In which case we will be required to set the "Mapping Indicator" to change the structure of message mapping field in a Receiver Agreement in ID... ?

No... That points to LDAP and identity management in particular.. but i am more concerned about the "mapping indicator" set in the receiver Agreement

During the creation of an Oracle Model, Migration Workbench hangs after displaying the message 'Mapping Indices'. The problem can be reproduced with 100% reliability. The Migration Workbench task must be ended with Task Manager. The source is an SQL Server 7.0 database. Oracle is 8.1.7, Migration Workbench is 1.3.1.0.0 and the SQL Server option is 1.3.1.0.1. Any idea what the problem might be?

Colourmap (indicator) in 3d parametric graph.

Hello,
How can I turn on colourmap (legend which describes values in terms of colour intensity) in 3d parametric graph? Is there any simply way to do this or I have to write additional vi?
I was looking everywhere and I coudn't find proper option to make the colourmap visible (indicator not control) in plot area.

Hello Peter,
I do not believe there is any way to enable a color map indicator on this graph. There are ways to display intensity in a seperate graph, however. Another customer has addressed a very similar issue at this link: http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=170&message.id=34884&requireLogin=False , and has provided a pretty good example. One of the bigger things to watch for is the conversion between the ActiveX color scheme and the LabVIEW color screen.

How do I undo the IO6 update cannot access most of You Tube videos

I am very dissatisfied with your decision to remove google maps and you tube, I can't access so many things, you know very well that google maps is best on the web like Tom Tom is for GPS devises, I am unable to access 3/4 of videos on You Tube because Safari does not support Adobe flash player, I was so desperate last night to find videos to show me how to repair an item of mine, and spend hours trawling through you tube for a compatible video, what the ****? I have spend a fortune on this product, either you come up with an alternative that works or you swallow your pride and do what's best for me, not what's best your egos. I don't care whether you like google or not, I don't know anyone who works for google or what food they eat or which shops they like, neither do I know you, but what I want is a product that works for me. Did you do a QFD before you chose to remove these apps? Is that what the voice of the customer and expectations on your mapping indicated. This smacks of arrogance typical of RIM and look where RIM is? Is this what Steve Jobs wrote down in his will? I am a customer who doesn't care what you and your competitors are up to behind these scenes, your feuds should have nothing to do with me I expect a product that meets my needs and not your arrogance and egos.

There's no way to actually revert to the older version. Un-install the current version and install the older version. You can use '''View all versions''' on the AMO page for that theme to obtain the older version you were using.

Problems consuming a web service in ABAP

We wish to consume an external web service from ABAP but the provided WSDL file contains syntax not supported by SAP - namely "mixed content". A response from Roman Glushkov      in forum thread [Call Sharepoint Web Service; seemed to offer a solution.
The WSDL file was edited as suggested by Roman and the Service Consumer proxy was successfully created from this edited version. However, in our SAP release (Basis release 700 support pack SAPKB70018) the "untyped mapping" indicator is not shown anywhere so we are unable to set that for those elements that were set edited in the WSDL.
The problem now is that when calling a method where the return parameters include one of these edited elements we get the error "SOAP:1,001 CX_ST_MATCH_TYPE:XSLT exception.System expected a value for the type g" presumably because SAP is trying to de-serialise the response rather than just return the data as an XML string.
Does anyone know how to get this "untyped mapping" indicator or can anyone suggest another way to solve this mixed content issue?

I've sort of got further in that I I can now call the web service method without error but structure returned is empty even though I know the SOAP response has data.
What I did was to go back to the WSDL and re-write the type declaration bit to fully describe the response message.
The appropriate portion of the original WSDL was;

Using this new version of the WSDL I recreated the ABAP Proxy but as I said this now returns an ABAP structure that is empty. I'm new to WSDL so its very probable that my attempt at defining the response message is incorrect or maybe it is something to do with the fact that the response message has two elements called RESULT - one being the child of the other?

ATTRIBUTE_INV_SND_SERV (partner number different of SLD logical system)

Hi,
I'm implementing an interface with XI 3.0. In my scenario, I've created one IDOC communication channel. and i try to send some data from file (File --> XI --> IDOC R/3)
I am using a XSL mapping to build an Idoc-XML from this input file and I'm filling the sender and receiver partner name (different of the default logical system of SLD)
In a first test, the Idoc adapter changed the partners name by the default ALE name of SLD, then when Idoc couldn't be processed in R/3 system because EDI partner was not customized. We would like to use the logical system of our mapping instead of the logical system froM SLD.
Then, I've applied next changes:
- I've checked "Apply Control Record Value from Payload"
- I've changed the Header mapping, indicating:
        Sender service as XPath = ..../SNDPRN
     receiver service as XPath = .... /RCVPRN
- The schema as ALE#LS
But althought these modifications, we are having this error in the monitoring (SXMB_MONI)

    I've reviewed your weblog and it's very helpful as verifications guide.
    We've imported the Business system from the SLD, but we don't want to use its logical name. We would like to use the logical name of our XSL mappings.
    We've also checked the receiver agreements in SXI_CACHE, and both seems to be ok:
ReceiverService     /.../IDOC/EDI_DC40/RCVPRN
SenderService     /.../IDOC/EDI_DC40/SNDPRN
    And as last step, we've applied oss note 791181, but i have still the same error message ATTRIBUTE_INV_SND_SERV.
   Anyway, thanks a lot for you help. Please, if you have any more idea, please, i would really appreciate your help.

The uri look like paths so the jsp is looking for a file at that location.

How to "hide" a tab in a JTabbed pane.

Hi,
Instead of "removing" a tab; I want to hide it. The reason being, if I remove the tab in the middle, all the other tabs have their indexes re-arranged and that is not good, since im keeping track of each index.
All I want to do is remove a tab and its corresponding panel, in a way such that all the other tabs retain their indices.
Any advice?

the internal implementation of JTabbedPane uses a Vector of Pages (a private inner class). So, unless you want to do a TON of work reimplementing the classes internals, you'll need a workaround.
one idea would be keep a HashMap that maps indices to Components. create a version of the add() command that adds into your HashMap with an assigned index before using the JTabbedPane add method. then create a hide(int index) command that removes the Component in the JTabbedPane, but leaves it in the HashMap; and an unhide(int index) that adds it back in at the appropriate index.
in this way, the JTabbedPane will maintian its variable sized internal representation, but you should be able to create whatever accessors you need to get to active tabs, etc. or iterators...
you can implement this external to the class in your own code. that would ignore the OO methodology. if you make a subclass of JTabbedPane that adds the above functions, just watch your memory usage.
the other, easier way to do this, would be to stop using indices to access stuff, and use references to the objects themself. if you read the source code for JTabbedPane.removeTabAt(int index), you will see an example of this in the for loop that compares the actual Components rather than counting on the index.

IDVD will not burn iMovie

I prepared an iMovie, "shared" into iDVD, and waited the roughly 3 1/2 hours while processing occurred. The burn cycle never started. I got a message indicating something like "multiplex errors". I also tried to burn using Disk Utility - also unsuccessful. iDVD map indicated no problems. The movie plays fine in iMovie on the monitor. Space is not a problem and my iLife is the latest version. I'm using a 2.16 Intel core 2 Duo.
The only thing I can think of is the fact that I downloaded the tape from my Canon H10 using an older, 800 MHz, G4 iMac and got an error message indicating that the computer was not fast enough for the job. The tape downloaded, however, although it took a bit longer, i.e., it didn't download in real time.

This is my first time using iLife so I may have done a number of things that could have caused the problem. Here's more info... I downloaded close to four hours worth of video from the HD10 using my old G4 iMac. I then used this "movie" in my new Intel machine to create a 42 min. version. The soundtrack consists of HD 10 soundtrack plus sound imported from iTunes. The CDs downloaded to iTunes were either my own or from the library. I did, however, put my iPhoto and iMusic apps, as well as a movie folder, on a 500GB hard drive. So all of the above activity has taken place on the 500GB HD. I did not rename, move, or delete the Movies folder in Home. I just created a new folder. However, I also tried putting my 42 min. movie into the Movies folder in Home and reran the process - no change
I will delete iDVD prefs and run the process again to see if anything changes.
Based on some other postings, I reran the process selecting my movie from the Media menu of iDVD (as opposed to sharing to iDVD from iMovie) and nothing changed.
The movie also contains slides - all have the Burns effect and were not shared to iDVD separately. I prepared a complete movie, including chapters, before going to iDVD.
I suppose I could start all over downloading from the HD 10 to my Intel machine, but it took me months of editing to get where I am, so that's kind of a last resort. Since this was my first effort, I'm sure it would go a bit faster the next time, but I would really like to be more confident that that will fix the problem.

What happened to the geo data in Photos? I used to be able to connect a geographical place to my pictures in IPhoto

I used to be able to see the geo data logged with my pictures from my camera in IPhoto. And I could attach a geographical place to the photos in my library without geo data. It was also possible to see a map indicating where all my photos were taken. This feature seems to have vanished in the new Photos application.
Can I see/edit geographical data in Photos?

Geo tagging was dropped like all of the other features that were dropped when Apple decided to dumb down their desktop photographic software.

Security update...Explain this craziness...

I just updated one of our CF 8.0.1 installations with the most recent security patch and it busted CFIDE instantly. When looking at the stack trace there are some suspect things going on. Please take a look at the bold print in the trace below...
1. why is it trying to run CFIDE from c:/work? My installation isnt even on the C: drive
2. Why the heck is "ColdFusioon" being referenced. Its obviously a type o . Not to mention the patch to CFIDE is once again completely wrong?
I figured id come to the forums and see people all over this subject.
Being that i didnt find any posts related to this whatsoever im wondering if this a personal problem and maybe im overlooking something. the update is so trivial im seeing how i could have overlooked anything.
Anyone out there care to chime in?

I wonder if there may be still some potential confusion though.
First, to be clear, since you say you're running 8.0.1, are you sure that you downloaded the 8.01 zip (from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/857/cpsid_85766.html)? There are zips for 9.0, 9.01, 8.0, and 8.01, so it seems important to be sure to use the right one.
Second, as important, are you positive that you're running 8.0.1? I've seen many people discover they are not running the release they think they are. The good news is that it's reported in the CF Admin, and since you say you can get things back to working, go ahead and run the CF Admin (that was failing and is now working) to make sure that the Setting Summary or System Information pages really do show it running 8.0.1. In this instance, please don't trust any assumptions you may have.
Third, about this admin that's now working, is it going through IIS? In other words, is there a port on the URL, such as 8500 or 8300? If so, then you're using the built-in web server and not IIS, and therefore you'd typically NOT be using the CFIDE that's in the inetpub\wwwroot but instead one within the wwwroot where CF is installed (such as c:\coldfusion8\wwwroot for CF8 Standard or Enterprise Server mode, or C:\JRun4\servers\cfusion\cfusion-ear\cfusion-war\CFIDE for the cfusion instance in CF8 Enterprise Multiserver). In that case, you may have applied the fix to the wrong place, which could explain a problem.
But then the fact that you say you revert back to the old files and suddenly it works does make it seem this is not the issue.
Still, as we keep exploring possibilities, you say that "This happened on both of our cf 8 development servers. One is multiserver while the other is CF8 Standard...The instance that im attempting to apply it to would indeed be 'cfusion' in both cases."
To be clear, there's no cfusion instance in the Standard (or Enterprise Server) deployment, only in Multiserver deployment. A server running CF 8 Standard (or Enterprise Server mode) would instead have a c:\coldfusion8 directory (on Windows, as you're running) with no cfusion directory within it (it has a \servers\coldfusion, technically). Since this fix goes into the CFIDE, it's not quite as big a deal.
But the bigger problem is that one could be updating the CFIDE in inetpub\wwwroot but having their CF Admin URL loading from (and looking for code in) the directory inside the CF instance instead. It's confusion that happens all the time, arising from CF's flexibility (to use or not use the built-in web server) and the fact that most people just don't spend their days diving into this level of detail.
I'll note as well that since you said you're using that inetpub\wwwroot location for your CFIDE, (there's nothing technically wrong with doing that, as long as you really are using IIS to open your CF Admin), this also means you could technically point a web site (any or all, or a virtual directory in IIS) to use that CFIDE directory, while then telling that web site to pass any CFM files it finds through any particular CF engine you have installed.
Again, I'm grasping at straws for you, but I could see how you might technically get an error if you tried to run this fix's code meant for one version against another (since they offer different versions). Looking at the CF Admin (assuming you run the CF Admin) to confirm the version (and the location of the CFIDE mapping indicated within it) should help.

Most important documentations for desktop support role.

I'd suggest that amongst many others, you need a network map, indicating how your landscape is put together. It's also worth having a patching diagram in each rack / cabinet for that location.You need to have full details on each server; especially all physical servers. It's worth detailing what services, applications, roles each server (including VMs) are hosting; along with information on any specific configuration requirements. Think of what you would need if you had to rebuild that server completely from scratch.I used to have a number of work check lists; things that would be required when performing certain tasks. These would detail the steps involved, what would be required to perform a check, and highlight any specific requirements or warnings (e.g. don't re-boot unless serviceY has been stopped first as otherwise it might take...

How can i view the last location of my iPhone 24h after i lost it

i lost my iPhone and i'm not quite sure where to look for it
unfortunately (but logically by murphys law) it ran out of energy short after i lost it so i could not locate it with the "Where's my iPhone?" App. I've read that you can view the last location until 24h after it ran out of energy. Is there any posibility to see that position even after 24h? I was pretty dumb not to look up the position first so these 24 hours passed away before i could use that function.
I don't know if that matters:
The device is an iPhone 4.Gen iOS 6.1.4 with WiFi, 3G and GPS enabled when lost.

I use FMiP from time to time and my experience is (when using the browser logged into icloud.com) a red message appears on the map indicating the last known position, but this seems to happen only when I very recently performed a search for the device and it was found. Otherwise, if no red notice appears, then you either find it now or get the message that it's unavailable. So if you don't get such a red message, I'd say icloud doesn't have a past location.

Address check says it's within 4G LTE market, but

after I signed up to Verizon and bought 2 Samsung Droid charge phones home, none of the phones have 4G signal, I can only see medium (2-3 bars) 3G signal. Further checking on the coverage map indicated we are actually in a 4G-extended area....too bad. Will VZW upgrade our area to a REAL 4G soon? I am in Maryland 20841 area. Thanks!

You are still in a "real" 4G area.. Extended just means that you are very far out and probably not guaranteed consistant signal. They'll build it out- just give it time. I'm also in that extended area and depending on where I stand in my apartment, 4G will come or go. When it is linked on 4G, I get around 7-12mbps down / 2-4mbps up. Not bad at all. Even the 3G is peppy with low latency.
Although oddly enough when I do have 4G, the db raiting is between 55-80dbm - plenty to hold a great signal. Why it bounces back to 3G I don't get.. Read this topic for more about that. 4G 3G Signal Flip
