1MB out of 66.1MB downloaded but after this it states "interrupted" and will not launch.
I have deleted all the itunes related folders mentioned on other threads which cause problems re-installing but as I can't even download the installer I don't think this is to do with my problem.
I have downloaded 4 or 5 times over the last two weeks and the problem recurs.
I use Windows Vista.   Anyone out there experienced this problem ?
    Thanks
    Robert

there have also been some other unrelated downloads that have stalled.
what were the other downloads? (wondering here if that could give us a heads up on the itunes issue.)

  • HT1725 App download interrupted by screen lock?

is there a way to download and app without the screen locking and interrupting it except turning off the screen lock?

Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option find it ? If not then depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries), see if you can redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes (if you have the incomplete track listed in your library then you will need to delete that first, otherwise you won't get the cloud symbol in Purchased for redownloading).
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    Hello tjantonioiiimobile
I would delete the app then download the app again. The article below will give some further troubleshooting steps.

  • Lion download interrupted, resumed; OS installation will work?

When Lion comes thru the internet, and there is a disruption in the connection,
can I count on the resumption of the data flow to give me perfect software for the
installation?  My delay was a couple of hours. It's hard for me to believe it's
100% in tact, but I dont have enough time to start another download.
    thanks

Visualize the download like reading a very big book. Now imagine keeping a tally of what page you're in and how much of the current page you've read. At the end of each page, you make sure to memorize the entire page, update the tally, and jump to the next one. Should you fail to memorize the page or get interrupted halfway, you only need to redo that last page, all the rest are already safe and sound. At the end of the book, just to be on the safe side you recheck that all pages were safely memorized and thus the entire read is ok.
Now turn that idea into computer code and that's how the downloader works. Only thing needed is to tweak the size of the "pages" to make sure you don't have to redo too much when one gets damaged (pages too big) but without adding too much additional administrative work for making this work ok (pages too little).
