    Error : RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformatio~
    Thanks ,
    Syed.

    Dear Syed Kumar
Based on the blog you are executing the scenario I guess. The scenario is clearly focusing on the picking up the files using the mask attribute in File Access Parameters.
As you mentioned clearly, that you are getting mapping error plz concentrate on how to rectify the mapping errors.
    will guide to do so.
    1. Go to SXMB_MONI and in the integration server and check for the message you are trying send.( I hope you did this)
    2. As it is giving you mapping error, Double click onthe message Flag showing red.
3.Plz check the Payload XML content copy that content and paste in the message mapping Test section of IR.
    4. Execute the Test. If you get the message at the receiver side there shouldn't be any error.
If you still get the error let me know.
    Best of Luck

Do the Interface mapping test as well if you are successful in message mapping.

  • Idoc error mapping error for segment "E1EDT13 006" in DESADV idoc

    Hi SAP Gurus,
DESADV IDOC for few articles is not getting passed from SAP to legacy system. It is missing one segment"E1EDT13 006" for goods issue.
Why is this mapping error happening. How can this be resolved.
    Regards.
    Sumi

    Hi Nsangle/SAP gurus,
Thanks for  that. But, I have already compared the failing idoc with the successful one. It's the segment E1EDT13 006 missing in the wrong idoc. I have already added that idoc and reprocessed it.
But, I wanted to know why such kind of idoc segment missing/ mapping error happens.

  • MAPPING ERROR FOR CND_M_SUP - Split of VAKEY fields failed

    Hi,
in CRM our customers request some controls for products that they enter in trade promotion(CRM_MKTPL) These are related to "Listing & Exclusion" of R3 system. So we need to download R3 tables into CRM that are related to "Listing & Exclusion" from R3. We have a table named KOTG804 (Customer/Material) in R3. And in CRM we create a table named CUS804 in the Listing header with the key fields like KOTG804. Then we create download object DNL_COND_G804. And start the initial load for this object. But we have promblems. The errors in SMW01 are like that :
    - Records of table CUS804, usage LI cannot be exchanged
    - Split of VAKEY fields failed (Block 1; Appl. LI; Use CRM)
    - Error when carrying out initial download
How can we solve this problem and take the KOTG804 records from R3 to CRM?
    Thanks.

    Hello
Did you find out what the problem here was? I am facing the same situation. Could you help?

  • Mapping  error for larger messages

    HI,
My senario is File to File with some conditions ( Conditions are written in UDF )
When i am executing the payload with small size mapping executes correctly .
But when i am executing with larger payload Mapping executes but not taking any conditions in UDF , It executes as one-one mapping.
    thanks in advance

    HI
This should not be the case... if your UDF is working fine for smaller payload then it should work for larger payload also..
    - test mapping by using payload and after that in mapping use display queue wherever you have used UDF and try to to see what is input and what is the output.. and this will give you clear idea about what exactly is going on..
    - I guess something wrong with logic which you have used in UDF or is input payload dependent, so try to use display queue to get clear idea about UDF working.,.
    Thanks,
    Bhupesh

  • Mapping error for EDI 823 from XI to R/3

    Hi All,
We are receiving an EDI 823 from XI to R/3 and the XML file looks like this as below.
    Partner No: YRDCLNT110
    Partn Type: LS
    Sender Information
    Port: SAPYXD
    Partner No: EXTD_BALE
    Partn Type: LS
Whereas there exists no partner no. in R/3 by the name EXTD_BALE. The interesting part is EXTD_BALE is a IDoc Adapter Port No in XI.
    Please provide inputs on these.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Hi Karthik,
Have u configure a R/3 port in IDX1 of XI. This port has the RFC destination pointing to R/3. It will be used by XI to get into R/3.

  • Mapping Error- In IDoc to File scenario

    Hi Experts,
Got the Mapping error for one interface (IDoc to file). After comparing with successful message found that the field value (TDLINE) is not availbale in first segment (E1EDT10) in idoc for this failed one.
    Mapping is :
TDLINE -- Exists --- Creatif --- Receiver field(in the file)
But here due to the the empty value in first segment the message is failed in XI system, next segment values is not trasmitted to the recever end(maping is the same above). To overcome this issue please suggest the suitable mapping design in IR.
    Regards

    Hi,
After your CreateIf, use a "IfWithoutElse" by selecting the properties "Keep SUPPRESS Values". To do that, do a right click on IfWithoutElse, choose "Properties".
With this option, you will keep the fact that you have nothing in the source, and so the target context will have a "SUPPRESS" line.  I have not THE solution, so do your own test.
If it's not enough, see also about the "mapWithDefault" (but that depends of your real rule).
    Regards.

  • Sending Request Mapping errors back to a consumer for a sync scenario

    Hello Experts,
I have a sync scenario (JAVA Application <-> PI <-> CRM (service)) where i want to send back any mapping exception that occurs in PI on the request side of the call, back to the consumer.
I also want to communicated back to the consumer, if there are any connection failures between PI and CRM.
I have implemented Fault Mapping in my scenario. Will this take care of any connection failures between PI and CRM also?
    Your suggestions are highly appreciated.
    Warm Regards,
    Anshul

    Hello,
I have a sync scenario (JAVA Application <-> PI <-> CRM (service)) where i want to send back any mapping exception that occurs in PI on the request side of the call, back to the consumer.
You can use the XI alerting framework for that, here are some references:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3f/81023cfa699508e10000000a11402f/content.htm
XI: Alerts - Step by step (Step-by-Step blog by Michal)
I have implemented Fault Mapping in my scenario. Will this take care of any connection failures between PI and CRM also?
Fault Mapping is for application errors only, it will not handle system errors.
    Hope this helps,

  • Alerts for SXMB_MONI mapping errors, RWB errors

    Hi,
We are having solman 7.0 with EHP1/oracle on HP-UX.
I have to configure CCMS alerts for SXMB_MONI mapping errors, RWB errors for PI system(SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1).
I cant find any MTE related to  SXMB_MONI mapping errors or RWB errors under the PI system in my CEN.
So, can anyone please guide me to configure this?
    Thanks
    Nanda

    Hello Nanda,
you have to configure ALert Categories in the Alert Framework (ALM) before any MTE are shown in CCMS. And then you would see the MTE in the local CCMS of your PI system.
Configuration steps are descirbed in the PDF "Setup Guide for Interface Monitoring" under http://service.sap.com/bpm > Media Library > Technical Information. In thisdocument you can also learn how the CCMS MTEs can be integrated with Business Process Monitoring in SAP Solution Manager. And actually BPMon provides some new monitoring capabilites for the Java part of PI that are not covered via CCMS at all.

  • When using Craigslist I keep getting this error: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Nothing I do works to fix this.

When I use Craigslist, my personal list of things being sold, and I try and renew my listings, I periodically get this: "Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain." Usually rebooting my computer makes it go away for a short time, but today that isn't working and following the commands on the warning doesn't work either...is this truly a firefox issue? Input conversion for field Period Value LC has invalid format Message no. UCT8210 Diagnosis The mapping rule for target field Period Value LC contains a move with a selected Input Conversion indicator. Therefore, the system performs an input conversion prior to creating the target data. However, an error in the input conversion occurred while moving the source key figure to the target key figure Period Value LC. This means that the format used for the input conversion is incompatible with the target data. System Response The system will not perform the move. Procedure Examine the mapping rule for field Period Value LC. Either select the Conversion Exit indicator or deselect the Input Conversion indicator. Execute the method again. -
3040 is incompatible with input format for field /1FB/COMPANY Message no. UCT8258 Diagnosis During execution, the method derives the source selection for source field /1FB/COMPANY from the mapping rule for the target field. 3040 is one of the values that were derived for the source selection. The system requires that this value is in the correct SAP-internal format because the Conversion Exit indicator has been selected in the move operator for field /1FB/COMPANY. However, the value 3040 is incompatible with the SAP-internal format. System Response The system attempts to interpret value 3040 as an external format and convert it to the internal format. If this fails, the system is unable to restrict the source selection using source field /1FB/COMPANY. In this case, the system may read more source data than was originally intended, which can affect performance. Procedure In the log, choose the Source button to display the source selections that are used to read the source data. When this appears, examine values selected for field /1FB/COMPANY. If the correct values were selected, you can ignore this message. To prevent this message from being issued, you can select the indicator in the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY. If incorrect values were selected, make sure that the mapping rule used by source field /1FB/COMPANY has been defined correctly. If the mapping rule is correct and value (3040) derived for the source selection does not affect the overall result, you can ignore this message. If the source selection does not contain the value 3040 for field /1FB/COMPANY and, because of this, source data that is supposed to be read is not being read, make sure that the mapping rule has been defined correctly. If the source selection does not contain any value for field /1FB/COMPANY, make an estimation as to how much excess source data is being read and whether this might affect system performance. If you do not expect any performance problems, you can ignore this message. In any event, you have the following alternatives if the mapping rule is defined correctly, but the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY is unsatisfactory: You can define a source selection for field /1FB/COMPANY in the Customizing settings for the method on the Selection tab page. Then the method uses this source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. You can implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) UC_DATATRANSFER and use the method INVERT to determine the source selection on field /1FB/COMPANY. Then the method uses the result of the INVERT method for the source selection instead of the source selection derived from inverse interpretation of the mapping rule. -
Cannot derive the source selection from target field Version Message no. UCT8252 Diagnosis Field Version has one of the following roles: Consolidation unit Group currency key Fiscal year Posting period Version To delimit the volume of the source data to be read, the system usually derives the source selection from the target selection of such a field. However, the system cannot derive a source selection from field Version. System Response It is possible that a greater volume of source data is being read than is necessary. This can lead to performance issues. Procedure Check whether a mapping rule is defined for field Version. If a mapping rule is defined, you can disregard this warning message. However, if you discover after method execution that the system did not process a large amount of data, and that system performance was not satisfactory, you may want to examine the source selection by choosing the Source button in the log. If the reason for the disregarded data is that too much source data was read because of the unrestricted selection on the source field (which is linked with target field Versionthrough mapping), choose one of the alternatives below: Change the mapping rule for field Version so that the system can derive a delimiting source selection. Implement the Business Add-In (BAdI) UC_DATATRANSFER with the method INVERT to delimit the selection for the source field that is linked via mapping to the target field Version. -

1 is incompatible with input format for field FISCPERIOD Message no. UCT8258 Diagnosis During execution, the method derives the source selection for source field FISCPERIOD from the mapping rule for the target field. 1 is one of the values that were derived for the source selection. The system requires that this value is in the correct SAP-internal format because the Conversion Exit indicator has been selected in the move operator for field FISCPERIOD. However, the value 1 is incompatible with the SAP-internal format. System Response The system attempts to interpret value 1 as an external format and convert it to the internal format. If this fails, the system is unable to restrict the source selection using source field FISCPERIOD. In this case, the system may read more source data than was originally intended, which can affect performance. Procedure In the log, choose the Source button to display the source selections that are used to read the source data. When this appears, examine values selected for field FISCPERIOD. If the correct values were selected, you can ignore this message. To prevent this message from being issued, you can select the indicator in the mapping rule used by source field FISCPERIOD. Hi Dan,
Could you Kiindly advise me where we need to write the Mapping Rules in Consolidation Monitor? All he time the errors refering to Mapping Rules. The only Tab I seen "Mapping" is in Data Basis But as per my Understanding Iwe do not have much to do there as it is system generated Mapping Tab.
Where we actually go and select/deselct those Input Conversion Indicator/ Conversion exit Indicator.
    Highly appreciate your advise.
    Thanks and Regards,
