Mapping Meeting place calls via DID Number

I have a Meetinng Place (5.3) and it set up with a central DN. I'd like tot enable DIDs for each user so that they can just enter a PIN and be put into the appropriate meeting room. That way, I can just bill the 800 charges directly off the phone bill and not have to worry about Meeting Place billing.
My vendor says that it can't be done - map a did to a particular "room" or profile. I can't imagine that that is the case.
So - where do I start? I don't see any good install / admin info that pertains to this type of functionality.

Something goes wrong between Meeting place/Callmanager/Voice gateway
Voice gateway uses H323 to Callmanager
Meetingplace uses SIP to Callmanager
Solved problem by creating a SIP dial-peer on voice gateway pointing to MP

With my new iPhone 6 Plus. Connectinge 6 Plus. Connecting Bluetooth to my Prius bluetooth has been successful. However, I am unable to answer or place calls via the bluetooth connection even though the connection has been established. It worked well with my previous iPhone 4S. Can anyone help with this?

  • Place Call to Internal Number

    Hello,
I am a relatively new user of IPCC Express. I am working on a script using the CRS Editor that, when a call comes in, the system will place a call to an internal number and play a prompt to the called number. It currently comes up as unsuccessful when I test it. The script is very small right now as I am just trying to make it complete the call before I add the intricacies.
I have attached both the script and a screen shot of the script.
    Thank you in advance,
    Matt

Just as you said, I removed the Accept step and ran the debugger. It doesn't return any exceptions, it runs right through. When I run the reactive debug (with the Accept step reinserted), it hits unsuccessful when it tries to place the call.

  • OCCS Disconnects from Meeting place toll free number every 30 minutes

    Hi,
I have Oracle Communicator 10.1.3.31002 (Build 070925.0901) installed. I use it to take meeting place calls using the toll free number provided. But, exactly after 30 minutes, the call gets disconnected without any hint or message... I have to redial to get into the call... Is there any setting which needs to be done to fix this... or is it a bug which needs a new version or build to be installed ?
    Thanks,
    Anand

  • Place call to meet-me number fails

    Hi All,
I'm hitting a weird issue with trying to place a call from uccx to a meet-me number.
Uccx will place the call and you do hear the party entrance tone but it never plays the prompt. After the timeout on the place call step it goes to the unsuccessful branch and fails.
Same happens with a consult transfer.
    I've checked codecs and CSS/partitions so I'm 99% sure it's not that.
Looking in the logs the reason is the call state is active.
    Uccx version 9.0.2
    Cucm version 9.1.2
Has anyone seem this before and got it working?
    Thanks Gus.

    Hi Gus-
I have been working with TAC on a similar issue since September. This worked with CUCM 8.5.1.14900-5 / UCCX 9.0.2.10000-71 and stopped working when CUCM was upgraded to 9.1.2.10000-28.
If you use the same script and send the call to a DN on a phone is the call successful?
Have you tried using a Call Redirect step and sending the call to the MeetMe number?  (this is my current workaround)
Could you pull the MIVR logs from your 7.x cluster and see if the Destination message (bolded and underlined below) shows as Unknown or if it is something different?

    hens0861,
Hmm, let's ensure this is working as it should be! So what phone should be active on your account? Did you switch the devices online or how to did you activate the 5s? Please share details.

  • Hi All can anyone help me, I have a Iphone 4s and I'm currently recieving nuisance calls via a blocked number is there anyway I can stop my phone accepting blocked numbers? Cheers

Hi all I'm Currently recieving Nuisance Calls via a Blocked number is there anyway I can stop my Iphone accepting Blocked Numbers? Thanks

There is a way! I'm very happy to share this and hope it helps those who find themselves plagued, as I was.
I have been getting nuisance calls for months from some muppet, who hides his phone number before he calls at 3am. I need to keep my phone on, in case any of my immediate family have an emergency. I'm sure many have the same problem, just turning off the phone is not an option. I have been to two or three shops to ask the experts and none could offer me a solution. I was on the verge of tring to jailbreak my phone or even get rid of it to get an andriod one...That's how bad things had become.
Anyway, this is my solution, which I found by trawling through page after page on the internet, for ages and trying various other solutions first. I have an iPhone 4S and the operating system is 6.1.3 and I am in the UK, on Orange, or EE as we should now call it. I cannot promise it will help everyone, but it works for me.
Go to Settings, Do Not Disturb and switch this on. Underneath here, go to Notifications, then Do Not Disturb again. Then Scheduled and set the times you want the restrictions to start and end. For example, I use 7pm to 8am, so that I know I won't get nuisance calls during this period, but whatever times work for you. Underneath, it says Allow calls from and you can select your favourites. If you haven't saved any of your contacts as Favourites, do so, it's very easy. Just go to contacts, open one and underneath the number there is a button to Add to favourites. Repeat for all close friends and family you want to be able to reach you at any time. All your favourites should be allowed to call. I think you can have 50 numbers in the favourites. But any unknown caller should be simply sent to voicemail.
Apple have had some previous issues with the Do Not Disturb feature and to be honest this didnt work 100% of the time for me. If you find the same, don't give up. I suggest you do as I did at this point and use an app called Call Bliss, which seems to have cracked it. (I have NO connection to them and it's no skin off my nose if you use this app or not). There may be other apps that do the same, or even better for all I know. You have a free one day trial then it's £3 if you want to continue to use it. For me, £3 to solve the problem was money very well spent. If you need this app, download it, then do as suggested above to the point where it says Allow calls from and this time you select Bliss Exceptions. Follow the instructions in the app.
There are two modes, I use suppress mode, which allows all calls to get through except those from unknown callers and those specified by you. I believe the other mode blocks all calls, except those you specify. Please note, the app only works when the iPhone is locked. Your lock might come on after the phone is not used for 5 minutes or so, or you can lock the phone by single clicking the on/off button (not holding it down).
I hope this helps anyone as much as it has done me.

  • Meeting place external calls

    Hi,
We have configured meeting place with webex-node.
When internal users join the meeting we can hear eachother.
When an external user calls the ISDN number he hears all the messages from meeting place, he gives the meeting ID and after that he should hear the waiting room music, or be joined in an existing meeting, but he hears nothing.
When a meeting of some internal users is place, we can hear that meeting place anounces that user XYZ joins the meeting. XYZ being the name that external user has given. But external user can not hear anything, and internal users can not hear external user. When external user hangs up, meeting place says that user XYZ has left the meeting.
It seems that the stream of exteranl user is not mixed with the internal users.
    any idea?
    thanks,
    JH

Something goes wrong between Meeting place/Callmanager/Voice gateway
Voice gateway uses H323 to Callmanager
    Meetingplace uses SIP to Callmanager
Solved problem by creating a SIP dial-peer on voice gateway pointing to MP

  • Meeting Place and Webex Call Back Failing

    Hi
Meeting place 8.5 with WebEx scheduling, SIP trunk to CUCM 8.5.
Calling in using the specified number configured in call manager completes over the SIP trunk however call back from webex fails.
    Error:
WebEx call back failed; no answer.
Problem is I never recieve a call. I have enabled Webex call backs in webex.
Seems like there is an issue on either MP or CUCM.
Just looking for some ideas as I am stumped.

This turned out to be a few things:
    1) I needed to configure a SIP proxy to CUCM from meeting place. This was the CUCM IP address and TCP port number.
    2) The SIP trunk security profile needed to be reconfigured for this trunk.
    3) E164 was being used so I created a translation pattern to strip the + for the CSS associated with the RP.
A few things learned along the way.
    1) The "activity" command ran from a SSH prompt with allow you to simulate a call from meeting place. Option 4, enter the number to dial and "f" for port.
    2) In meeting place - Services -Logs - System Information Capture - Loading the index file and under the  CCA SIP LOG is the error being returned by CUCM. In my case it was Warning: 399 CSLCCM1 "Unable to find a device handler for the request received on port
    3) Command "cptrace" again from the SSH prompt will allow you to view the digits being sent from webex to meeting place.
I hope this information helps someone...

  • Meeting place 8.5.1 WebEx deployment and recording audio calls

Have MeetingPlace 8.5.1 application server (Web Ex deployment model -- 1 server) and we need to record our audio calls and that option displays error.
I looked over docs and configuration guidelines, and see no recording options on our config pages for users/user groups like the documentation states to enable this.
Do I need a audiorecording license, and if so, is the WebEx deployment model the correct model to work with recording? The cisco docs on this are not very clear and I haven't found a document that really lists/compares every feature available for each deployment model. The documents that mention audiorecording license talk about an Audio server or meetingplace deployment.
    Thanks, Erick

I have this working now, I had to add a 1- to the access number so it was 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX on the Meeting Place web ex configuration page then redo the Webex configuratin setup.

  • Receiving calls via Skype Online Number

I understand that I pay £10 for 3 months to set this up.
I understand that callers pay for a local call (so long as they're close to that local number)
I do NOT understand if I pay to receive each call and if so, how much?

  • Avaya - CUCM -Meeting Place

    Hi,
The  current integration is between Avaya and CUCM using SIP Trunk, calling  from Avaya to Cisco is working fine, however when the calls originate  from the Avaya to Meeting place which uses the SIP trunk between Avaya  and CUCM the call does not connect. From the logs I can see that 503  Service unavailable which normally means that the DN is not registered  to CUCM.
Is there any specific configuration for integration of Avaya with Meetingplace using CUCM.
    Thanks,
    Vinay

First verify that the Avaya system is passing the MP number via the SIP trunk to CUCM.  Then checked what number the Avaya system is passing and if that number is routed to MP.  The Avaya system may be translating the MP phone number so it is not being reconized on the CUCM system.

  • Place Call and continue with remaining script steps - is it possible?

We recently picked up IPCelerate which has the ability to send a Text display or Text-to-Speech message to a group of phones simply by dialing a configured directory number.  We would like to text our call center agents with this application when a caller has been waiting for X number of loops.
Attempting to use 'Place Call' to initiate this text page works, however, the script terminates immediately after the call is placed and we would like to continue on with the remainder of our script.  In this case, on Success go back to the top of the loop.
I have also tried to use Call Subflow instead, thinking an executed sub-routine placing the call would return to the original script and continue on, but it didn't.  In both cases, the system comes back and states " I'm sorry, we're currently experiencing system problems and are unable to process your call.  Please try again later."
If there's a way to get this to work via Place Call or another process to accomplish the same result, that would be fantastic.  I appreciate any feedback.
We're using UCCx Express 5.0 (2.064) with premium type licensing.

    Hello,
I did get to an answer similar to what r.stockton did to solve the issue, but I left Exception (ContactInactiveException) Goto in ours to isolate exceptions because we have multiple contacts within our script.  Turns out that this particular exception was thrown by the PlaceCall step ending abruptly by our paging system answering and hanging up the call quickly.  MIVR logs showed that it didn't bomb as immediately as when the debugs showed it crashing - it actually went into a loop over and over with the Trigger contact before failing.
We had some help from TAC on this, but below is what we did to keep some error checking and notification we use available to us.  We are running a check to make sure the Call Trigger (original call) is still active.
placecallContact = Place Call (to Number)
    on Exception (ContactInactiveException) Goto
    label:
CallActive = Get Contact Info (--Trigering Contact--, Active)
    If (CallActive) Then
    - True branch continues with script
    - False Branch terminates call
If this takes the false branch, it means the trigger contact is not active, and has abandoned the call or been transferred elsewhere.  Placed an End step here to prevent any loops.
If this takes the true branch, it means the triggering contact is actually still active. In our scenario, CallActive (boolean variable) is verified true and continues with the script without going into the loop of death.
    I hope this helps!

  • Cannot place calls after 2.2 update

Today I downloaded and installed the iTunes update, then did the iPhone 2.2 update. Now I cannot place calls with my phone. I can receive calls and all other functions work ok.
I powered off and restarted the phone. No luck.
I reset the phone. No luck.
I went to AT&T and had my SIM card replaced. No luck.
I restored the phone to factory settings. No luck.
I restored the phone from my last backup. No luck.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    3G
When I press the green Call button it immediately says the call failed.
AT&T verified that my account was in good standing and had no billing/administrative issues. They then replaced my SIM card. Honestly, I didn't trust the AT&T store to do tech-support on the iPhone. Since there was an Apple store about 100 yards away, I went there next.
At the Genius Bar, the man said that there had been some "voltage issues" from updating via a laptop. He said that I should restore it to factory settings, then try again, but this time from a desktop. I tried that, but still, no luck.
It seems odd that I can receive calls, but not place them.
